Literally at the expo so very convenient if attending conferences there. Nice view of the trouser building and jinji lake.

Good Location and Service! The Rest Left Wanting

The location was decent, right across from a boardwalk with a cat cafe and other cafes were nearby. They staff was prompt and services requested were prompt. However, the bedding (sheets and pillows) and supplied toiletries were of poor quality. The bedding was scratchy with uncomfortable pillows. The toiletries were cheap and left the skin dry and itchy. The price did not match expectations.

Pleasant enough , good location and good sized clean room . The lobby doesn’t really have much . Swimming pool is very nice , good size and nice lightning . Sauna was freezing cold . I would stay here again if wanted to be in that location

I’ll not stay at this Noveltel again

We stayed here for 3 nights, the checking receptionist was very cold and she had no smile to us, upon check out she only said “you are checked out”. The staffs are not trained to welcome you as a guest. The design and decoration are great, the bathroom smells bad, even with a glass door. all the bedding has a strong mildews smell. I don’t know if their housekeeper sanitize the toilet because it spreads the strong odor.

No issue with the hotel, everything was great. Room is spacious, the metro station entrance is just right next to the hotel. 5 to 8 mins walk to the Jin Ji Lake where you can enjoy great scenery, food and drinks.

WiFi is poor, Aircon is not cold and no breakfast is included in the package

Clean and good location, train station just next door. Good service, the front desk even prepare a surprise birthday cake during my stays!

The stay was comfortable and clean. I was there on a business trip, the location is very close to the downtown and the expo. Cool and calming walks at Jinji lake are also comfortable due to the hotel's proximity with the lake.

Stayed in Novotel during off peak period (no International Exhibition in adjacent part of same building), Excellent, quiet & peaceful. After checking out, the International Exhibition started & hotel restaurants, lobby became a lot more hectic & over crowded. On the whole, good facilities, Underground Station just beside the hotel (50 metres).

Nice hotel, typical Mainland operation model

Asked for a non-smoking room, was given a non-smoking room. But the residents on the same floor smoked in the room and the whole balcony was full of cigarette smell. We couldn't enjoy the balcony. Though the hotel suggested to change us to another room on the same floor, we refused as we had too many luggage and it should not be us who had to leave, but the one who violated the rules should.

It can be better

Everything is good except parking location is not clear after enquiry, toilet is not so good as water is stagnant after taking shower ... design flaw. So, bathroom is not so good condition with some black spots.

3 days in Suzhou

The hotel is alright, but it doesn't measure up to the usual Novotel standards. The room smelled of mold, and was very humid. The bed was very hard. The breakfast wasn't great, as there was only "machine" black coffee available. The cook cooked up a lot of eggs and bacon so it got cold.

Cozy room and a very nice balcony. Quiet place with nive scenery of the lake.

Stayed 5 nights and enjoyed every bit of it. Will come again.

Raining upon arrival and hotel service did not want me to park my car a certain way. reported this to the front desk. Front desk very busy and helped.

Check in and out too slow

Unbeatable location!

The location is unbeatable in Suzhou. The hotel is well maintained, modern and stylish. We will definitely stay there again... even though the bed was harder than expected for a western style hotel.

Everything you need is around this hotel. Less than a block to the Times Square Metro stop (Line 1) - then 2 stops in the Mudu direction to Suzhou Centre or 1 stop to Moon Harbour.

Good Hotel with very very close to MRT

Not near to any shopping mall. But very close to MRT station which can easily bring you to shopping area. Nothing cheap/simple food to eat nearby, except several expensive restaurants at the "Moon Harbor".

Enjoyed my stay. Better (larger) signage outside the hotel would make it easier to find the entrance!

Overall good experience. Very neat and new Couldn't exchange any currency there though. There said their hotel don't exchange different currencies.

Great stay in Suzhou

I was really impressed with the Novotel. Every person I met was extremely helpful and friendly. The entire hotel was immaculate - by far the cleanest hotel I've seen. This was my first trip to China, so maybe that's normal for the area, but it stood out to me. The room was larger than I expected and the king size bed was huge, bigger than a U.S. bed, and over seven feet wide.The bathroom was very nice too, with a large shower and vanity, and a separate toilet room, all framed in marble. I had a lake view room on the 6th floor. I got breakfast included in my rate and I'm glad I did. It was a huge buffet offering a great mix of European, American, and local choices, plus juices and coffee. The hotel is located in a nice part of Suzhou close to shopping and restaurants. It is also adjacent to the subway station, which could not have been more convenient. I took the subway for 3 RMB ($0.50 US) to the Pingjiang Road district. It was very clean, well-lit, and safe. The parking garage was also well-lit, in contrast to so many other garages. The only problem I had during my stay was that the air conditioning didn't seem to work at all, even after a visit from maintenance. The weather wasn't that warm so it was okay, but I would have slept better if it had been cooler in my room. Overall I recommend this hotel and I look forward to staying again on my next visit.

Amazing Stay!

We were celebrating a birthday and the hotel went above and beyond with a lovely room. In addition, the manager on duty over the March 5th weekend provided a cake with a bottle of wine. It was truly a wonderful expereince. We would highly recommend. Comfy rooms, and great English speaking staff!

