Excellent hotel, enjoyed the stay. Shuttle service to airport could use a bigger bus (it’s an oversized minivan), and be more punctual due to overcrowding

This time had to wait at lobby for long to get room key. Thanks that was given a heater as the room was so cold despite stopping the AC.

Got us checked in and to our room quickly; several options for eating, light switches in room not obvious, carpeting in hallways made it hard to pull wheeled luggage

Very convenient hotel. Close to airport, shopping and transit.

The main attraction is the location as it is near to the airport and the Citigate Outlet mall. Feee shuttle bus service is also provided to/from the airport. The hotel is also just 1 MTR station from the Disneyland station hence can be a plus for families with young children. Online check-in is a breeze. However, the corridors are dark so I will advise if it is a solo trip, it is good to ask for a room nearer to the lifts.

They have good service. Location is accessible in all kinds of transportation. Very near to the airport.

This was an excellent stay. Near the Hong Kong international airport, train to the city, etc. and connected to a big outlet mall. The hotel is very nice and the upgraded rooms were spacious. The staff are really nice and housekeeping keeps the rooms very clean. The breakfast probably is better for their Asian clientele and platters of eggs, fruits, vegetables were only ok.

The place is great. Staff are kind and nice. Good dining options. Access to the Citygate outlets.

Great one-nighter was the perfect choice’s

Perfect one night stop between flights. Great service from committed group of staff. Free shuttle service. Nice buffet dinner. Lovely room with great facilities. Shopping mall in the building. Good outdoor walk along the waterfront. Overall an excellent choice.

The bathroom set up is very open. It is ok for couples but for others.

Excellent location, rooms, service, and staff

The property is very conveniently located from the tram and bus station. Since it's beside a mall, there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was clean and had all the necessary essentials. Julie who works at the morning buffet was especially friendly and attentive. I will stay here again if I'm ever return to Hong Kong.

A pleasant lay over in Hong Kong

The room was Amazing facing some buildings but also there a peek of the harbour, very comfy bed with a huge bathroom, breakfast was great with a lot choices between Asian and western food, I had lunch at one of their restaurants and the sea bass was outstanding, the front desk gave me a complimentary late check out and was very appreciated since my flight was later that afternoon, the hotel is conveniently located not too far from the airport and has direct entrance to Citygate Outlets for a last minute shopping of some of the best brands at discounted prices, definitely I will stay again in this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay as a family. It was close to the places that we mostly visited. The room is clean albeit a little cold. Bu no complains excelent all around.

Hotel staff is friendly and warm. Help to expedite checkout when trying to catch the free shuttle to airport. Hotel also well connected to MTR station and within citygate mall. Many food options to choose from.

The hotel is well placed for Hong Kong Airport and connects well with the large Citygate shopping mall and the MTR. It provides a useful courtesy bus to the airport. Bus connections to Lantau Island are good and also to the big buddha cable car nearby. We had a room with a great view. The chap on reception on check in was very helpful and welcomed us back as we have stayed at the hotel before.

A good hotel near airport

We stayed for 6 nights. During the first 3 nights, room and toilet was clean. But on 4th ,5th , 6th nights the toilet was smelly. They did not clean well. They do give complimentary drinking water anytime you ask. Convenient for few days stay if you like shopping in the outlet stores. Very far from TST.

Great location for shopping and Ngong Ping

We stayed there for 2 nights and love the location (right at the citygate mall) near disneyland and ngong ping. The only downside is the hotel feels very old and dated and the breakfast spread is very limited. Would recommend giving the breakfast a miss. We love the complimentary shuttle bus service to the airport.

Good receptionists

Attached to a huge shopping centre. In a high density apartment area but with great green walking paths. Within 10 minutes from the airport with a free shuttle. Also only a $36HK taxi ride to the cruise port. The main restaurant has a decent buffet for breakfast and supper. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel common areas and rooms are super clean.

Perfect hotel for an overnight on Lantau island, perfect for visiting Tian Tan Buddha and Disneyland with the subway station and the cable car just 5 min from the hotel. Very friendly staff.

