This hotel and its amenities are exactly as they appear in the pictures. It’s in a great location for long walks and is very kid-friendly, with lots of activities available.

Many thanks for making my brief stay very relaxing, comfortable and quite pleasant. Particular mention to Sofia, your beautician, for her care, attention and artistry in providing me with a great nail service to welcome in the Christmas season.

Reception Staff good at arrival and departure. Rude, arrogant,ignorant bar and waiting staff.Do not expect to be rudely dismissed with a wave of hand at any hotel.let alone an alleged 5* hotel. Food was very poor. Ist time ive seen Grey chicken. Not too keen on meat being served on the bone either. Mmmm leaving today with food poisoning and this is best bit. Definitely will not return nor recommend Novotel or sharm el sheikh tbh.As a much travelled british holidaymaker I do not expect to be waited on hand and foot, however, there was a clear distinction made between us and the other russian and middle eastern nationals staying at this hotel. Unacceptable and this place would maybe get 3* in arab Emirates or Europe/rest of world, in my opinion,.

Novotel Palms is a Scam. If you don't get a beach wing room, be ready to the fact that you will be placed in the Palms wing, which is really a different hotel, with a different reception across the street, thus much farther from the beach. Don't tell your taxi you're going to Novotel Sharm El-Sheikh, but that you're going to Novotel Palms ... even though it is portrayed here as if it was just a different section. I was very annoyed and am convinced that this is very dishonest and Novotel should correct it by clearly specifying that it is a different hotel where you have to cross a 6 way street to get to the other hotel with the beach.

Nice hotel

For family trip

We stayed in palm wings side. There was clean and peaceful,but it was far away from the sea and dinner restaurant. However, the beach side had some construct process, crowded and too loudly. I did not reccomend beach side for families. WiFi was a big problem because it did not work even palm wings lobi during the holiday. Also breakfast was not good enough, we ate same things every single days. Dinner was beter than breakfast but it was not sufficient.

Bad service not worth the money

Never had a horrible experience like this before. 1. I bought an all inclusive rate the receptionist told me alcohol is not included unless I pay more. The receptionist tried to make me pay more saying i made a mistake in the booking. 2. The staff doesn’t speak any language not English not Russian not anything, my son who only speaks english had a hard time getting ‘water’ from the bar because the bartender doesn’t know what the word ‘water’ means. 3. Cheap food not open buffet, no variety. & borderline rude restaurant staff. 4. If you buy the all inclusive you have to cross the street to get to the restaurant where lunch & dinner are. If you do NOT buy the all inclusive rate, you will have the restaurants right in the same building. 5. I stayed in 3 stars hotels & resorts & got better service & amenities than this ‘5 star’ hotel. 6. Management & staff are a bigger problem than the old facilities of this hotel. 7. On the way to get to the restaurant staff cut tree branches & put it in your way or the path will be full of mud from watering the plants no common sense. I do not recommend staying there. I thought Accor hotels may have better standards than the rest but my stay there will have me stay away from this chain all together.

I liked the beach ,i did not like the restriction when you enter and when to leave the beach ,i did not like the sales peoples too many of them you can not relax ,i did not like the foid they can not provide a simple thing white normal bread for a 5* you have to asked for things should be there anyway . I would not class this hotel as 5* i have been to a less * who provided better services .never again

Novotel palm wing is disappointing as you have to cross the road to other Novotel to do anything like breakfast or access the beach. This is not obvious when booking the room. Also there is hardly any staff for room service.

It is great location. Walkable distance to great attractions. Internet is weak. Night time is loud.

Bad WiFi connection keeps disconnecting and most of the time no WiFi in room at checkout they tried to rip me off saying there are fees on the room even though i paid everything online during reservation

This was a very bad experience with a very bad stuff. The stuff don't smile to the guest. It was a terrible property. I don't recommend it to anyone in sharm. There is too many properties better than it like stella di mare .

I liked the location of the hotel and facilities, I did not like the air condition was not cool enough. the check-in was too long. there was no WIFI in the room and in reception area the internet was too slow.

