People were so friendly & helpful! Lovely, absolutely lovely guesthouse with all the amenities & super friendly, helpful staff. Amazing breakfast, lovely room, loved the bikes (included), close to everything- shopping, restaurants, beach, metro line. Loved the breakfast hostess- SO sweet! Loved the rooms! Restyling my house to match this minimalist, Calming atmosphere that just had everything we could think of to have fun. Can’t give it enough stars! Stay here!

Exceptional

10 stars all the way around! Ivo was a most excellent host. His pre-arrival instructions were thorough, he answered so many questions for me, found a pickleball court for my obsession, etc. The property is beautiful. You can tell much care, design and detail went into the furnishings. My room was so comfortable and had everything I needed. The pillows and shower were amazing. Fatima and Vania were super sweet and helpful as well. The breakfasts were a delight as was the afternoon snack. I loved being able to walk to nearby restaurants. I felt very safe. I hope to return one day!

Outstanding week at Ocean Porto! Very charming boutique hotel with all the amenities one would want and an extremely warm and helpful staff. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! The shower was second to none, and a luxury after a day scaling Porto's hilly terrain.

The hotel was beautiful and comfortable. Our room was spacious and quiet. The breakfast offerings were delicious, especially the breads and yogurt. The owner and staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

I was told we would have a garden view when in fact it was a bedroom on the third floor with no windows and quite isolated with a slanted ceiling that my husband kept hitting his head on. Wouldn't stay there again especially in that room anyway!

It is a charming older building with modern amenities. Our room had polished granite floors, with large windows facing the street, but the shutters afforded us a dark comfortable sleep during our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This area outside of Porto is the best of both worlds. The hotel itself was impeccable. Clean, spacious and exactly as pictured. Some people mentioned the noise of the trams but it really was fine—you can hear a soft rumble but no wheels screeching or horns. Would happily stay again

Amazing place to stay once you are in Porto

We had a lovely stay in Ocean Porto. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The shared areas were a great place to relax and my daughter enjoyed the jacuzzi after exploring the local area. We would highly recommend this property.

Location is good for restaurants and beach. Clean rooms but room 1 ground floor is a bit noisy at night when trams passing and room 6 top floor room ceiling too low. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I highly recommend this hotel, the staff is very helpful and friendly. The beds and pillows were the best I’ve had in Europe so far. Everything is very clean and modern and the breakfast was amazing!!

I can’t recommend this property enough if you’re looking for a calm and tranquil place to stay just outside of Porto. Located about a 5 minute walk from the beach, Ocean Porto is a beautifully decorated and designed boutique hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are spacious, the continental breakfast is delicious with many healthy options, there’s coffee available 24/7, and best of all, there are several e-bikes and surfboards you can use during your stay. I took one of the e-bikes and road down the coast, almost reaching Porto. I had an amazing experience seeing beautiful vistas and viewing the city from a different perspective. A ride share will cost anywhere from 7-12 euros to get into the heart of Porto, and the price may vary depending upon rush hour. There are a decent number of small restaurants and shops nearby, so don’t forget to explore the surrounding city of Matosinhos.

My partner and I had a perfect stay at Ocean Porto Beach House. We stayed for 5 nights and wish we had stayed longer! The hotel is beautifully decorated inside with a beachy vibe. We loved the heated outdoor pool and the free use of surfboards/body boards/bikes! Our room and communal areas were spotlessly clean. The location of the hotel is great, it is just a 5 minute walk from the beach and the metro stop is just around the corner from the hotel. It takes just half an hour to get the metro into central Porto and the metro is super cheap. Ocean Porto Beach House is perfect for wanting to spend the days at the beach and the evenings in the city, we loved it!

This property was gorgeous and so unique. It felt like a home away from home. It’s decorated beautifully and immaculately clean. The breakfast in the morning was a nice touch. Ivo was very helpful and communicative during our stay. We wished we stayed longer.

