Antonio Gomez is hands down one of the best bartenders we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting! During our stay at Ocean Blue and Sand Punta Cana, Antonio went above and beyond to make our vacation truly unforgettable. Not only was he incredibly skilled at making amazing drinks, but his friendly and attentive service made us feel like VIPs the entire time. He always had a warm smile, remembered our preferences, and went out of his way to ensure we were happy and satisfied. Antonio truly embodies exceptional hospitality, and we are so grateful for his outstanding service. I loved the steak house and the quick access to the beach. What I don’t like was the pool and the Jacuzzi were ice cold and I mean to the point where my daughter loved the island sick. Also, there aren’t enough activities for me at this resort. Everything is centered around the pool and unfortunately, the pool is never warm. We also had a hard time getting dinner reservations, even though we had the concierge service. That was extremely frustrating. I have stayed at the resort in Jamaica that is owned by the same hotel brand and the experience was completely different

Wonderful staff and safe and clean property

Blue Ocean & Sands was amazing! The amount of entertainment is worth the cost of admission. We booked through Expedia to save a couple hundred dollars on our 6-day stay! Checking in was a breeze, and with your room key crimped on your wrist, you didn't need to bring anything with you the entire stay! The number of restaurants and with changing menus was an added bonus. We had an excursion concierge, Alfredo, reach out to assist in booking 2 excursions. Booking was done in the main lobby and was super easy. The only annoying thing about our stay was trying to get lounge chairs by the pool or beach. Overall, our stay was amazing! We would definitely stay here again!

1. Privilege = Fantasía, no existe diferencia obvia. No existe ningún control sobre los que lo han pagado o no. Las áreas Privilege están llenos con gente ajena. 2. Excesiva reservación de litreras - posiblemente por parte de los empleados ya que no hay libres a las 08:00 o 08:30 am. 3. Atención deficiente a menudo en la sección Privilege de la Villa Marina con esperas largas para la atención del cafetero y los mismos mozos a veces - aunque habían algunos muy buenos. 4. Reservaciones para la Gala Navideña era una farsa y todo el mundo ofrecía distintas instrucciones y horarios. 5.El Rest. Francés - la recepción sumamente ruda al negar sandalias para los hombres, a pesar de estar vestido elegantemente, pero las permitía para las mujeres, o sea una discriminación abierta e innecesaria Pero aún, pero era el mal trato! 6. Las reservas para los demás restaurantes estaban medio confusas. 7. Las tiendas muy caras - $usd 13 por una cajetilla de 20 cigarillos - demasiado alto el precio!! 8. En general, los empleados muy agradables y colaboradores, muy amables, pero no en todos los casos.

This property is not handicapped accessible for the most part and made it very hard to enjoy my stay. The girl at check in did not explain anything to us or help us at all-we didn't even get a welded packet for the 2nd room or a card for pool towels which we found about our last day. Food and drinks are not 24 hours which left us hungry a lot of the time.

Beautiful property but if you need a little excersize, the tennis courts need alot of love and should be updated with pickleball options

It was really difficult to get a reservation at the two nicer restaurants. We never ate at one the whole time we were there. The online tool was not working to make the reservation, so there you go. The pool and beach longer situation was not good. Basically, you had to wake up every day before 7 am walk down and reserve a lounger. If you did not do this there were no loungers left and no where to find a seat or shade. We paid a lot of money to have to wake up early everyday and try to reserve seats and restaurants. The special breakfast on day one was basically a new version of a time share pitch that wasted our time so avoid this if you go. Other than that the other food options were decent but nothing special. The workers were very nice and worked extremely hard to make it pleasant. The beach was clean and very beautiful but not good for snorkeling during this time. We had a great time just relaxing and enjoying the other facilities. The shows were fun and the property had a lot of events.

What I dislike is you have to wake up at 6:30a-7a to claim a chair by the pool or beach or you won't find any later until people leave for lunch which is around 3-4p. They should have enough chairs for all guests

Food wasn’t good and not many options to choose from. Staff more interested on selling membership, made us waste time and turned unfriendly after we refused it. Bad smell after room service cleaned the bathroom.

It was a nice cozy property with clean rooms and decent food. Beach was nice and swimming pools were clean. The only thing we did not like is an old tennis court.