A bit tired. Good location. Way too noisy

I stayed on the beach side which was well located. You can walk to Naama town centre in 10 minutes. The property is showing its age though. The furnishings and rooms are tired. No USB ports and only a couple of single sockets mean that is not very gadget friendly. The WiFi was hit and miss. The main issue is the constant noise from competing restaurants. Common sense should dictate that if the animation is blasting then the beach restaurant should turn it's music off or down. There is no where that is designated as a quiet area and that's a problem for people like me. The food was basic but fine. Overall an OK stay but expensive for what you get and especially considering that Russians and Ukrainians seem to pay nothing money for the same rooms on an AI basis. I worked out I was paying double for B&B, which is irritating.

to be honest I treated badly because hotels.com didn't send my reservation to the hotel as I been told I tried to contact the site through chat no body give me any attention I tried to call there is no free number it will cost me more than 5 usd a minute finally I used my way to solve this matter with hotel Manager he was a gentleman man has enough experience how to protect Novatel reputation I deeply appreciate every things he did I disappoint what Hotels.com has done with me I wil not recommend the site for any one from the time being.

من أفضل فنادق الشرم ان لم يكن أفضلهم لاني ماجربت البقيه. زرتهم ٢٠١٠ و٢٠١١ و٢٠٢١ نفس الخدمه والاجواء الجميله. كان بالغالب اكثر فندق حيوي بالمنطقه والموقع جميل بكن يبغى مشي ١٠ دقائق للاسواق وهذا متعب اذا كنت بتروح اكثر من مره وترجع. المشكله الوحيده هي التكييف اقل من المطلوب في غرفتين مختلفتين وفي جناح الشاطىء والنخله.

On hotel.com it said wifi is free. For me they didn’t have wifi in the rooms. You as to pay to get it. The tv is tiny. Like very tiny.

Great Location, Average Hotel

Our review will be divided into parts where we will review each part as the hotel experience will be conveyed greatly as so. Arrival to the lobby and Reception: The hotel lobby is the nicest place in the hotel, we arrived from the airport and were greeted with a welcoming drink. The front desk employee was a trainee and not experienced and he could not check us in until another employee arrived 5 minutes later. We had reserved a pool side room and we confirmed so on the phone before arrival but we got a first floor room and we had to renegotiate to take the poolside room. The room: The room is spacious and neat. It needs a bit of renovation as the bathroom feels a bit old, the room refrigerator makes some noise that is noticeable at night while sleeping, and the AC grill is not 100% fixed and it vibrates making noise while the AC is on. We were visiting in June so the temperature outside would be around 35C, and that affected the cold water temperature as taking a refreshing shower is almost impossible as the hotel was not equipped with water chillers. The room was not equipped with shower robes or slippers, neither a makeup mirror. The restaurants: The hotel has 3 restaurants, the main restaurant is called The Coral Restaurant, it is the one providing the breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets. It also provides the room service meals. The menu is very limited and the quality is barely acceptable. The best items to try is the Tuna Salad and The Grilled Chicken meal. The mai

I enjoyed my time.

I tryed other hotels in sharm alshaikh, I don't know why I like this hotel room, staff, pool and close to the beach. The hotel staffers are very helpful and always smiling, the room is clean and comfortable. This is my third stay in Novotel. And I highly recommended.

Nice quiet hotel

Very nice hotel - very helpful staff and easy check-in / check-out. I was not over keen on the poolside buildings; spread out over a large area. The golf cart to get me up two (of three or four) ramps with my luggage was very useful indeed. I would not have liked to try and find the room alone.

Not a five star

I stayed at Novotel Palm for five days with my family. Check in was quick and easy and we even got a buggy ride to our room. Once inside everything seemed ok but the standard of room was not close to that of a five star. I found the room to be infested with ants which were just sprayed and killed on more than one occasion but never actually cleaned. Wifi was only available at pool side which was a bit of a let down and breakfast was average. The staff are nice and friendly but a bit slow at times. Room is not cleaned thoroughly when requested everything has to be mentioned specifically. If I wanted a budget hotel would have chosen this. To be fair pools are good and big and the gardens are very well maintained beautiful.

Food poisoning

My wife has food poisoning from the hotel breakfast buffet. She could not leave the room for 2 out of our 4 day stay. The hotel management needs to do more to maintain a higher level of hygine in their food offering

The hotel was ok but they have to do maintenance. We had water shutdown for more than 5 hrs. The a/c was very hot.

