The staff are so friendly and helpful. Room is spacious and clean.
Very poor service, room was dirty, PowerPoints didn't work, doors didn't lock, left the extra bed outside of the room. Bed sheets had a stain, food looked disgusting. Would not recommend this place to anyone. They don't have wifi in the rooms which is crazy.
Good location Terrible owner / service They only want your money not your presence. I wouldn’t recommend staying here - we slept here & the food was shocking. I told the supervisor and she ignored how we felt about the food. Breakfast was terrible I have never been served such shocking food, no care, no love, the last day we didn’t even have a buffet breakfast. I couldn’t believe it. We ended up eating at First Landing the full 7 days of staying, and thank god we did, the service the food is what made out Fiji experience. The boss needs to invest in the people of this land, they will bring the heart of your stay.
Wouldn't go back
Very clean
Nice and quite
The area was beautiful and quiet. However the transition was expensive and the staff was hard to track down. Don't give the wifi password. The restaurant was out of alot of the listed menu items. The rooms were nice and clean and the bed was so comfortable
AC didn't work well so i didn't sleep well.
Very poor service!!
The place was full of mosquitoes. Apart from pizza, food was of poor quality. Very poor service.
Great place to stay! Nice and quiet private little villas, friendly and accommodating staff made the stay even better.. I feel some of the bathrooms and washroom areas could use a deep cleaning as you may notice some lingering odours...beds were soft and comfortable with great temperature control.. plus amazing views of the ocean :)
This is a three star property. The shower recess needs an upgrade. The screen door fell off my Bure and the aircon in my travelling companion’s Bure had a VB box around it as it leaked. She requested another Bure which was organised for her. The pool area was nice except the poolside lounges had no cushions hence they were uncomfortable to use. There was very little or no TV reception. The property was kept tidy. If they spent a bit money to upgrade a few things it will be a lovely place to stay. The staff were fantastic, very obliging. Great menu in the restaurant, breakfast was good and the coffee at the restaurant was exceptional. We only had dinner (curry) in restaurant one night and it was beautiful.
It was atrocious and disgusting. The room wasn’t too bad but there were lizards in the room and it even gave birth to little lizards. Ants invading the room and was even all over the bed and pillow there were also cockroaches and spiders. They did not listen to our preferences to which had to follow up and fix when we arrived. Interconnecting rooms which could be unlocked, made us feel so unsafe. The bathroom was nauseating and revolting. Mould ALL OVER the floor and the wall of the shower and all the taps were stained. The mould literally invaded the edging on the floor and in between tiles on the floor and wall. It was literally everywhere and it was so disgusting. The toilet area was also so dirty and dusty. The safe wasn’t working, there was nothing to do there and not much variety of food. The only thing positive was the view however it’s not worth staying at this disgusting place for that. Not worth the money or time. Overall it made me feel so yuck and depressed. Would never go back and would not recommend.
Poor customer service
The property and living accommodation is fine , staff lovely and welcoming. The road driving into the property needs upgrading ASAP , as it is a downer in presentation. Breakfast is minimal and needs a variety of cereals , fruit etc. But , We enjoyed the ambience and immediate island experience. Will visit again .
Nice surroundings and peaceful. Management very helpful and polite. Attention and improvement required around dining facilities and menu.
Nice area to walk around and open
My main issue was the non-existing sound proofing between rooms. It sounded like the Neighbours where in my unit! Location and setting were very peaceful and relaxing.
Need’s cleanliness and some maintenance
It all started from our check-in, no one was at reception on arrival, we had to wait for more than half an hour, nice big room but not maintained properly. Couldn’t close the bathroom door because of the mould and was disgusting, there was no door mat, no hand wash, left over food was still in the fridge from the previous guest and it’s very expensive,
Wifi was non existent in the villas, telephone was broken and not fixed, didn't much like the buffet breakfast menu, dinner was disappointing. The rooms were clean but the common areas, poolside, dining room need an upgrade. The best thing about this property was the sunset every evening, but that view can be seen from many places. Shalini at Reception was very helpful.
Lovely staff, lovely view and lovely food. Would recommend.