Everything was better than what we expected. Buffet foods and restaurants were all great. Thanksgiving to Expedia we had a staff who helped us with our reservations and we tried steakhouse, Italian, French and Japanese restaurants and enjoyed them all. We also spent quite some time in their cafe that served lovely drinks.

The property is pretty old. Food is not great for an all inclusive. Night dining is very bad. Not even good ice cream choices. Only 2 fine dining places and very hard to get booking. Most of the good places are privilege. Only bad drink options if you are not in privilege option. Even privilege option does not have good drinks. No adequate chairs in beach area or pools. Highlight is easy walk to beach and a great beach. Small property so everything is near by.

Need reservations for all good restaurants and they were always overbooked, only could eat at the buffet which became really boring

Only 20 minutes from the airport, very good staff, beach chair management could be better, more canopies on the beach ciuld be a plus.

This resort is worth every penny! I went with my young adult children and we had a blast. I saw families with all sorts of age ranges and there is so much for everyone to do. The staff everywhere is friendly and courteous and full of energy! The never ending food and drink is worth it as well and you have other options if you’d like something for a fancy night!

We was in Ocean blue fron the 23-26 the 24 the food was excelente beside other day was old food and really bad I get sick with poison food for severed days the hygiene in the room was bad, everywhere you move was bad consumer serviste and the beach resraurant the table Wasn’t clean nobody was there not employ to clean table or give you spoon or fork or drink, nothing. for me and my family was a horrible place with bad costumbre serviste and bad food

The staff was amazing. The property was very clean and everyone welcomed us with a smile and a friendly wave or good morning. The beach was very nice. The pool and activities were excellent. Blue Crew was friendly and fun. Our room was simple yet practical and worked great for us. Food was really good. Their reservation process worked well and make sure you go through Derlin. He was very helpful with reservations and checkout. We would highly recommend this property for all families.

Service was not good. Hard to find anyone to help with anything. Even in dining. Tables were dirty. Servers nowhere to be found.

The property was decent. Dining was not 24/7, and night service for room service was limited with a charge! They only give you 4 bottles of water a day in your room. Never received any wash cloths just towels! The beds were hard and there is a slight mildew smell in the rooms.

Everyone was so pleasant! I can’t say enough good things about this staff! Every day at every location the staff was attentive, nice and helpful! The rooms and grounds were always clean! The food options were great! The buffet had a variety of foods to try and they also had several other restaurants you could visit as well. The ONLY complaint was the water in the rooms barely got hot and the food in the buffet was room temperature. That is my only complaint! I would definitely visit this hotel again! They had tons of family friendly events as well as events for adults. 10/10!

I was apprehensive at first but i was wowed, great place, would go again.

Our stay at this property was good. There is area for opportunity when it comes to the rooms some parts looked very old and outdated. The AC would just stay at a certain temperature wouldn’t really run colder when you would put it down. The food isn’t the best but I feel like thats every resort. The beach at the resort was beautiful and the resort itself in general was nice. Overall the staff were very friendly and attentive. Didn’t have no problems while I was there. I would recommend this resort to friends and family.

Amazing resort!

I have been to the Dominican Republic 5 times and this is the first time that I want to return to the same resort next time I visit. This resort it’s amazing. The food is spectacular and the staff is great. I loved it here. And the coffee shop is a must.

This has been our second time to this property and will most certainly come back for a third. The staff is always welcoming and gracious. The amenities are plentiful. There's food options are spectacular. Definitely good recommendation.

Room are spacious and perfectly KLEAN all the time, OMG THE STAFFS ARE AMAZING WELL TRAINED KUDO FOR THE MANAGEMENT

The staff at the restaurants were pretty rude. At several restaurants we had to reorder the same stuff 3-5 times because they never brought out what we ordered. At the steak restaurant, my friend is allergic to mushrooms and specifically told the staff no mushrooms for the sides, and everyones plate they gave us mushrooms even though NONE of us ordered mushrooms. We couldn't walk around the hotel comfortably without being solicited to purchase stuff we didn't care for.

Quiet and clean

I had a staple in my bread at one of their restaurants

I didn’t like, because they almost force you to get a package similar to timeshare, annoying. They tell you that you will have a welcome breakfast and you will get a souvenir or gift after the presents that last at least 1 hour and they got upset if you don’t get the package

Everyone was great check in was smooth and easy. My concierge was awesome (Derlin) he went above and beyond. The golf cart driver Christopher was awesome as well. The only thing that I didn't like is that they keep bothering you for the time share stuff which is really annoying we are on vacation no one wants to be bothered...

