My husband and I stayed at NUO for 2 weeks in Dec., it was a wonderful experience.

Good but not Excellent

Check in Experience was not great. Processed, no info about hotel etc given (we only found out later thst both bar and japanese restaurant were closed) and while suitcases were brought up for guests next to us this was not offered to us. Room itself was nice and spacious. Pool and Gym were nice as well

Exceeded my expectations. The best time I've had in any hotel.

The only recommendation is that breakfast is commercial not so good.

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice now—the staff is always amazing and so so helpful. The facilities are beautiful and so is the room. Will definitely be staying at this hotel every time I’m in Beijing.

Nuo Hotel Beijing was amazing! Upon arrival, they upgraded our room since it was our anniversary combined with a business trip. The housekeeping staff even brought a fruit platter and fresh cut roses to decorate the room! The room was well-appointed and beautiful and the lobby was stunning. Amazing pool and gym were added treat. What made our stay even more special was the hotel staff. Especially LuLu at the concierge was so amazing in every possible way. She really displayed Chinese hospitality with grace and professionalism. Just because of all the amazing and attentive service we receive from LuLu and other hotel staff, we would definitely stay at Nuo hotel every time we visit Beijing. Thank you so much for making our anniversary stay so memorable!

The staff is very nice. The hotel is in a great location, very clean, and great amenities. The room was spacious, clean, nice and stylish. The bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed my stay here.

For the price, this hotel is well worth it. 10/10 would come back and recommend

Beautiful property but unfortunately the non-smoking policy is not reinforced consistently. My room had a strong cigarette smell which did not go away in the time I was there (2 nights). I arrived past midnight and was too tired to request another room.

Fantastic hotel, everything a person can ask for. Pool was incredible, gym phenomenal, breakfast impeccable.

Beautiful hotel in Beijing. Great room. A bit out of the center of things but otherwise wonderful. About a 10-15 minute walk to subway from which rest of Beijing is easily accessible. Traffic can be horrendous so the distance could be a bit of an issue for some but I was fine with it and the hotel was really very nice with great service.

Lobby setting is grand. High ceiling decorated with art pieces. The tea set and tea leaves in the room is an added pleasure. The bath tub by the window gave a soothing moment.

Not great but overall good stay. Hotel was awesome staff not very hospitable.

Good, very nice Hotel but the staff dont speak enough good english

Everything was excellent. The service was impeccable, the food delicious and fresh and the rooms were clean, comfortable and impressive. Frank, the customer relations manager spoiled me, i wanted for nothing as he anticipated my every desire.

Very thoughtful that they have plastic bags for used soap. I took them home for re use. I didn’t like the fact that we ordered extra blankets in three separate occasions and they brought us blankets without covers. Worst part, they were stained, with hair and dirty. I had to return the house keeping man away two times to bring clean ones and have him put covers on every single time. Hope can you bring dirty blankets without covers? Is this a standard? Gym was excellent . Great machines. Great equipment

Luxury at its very best in a lovely residential area of Beijing.

Overall is good but the breakfast buffet is not worthy at all.

On the cusp of being a very nice place to stay, however their is a significant language barrier for American travelers and they need to hire more people that are bilingual.

This is the second time I have stayed here and I am never disappointed, I always get a lovely room, the bed is so comfortable and after sleeping on hard beds in the past, I just wanted to stay in that nice comfy bed. the room is immaculate and the staff are very helpful.

Great hotel for western visitors

Amazing hotel, stayed here 3 nights and the stay was nothing but perfect. The room was clean and very nice. Amazing shower. Bed comfy and their breakfast is spectacular. Highly recommend!

Outstanding

A pleasure surprise. If you are leaving for the airport the day after or you don’t mind the area not too close to downtown, you could definitely check it out. Tried several hotels of the same price range, this one is much better in terms of value and comfort.

Spacious room and closet. Well designed bathroom. 4 years old hotel. Plenty of shops around the building. Inside a quiet street so harder to catch a cab but concierge can call in taxi. Breakfast buffet is excellent. It is actually not that close to 798 Arts District so you will need to take a cab there.

