Great, clean and tidy.

Great friendly service. The parking was great, and very good service with airport shuttle! Great value but this is reflected in the room being a bit dated. Definitely staying again.

We have stayed many times, very convenient to airport. Offers transport to drop off and pickup. Safe to leave car while away

Oakwood Manor was close to the airport and included a free shuttle in the price. It was convenient for getting to the airport in the morning.

The place is not bad but,simple things like milk coffee and tea,only allows for 1 cup each. Considering an early cheack in at 2pm leaves a lengthy period between drinks of the sought, it would be nice to have these little things catered for. All in all it is not $122 worth

Staff were great. Really friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic but clean and functional. Onsite parking was easy. Wifi worked on first night but was intermittent and no internet access for 2 days. Previous comments show same issue. Only downside to what is a very good, cost effective motel.

why is there only transport on the hour. can get a little noisy otherwise good stop off before catching a flight

The room was clean and roomy, just the windows needed cleaning. Easy transfer to airport, and to be able to leave my car there was a bonus.

The place is tidy and clean. However, you can hear a lot of noise on the hall & when they shut the door next to your room. It would be good in future to have a better wall insulation to minimise the noise. Additionally, to have a mosquito spray available for the guest in the room to reduce being bitten by a mosquito. Thank you.

Adequate for an overnight stay before flights with free airport shuttle transfers. Staff were very accommodating. Only concern was the large amount of mosquitos coming from the bathroom during our stay in a Studio unit.

Did the job for our short stay. Could do with some renovations, very tired and dated inside. Wifi did not reach the rooms.

Never again. Happy with a motel, but this one was outdated and old. Mold on the walls. Mosquitos in the place. No fly screens or insect spray. Smells bad everywhere. Door didn't lock properly. Not safe for families. No air con and very very run down.

Close to the airport which was convenient but limited eating options nearby

Staff was very nice just the big cockroaches everywhere had to wait for checkin as room wasnt ready.

Rooms smelled like bleach, beds uncomfortable. Rooms had zero basics like a toaster or cutlery. Rotton walls in the bathroom. We booked and paid for 2 rooms for 2 nights. We didn't even sleep there 1 night. Ended up paying for nicer accommodation in town. 3 star rating is too high. Shoul be a 1 star at best.

A good location close to the airport. Airport shuttle adds on the convenience. Room is big enough, despite some old furniture. A good stay overall.

Great property

Excellent place to stay

The driver of the free shuttle service was accommodating and friendly, and the pool was well worth it. There is a supermarket about 15-20 minutes walk away. We could use the pool and guest room area after check-out, while we waited for our later shuttle. The receptionists were less accommodating (the check-in service was not memorable. You cannot get towels once you check out). There were a lot of old cigarette butts on the ground and random pieces of rubbish flying around the parking lot at the back of our room. The hinges on the windows were either nailed shut or broken.

The staff were friendly and nice, and the room was pretty clean - but the fan didn’t work properly and one of the window locks was broken, which is not ideal - especially on the ground floor. No bin for recyclables and the door closers were not calibrated which meant that doors slammed all night when people came in from their flights. Plus the lack of soundproofing meant I could hear someone coughing three doors down! The bed was comfortable though and the shuttle service to the airport was great.

Very clean and well equipped accommodation. Would suggest they provide tea towels or paper towel roll to wipe the dishes otherwise a great place to stay on way to or from the airport.

Nice place to stay. As we were away from motel early and back later, it would of been good if laundry facilities were kept open.

Lovely friendly staff, excellent room for a great price! Kids loved the pool and the airport shuttle was really handy.

The whole complex was in need of renovating. Noisy corridor. bathroom smelt badly. Shuttle arrangements left a lot to be desired

I'd prefer the tv to be in middle wall for easy viewing instead of it being in an odd place and very low as well. And plss have an iron available in the rooms as well.Other than that, i enjoyed my stay. Thank you and God Bless Oakwood motel.

Great friendly staff at reception

This is not a 5 star hotel yet it is very clean. Beds comfy and we had the 3 bedroom apartment that slept 10 and was perfect for attending a concert as a quick uber ride.