The most amazing spot to stay. Breakfast is very comprehensive, it is a 5 min walk to the beach and a 20 min tram ride from out front into Porto. The beds are comfortable and the space itself is modern and immaculately clean. We absolutely loved the outside space and jacuzzi pool which are set in a real sun trap. Ivo is very accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend and will be returning!

A five start service. The property is located in a town by the beach 20 minutes from Porto. Breakfast is served fresh everyday. Metro runs in front of the hotel so convenient to go to Porto. Buses and taxis all around. Super safe area and great restaurants for seafood. The owner and the lady that runs the Maintenance of the property are beyond helpful and kind. The hotel offers bikes that we use to explore the town. I can’t wait to come back to this hotel with my whole family

This is a lovely little guest house in an out of the way spot, around 30mins out of Porto by tram. If you’re looking for a relaxing location very close to the beach then you’ve found it! The pool is excellent, breakfast is very nice and the staff are very helpful.

We had a great time at this hotel. Ivo and his staff were extremely welcoming and the hotel had a ton of attention to detail. With breakfast included every morning, as well as the bikes and pool for some relaxation, made it very easy to plan our time. Would definitely recommend!

We've enjoyed the little hotel near the beach with the splendid inner courtyard with jacuzzi every day. Very friendly staff, very nice breakfast and easy access to go downtown. Uber is cheap in Porto as well. Will certainly come back whenever we ware in Porto, again.

Real modern design and the owner Ivo is a first-class conversationalist. They even have bikes, wet suits, and surfboards!

We had a wonderful four night stay! The owners and staff were kind and helpful. We loved the pool- half pool/ half hot tub. We walked to the beach and shopped! This property is an absolute gem!

A modern, clean and eco friendly place about 10 minute walk from the beach and a couple of minutes from the tram that goes direct into Porto centre. We had a lovely room decorated in a beachy style, and a good breakfast every morning too.

The Ocean Porto Beach House only recently opened and the facilities are excellent. The room was very nice, bed was comfortable, towels were super soft and the breakfast a great way to start our day. The host, Ino, was available to make sure everything was meeting our expectations and had good suggestions for food and activities. A special surprise was when he shared that they had bikes available for the guests, so we rode down to the beach (a few blocks away) and enjoyed the bike trail along the shore. We will definitely be recommending this as a place to stay to any friends considering a stay in Porto.

it's a brand new rebuild of an old building. modern, tastefully done, very clean, with care for the environment. the hotel offers bikes and surfboards wetsuits for those who want to get around the neighborhood or surf. there are lots of great fish restaurants nearby, beach is only a couple blocks away. and easy walk from metro stop. staff are very friendly and helpful. i thoroughly enjoyed my stay, highly recommended!

Cet hôtel est idéalement situé en centre ville, a 5 min de la plage; parking (un peu cher) juste en face. Le personnel est très accueillant et aux petits soins. Derrière l’immeuble une jolie petite terrasse avec piscine chauffée. Bon petit déjeuner. Chambres refaites, très bon lits. Belle adresse et rapport qualité prix très bon.

Ocean Porto Beach House ist eine superschöne Unterkunft. Alles ist noch fast neu und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Personal und der Besitzer sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Fahrräder und Surf-/Longboards werden kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt. Für uns war die Lage perfekt, weil wir uns Porto anschauen wollten, aber auch den Touristenmassen entfliehen konnten.

The beach house is near by the beach and to the good restaurants. It is also "The house is located near the beach and good seafood restaurants. The room and bathroom were lovely and air-conditioned, with more than enough options at the breakfast buffet.There is no closet available in the guest room, only a clothes rack. Daily room service was available upon request. The on-site staff were very accommodating and responsive, both in person and via WhatsApp. In the garden, there's a heated whirlpool available for guests to enjoy at any time. Guests can also borrow bicycles from the beach house, and public transportation stops for the bus and metro are conveniently close by. Additionally, there's a metro line passing directly by the house. For a stay of a few days, I would book it again anytime ...
