The Staff were excellent. Very friendly and always happy to help. We didn't like the bed arrangement as the sheets were to small to tuck in and constantly wound come off. The doova cover was the same, constantly coming off. And the room smelt like they sprayed so much disinfectant around the chemical smell was making us feel sick. It smelt like it had been sprayed on our pillows... it was everywhere. They need to stop spraying that stuff everywhere and just clean the room as it makes you feel ill. Apart from that its a great hotel and the staff are great.

We had a wonderful relaxing 4 night stay at this beautiful historic hotel. Gorgeous views of the lake ,island and mountains 24/7 . We were on the third floor in the superior suite which was magical. There truly were Condors flying outside our windows and everything we needed in the fully stocked room. The friendly helpful staff made this a highlight if our trip to South America.

Big room, stunning views, solid breakfast.

Excellent location

Stayed in the Panoramic suite, spectacular view, far removed from the street, so super serene, a great place to enjoy some quiet time. We enjoyed the spacious and comfortable room, large screen television, and the complete kitchen was a great bonus for us. Room cleaning, restaurant, front desk and grounds staff all excellent. Breakfast was great quality, basically the same each day, but what they provided was excellent, more than sufficient options, with superb service. Cons: Mattress and pillows were adequate, not great, and could be improved. Not a king size bed, but two twins joined. Towels appeared to have been once highest quality, but now well worn and should probably be replaced. We would definitely stay here again.

No TV in the whole stay and I’m a cancer patient and they stole my medicines. Terrible experience.

Liked the hotel a lot. The room was beautiful, and was about a 10 minute walk from the lake. Nice owners. Pool was a bit smaller than appeared.

The staff at the hotel were ggreat. I loved the use of wood in particular the big logs for support and decoration. The restaurant food is adequate but the wine selection is nice. Good. Breakfast in the mornings. Location is really good if you want to hike or sun bathe. Its not close to the center of Bariloche.

Good location and nice breakfast.

Disappointing stay

The room, bathroom in particular, was dirty on arrival - hair in the tub, etc. The hotel also charges for absurd things, like $4,500 Argentinian pesos for washing the dishes in the kitchen that comes with the room. We ordered room service for one night and it was genuinely one of the worst meals we’ve ever had - pasta was swimming in strange sauce, burger was almost raw. I hate leaving negative reviews but would avoid this place for the price.

The property is very nice and well kept. Room was large enough and with many amenities. Breakfast was included and was good enough although started kind of late ( 7:30am )for guests that needed to go on excursions. Could use a nicer staff at the front desk.

Receptionist and staff in general are very friendly, the breakfast was very good! Rooms are nice with a great view to the lake. Location is good, 10 min car drive to down town but right outside the city to make it more quite and with greater views to cerro catedral

I found my experience to be average, rating it a 7 out of 10. While the location was convenient and the overall stay was acceptable, there were several aspects that fell short of expectations. Facilities Update Needed:The hotel facilities are showing signs of age and could benefit from a renovation or update. could use modernization. Staff Solutions: overall they were nice. However Their responses felt indifferent.I told the internet was working and they did nothing. It was on and off all time Breakfast Needs Improvement: The variety and quality of the food could be improvides. Overall, while my stay was okay, these areas for improvement leave me feeling hesitant to return. I hope the hotel considers these suggestions to enhance the overall guest experience.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They addressed every question with knowledge and excellent service. Augustina and German were particularly helpful with suggestions for outings and electronic connections in our room. I would definitely return for another visit.

Beautiful boutique hotel with great views to the lake

Ok. Room had limited lake view. A bit of nickel and diming. One night free fireplace use regardless of the number of nights stayed. Ran us down to our car for the 3 cent plastic key.

Highly recommended, it made my stay at Bariloche wondering

On a beautiful part of the lake. Only 15 minutes by car or taxi to skiing. Restaurant served wonderful food. People were so nice. Hotel on a hill. So if you want the rooms with the best view, you will need to walk uphill. Staff very helpful to carry your luggage.

Great place

We really enjoyed our stay here! We took advantage of the spa and the restaurant, eating lunch and dinner on site once and spending time in the hot (warm) tub and getting massages. It was all really fantastic. Literally the only negative I can say is that spa facilities seem a bit worn down and like they need to be updated, particularly the hot tub that was not really hot.

