Wonderful private quite authentic

Splendid garden oasis by the Nile

The hotel is a garden oasis by the Nile. It has a gorgeous rooftop biew of the Nile, there are organic gardens, fruit trees, and beautiful flowers all around, with multiple outdoir areas to dine. The food is amazing and freh, and often picked from the gardens. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. Mohammed Ali gave amazing service and always went out of his way to make the guests' stays marvelous.

Great place to stay and relax

Nothing like pics in the photos. No receptionists and manager no help at all.

It felt like a real-life Rainforest Cafe

It is a beatiful,Egyptian style compound with an unique touch done by the owners.We truly enjoyed every single second and will gladely go back.What makes this compound different is Love that was built in by Ilse and Mahmoud.

Nice, clean and quiet designed to give you the Egyptian rural impression. Food is so nice and tasty. The staff Are so kind, polite and available for you. Attractive Nile view. The location is on the other river bank which leaves it away from the airport, luxor temple and Karnak temple. I saved a good amount of money by booking this hotel so I don't mind to pay double for transportation. الفندق نظيف وواسع وتم تصميمه من الداخل على نمط صعيد مصر ولكن بشكل حديث. طاقم الخدمة والموظفين مؤدبين ولطيفين جدا ودائما متواجودين لخدمتك. الفندق لديه إطلالات جميلة على النيل. يقع الفندق في البر الغربي وهو بعيد جدا عن المطار ومعبد الكرنك والأقصر. المنطقة هادئة جدا اذا كنت تبحث عن السكينة والهدوء. الفندق اقرب إلى وادي الملوك.

Amazing Place with wonderful views.

This place was absolutely amazing. The staff took care of all of our needs. Anything we needed they took care of.The food was amazing, our personal attendants were wonderful. The pool was well maintained and cleaned daily.Laundry was easy to get done as often as I needed. They also use a wonderful driver who is very knowledgeable and the staff for the boat service back and fourth across the Nile was wonderful as well. Beautiful place to stay and I highly recommend this place if you want a comfortable place to relax and enjoy great views of the Nile. I will definitely stay here every time I am in Luxor!!

Good hospitality is the only plus point. Poor maintenance resulted in spider webs in many rooms, ants, mosquitoes, flies, non functioning heaters. Beware of triple charge for water bottles, extra omelette. The property does NOT accept credit cards at all. Very far from airport in a village. Not worth staying in winter months when the rooms are cold and not having regulated heat. Very dusty and untidy.

I required a tranquil place in a beautiful setting to balance the rigours of seeing the tourist sites in and around Luxor and the Nile Compound met those needs 100 %.

Unique and pleasant situation in the fields with view on Nile, swimming pool, roof terrace. Confortable and clean rooms. Not luxurious nor fancy, but intimate and charming with local taste. Excellent spirit of service in the team. We use bike for moving. Excellent way to be at this hotel. You can of course hire a car also. I recommend to be clear with Marmoud about the car fare from the beginning to avoid misunderstanding.

Eh its ok not great. Difficulty to get in and out of

Great views. Very interesting and unique location. Similar breakfast every day. Needs more variety. Very cold in the evenings. No heat. Not a lot to do in and near the Compound. You need to do a lot of walking or get some other type of transportation.

We loved the pool and quiet, homey atmosphere here. Our room was so spacious and our host was very helpful. He gave accurate information about the prices of local attractions and transportation so we could make wise decisions about our schedule and we didn't feel ripped off.

Rural hidden gem, it is like your own private resort. Food is excellent and better than the 'must visit' restaurants in the more busy East Bank side. Tours are easily arranged and pick up is no issue.

This hotel is located away from the city center - you take dirt roads past local homes and fields. Approaching it, you may wonder what you got yourself into. But as soon as you see the entrance, your fears will go away. This property is very cute - the rooms are large and the interiors and exteriors are decorated beautifully. There is a nice clean pool and a rooftop terrace that overlooks the fields and the Nile. It's great to get away from the hustle and enjoy some quiet and local flavor. I actually booked this place only to take a nap and store luggage after our cruise ended (we flew out of Luxor late that night). Had I known how great it would be, I would have planned to spend the night and fly out the next day. If I ever returned again, I would stay here!

