Very good value for money.

Great hotel a little further out but on the metro so it was easy to get around town. Room and facilities were very clean and modern. Used the small rooftop patio and pool after a hot day in the sun, very nice. Recommend for quality as well as value.

Room was dusty and smelly. Room and corridors felt dated. Not a 5* hotel.

When i booked ,i requested with breakfast, when arrived said no breakfast. Hous keeping no good, one day coffee missing, one day no sugar Front desck ,not so great, There is a bottle of wine in lobby, never offered us, so we didn't thouch it as arefreshment. May it was for netters. Anyway we stayed in two other hotels during our recent visit.and this hotel didn't worth $350 /nt. I'm planning to report to my credit card, to and tell them how i was dupped.

We liked our stay at the Ofelias Hotel, everything was clean and well kept. there was enough resteraunts and shopping in the area to keep us happy.

Great location, great helpful staff, room was dreamy, the terrace was a bit underwhelming but still nice! Pool was far too small considering the amount of guests.

The hotel is nicely decorated with a beautiful design. Despite the room being a little small for a family of 3, it was a comfortable stay. The first night was a bit too warm because the aircon was centrally controlled so you cannot adjust the temperature. However, this was not a problem as we've found out that the windows can be opened. It would be ideal if reception staff could let the customer know about this during check-in. The room was clean with adequate supply of amenities. Customer service was also great with friendly and fluent English speaking staff. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Great little hotel at the center of everything.

Beautiful hotel and staff were very helpful

We had to move from a Junior suite (604) to a terrace room due to a very noisy lift that kept us awake during the first night. The second room was a downgrade and smelt on damp (102). While the hotel did move us promptly, they did not reimburse us for the room change, nor did they offer any form of compensation for the lack of sleep the first night. Very disappointed. Apart from that hotel is clean and pretty. But definitely style over substance.

Lovely boutique hotel

A lovely boutique hotel with a lap pool on the roof. The hotel is in a great location just outside of the main centre but fully accessible by foot or train. Walking distance to attractions and great food areas ie San Antoni. The staff were most welcoming and helpful.

Property is in a great location, right on a metro stop and with a big shopping centre next door for any forgotten essentials. Would definitely return.

The hotel is lovely, with beautiful attention to detail. The room was spacious and quiet. However, the air conditioning wasn’t working, and we called down to the front desk. She said someone could come up to take a look. We stayed up hoping they’d show, but they didn’t. Alas, we went to sleep. It was hot and uncomfortable. I spent the night sweating.

I absolutely love this hotel. Everything is so close to it. If you have trouble finding a taxi, the walk to the hotel is about 20-30mins. Very convenient. This will be my go to hotel when I visit Barcelona. Plus the hotel is very cute. I love everything about it.

Perfect City Break Hotel

This is a lovely hotel in a great location of Barcelona. The rooms are spacious, free mini bar and an excellent Buffet breakfast. All the receptionists were extremely friendly and very helpful. A perfect stay thank you x

Pleasantly surprised

Chic and nicely appointed boutique hotel, especially for the price. They even have a lovely lounging area and pool on the rooftop. Great location next to restaurants, shopping, public transportation. I definitely would stay here again.

Cute Property

We stayed for 2 nights and really were not in the room very much. It was clean and nicely appointed . The staff was helpful and nice.

The hotel is very beautifully designed, with attention to detail. Cristina at the front desk was delightful and helpful. An excellent boutique hotel.

I loved the location and the size of the hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful with getting me tickets to museums and boarding passes. The hotel was located next to a shopping mall, restaurants and walking distance to museums.

This was a lovely little hotel. The decor is fresh and original, it is extremely clean and the room was bright and comfortable with all the amenities. I do wish they had a makeup mirror as many hotels do though as the lighting was a bit dark in the bathroom. That is minor though because overall we really liked this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Hotel looks nice but has few problem

Ofelias looks like nice but there are couple problems, 1). AC temperature setting is opposite (lower temp set to higher). 2). Found electrical kettle in closet but no outlet can be plugged in. Also, the wire is less than 30 cm. Later, the front desk and kitchen prove this electrical kettle is broken 3). The layout of circuit is strange and easily break power surge fuse broken. 4). The girl in night shift has attitude and not friendly.

Ofelias hotel

We stayed for a week in September and can honestly say it was fantastic, clean rooms, comfortable bed, great shower, roof top pool gets sun in the afternoon, very helpful staff, Lots of good restaurants in the area 5 minutes walk to the metro Large shopping mall across the road We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel so can’t comment on that All in all a very pleasant experience

The style and so cool and unique

Pretty nice!