Modern warmth

Stay was quite wonderful. Loved the look and feel of the space. Warm minimalist modern Asian tones. Room was modern but not cold. Loved breakfast buffet and executive lounge had incredible views, service and food. Nice gym. Pool was closed for renovation.

Another great stay

This is an amazing hotel. The rooms are excellent, but more importantly the staff and service are second to non. Loving staying here and although more expensive than some hotels in the are, it provides true value for money. Fully recommend it.

Amazing hotel! Everything was beyond expectations. Smooth check in, friendly staff, room is modern and sleek with a twist of Chinese. Big thumbs up for the Nespresso coffee and Bose speakers in the room. Would def go back.

Amazing hotel walking distance from 798 Art District. Beautiful design - the top of Chinese luxury. Spacious room with all the extras you can imagine. Best breakfast ever.

Absolutely gorgeous rooms and great proximity to the 798 art district. I'm not exactly sure why you would stay here though, unless you only want to go to 798 (which we did). It's far from the city center. The hotel also seems very new - it's a Chinese five star hotel, not a western five star hotel, and I get the sense it's still trying to prove itself. Beautiful interior design, but feels a bit empty. I didn't try the food or use the pool (which was closed until February 19).

- Lack of flexibility when it came to check out timing - Staff did not understand the promotional offer with expedia and had to dispute with customers

The Hotel is in the Artist district with a walkable restaurant selection. It is really a top 5 star Hotel. Staff is professional and friendly, rooms are spacious and luxurious.

I have stayed in dozens of hotels in China. I’m pretty sure that this one is THE BEST. I was here for business, so I can’t comment on the area. Such attention to detail... hotel design to level of service.

This is a 6 star hotel in Beijing for $160 per night. Worth every penny.

Environmentally conscious hotel

Hotel was indeed 5 star!! Reception staffs were very helpful. Great stay and pleasantly surprised no shopping arcade. Was not able to check other hotel services because we had soooo little time. Was also pleased that request to cooperate to help preserve the environment was observed like no need to change towels if kept in the towel rock which we did and also placing the notice about no need to change bed linens. Keep it up.

Hotel is definitely top class with delicately designed details everywhere, including intelligent lights, curtains, TV. I especially like Nuo for its excellent balance of Chinese culture with top class comforts. The last mile traffic around the hotel is the only concern since it can be very slow. I have stayed here three times now and would love to come back again.

A lavish hotel with spacious, clean and well appointed room. There is not much to do around the hotel, as the location is not so central. Nevertheless, it is a good experience and value for money.

EXCELLENT!

Excellent hotel with wonderful staff and quality finishes. The Sunday brunch in N'Joy restaurant is a must, followed by one of Attila's infusions in the O'Bar. The NUO is a cut above the rest and is definitely a 5-star establishment.

Magnificent Luxury Hotel

We enjoyed 3 days of relaxation at Nuo, working out in the gym, swimming (you might need a cap,) admiring the fabulous art, dining and enjoying the comfort of at the spacious room..

Lido favorite

We often stay in the Lido area, but this was our first time at NUO. We will come back. Value for money is excellent; it is an artistic Western luxury hotel with Chinese characteristics. Fitness and pool area are top notch. Two bars and excellent food. Espresso machines in our room. They have thought of everything. I'm impressed.

Always a Pleasure

Stayed the evening before traveling back to America for the holidays. Enjoyed all aspects of my stay . Would highly recommend this hotel. Brunch is out of this world

Very nice room, able to decorate room, very clean, luxury lobby, nice bathtub with good amenities, staff at mid night shift wasnt well train as they dont know whats gold vip+, but still our room nicely done.

This is the most beautiful hotel I have been. I think that when they made their rooms, they thought about the minimum details that could WOW their guests. Aside from that, the hotel has a wonderful team of staff to make your journey in Beijing easy and pleasurable. Daniel and Oscar, at the concierge desk, are prepared to help you with anything - even chase the closest Holiland store which i recommend you to go to eat the best egg tart ever! I can't wait to go back to Beijing and stay at NUO again. What a perfect place to stay !!! :)