Nice hotel in West Bank

Very very nice hotel in West bank of the Neil, easest check in, nice staff, breakfast and swimming pool, spacious rooms, excellent decorations, air conditioning working well, well arranged plants and landscaping. They have kitchen and have their own menu, we tried once and it wasn't bad. Beers are available by special order. Ferry to east bank downtown area costs 1 LE (Egyptian pounds,) = 5 cents in usd, located 2.4km away, aboit 20-25 minutes walk, or taxi will cost you 40 LE (2$) to ferry, along river there are a few local restaurants, we tried one of them and not bad again. The hotel is in a very quiet village and people around are decent and welcoming. Walking to ferry provides an opportunity to view their real life. Sugarcane filed, Kids herding goats, donkey pulling a cart, men in traditional suit, women with or without niqab, Sailing boat along Niel bank. In general, absolutely recommended, Niel Compound!

Better than you can imagine !

Located in the heart of Luxor. You will get the real folklore experience. They arrange your transportation for a very good rate And also will help you in all your Tour needs. From visiting the main sites, to a wonderful Hot Air Balloon Ride ¡. Apartament is Fantastic. Great A/C. Superb Bed, fully Equipped Clean and Spacious. A real Gem you can not miss !

This was, by far, my favorite hotel that we stayed in in Egypt. I felt like I was staying in really nice house/apartment. The hotel grounds are beautiful. There is all this lush greenery as you walk towards your room. As you get to the pool, the pergolas are covered in all these really pretty flowers. After walking through the Valley of the Kings, Luxor, Karnak, the pool feels great. Breakfast was HUGE...and free!! They provided us with coffee, teas, a guava smoothie, orange juice, eggs, bread, fruit, tomato/cucumber salad, yogurts, and an assortment of cheeses every morning. It was delicious! Dinner, though not free, is also super delicious. Being in the West Bank, means it's very quiet, which is what we were looking for. From the train station, walk all the way to the Nile. Take the local ferry. It will cost you 1 Egyptian Pound. You will have people try to avert you to their personal boat and charge you 10-30 per person. Do not do that. Walk down the boardwalk and you'll see a large sign that says something like National Ferryboat. Once you get across the Nile, you can take a tuk tuk or taxi for less than 20-30 Egyptian Pounds. We walked to the hotel the first night...but it took us almost 30-40 minutes to do that. Arranging tours or hiring a taxi with the hotel staff is really easy. The view from the rooftop is stunning. You're surrounded by farmland and have a great view of the Nile. The staff is really friendly as well. Overall, 10 out of 10!!

Great Experience

Host, Mehsen, went out of his way to accommodate our stay, provide recommendations, and help us plan and organize activities. We decided somewhat last minute to book a hot air balloon ride. He came from home that evening to get us a reservation for the following sunrise.

We found this hotel to comfortable. It is a bit of drive from the airport. The grounds of the hotel are nice and the rates very reasonable for our larger family. It would have been helpful if they had a more formal front desk to easily contact employees with questions.

Great Place. Very Friendly Staff

Our family had a great stay here. The kids loved the pool and we had a nice relaxing time. The food was very good especially the complimentary breakfast. The staff was very helpful arranging transportation for us when needed. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Luxor.

A West Side Gem

This is a gem of a place on the west bank. No, you're not in Luxor city, you're in a quiet village backstreet on the other side and the location is close proximity to the sites. The the accommodation is lovely - nice grounds and swimming pool, rooms very well appointed - we saw the apartments too - they looked great for families. Roof top terrace overlooks the river. They have a small supply of beers and wine too which is great. They have a restaurant - the food was excellent. The owner organised a taxi to take us to the Valley of the Kings. Very reasonable rate.

Outstanding accommodation and service !! The place is beyond amazing and unmatched hospitality from the owner and everyone in the compound . We strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to live a truthful experience in Luxor . And don't forget to ask about the amazing tour guide and driver Adham

Séjour au calme sur la rive ouest avec piscine propre et personnel très gentil. L'hôtel est un peu vieillot et les équipements mériteraient un meilleur entretien. Attention peu accessible depuis la rive est ( touristique ) , il faut prendre un taxi ou un bateau navette

Nile Compound est un établissement de location d'apaprtements dans un complexe de type traditionnel (matériaux, décorations peintes, suspendues, voûtes), dans un quartier rural de la West Bank absolument paisible et très reposant, un canal coule paisiblement le long de la route. A l'arrrière, l'hotel donne sur le Nil, distant de quelques km. Nous avions un appartement avec deux chambres, dont l'une avec cuisine et balcon. Nous avons pris tous nos petits déj et dinners sur ce balcon, face au Nil. Le jour de notre arrivée, ma mère, épuisée, a pu bénéficier d'un jour de repos absolu face au fleuve. "Aucun bruit, juste les bateaux au loin, les palmiers et le Nil sur toute sa longueur". D'ailleurs je signale que l'hotel nous a gracieusement reçues dès 9h, alors que nous avions payé la nuit suivante. Les employés sont très serviables. Si je devais faire une critique, je dirais que le petit déjeuner était assez quelconque et toujours pareil, par rapport à d'autres endroits où nous avons été. Globalement, nous en gardon un souvenir excellent. Un très grand merci pour votre hospitalité et nos compliments pour votre établissement: il est vraiment sublime.