Nice clean hotel, high end but not luxury. The room was small but pleasant. We opted for a terrace room, which was pleasant and private, though it meant the room was on the 1st floor so if you like to be up high don’t choose a terrace room. Breakfast was good. There is a pool on the top floor which is quite small but very nice. Only criticism is that the mattress was quite hard — we’re not being sleeping beauties, we slept in a number of hotels on this trip and this bed was out of the ordinary.

Staff were very welcoming all the way through our stay. Close to the heart of the city so many restaurants and shopping centre near the hotel. Room was spacious and comfortable after day of travelling. Hand sanitizers were present throughout the hotel. Overall pleasing stay for me and my wife.

The staff was very friendly and conscientious and quickly responded to any questions or needs we had.

I would not recommend this property. I reserved a king bed room for 3 people. The hotel staff refused to let us check in without paying 80 euros extra and moving to another location. The room we paid more for was the same size. They also refused to let us refund our reservation to find another hotel. They never stated in their policy there was only 2 guests maximum for a king room.

I traveled to Barcelona alone and this boutique hotel was perfect! It’s close many shops and restaurants, and I always felt safe. You’ll need to take taxis or car services like Cabify to get around other parts of the city (e.g., Gothic neighborhood or the beach), but most major attractions are either a 20 min walk or a 15 min drive from the hotel. The hotel itself is mesmerizing; it’s super clean and my room was absolutely charming. Breakfast was included and that was a nice perk to have. The staff are friendly and you can’t beat the views and the rooftop pool.

Good space

1. Some 2lady staff is not kind and rude.. 2. Room cleaning service didn’t provide everyday neither 3. Never Soundproof

This is a beautiful property and very close to the shopping mall (Las Arenas) and the Magic Fountain / National Museum of Art.

Room, breakfast and location was fantastic but our air conditioning and extractor fan were not working. With Barcelona being as warm as it is, would have been to have some air conditioning, not that there isn’t one in the room it just wasn’t working. Otherwise, was a great experience.

Location was perfect. Very quiet rooms, well insulated from outside noise. Character lifts were a nice touch. Breakfast was a bit basic for the high rating, so only used it once over the 3 night stay.

Beautiful Hotel convenient location

Beautiful hotel very convenient location beside placa espana, with metro, arenas shopping centre and magic fountain a few minutes walk away. Breakfast has a lovely selection of hot and cold foods self service as well as nespresso machine and seperate hot milk readily available. The hotel has a policy to preautorise the cost of the first night about 5 days prior to check in so do contact the hotel directly if this an issue. If you use revolut to make the booking, it takes so long for the preauthorised amount to be returned.

Bad Experience!

It was my wife's birthday and i got a room with balcony and paid extra. When we reached the hotel and got our room...after few hours the ceiling started to leak. We reported this to the person sitting downstairs. They first told us to wait till the morning so someone can fixt it. After an hour when we couldnt sleep, I called them again and they offered me a smaller room than what i paid for. I accepted the room and moved everything till this one got fixed. Next day when we came back from our day, they told us that the room was fixed. We moved everything again! Only know to know after few hours, it starts to leak again and the entire room is filled with water. My wife slipped on the floor and was luckily not hurt. I called them again and they moved us again! We asked for refund as the amount we paid for is not what we got. They told us to work with hotels.com and refused to provide us with a similar room.

You get what you pay for

It is really convenient for a couple of days. Really close to Plaza España and they make you feel comfortable. The bed is really really good, like yoi dont want to check out. I would come back

Gorgeous hotel right next to Plaça Espanya

Gorgeous small hotel in a fantastic part of Barcelona (but tucked away from the traffic noise). I recommend upgrading to a room with a terrace - Barcelona has an excellent climate all year round and we enjoyed hanging out there having a nibble and a glass of cava. Nice little touches in the rooms (quality bedding, nice toiletries, little bottle of wine and glasses left for us in the evening plus an extra duvet brought to us at 1am when it got a bit chilly in the room - thanks!). No idea what the breakfast is like, we chose to go to Benedict lab a few blocks away for a cracking brunch. Next door is Las Arenas shopping centre and the footsteps of Montjuic.

Excellent location. 3 minutes walking distance to Espanya Station, a big hub in the city. Decorated with style throughout the facility. Good size room. Vey helpful front desk staff.