This is second time I and husband went for my birthday we had better experience then last year much better I will said excellent the only disappointment was casino so sad to see they only had like 6 slots they should close casino not offering at all. Restaurant ala carta excellent went to all only one didn’t was steak house was close coffee shop all day until 11:pm Buffet near lobby much better them beach was ok not for me Nice lobby party’s and singing and karaoke and dancing did better then I expected Room was excellent and clean every day mini bar so so they can do better then 2 beer I will go back anytime after good experience give hotel 4.7star

The beach is great (although there's a fair amount of seaweed, which they rake away each morning). Pools are good - jacuzzi is nice, but not very hot at all. All the restaurants we tried were pretty good - Mike's coffee house is excellent. Best things about the resort were the people and the animals who live there (hi Pinky the flamingo!).

This is a beautiful resort property. I love the set up of this property. The environment is so relaxing and enjoyable. The food was pleasing and had a wide variety of selection. The only negative is that you have to get up by 7:30a to go make reservation for restaurants. I wish they had a better way to do that. The room was very spacious but I think we had a moisture issue in our 1st floor room. Next time I would recommend a room not on the 1st floor. But overall our stay was great.

Llevo 9 años visitando este hotel y en los ultimos 4 años 2 veces al año. Esta vez fui a celebrar mi cumpleaños y a la verdad que la pase súper. Donde me recibio mi Mayordomo Thomas Newton por 2 vez el cual miy amablemente me escolto hasta la habitacion donde tenian un letrero de Happy Birthay en la puerta y Mi Nombre en globos en la habitación. Quiero dar las gracias a todo el personal del Hotel por ser tan amables en atenderme en especial. A los Supervisores Wlliam, Montero , Nilson ,Jovanie, Santa que siempre estuvieron pendiente que estuviera pasando una excelente semana . También quiero agradecerle a Moreta, Antonio, Chelo en la barra de la playa Brutalllll siempre atentos. En las Piscina a Bienvenido, Johan y Joneiri. The pools and beach were beautiful. The rooms were very nice. The staff were all great except for guest services. They were often not friendly nor helpful. The food at the steakhouse and Japanese steakhouse was very good. Everywhere else was just OK. All in all, we had a great time.

Beautiful property with excellent service. They are a variety of restaurants and plenty of bars. We never had to wait for anything and there was plenty to occupy us each day.

La estadía estuvo perfecta, la comida muy rica el hotel muy bonito y limpio. Pero te quieren vender una membresía sin decirte que es exactamente y quitándote tiempo de tus vacaciones. Vas en plan de descanso y terminas toda una mañana con un vendedor ofreciéndote un paquete de viajes. Y cuando les dices que no se enojan contigo. Deberían ser claros desde el principio con esa informacion.

The resort was so much fun! Ezequiel helped me Organize a birthday surprise in the room which came out amazing! The food was delicious especially the steak house! There was always something to do at all sorts of hours. The entertainment was so fun! Shaggy was awesome. The only complaint was insect bites that I received. Im not sure if they were bed bugs but they are defenitly not mosquito bites.

This was a great vacation spot. The property and rooms were wonderful. Beautiful grounds, kept clean and neat. Shuttle around the property was such a great service. The pools were amazing! Bartenders were great and very accommodating. The "Blue Crew" always kept the fun going around the pool or beachside. Nightly entertainment was great. I will absolutely be back!

Everyone at Ocean Blue was amazing. Lenny and Enrique were the best!! We love them. Aracelis was the sweetest. We had a great time. The food was delicious at the buffet especially. We ate the tres golpes combo every single day, and had coffee from Mike's which was so good! Everyone was so friendly. We'll definitely be coming back! We got the honeymoon suite which came with privilege services which was a plus. Hibachi was the best ala carte restaurant!

Overall ok. The first night, We had AC issue but it was fixed next day. Beach was good. 3rd night, music from beach was too loud until late night. Food was average.

Awesome experience and beautiful resort but the food is not four star. Perfect place to enjoy an above average pool and beach with unlimited drinks. Too many private vendors are allowed on the property too
