TravellerGreat apartment and area
We stayed at Nonno Giulio for 5 nights and really loved our stay here. The apartment is a nice size for a couple but also has a sofa bed if a family wanted to stay too. Both Stefano and Francesco were very friendly and helpful both via email before we arrived and face to face. The air conditioning is lovely and cold just what you need after a day in the heat. Nice big comfy bed, a wardrobe with hangers, fridge freezer, oven, dining table and chairs, nice hot power shower, strong Wi-Fi, fresh towels. There is a supermarket next door for everything you could want too which is handy. The water is cold clean and safe to drink and there are lots of fountains around Rome that you can fill your bottle up at as you walk around. There are so many restaurants nearby some on the same street and some not even a 5 minute walk to the main square. It is only a 30 minute walk to the Colesseum, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon ect, we got a taxi back from the Coleseum after a really long hot day and it was only about €8 to the apartment. It felt like a safe area, and we would stay here again when we come back to Rome one day, we loved it! :-)

We really enjoyed our stay here in Rome! Very close to the historical center; we walked everywhere and the furthest we had to walk was 40mins. The neighbourhood was quaint, with many small shops and restaurants steps from the apartment. Stefano was super helpful with directions for us to get there, and Francesco gave us so many great local tips! The apartment itself was really clean and had all the things we needed for 6 nights in Rome. We definitely recommend staying here!

The apartment is right in the heart of the Trastevere area. If you don't want to walk, there is public transport. We didn't need it, it takes you about 30 minutes to reach the Vatican, 30 minutes to the Forum. The neighbourhood is great. Lots of restaurants, shops, markets. There is a supermarket right next to the apartment. We stayed for a week with our 11 year old son. The neighbourhood felt vibrant but safe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was easy to contact the landlord and get the keys, we were even allowed in a little earlier than expected. The apartment consists of a bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom. There is not a lot of natural light in the kitchen, the windows are quite small. Other than that we loved the place. It was also very quiet day and night. Wifi was reliable. We would definitely recommend it and stay there again in the future.

Fabulous Apartment
Nonno Giulio is a fabulous apartment. It is in an excellent location - within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, attractions etc or there are numerous buses . It has a great shower & a really comfortable bed together with all things necessary for a short stay. Stefano was very helpful & replied to any questions promptly. Hopefully we will be back in Rome before to long & will definitely stay here again.