Novotel Tung Chung,old rooms

Novotel Tung Chung is a great location and loads of shops/restaurants nearby as well as easy access to MTR and airport.Hotel shuttle bus driver from the airport on the 6th Nov really nice and helpful. Disappointed with the room,looks like it had it been renovated since the hotel opened. Furniture tatty and stains on the carpet and very dated concept.

We loved the view from our room (20th floor). The closeness of the gondola (5 minute walk) to get up to the Big Buddha! Only a 15 minute Uber ride to Disneyland. Hotel shuttle to the airport. Huge shopping mall attached to the hotel with plenty of dining options. Great place to finish up a trip to Hong Kong!!

the best hotel near airport with walking distant to outlet and dine, in face it was attached .only stayed one night while connecting flight for the next day this hotel offered what I needed

Sadly, the breakfast buffet was not up to the standard we had expected. We'd particularly like to note that the people at reception were excellent.

The location is perfect who wants to have a quiet place. There is a big shopping mall next to the hotel, you can shopping and dining.

It's a very nice hotel. Only thing is, it's getting old. And some part was not perfectly maintained.

Great for pre-flight stay.

The service staff at reception and the premium lounge were excellent! They were highly proficient in Chinese, English and even Japanese and very friendly. The Citygate outlets shopping mall offered many places to shop and eat and to simply pass the time. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this hotel for my pre-flight stay. Highly recommended.

Bad Check-in

A message from the hotel promised, if I check-in on line with an estimated time of arrival, that I would have an enhanced check-in experience and room keys ready on arrival. I checked in on line, but I did not get my room keys on arrival (more like 20 minutes later) and I had a terrible check-in experience. Would not be going to a Novotel anytime soon, even though the Sofitel brand, from the same Accor Hotels, is one of my favorite hotel brands. That said, the hotel was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was pretty quiet once I was inside the room. If not for the ngative check-in experience, this may be an acceptable airport hotel.

Will stay again

I highly recommend this hotel when traveling in Hongkong. Very accessible, very convenient, very clean etc. there is also free shuttle from airport to hotel vice versa. Will book this again.

Will visit again

Hotel located at shopping center, Citygate, with MTR. Beautiful view of the cable car over the mountain and gorgeous colorful sunset in our room. Breakfast buffet was good variety.

Great hotel near airport and Disneyland. There is a mall connected to the hotel which was awesome. Lots of food options, just have to look for them. Metro is also conveniently located near.

I did not stay as I inputted the wrong date. They did not allow changes and it is a shame even though I intended to stay if they allow the changes.

Superb customer service, extremely clean, adjacent to a mall with direct access to the metro, and a great, easy to dind frequent shuttle to the airport. Breakfast ok, nothing to write home about. On the flip side, property, especially rooms very dated. Time to replace those in-room 80s style carpets with some light damp smell, as well as the 80s style cabinets (also with the "old wood" smell). That would verily alter th experience for the better. Overall ok to good stay, especially if for a short day or two.

Good location meet my needs for being close to airport

Good service, clean room. Can include YouTube or Netflix for tv channels. Limited channels. Can include more sockets and charging ports especially near the beds. Can include ice dispensing machine along the corridor.

Bad

Some stuff unfriendly, some staff good. No options for food or drink after 10pm. No power outlets in room next to bed only at desk across the room. Old looking and dirty carpet. Just overall not very clean and accommodating for the price we paid. I would never stay here again

HK transit

Best location for airport transit passengers.

It is conveniently located to airport, Mass Transit Railway and with direct access to a shopping plaza. The room is comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffet offered a selection from different cuisine.

Hotel was considered spacious, nice view over the cable car. Convenient location closed to the cable car station to the Big Buddha, MTR station, bus terminal and a few malls including citygate. Hotel provides free shuttle bus for pick up and drop off to and from the airport. Best of all, staff are friendly and helpful, particularly those from the concierge. Highly recommending this hotel and will definitely come back to stay here next time.

We had a fantastic stay at Novotel Citygate. Great location attached to the Outlet mall with easy access to the MTR. Two stops to Disneyland which made things easy. We loved the pool which was beautiful for kids - safe depth, the ‘coral reef’ mosaic was hours of fun! Strong recommend, but maybe only 3-4 days.

