This was one of the better hostels I’ve stayed in. It was clean, fresh and the communication through WhatsApp made everything super simple. It was close enough to everything to explore. It was great.

Check in went well but room was extremely small, especially the bathroom. The breakfast in a box was awful for the cost.

I love staying at Numa properties! This one in particular is rather small. I couldn’t even open my large suitcase in the room. And the shower head did not work properly. Other than that, it is a great option to stay at!

It is expensive in correspondance with facilitiesand dimmensions but it is Madrid at the touristic area. Nice stay

We had a lovely stay. The only problem we've experienced was a lack of hot water in the morning but the issue was addressed smoothly.

We booked what the hotel had been calling a double room, that is, until we arrived, after which they started to refer to it as a tiny room. The reason being; the double room was absolutely tiny and not at all like the pictures on their advertising. However, this was not the main reason why we didn’t stay: the hotel knew ahead of time that the air-conditioning was not working but did not bother to inform us. The temperature in Madrid on our arrival was in the 30s and being in a tiny room without air-conditioning was impossible. Fortunately, Expedia were able to sort us out with an alternative, although the hotel were unable to help, especially as there is no reception desk at the property. Not a good experience.

Advertisement shows air condition in rooms. Aircon clearly don’t work and haven't worked for quite some time. Communicate with Numa to their response “We know we are having issues with the aircond in several rooms”. Maybe tell this to us before we arrive as it averages 28-30 degrees in the room at all times. Rooms fairly clean but condition bathroom was pretty worn.

2 hours wait due to check in issues

The stay was good but the communication regarding the check was very poor. I did not get my check in link at all initially. I had to call them up when I reached the hotel and ask for the check in link. I had to wait for 2 hours at the main gate to check in as the link they sent did not work at all.

The property was clean, soaps and lotions were provided, the digital communication worked well, and it is in a good area. They also had a good suggestion for a ride to the airport, which we used. I recognize this is a Pension, but the three-star rating is because the room is very small, and the rates are way overpriced: over $300.00 for a Saturday night. After getting there, I realized that a 4-star hotel, Villa Real, 150 meters from the location, had true 4-star rooms and services for about the same price. We won't use this brand again, due to such small room sizes and overpricing.

Road and building under construction. Very noisy. Very noisy all the time since rooms are not sound proof. You hear doors closing and other travelers using the public kitchen. There is no lobby. Place runs like an overpriced hostel. Great location. Nice bed. Shower way too cramped

Nice location- loved view out our window. Good coffee shop next door.

What I didn't like about the property is that although there is a window in your room, it looked out into another window in the building directly across the way. However, the good part of this is at least this window opened and no noise to mention whatsoever during my stay. You can easily adapt after staying for a day. The accommodation was very clean including the breakfast common area; the breakfast choices and being able to select these ahead of check-in were most appreciated and well-represented along with the special morning postcard was a very nice touch; the hotel cleaning staff was most friendly as well as the property manager and her recently appointed new associate both helped me in opening my room safe just before checkout. Thank you again to both of you for being so helpful with getting this safe open so I could make my next connection on time. Martin :)

A Cheap, safe and well located clean and modern

Comfortable bed with black out shade. Good for a night but not much more. Shower pressure was low. Shower was so small you had to open the door to turn around. Check in was on WhatsApp. Kinda weird. Good location.

Everything was wonderful

This hotel is well located, close to the main landmarks and attractions. It was clean, they give some beers for free so that was nice. The breakfast I ordered was decent. I recommend this hotel for sure.

Positives: clean, conveniently located, cheap General: small space which for me was not an issue but might be for some Negatives: small shower which was an issue for me, no one on site to talk to (but then again, it is cheap) Essentially this place is like a average of a hostel and a hotel.

Clean. Provide dining room and kitchen. Get breakfast (payable). Welcome drink and snack.

More of a hostel, than a hotel

After a lot of mucking around, trying to call someone, just to get into the building, we finally got in and then discovered this is pretty much a hostel. Small common area and then small rooms off from there. We didn't end up staying because our room was right next to the entry level for everyone staying and we knew we'd have noise all night. Checking in (if you can call it that) was difficult but the biggest problem for us was the style of accommodation.

Very clean, quiet and safe. Definitely would stay there again and I would recommend it to others.

This property is in an excellent location, super clean and has everything you need. The only downside for me is that this is more of a hostel setting which I wasn't expecting. Total mistake on my part as I was expecting a Hotel. But it is a nice small room that was very clean, the bed was very comfy and it was right in the center. The staff communicated very well with checking in.

For this price you can get a real hotel

The check in is quite a hassle The rooms smelled weird and got quite warm at night (aircon didn't seem to work) They spent a bit too much time on making it look hip and a not enough time on making it comfortable. Would not recommend for business travel, felt like being in a hip hostel

Good basic solution

excellent central location close to all major sights.Small rooms are small...! But okay as solo traveller.

This was an incredible find. It was a beautiful room with everything you need to relax after a long day of exploring the city. It was close to so many wonderful spots and you could walk to multiple metro stations. It’s a beautiful area near a lot of restaurants. The only thing that was unexpected was the thinness of the walls. You will hear your neighbors above and next door. Other than that, it is an amazing place to stay.

Great find

This type of hotel is new to me - all digital interaction and situated on the 7th floor of a small commercial building. But it worked seamlessly for my needs. Perfect location near Atocha, museums, and the Center. My room and bath were small but modern, very comfortable, and very clean. Common area has kitchenware and appliances, and extra towels if needed. Will definitely stay here again.

The location of this hotel was perfect. I really enjoyed the proximity to all attractions. A lot of food places within a couple blocks.

The staff was very nice, and the location is perfect because many tourism attractions are within walking distance!

Loved my stay . Centrally located . Self check-in was easier than what I thought. The common area (kitchen and dinning tables) were prefect and cozy. Communication was smooth with the staff members. The cleaning staff were friendly and always asked if I needed help.

This is a great budget hotel. It’s clean and really well located, a walking distance to many locations in the center in a very low key area so it’s not crowded on that street. Would definitely stay again!

A few steps from the Cibeles Fountain, just 10 mins walk to Puerta del sol. Free welcome drinks, also beer.

Es un lugar muy acogedor, muy céntrico y eso hacía que yo estuviera muy cerca de los museos y lugares más visitados de Madrid. Volvería al lugar en otro viaje.

Terrible place

Very small room. Nobody speaks English. It is like a apartment with rooms. All rooms near the living space so if somebody talks you here everything from your room. Zero privacy. Noise from the entrance door all night. Terrible service from Numa support too

Es ist mehr ein Hostel mit Hotelpreisen. Keine Rezeption, kein Sicherheitspersonal, jegliche Kommunikation via WhatsApp oder Telefon. Meine Heizung und Fernseher gingen nicht. Wurde dann während meines Aufenthalts repariert.