Good hotel

I had a pleasant stay at the Novotel Palms for one week August -first impression- it could do with a tidy up here and there.. gardens are lovely though and maintained very well, room was very nice, in nice location, restaurant/s probably needs some attention for it to become 5 star, hygiene lacking somewhat in areas......breakfast was very nice though and I enjoyed the pancakes in the mornings :) could choose to eat out of an evening. The majority of staff are very lovely and bend over backwards to help, in all areas of hotel, very friendly...reception staff are welcoming to guests, but one or two really do need to improve their languages being on reception, especially English as difficult to communicate. Having stayed in Sharm 11 times over a period of 5 years I would say I would definitely return to the Novotel on the Palms side, it was overall a pleasant and relaxing break and yes, also I forgot- it is in a good location :)

Great hotel in very good location

When we got to Sharm El Sheikh for the first evening it quickly became clear we had stumbled across an excellent place to stay. The Novotel probably has the prime location in Naama Bay, right on the beachfront with beautiful private beach, with coral to snorkel over etc. easy access to water sports. It's near enough to walk to the centre of the town, but far enough away to be quiet. The room was great. (Superior double room, massive bed, garden view, beachside). The important thing is to go for beachside, because half the hotel is on the north side of the highway, and if you are there you have to cross the road to access the beach facilities. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Next time we go to Sharm we won't be staying anywhere else.

Nice resort hotel with adorable staff

Novotel is one of many resort hotels along the beach at Naama Bay, but just a bit more fresh and pleasant than its neighbours och therefore the one that offers the best value for money. Note, however, that it by western standards is a 3,5 star hotel (just as all the other "5 star" hotels in the same price range in the area). The hotel is nice and clean, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff is absolutely adorable! The live music at the pool every evening is a nice touch as well. The only negative parts of the experience is that the Internet in the room didn't work (and the common wifi at the pool was down every now and then), the breakfast is quite bland and boring, and the pool closes at sunset... but this is all standard for the other hotels in the area as well. Also note that while the hotel staff is great, the same can't always be said for the staff offering associated services at the hotel area (excursions and SPA).

Cracking location, cleanest hotel

It is right on the end of the "strip" before the Marriott. I have been to sharm 4 times and stayed in various hotels and this hotel (I stayed beach side) was the cleanest by a long long way. The staff were somewhat glacially slow, however that applies to most of Sharm generally. I particularly recommend the local pharmacist "Mr Shadi" who will attend to any pharmaceutical needs that may arise. Mozzies were particularly bad this year.

Decent hotel - good for Egyptian standards but 5 star there is equivalent to 3.5 star elsewhere. Poor quality breakfast and lots of road noise

The bathroom size was really small and need to be maintenance and the service was not that good and thay late every time to our order and some time they didnt bring it to us we book our room pool view but they put us in a garden view Room was derty

One of the best

Novotel is my favourite excellent location and staff. Beach Reef if the best that kids can enjoy and snorkel all day! long and wide swimming pool.

4 star..not 5

i loved the location. breakfast was ok..i expected more. the water tap in my bathroom kept dripping water and i called the reception twice to send someone to get it fixed but they didn't. the water was everywhere and the sound was so loud at night that i couldn't sleep even after i shut the door. i think overall it should be rated as a 4 star hotel instead of 5.

Great place, terrible staff

No need to get too deep into the reasoning behind it but security really loved to hassle me and my friend staying in the room. It was like pulling teeth every time we wated to leave the room or coming back in. Don't expect guests to be allowed anywhere aside from places that money will be spent; spa, pool bar, and the beach.

The only place to stay!

The Novotel is in an excellent location with a short stroll to the beach (if you stay at the Novotel Beach) and a 10 min stroll into Naama Bay centre. The Novotel Palm is located on the opposite site of the dual carriageway so you need to cross and pass through the Novotel Beach to access the beach if staying there. The beach has a spacious layout compared with the more crowded layouts of the other hotel private beaches. Staff are very pleasant and friendly. We strolled by many other hotels and remained convinced that we'd made the best choice! The only downside was that the wifi wasn't working properly. However, I spoke with people on the return flight who'd had the same issues in another hotel so maybe this is a common problem in the area. There are plenty of bars and restaurants with wifi in the centre.

Good for the Egyptian standard

In general the hotel is ok , food very limited in variety , friendly staff. if your room on the beach side near the pool which is around the bar you will hear the noise of the music at night . There is a free wireless internet around the pool , you can't use it because of the daily activity in and around the pool and because of the night activity in the bar around the pool.

Package holiday special

Check-in was slow due to arriving just as multiple tour groups were departing. Location of reception for my bargain wing of the hotel was not clear as I originally arrived at the main lobby some distance away from the cheap seats and had to schlep the luggage 200 meters across a busy road. After 50 minutes waiting to check in and getting into the room, the toilet flush was weak enough to not move any of the waste down the drain. Waking early the next day to catch a 0600 flight, found there was no hot water. Apart from that, a wonderful stay, not.

