Unique hotel under the bridge, easy walk across to Porto. Very helpful staff. Be aware that metro trains go above and you can hear it inside the rooms. Amazing view from our room to Porto and all the port testing places on this side in Gaya

Best view in porto

It is a great place for a family. Best view and best location if you don’t care about the noise that coming from the trains on the bridge, exactly above the room. We came as a couple so for the same price you can get a smaller room in a nice hotel, but if you are more than couple it is a great choice! The kitchen has all you need to cook a nice meal.

The views were amazing. Loved it! Old city feel. Historic part of Gaia. Great and amazing views of Porto. Open the curtain in the morning from bed and enjoy the amazing views! We loved every aspect of this place!

Liked the location close to the river and bridge. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Did not like the concrete type of interior finish, the room (main floor) did not feel welcoming, felt cold and claustrophobic; and the sink in the bathroom is ridiculously narrow.

Gorgeous part of town with amazing views!

This is a fairly new business. The young men who started it have put a lot of heart into it. They have wonderful little touches throughout the building such as a breakfast basket that is delivered to your room. The location is also very nice. The property is across the street from a public parking garage, a short walk uphill to the Morro Garden and a short walk downhill to the Port establishments. You also have the option to walk across either the upper deck or lower deck of the Luis I Bridge. We will stay here again the next time we return to Porto.

The front staff was excellent! Easy to get to all things to see and do in Porto. If you have a car, parking it at the top floor of the adjacent parking garage is the best option but will cost about 17 Euro overnight.

Entrance to parking is a bit of a drive. Construction blocked road pathway only way to drive out on a public road. Not property’s fault. I like how I park in the 8th floor of D.Luis parkade and how I’m basically at the property climbing one set of parkade stairs. Great view. Premium price. Accommodated late check in. I can’t believe there is a front desk at this property with long hours.

We stayed in the Freixa room. Outstanding view of the city, great little apartment for a few days exploring Porto. We were a family of 3.

Great Apartment in a Great Location

Beautiful apartment in Gaia. Close the metro making trips into Porto easy. Wonderful and warm check-in made us feel welcomed. The breakfast is absolutely lovely and cute. Only downside is we felt our room was a little bit dark. However, it’s arguable that this is an architectural choice as opposed to a negative. Overall, we will come back here for our future stays in Porto.

The place was wonderful. Really great location. I parked my car in the parking lot they suggested and walked to the top of the parking lot (well climbed the stairs to the 8th floor). You step out and you're across the street from reception. The people were delightful but the reason to stay is the breakfast. You order it from reception and the lady arrives with a perfect picnic basket containing a perfect breakfast.

Oh Porto is a gem! Picture-postcard view, breakfast served in your room, what’s not to like! One suggestion: If arriving by car, access can be very difficult. Be more specific online by recommending parking at the top level of the garage (8th level) or, if parking at lower levels, take the elevator to the 8th level. The exit from the garage will then be almost directly across the street from Oh Porto!

Staff was very friendly and helpful but all else was not very comfortable. The double bed had a crest in the middle and sagged on both sides. I was sore everyday from it being so uncomfortable. We also used the sofa bed which I don’t think should qualify as a ‘bed’. We also had a spider drop down between us as we sat watching tv one night. And my husband also woke up one morning with bites on his chest and hands...we are guessing from a spider. The bathroom sink is barely usable as it is about 6” wide so water splashes out everywhere on the countertop. The breakfast delivered to the room each morning is nice. It was clean, other than the spiders. The bad outweighed the good here though.

Dark and humid

Very good location but poor quality apartment - plaster falling off the walls, high humidity. Our view was half obscured by a brick wall. The toilet was soiled on arrival. The reading lamp was broken and despite us asking for it to be fixed it was not. The room was dark. Breakfast was good and the price was decent for Porto - you get what you pay for.

I believe this the best hotel in the porto area. I will always stay here.