Good hotel at good price.

It is a very comfortable hotel with good amenities. There are specific smoking and non-smoking floors, which makes the environment for us to be pleasant. Breakfast buffet is good. The subway station is right next to the hotel and 8 minutes walk take you to a good designated shopping area. Worth the stay.

I chose this hotel because of the pool, which looked like it had steps going in. It really doesn't. The ladders were a little weird. Even my friend was afraid to use them for fear of getting hurt. I didn't use them, so I had to hop out. The beds were super comfortable. Everything was nice and clean. The people were nice and helpful, though I was misinformed when I called before I arrived. I had to argue a little more than I really find acceptable due to the misinformation, but at least they did accommodate me in the end. It put a bit of stress on the whole trip, but that's life. I seriously loved the pillows. I wish I knew what kind they were because I'd love to buy some for myself.

Great location in Suzhou

It's very close to the Times Square area and Jinji Lake. You can walk to so many bars, restaurants and stores. The lobby is beautifully decorated. I did not want to get out of the bed it was so comfortable. The map on Hotels.com was a little off. This hotel is just outside Exit 3 of the subway stop (Culture Exhibition Centre, Line 1). It is at the intersection of Suzhou Avenue E and Guangfeng St.

Reasonably priced

Most suitable for golfers and those who just want to spend time doing nothing except eat, drink and read books

Nice new hotel with excellent location

The location is excellent. Close to the lake and a lot of resaurants. The metro station is just around the corner! Very easy to access other parts of the city. The hotel is very new and clean. The breakfast buffet has many varieties. The balcany is quite weird...There's no furniture and it has a strange corner. For me it's badly designed. I don't know what we can do there. Such a waste. There're no towel racks in the washroom. It's not very convenient.

Generally a nice stay

It's an extremely convenient if you are attending any congress at the Expo next to the hotel. Overall, the room is clean and tidy. I like the balcony area I could relax a bit after work. There was slight cigarette smell. I hope the room service would extend the servicing hour and the bar would have opened.

這次蘇州旅遊，適逢新冠狀病毒入侵，以致全城在新年都靜下來。 幸好還有一間好的酒店，食住都有好的享受吧！ 由衛生、前枱接待的人員、以至廚房廚師、及清潔的工友等等，都能鎮靜地提供專業的服務。 在艱難的環境下見到希望。

全体的に綺麗なホテルでした、 チェックイン時に150元追加すれば湖側の部屋にチェンジできると言うので変えてもらいました。 部屋にはガラス張りしてあるベランダがあり、嫌いな夜景が観れました。 朝、ベランダから湖を見ることができましたが、遠くに小さく見えただけでした。でも変えて良かったかな？

一次被前台接待破坏的入住体验

入住体验不佳，我们大约下午两点半左右到达酒店，前台说没有房间打扫出来，在我们等待了两个小时之后，经过数次催促，并且看到无数比我们晚到的客人入住之后我们仍然没有房间，并且几次询问，前台换人也不交接提醒我们再等待，直到忍无可忍，发了脾气才安排好房间，这时候离进店已经过了两个多小时。而且接待对我们一家甩脸色，态度不好，非常让人失望

周辺は結構歩かないとゴンビニなど無いです。夜遅くまで食事出来るところは周辺になさそうです。ラウンジは1930までと言うのが早すぎる

去蘇州古城景點要搭的士，但傍邊有一個大型商場,環境清幽

飯店很好，離地鐵站也近，只是附近小吃較少。

在文化博覽中心站（大概差不多這個名字）3號出口一出來就是，很方便，很乾淨，員工也友善，就是房間廁所隱私度很低，外面看幾乎透明。。

地理位置很好！也很方便！地鐵就在飯店旁！走路不用1分鐘！

湖に徒歩圏内です。ちょうど散歩がてらの距離で開放感に浸れます。 ショッピング・レストランまでは少し歩く必要（15～20分）があります。 湖の見える部屋には限りがあるようですが、湖側の部屋がおすすめです。

최고 수준의 Hotel은 아니지만 전반적으로 우수한 호텔임. 직원들도 친절하고, 조식도 다양하며, 무었보다 진지호수와 가까워 산책하기 좋음. Wifi도 잘됨 다만 가격이 좀 높은편이라 가격이 저렴할때 이용하면 좋을 것음

床垫很好，睡的很舒服，阳台也很棒可以看见湖景，自助早餐和午餐都很棒，交通也很方便，旁边有湖和月亮码头，很多吃饭的

nice hotel at quiet location with some downsides

First room I was given was very dark as it was in a corner of the hotel. However after 2 attempts they changed me to another room with sunlight. Dont look under the beds as they never seem to vacuum there - thats poor for such international hotel chain.

蘇州三日遊

酒店位置很棒，位金雞湖邊，新光百貨及誠品書局，還有全家便利商店都在附近，在湖邊欣賞風景吃頓晚餐是很好的享受。不遠還有時代圓融廣場，是另一個散步吃飯購物的好去處。捷運站在旁邊，交通便利，可搭到老城平江街文化之旅。 酒店服務親切，房間擺設及品質有一定水準，唯獨洗手檯有異味，離開前已知會前檯人員。