I’m stuck on what to say on this review so I asked my kids who simply said it was “terrible”. The rave review from my child was “at least the spa had a seat to sit on while I threw up in it” I agree, plus the hose shower head also made it easy to clean. Management excelled in their arguing ability; I have never seen two people so passionate about whose fault it was about not booking our taxi. My kids reviewed this experience as “not even we fight like that” and I agree, my kids are 5 and 9. Another mature thing about my kids is that they decided not to play on the children’s playground stating “we don’t want to die” and I agree, Something about the way they’d hung the broken swing chains made death seem an appropriate consequence for playing on it. We picked up an overwhelming amount of rubbish from the beach but were discouraged to dispose of it in the resort bins despite it most likely being their rubbish and Witnessed a worker kick a local dog strolling by. As for other amenities I Cut my foot on the missing tiles in the pool, and FYI it’s not the resort nor the restaurants responsibility to provide change for the pool table. Prepare to battle the manager for the WIFI password. In our room; we yarned about the adventures of “Mahmoud” who’s flight documents we found in a draw in our room before becoming aware of the exposed electrical wiring of the light. Nearly broke my tailbone slipping on the gels that had leaked from the broken in shower shampoo dispenser too
The property is great and the staff are freindly and professional. If they can sort out the Wifi to the rooms it will be great especially for work purpose
Not Ideal
Let’s start with that this was a last minute booking as there was no other 7 point or above guest rated accommodation available in Nadi and this is in comparison to many other hotel/resorts that I have stayed-in in the past. Location - It is literally in the middle of no where by Fiji standards. In the middle of Nadi and Lautoka town so take a pick on which direction you want to travel about 25min by car. Hard to find taxi’s as there isn’t a dedicated taxi stand. You will have to call one in for yourself. Resort - Don’t expect a typical big Hotel/Resort style reception. The reception area is a small office at the back of a home opposite the restaurant, like a home office. Room - Room was decent size, clean at a quick glance but not clean enough if want to be critical for the amount you pay for the room. Dusty bits in corners, some places in the shower and toilet area had black spots (didn’t want to find out what it was) especially on the walls, shower track was dirty and tiled floors and walls just needs a good clean. The room was adjoining style with a door separating the two rooms and that was just not enough to keep the conversation next door out of my room. Can’t say the walls were thin as it’s all concrete. The King size bed was of a better quality. I found it weird that it had a flat sheet on top and the doona was initially just thrown in the cupboard. Usually it is fitted with the flat sheet. We used the doona the first day and then there after it was neat
It seems like what is advertised is not what is delivered...door was nit working properly..jacuzzi was not working...there was not enough towels...the room's phone was not working...not enough light to walk around at night..
Did not feel welcome, no help or indication on what to do . Boss was not friendly or helpful and could see he was not happy with some things but could not figure out what was going on .
Beautiful and quiet but service was very slow Used restaurant for meals and service very very very slow had to wait for staff to even acknowledge we were there then had to wait over an hour for our meals Staff were not very well versed in English and we had to repeat everything a few times Asked for a coke and a Diet Coke with two glasses of ice and they bought out a large glass of ice cream. Drinks were in a fridge that wasn’t even turned on and we’re room temperature Owner very helpful but has far too many staff just sitting around doing nothing ( no service) Went out for the morning and came back and room still not cleaned so had to sit outside whilst 5 ladies went I. And cleaned it then on second day no one came at all to clean it Pool area very tired looking needing cleaning badly Sun chairs covered in mould and mildew and cushions on sun chairs were disgusting and ripped and also covered in mildew
More fun activities
The bedroom was dirty bugs, water leaks
Rooms very modern
It's a pretty place, with lovely food at relatively low prices.
Was okay, but empty beer bottles were throw out here and there.
Perfect
Amazing guest service
Was conveniently located, quite and peaceful with beautiful surroundings, lovely beach and open waters. The room and all amenities were in immaculate condition, very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and showed anticipation. A special shout out to the Resort Manager, Krishneel Ram who was very professional, friendly, cheerful and engaging. I will be here again! Loved it.
Spacious rooms. The restaurant area needs renovations and thorough cleanup especially the wooden floors. Our room door lock was playing up.
Rooms, pool & restaurant were great. No transport or trips organised when asked about. A bit out of the way. Found Marina up the road which had great music, food & staff which we walked to otherwise had to call a taxi?
I booked through Expedia. Mgr threatened to cancel my booking if i did not pay another $41 extra.which i did as i was in need of a room for the night. This guy has almost zero people skills. I left after calling him an idiot.
Proximity to water and orphanage nearby.
The staff are exceptional. We felt like we were with family. The food is delicious!
beautiful location and nice villas. the crew needs to focus on cleanliness.
Nila Resort is a great stay for those looking for a quiet resort. The rooms are spacious, jetted tub and tv. They have a restaurant and bar but we didn’t have a chance to dine since our stay was limited to one night and we had a prior dinner reservation. The was some confusion when we first booked through Expedia- staff from the hotel called us personally to dispute the cost of our stay. I contacted Expedia and informed them of the call. Expedia and the hotel must of come to an agreement but it was the odd and set the tone for our stay.
Nice
this was basically a night stopover before early morning flight, the room was very spacious, well laid out, new & comfortable & restaurant had a great menu & excellent food. Although not a particularly inspiring area for a holiday there are some interesting things to see in the surrounding area & close to Airport & Nadi. Downside was that the grounds were fairly undeveloped & no real beach as that part of the coast seems to be mangroves so would have been very disappointed to have been there for a beach holiday however it suited our purposes well.
Pet friendly management. Thank you kindly for the consideration.
One night at Nila resort
The room was clean and very large as well as the bathroom. Bathroom has a spa but the water tap was not not discharging enough and it would take about two hours to fill!! Breakfast was the most basic continental breakfast I have ever seen!
Great place to stay if you enjoy the non-touristy side of Fiji, and if you like peace and quiet. A little bit far between both Nadi and Lautoka, so it is recommended to hire a car if you stay there.
5 star I will say
Was really good and we enjoy it a lot nice staff nice and great service and for sure we will use this place again and again
The room we got didnt had wifi at all. Upon checking we were given a room with twin bed for two people. And they need to improve on food
The place was nice and clean the room was spacious. Very friendly staff understanding and professional.
Very disappointed with this resort. No running water in first room, waited 40mins for staff to check. Changed to another room, hot water for shower but no hot water in jacuzzi. No shops nearby to buy water etc. very isolated.