Difficult Location, Sparse Conditions

In Vila Nova de Gaia with good access to Porto via the Ponte Luis I bridge. The entrance is on a very steep incline. I had inquired about parking, there's absolutely no parking on their street, but they indicated there was parking at the base of the Ponte Luis I bridge. What they didn't tell me was that there's an elevator within the parking that takes you up 8 levels to almost their front entrance. So, without this knowledge, I walked with my suitcase up the equivalent of about a 9 story building! The hotel is apparently "serviced apartments", very Spartan conditions, low, sparse lighting, tiny bathroom with a shower that had no shelf or ledge to even put a bar of soap on, the mattress was sort of a very hard futon pad of some sort. There is an area with a tiny kitchen with some dishes, utensils and appliances. The metro going across the Luis I bridge is just above the hotel and is pretty loud. To cap it off, I was given an envelope that included "everything I'd need to know." I arrived in the early evening and intended to review this after I ate. When I returned, the entrance/office was closed, there is a side gate with a key pad but does not use your key card, it requires a code. The code was in the envelope. I lucked out as another guest arrived just then and followed them through the gate! This seemed like essential info that someone should have mentioned! The Port Cellars are all in Vila Nova de Gaia, otherwise I strongly recommend you stay in Porto.

Amazing view from the apartment

We so enjoyed staying at Oh Porto which is near the main bridge, an easy walk to the other side and a short walk up to the Metro line. The room was compact with a kitchenette, dining table, and big window looking across the Douro river. Magic!

Boutique experience in Porto

First time in Porto and what a great spot. Close enough to all of the sites but out of the main tourist area and on the best side of the river. The rooms are very comfortable and the views to the bridge are amazing. Fantastic breakfast in the morning to start your day. Very helpful staff. A couple of recommendations. First, make sure your taxi driver knows how to get there. It’s on a one way street down hill and easy to pass. Second, It was bird nesting season when we were there so the seagulls can be loud early in the morning. Apparently this is an issue anywhere along the river but good to keep in mind. Otherwise highly recommended.

Amazing view, amazing staff, amazing location

I wouldn't even know where to find an issue with the place. It's a great location beside the main Luis I Bridge, it's on the side of the river that has amazing restaurants. The view is gorgeous from the actual apartment. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful as well.

Outstanding “home-base” for exploring Porto

Very nice but avoid the ground floor room

Had a nice stay here, all the front of house people were very accommodating. We were allocated the ground floor room however, so people walking outside can see right into the room. The tram/train noise was loud through out the night, might be worth for the hotel to invest a little in noise insulation.... Room condition was very good all around, the continental breakfast hand-delivered to your room in picnic basket was a really sweet touch. Location was very good too, just a few walk up the stairs you can see the beauty of Porto in all its glory.

Apt view over Porto & the Douro River.

Not an easy place to find as Porto, traffic and very narrow roads condition and no one can explain where the apt., is situated, even the GPS. Took us almost two hours to find the Apt. Per Orbitz message "if you come by car the best way is to leave the car at the last floor of the D. Luis I parking lot. Is right in front of the river and the D. Luis bridge. You can check it on google maps right here. https://goo.gl/maps/CuPNkc2Wpn42. Yes, the only way to reach the Apt., is park first in the garage and the last floor is the 9th floor!

Amazing view, great location!

Our family of 4 (kids aged 5 and 7)loved this hotel. The location was perfect for exploring both Vila de Gaia and Porto. Amazing service from the staff. Lots of great suggestions for nearby restaurants and attractions. Nice to have breakfast delivered to our room too! Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Porto!

Amazing apartment, amazing view!

Oh Porto are truly amazing apartments. They are located in a wonderful spot with fantastic views. The apartments are very well equipped with everything you could need for your stay. Everyday morning a breakfast basket is delivered to your room, at a time to suit you. The staff were so pleasant and helpful and it was clear their main concern was that you had a wonderful stay.

Oporto, oh wow

Have just returned from a fantastic stay at Oporto. Fantastic location which is a short walk into the old town across the bridge (remember Porto is a very hilly city). The views from the rooms are brilliant (slightly blocked from the ground floor apartment). There is some noise from the overhead metro but it never bothered us. Staff where very friendly and helpful. The breakfast delivered to the room was a great touch and plentiful. Would definitely recommend and stay again

Cozy Place for a Couple

Breakfast was great - I loved that they brought it to your room! The room had everything we needed and the surrounding area wasn't too loud. Very close to the metro. I would stay here again!

Oh Porto not Oh Dear

Had a great stay here. Great location. Fabulous breakfast. Excellent views across the river. Helpful staff. Only small picky points - like so many hotel rooms - poor lighting made worse by having to pull the curtains for privacy - needs blinds you can turn to stop people looking in. Husband thought bed a bit hard. But - we loved it.