This was a low budget option with the convenience of a free shuttle. Served its purpose, and expectations were met. No information in the room about the facilities or nearby amenities. Lots of info at reception. Outdated room access (old-style domestic doorknob with key) was a little problematic to open and didn't inspire confidence. Security was firmly in the hands of the slide chain. Shuttle was on time and reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Great staff and very convenient to be able to leave the car there while we were away. Shuttle service was great. Our only dislike was the bed. The mattress had been in service too long and was not comfortable.

Recommended stay and staff are friendly

The property has emergency housing living there. We checked in at 2:15 and couldn’t get to our room as cars out side were not even parked in spaces just all over the place blocking the car park. Walked to room to find lock was damaged on the front sliding door and inside has chips and rubbish all over the floor. Then the room attendant appeared in the room and said it needed to be cleaned. So waited another hour for that. Room was generally pretty tidy but very dated and in much need of general repairs. As soon as it got dark there was some pretty unsavoury characters walking around the complex which put us on edge when they are hanging around the back of your room. Beds were comfy. Got al call at 9:30 as we were about to leave to remind us check out was at 10am. Won’t be staying there again and would not recommend.

we checked in around 7pm reception was still there, he guided us to room. Room was with three beds kitchen and bathroom. All clean, new and very well maintained! Thank you

8 of us had an early morning flight so the 3 bedroom apartment was perfect. The shuttle service is great too.

I’ve stayed here before & will continue to do so when needed, as it’s great value for money, especially with the airport transfers. The rooms are always clean & tidy, very quiet & are a good size.

Suited my needs.

Perfect place to stay if you're catching an early flight. Runs shuttles every hour to the airport so do get disturbed frequently with people going up and down the halls.

Next to no information on how to get into the room, there's a whole front door, and the key was meant for a back door? And after finishing the warriors game, I used key to try get into room, couldn't, was informed by owner next day "bang on neighbours door" went in by 8am for a shower after getting owner to let me in a room I paid for and they had already cleaned my room out and signed me out. I spent $128 on a bed I didn't even get to sleep in, no compensation, no refund, no apology DISGUSTING

The property was cleaned daily and the housekeeping staff were so lovely warm friendly and they made our stay so much more lovely.

Had room we needed, chair cushions and long pew cushions, dirty and table needs refinished due to sticky poly, bathroom door is not quite big enough to cover entire entrance if locked.

Loved the convenience to the airport and knowing our car was safe while we are away. However the room are a bit old and tired (but clean) We would have liked access to a microwave.

First my check in was at 2.i.travelled from napier ,went to.check in.at 2.30pm.was told.at reception that the room was not ready.the room was given at 3.30.was not happy .bathroom has no door.especially we were 4 of us.need some privacy.

Beds are not that comfortable and no rubbish bin, the price they asked for that much facilities is too much, overall not recommended to anyone sorry

The person I spoke to to arrange the airport pickup was incredibly abrupt and rude. I was on time and in the right place and.the service was bare minimum.

Our room (140) had a lot of mold or mildew on the ceiling of the shower and it smelled horrible throughout. We should have asked for a different room, but we were exhausted. There's nowhere to eat close by. The staff was very nice and their airport shuttle service was prompt and able to transport all 10 of us and our luggage. That was the best part of our stay.

The room was cold on arrival. The property had declined since our last visit. Staff were very pleasant.

Perfect for transiting overnight, close to airport and great shuttle service to and from property to airport. Even managed to do a load of washing before flying home.

Locality to airport was excellent. Room was ok but bed so very low to the floor and not that comfortable. Very noisy. Shuttle was only on the hour which is not that convenient Parking option was very handy.

Not having a car park

Convenient to airport and shuttle service. Value for for money interns of leaving your vehicle for 14 days. Unfortunately had mistaken phone call from the office (walking me up) in the middle of the night. Further other patterns were noisy throughout the night, walking and yahooing at 2am.

Like the pool and relaxing here