Great location. 5 minutes away from the subway, taxi stop, little mall, local breakfast spot and local store. 10-15 min from everything else in Taxi. Very clean and comfortable throughout the hotel including the sitting rooms, our room and the pool area. The beds were also very comfortable. The little extras that they gave us like bedroom slippers, map of the city and facial wipes were a nice touch. A bit hidden so you are not smack in the middle of the city noise. The hotel always smelled great and during the afternoon there were little tea cakes and tea which i thought was also very nice. The staff was very helpful and professional. 24/7 receptionist. I would definitely stay there again. Perfect experience for my first time in Barcelona.

Fabulous hotel and location

Super friendly staff, exceptionally clean rooms and great location! Looks the exact same as the pictures so you know what to expect. Recommend the rooms with a terrace - no view but nice to have the extra space and to sit outside with a drink at night. Really close to a main underground station - we arrived from the airport by local transport and found it to be very straight forward. No faults whatsoever. Would stay here again!

Staff were very congenial and helpful. The esthetics were pleasing and the decor well chosen. The hotel is very close (walking distance) to the metro, a large shopping mall and restaurants which is very convenient. One of the restaurants within walking distance was extremely good too! We rarely had to take a taxi anywhere as the hotel is also conveniently located within the metro area.

Luxury Stay

I stayed at this hotel for a week with the mother. The staff was very friendly and housekeeping was excellent. We shared the bed and it was very comfortable. The shower was my moms favorite. The water pressure excellent and the water got warm fast. In the summer the roof would be perfect but we went in December. The hotel is also close to two subway lines which are 15 minutes from the center. Very easy travel.

Minimalist and stylish with great breakfast. Located next to barcelona stadium and plaza de espana.

Feel metal springs in bed, rotting bathroom floor

The most uncomfortable bed I've slept on in years, you can feel the springs poking you. Would have cancelled after one night had I could. Also, the laminate wood floor is coming apart and rotting in the bathroom area. In need of serious updates, especially to the mattresses. If you don't like feeling metal springs when you sleep I honestly can't recommend this hotel.

Really liked the interior design. Everything looks super cozy, authentic and welcoming. Felt like at home the moment I walked in. The service was nice too, the receptionists were very helpful. Also it’s close to many attractions.

Superb and cozy hotel that works a relaxing base from which to explore Barcelona. Bed was comfortable and pillows and sheets were soft and luxurious - I'm a light sleeper but fell asleep instantly. Staff are friendly, helpful and chilled out. Breakfast is quite minimalist but made to a high standard - perhaps worth getting this for one or two days. Definitely a solid 4* hotel - we were in a corner room which was sound-insulated... the other rooms faced a central atrium. So if you are noise sensitive add on the booking that you'd prefer a corner room as this was perfect for us. Many thanks to the excellent staff!

I needed to change my dates and sent the hotel various emails without them getting back to me once. I also called and they do not answer. Consider another hotel whereas this one only cares if you've paid and leave soon.

Great location. 2 min walk to nearby metro and aerobus transfer to airport. Very accommodating checking in early and checking out late since our outbound flight wasn’t until 6pm. Absolutely in love with this hotel! And definitely would book again!

This hotel looks amazing on your website pictures.. However reality the hotel did not live up to my expectations...

Okay for a day or two but not a lengthy stay

Tge service at the hotel was great but the room was very damp and smelled very moist. It was difficult to sleep. The location was close to magic fountain but very far from all other attractions.

Hidden Gem

The property was modern, stylish and clean. Room was nice and clean, everything that can be expected from a 4 star hotel! Staff where helpful and polite. We opted not to have the breakfast as it was abit simple. Lap Pool is nice for a dip. There are nice restaurants about 20 minutes walk from here, metro is nice and close and we used it a lot. The only negative is that the beds are extremely firm, which I didn’t mind too much, but a mattress topper wouldn’t go astray. Thank you.

The lobby is lovely as is the small pool on the roof. The rooms are a bit smaller than they appear online, but still a lovely place to stay. Note there is only breakfast- no other restaurants or bars on site.

Beautiful property and beautiful rooms with a luxurious feel. The location was easy for getting to restaurants or the metro. If you want to stay in this area of Madrid, I highly recommend you exploring this property as the staff was very welcoming and helpful too.

We loved the terrace - that made the week at the Ofelias Hotel very special indeed. Coming back from a night out and being able to unwind in our own little area made the trip very home-from-home-ish. The bed was a little too hard, but nothing too bad.