Amazing stay!

The hotel was just beautiful, we could not have asked for more. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The room was clean, had everything you needed and the views were just beautiful. Very well thought through and we would reccommend it to anyone! Very good location and easily accessible from anywhere in Porto. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back soon!

A room with a view?

Correct. But unfortunately our room becomes a view to passing people. My room is ground floor!!. No one can imagine good view with ground floor. Close to the window, I can see the city view but I have to show my room as well. Besides, I have to hear every 10 min passing the trains sound. In spite of all this inbearable condition, the staffs are very kind and friendly also breakfast was good.

Our stay at OH PORTO

Our stay at Oh porto was very pleasant the staff were amazing and very helpful, I will add that around 23:00 there's seems to be work carried out on the bridge each night so can get noisy for up to 2 hours but other than that it was amazing and the view from our windows was breathtaking.. room device was great. Fresh continental breakfast each morning. It would of been nice to have had a bit more variety, cheeses, ham, yogurt etc etc. But overall 9/10

The best stay in Porto!

After staying in 4 different hotels in the Porto area, I feel confident stating that Oh! Porto not only has the best view, but also the best customer service and best complimentary continental breakfast. The rooms are more than spacious, tastefully decorated and modern, and comfortable. The location is very convenient, especially if you plan to tour the wineries - they're all walking distance on an adjacent street. Yes! The location is ideal even though it is in Gaia - across from Porto proper. We couldn't stop raving about this place to our friends! All charm - this hotel is also relatively quiet (compared to staying in the nearby Ribiera area), save a few moments when the train goes by during waking hours, and felt very safe and secure!

Great Location, Great Staff, Great Room!

Absolutely ideal experience. The view of the cathedral district, river, the Ribeiro, and two of the six bridges was amazing. The staff was helpful, friendly, and accommodating. And always smiling! The breakfast was a real treat -- pastries, cereal, orange juice, milk, tea, coffee. I walked down to the river or up to the metro station. I usually walked across the Dom Luis I bridge for the view. The room was comfortable and spacious. The outdoor patio was great one night for wine and snacks. And the parking garage was right across the street. You can't go wrong with this hotel!

Beautiful views, the breakfast was fantastic. Also really appreciated that the staff was available by phone after hours. We wish we could stay longer! The only suggestion we had was to maybe mark the parking structure better.

All originally decorated. Also original the breakfast is served directly in the room wits using baskets. Very friendly and helpful staff. Limitation: No private parking. Noise from subway trains passing over the bridge. Not too rich breakfast

well presented hotel,tram won't let you lie in

a great little hotel, only issue being the tram nearby, this largely operated outside of when we were in the room (11pm- 0900) so not to much of an issue but it would spoil a lie in!

Modern, functional and friendly with a laid back a

Very friendly, kind, informal and welcoming staff. A 5-10 minute walk from the Ribeira district, the Cathedral and the Sao Bento railway station. Metro stop 2 minute walk. Restaurants and wineries of Vila Nova de Gaia well within a 15 minute walking distance. Newly furbished, functional wee hotel with modern design. Kitchen, espresso maker, air conditioning in room. Safety code on outer door. Very good in-room breakfast service with flexible timetable. Room a bit narrow for a queen-size bed with rather hard mattress. Room cleaning, towel changing in need of improvement.

Three night stay, great experience overall! Small hiccups with equipment (e.g. wifi connectivity, a/c didn't turn-on once) but fast and effective response by very motivated mgmt-owners.

Fabulous place with awesome vibe and great staff! Definitely in my top 10. Worth visiting, the views are gorgeous and the hotel itself is in perfect location, with cozy but modern atmosphere.

Cosy apartment hotel

Friendly owners, nice room and peaceful neighbourhood with a very nice park well located at the famous Don Ruis bridge. Away from the crowd but still accessible into the city of Porto. Best to arrive and depart by car or taxi if you have luggages because of the cobblestones slopes and paths.

The apartments are located in Gaia facing the Luis 1 bridge and Porto ols town. Short walk across bridge downhill. If you arrive by metro Jardin do Morro station just a short walk downhill to arrive. A taxi should not cost too much either if you have a big bag. The heating is not central and does not cover the entire room.

Nice hotel, cool design. Close to city center, waterfront and port houses.