Great room/view… Terrible service

I booked a 3 person room, and when we got to reception, they charged me 40 euros for the 3rd person for 2 nights…. i thought we already paid for that when we made the reservation. The breakfast was less than appealing to say the least. Aside from that, the hotel room was clean. The shower was a little backed up and overflowed into the floor, and the AC was a little weak for the size of the room. The view was great, and the balcony was very nice. the location was great, and near the the nice section of Sharm. There are tons of bars/ restaurants around. Be sure to check whether you want poolside or ocean view. The Novotel is actually 2 separate resorts and only one of them is near the beach. The other is across the road which can be tricky to cross at times. Just because of the service, I will not stay here again, nor will I be able to recommend this hotel to anyone else. Be sure to look at the fine print before committing to your place of stay.

Overall Nice

Overall, nice hotel. In the center of Na'ama bay. Beach side is close to the beach and walking distance to night life and shops ( about 15-20 minutes walk). There is a reef in front of the hotel and decent snorkeling. Beech is great. Room is average. Service is average. Price is reasonable. Not the best but overall nice and less expensive than other luxury hotels.

Not a service of a 5 star hotel...dissapointing service

The hotel is in a very good location with short cab journey to old market, soho square etc. the service from the hotel was poor. When we arrived at the hotel, my details were wrong on the system and they tried to give us a room with two single beds when we booked a double, we didn't get bath towels for two days and then they tried to charge us for it!!!! The television didn't work and they charged us for a drink that wasn't in the fridge in the first place! The only good thing about the hotel was the breakfast..impressed with the variety of what was offers. I,d rate this a 3 star or less

Nice Location, Average Staff

Not very helpful staff at all comparing to neighboring Mariott hotel. I stayed in both this year. The Look of the Novotel is more modern but the quality of their staff is disappointing (where in sharm it is customary that the staff go to a great extent to please the customer) Poor breakfast, Nice breakfast area

Good Stay

Overall, we had a great stay. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Their was decent entertainment nightly and we were in walking distance of everything, including the Sharm night life. The beach was convenient and accessible with lots of reef and marine life; perfect for snorkeling. The breakfast buffet was okay at first, but there were a lot of flies in the food area and it there was no variety from one day to another. By our third day we were ready for something new. Overall, I would stay here again.

Close to all local sights - but WATCH the food!

I stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved the hotel. Having been to Egypt many many times before, I wasn't sure whether to go for the Novotel as I usually stay at the Marriott/Hilton next door. However, I was very very impressed with my room - nice furniture, perfect location for getting to Naama Bay.. very nice. HOWEVER...bad points: 1) Ordered pizza first day on beach, the base of the pizza was COMPLETELY mouldy - they exchanged it straight away without any grief, but you can understand how I was a bit cautious eating from there after that episode! 2) Two of the pillowcases hadn't been changed from the previuos guest - I have this sixth sense, and I can tell when the bedding is not fresh - these two pillowcases smelt of people .... I decided not to complain about it, so just avoided the pillows in question - there were 2 others anyway, so no worries! 3) Concierge/Porter service a bit on the slow side - they need more porters. On day of checkout, I waited 15 mins and almost missed my flight, waiting for porter to come take the luggage. In the end, I lugged it myself... Overall very very nice hotel and I would probably stay there again, for sure! :)

great but far from Naama Bay road

Good stay for the money although its a bit far from the main road in Naama Bay. The service was fantastic. Cons are that breakfast is from 630am till 10am only which isn't too bad and the walking distance from the main tourist attractions. The beach is good yet the sand is gravellish.

Not impressed

-Hotel security did not allow me to have my relatives over for a coffee, they were very rude. They said I must purchase a "double room" to be able to have visitors over. - very bad room service, they dont answer the phone most of the time. - smell of sewage in room.

nice hotel poor service

the hotel was very relaxing with beautiful modern design but service was very poor and very rude stuff. i booked a superior family suite which i thought was a 1 bedroom suite but we had to uprade to presidential suite cuz it was the only one with a seperate bedroom, and the difference was pretty big in the price.

Posto tranquillo, personale gentilissimo

Soggiorno molto piacevole e rilassante. Consiglio la forma all inclusive siccome c’è anche compresa la spiaggia, oltre che a pasti e beveraggio. Tutto lo staff dell’hotel è molto gentile e disponibile, infatti per qualsiasi problema o necessità erano pronti ad aiutare. Spiaggia, bar e ristorante devo dire che erano molto curati e il servizio era impeccabile!

Hotel da ristrutturare (è già in fase di). La zona Palm preferirei fosse meglio illuminata in particola modo il ristorante (luce calda, lampade alte e poco potenti) quindi ristorante buio e poco accogliente. Personale molto gentile. Pulizia delle stanze da migliorare sensibilmente.