Mostly what I would expect from a Novotel. However the toilet door wouldn't close properly and you can see the person using the toilet from the bed. Also both usb ports in the room were not working so we couldn't charge our devices. And at 3am we were rudely awoken by a scary loud bell ring that lasted a few seconds. Possibly a false fire alarm. Also the toilet was blocked. However the staff were very attentive and provided service quickly when requested. So a mixed experience for us.

Free shuttle van to/from HKG Airport beginning at 06:00. Efficient and pleasant staff. Well appointed and clean room with a view. A big outlet mall shopping center is attached to the hotel with huge mixture of retail stores and restaurants. The hotel's pool feels like a quiet oasis. No negatives other than a higher cost property, but that's Hong Kong.

You can walk to the subway station from the hotel. Don’t take the taxi.

Top floor

We were upgraded to the top floor, more space with a nice view. We found the bed a little hard and there was a sewer smell in the WC. The airport shuttle and the convenient location (to dining, shopping and MRT) is the reason we stay here. Service is also friendly.

I liked how the hotel has a buffet, that is very nice.

Once you enter the room, it has very strong moldy smell. The bedside light wasn’t function properly, it kept blinking. Bathtub has water stains all over. The bed has hairs, no sure if they change the sheet between stays. The worst thing is the tv. I wasn’t able to turn off the tv. The remote wasn’t working! 😤 so I left the tv on entire night. I didn’t want to change the room, due to late arrival, it was midnight. Honestly, this is the first hotel I ever stayed with this many problems. I stayed here because of the transfer flight. The shuttle driver was very nice and helpful. That’s the only thing I like about this hotel. 😂

Poor lobby

This was our Fifth time to stay at this Novotel Citygate hotel. We are arrived at 9:00am , and the staff kindly let us to have the rooms earlier, it is well-considerate and saves lots of hassles. The room is clean and tidy, the location is great for shopping . Will definitely come back again in future

Stayed for our last 3 nights at Novotel. They gave us an upgraded room and the staff throughout are so very helpful. Loved the barman! Novotel is perfect for the Outlet shopping, access to gondola / big buddha and MTR down to Disneyland. Plenty of eating options all within a short walk. You can't go wrong with this place.

Novotel Citygate is linked to the Tung Chung MTR station which provide good connectivity via public transport. Quiet location. Staff provides good quality service.

My flight was delayed so when i arrived it was a day late from my check in time. I called the hotel the moment i came of flight. Was worried that i would have a problem are lost my money. They were very helpful told me not to worried just get there safe because shuttle bus stopped running so i had to take a taxi. From the moment i arrive until the day i left i have no bad experience. I would definitely returned. I stayed 10days and i loved it. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Thanks Jason and team in making my stay spectacular.

The room is clean but only one charger outlet near the tv and on top of the fridge. Not enough for two people to charge their devices

The hotel was really good. However, the buffet restaurant in the hotel was not great. The restaurant offered my 3 years old son free breakfast. However, when we were going there for dinner. The restaurant charged my son $310 for dinner without noticed us. The price for adult is only around $390, $310 for 3 years old boy makes no sense.

The hotel is very strategically located near to bus, MTR and cable car station. The station is just minutes away and is connected to the hotel, as well as the mall. We did not manage to catch the airport shuttle as our flight arrived hongkong at 11pm, when we reached the bus bay at 11.43pm it had left though the last bus is at 11.40pm. So, you have to time very properly if you plan to take the shuttle and your flight is late night. The taxi to the hotel though is only 5 mins drive, it cos around HKD 120. Overall, a very good hotel living upto a 5 star hotel standard from location to bed, amenities and smallest details the hotel demonstrates good care. Will strongly recommend for anyone planning to stay at this hotel.

Nice place to stay close to the airport, not much around to see though

I found the staff here to be very helpful and kind for my stay. The room was very clean & spacious, shower was very powerful and bed was so comfortable. Amenities were good and breakfast buffet was definitely of a good standard. Thanks for making it an enjoyable stay, will definitely be back again