새벽 1시 부터 새벽 6시까지 내내 공사하는소리가 귀때기를 때려댐 밤새 파리투나잇 옆방에서 물트는소리 물내리는소리 샤워하는소리 밤새 다들리고 강가 다리가 가까워 이쁘지만 그만큼 기차소리도 밤새들림 모든 원기옥을 뷰 하나에 몰빵한정도로 뷰만큼은 쥑임 밤새 놀거면 괜춘할듯!

Es sin duda la mejor Opción en Oporto. Dejas el coche en la última planta del parking que está justo debajo del hotel, y a continuación visitas Oporto sin problema andando y difrtuandolo en todo su esplendor,

Lo mejor la ubicacion, las vistas y el diseño de los apartamentos Pero estar al lado del famoso puente de Luis I por el que pasa un tren se oye ruido, pero merece mucho la pena. La experiencia fue excelente

포르투 6박 중에 2박을 호텔 아닌 곳을 검색하다 찾은 곳이예요. 길게는 말고 하루이틀 머문다면 추천할만해요. 아무래도 호텔이 아니다 보니 화장실 샤워실도 그렇고 소파베드도 그렇고 좀 불편하긴 하더라구요. 하지만 창밖에 동루이스 다리가 보이고 강건너 풍경 하나만으로도 묵을만한 가치는 있어요. 아침식사를 바구니에 넣어서 배달해주는데, 보기만 좋은걸로....그래도 사진은 남았어요~~~

Estancia perfecta para un fin de semana

Excelente servicio, las dos chicas de Recepcion son especialmente amables, nos indicaron incluso dónde comer o que visitar con gran acierto. La ubicación es perfecta, con estupendas vistas. La habitación es muy cómoda, limpia y con un look muy cool. Es un apartahotel especialmente bonito. Fue una estancia estupenda.

房間寬敞舒適，視野極佳，每天提供豐盛的早餐來房裡，接待人員會詳細介紹整個環境，不論是加雅新城岸邊的酒莊、餐廳都幾步路就到，過了鐵橋就是波多城，走路即可到達各景點，停車更是方便就在門前，真是太棒了！

Hôtel placé en milieu de pente, idéal pour une ville comme Porto. L'appartement est sympathique et possède une petite cuisine. Possibilité de prendre son petit-déjeuner sur la terrasse grâce au panier pique-nique fourni au petit-déjeuner. Tram passant à proximité mais absolument pas gênant pour dormir.

Excellente adresse idéalement placée pour visiter Porto ! Personnel agréable et chambre confortable. Nous reviendrons !

룸에서 뷰는 만족하나 다리 아래쪽에 위치해서 경사가 심하고 경사 제일 아래집이라 오가는데 힘이듭니다. 방음이 좋지는않아 충분한 수면에 약간 부족합니다.(갈매기 소리, 고성방가 등)

Linda vista para Porto.

Ótima localização e excelente custo benefício. Apenas a cama, sofá cama, para a terceira pessoa poderia ser melhor. Poderia ser uma cama normal pois o quarto é espaçoso.

Die Aussicht ist einfach fantastisch. Die Rezeption ist mit außergewöhnlich freundlichen Damen besetzt und Sie sind immer sehr hilfsbereit. An die schmalen Betten werde ich mich nie gewöhnen.

Tolle Ausgangslage für Städte-Trip

Top Lage mit einem Hammerblick auf Porto. Das Team vor Ort ist super-freundlich und das Frühstück im Korb total originell - sehr empfehlenswert. Störend war nur, dass bis nachts Brückenarbeiten stattgefunden haben, da war nicht an Schlaf zu denken, aber dafür kann die Unterkunft ja nichts!

Das Zimmer war kalt, ungemütlich und sehr laut.. Ein Fenster war zur Straße, die Leute konnten ins Zimmer gucken. Wir haben an der Rezeption vorgeschlagen, dass man doch wenigstens eine halbhohe Milchglasscheibe anbringen sollte. Keine Abwechslung beim Frühstück!!!!!!! Alles sehr unpersönlich. Bisher das schlechteste Hotel, dass wir über Expedia bebucht haben. Einziger Pluspunkt die Lage!

2박했는데 뷰가 좋았음

Oh Porto ist wirklich ein super Hotel. Der Service ist überragend, alle sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit (mit guten Tipps für Essen und Trinken). Das Frühstück (Picknick-Korb) sucht ebenfalls seinesgleichen.