周囲には何もありません 対岸の繁華街に出るにはタクシーを呼んで船に乗るかタクシーで直接行くと$20かかります。 近所に小さな食品店がありますが、基本的にはホテル内での飲食です。 ただ、素晴らしいホスピタリティと古くとも豪華な部屋は癒されること間違い無いです。 近代的なホテル滞在を望む人は避けた方がいいでしょう。 総合して、点数をつけました。 うちの家族は満足です。

ホテル周辺は荒れたオフロードが続き到着まではとても不安な気持ちになりましたが、ホテルのスタッフのサービスや接し方がとても優しく親身になって頂き、エジプトにきて初めてエジプト人の印象を変えてくれました。 部屋は広くリラックスすることができました。

Bon séjour

Très bon séjour à l hôtel , au calme, le personnel attentif et à l écoute et très sympa. Bon petit dej. La seul chose a savoir c est qui est un peu isolé. Mais me concernant cela me va tout à fait car isolé du bruit de la ville. je vous le conseille.

È una sorta di agriturismo sulla parte ovest della città, se si prenotano le escursioni non è un problema, invece arrivare lì con un taxi non è così semplice, però il rapporto qualità prezzo è imbattibile, consigliato

Lindo el lugar, lástima está al otro lado de todo lo turístico y restaurantes. La llegada al lugar es bien remoto, pero lindo hotel

Great cosy spot on the westbank

Away from the hussle and bustle from east bank/downtown Luxor this gem is perfect for our trip. Located 15 minutes from the valley of the kings and the ferry across to Luxor city. Priceless breakfast by the pool. Super friendly staff. Could use a sign outside as we arrived in our rental car after dark. Friendly neighbour's came to the rescue after asking them directions. Without asking for a tip unlike the guys in downtown Cairo asking for money for "watching" our car in a free public parking spot. But that's all in the game.

Individuelle saubere Zimmer, schöner Innenhof, Frühstücksplatz mit Nilblick, Dachterrasse, schöner Garten! Nette Besitzer und gutes Personal! Jederzeit wieder und sehr zu empfehlen

Un endroit calme dans un quartier magnifique et typique de Luxor. Prêt des points d’interêt de la West Bank. Repas en salle ou en chambre ou encore à la piscine. Bon et bien exécuté. Bon rapport qualité prix

Un bel endroit pour dormir mais pas pour manger.

Très bel endroit avec un beau jardin fleuri et un coin piscine parfait pour se détendre. Lieu calme avec une chambre spacieuse qui s'apparente plus à une suite. Le logement était au dessus de nos attentes. :) Seul bémol sur la cuisine qui pourrait être un peu mieux (la menu est pourtant bien et les crêpes aussi mais le reste doit être amélioré surcuisson et manque d'assaisonnements ...). Bémol sur les chats en très mauvaise santé et très nombreux qui deviennent oppressant lorsqu'on mange en extérieur.

Apartamento grande, limpo e confortável.

The location is very nice with a view of both the Nile and the fields on the West Bank. It is a much quieter place than Luxor itself. It takes 10min by taxi/tuk-tuk to go to the ferry + 5 minutes to cross the river to the centre of Luxor. The hotel rooms are very spacious, and the kids loved the swimming pool a lot. The breakfast is very extensive, and includes fresh fruit from the surrounding fields. The hotel is continuously expanding, currently with 4 rooms/appartments.

Fajna atmosfera, pyszne i spore sniadanie, bardzo czysty pokoj (najlepszy prysznic jaki mielismy w Egipcie), wygodne lozko, bardzo cicho, polozony w okolicy gdzie zyja lokalni ludzie, rowniez po lepszej w mojej opinii stronie Nilu. Wifi swietnie dziala. Ladny widok na Nil z ostatniego pietra budynku. Mili i pomocni wlasciciele. Cena do jakosci rewelacyjna.