Slow check in,very slow front desk stuff

We stayed in two different areas of the property. One had elevator access which greatly assisted us, the other didn't. This makes it very difficult for older, or disabled individuals

Beautiful

Very good but issue with luggage. The hotel is cabana style and transporting luggage to cabana, one luggage’s wheels were damaged.

Great hotel, the best part is the view! It’s stunning! The staff is friendly and helpful, the room is pretty comfortable too, but the pool could be bigger, it’s a bit crowded, I wish the breakfast area was bigger and with more options of healthy food, and I wish they would offer late check in.

The hotel is nice and cozy, the place where the hotel is located is very nice, the hotel food is acceptable, the service in general is good, only that the room they gave us was very far from the reception and when we arrived they did not take us bags to the room and had to carry it up a steep incline.

Luxurious stay

The hotel was excellent, the front desk service communicate with you via WhatsApp if you want and you can ask and order everything from there, from table reservations at restaurants to tour bookings and changes in your requests at the hotel. Specially Mario was super helpful and willing to solve immediately every matter that we put in his hands. Breakfast was good, it had a correct selection of salty and sweet stuff. I would have liked that the personnel would be more strict with people that weren’t wearing masks. Also several cups were cracked, it’s a bit of nitpicking but a 4atras hotel cannot miss these details. The room was amazing, very spacious and clean, the view to the lake was super good and the room service excellent, they were offering chromecast devices in case you wanted to stream smth to the tv. One down side was the fridge was empty, I would guess they would refill it with whatever you ask but would have been nice to have it filled already. Also, the fridge was making a terrible noise when starting so in the middle of the night it was a bit annoying.

Because Orbitz never cancelled my reservation I had to pay for rooms I didn’t use. Orbitz told me and emailed me they cancelled the reservation but didn’t do it.

Beautiful lake room view, nice hotel garden. Not so good pillows

Our suite was worth every penny. It’s a sunken bedroom and you open your eyes in the morning and the first thing you see is the beautiful view. The breakfast was good and the dining room has that same beautiful view. The new manager is very good. She helped us with a couple of minor problems and after reading the couple of poor reviews, you can tell she’s fixing all of the problems.

We had the highest room on the property which gave us a fantastic view of Lake Nahuel Huapi. I suspect other rooms have somewhat of the same view but not quite the same as the room we were in. The downside was that the building we were in was a tough walk up from the office where the restaurant and the main office was. The breakfast was less than exciting but the staff was supremely supportive and helpful. A little modernization of the facilities would make this property a 5-star facility.

The staff were very helpful and kind! The property is beautiful but a little dated as far as the pool/ spa area. The one time I used our whirlpool tub is leaked everywhere. They did come right away to fix it... didn’t use it again just in case it would happen again.

Great room with an amazing lake view. Nicolas in reception went above and beyond to schedule our last minute tour and spa appointments. The breakfast was good and the staff was always willing to accommodate your requests. Awesome service, thank you!

Spacious room, gorgeous views

Welcome was very personal - presented with an orange juice and taken to our room. The room was up the top of a steep hill with beautiful views over the lake. The staff were very friendly and willing to help with anything. The kitchen equipment was very light on with only one pot.

The room was spacious and had a wonderful view. Breakfast was pretty good. You must have a car if you want to see Bariloche, the hotel is quite far from downtown and taxis were a little expensive.

Beautiful place with Charm and Character

It is a beautiful hotel and spa! We were there for a very short time (one night) and did not take full advantage of their amenities. The service was great and they provided a delicious breakfast. It is a little ways away from city center (not walkable).

nice, but an annoying problem

Staff was helpful and friendly. Nice place with views as promised, and the staff helped me in a bind over a rental car problem. My one hitch could be Hotels.com's fault more than theirs, but it needs to be fixed by hotel or expedia. When we arrived, just over the border via the boat and bus trip, we were told that we had to pay a tax in Chilean pesos, cash only, in advance. I was told that the info was on the website where I booked, but it was not - our booking said all taxes were included. It was annoying to have to fork over the pesos that I thought would cover the first taxifare into town. And I'm lucky I had any pesos then.

The staff is outstanding making you feel at home . The view of the lake and the peaceful environment makes for the perfect vacation place. The hotel is 7 km away from downtown Bariloche but transport is available and staff helps you organize it .

Classic rooms but huge with great amenities. What an absolute fantastic view over the lake. Service by staff good. English speaking staff. Decent breakfast as well. Ideal place to stay a bit longer to recover partway through a long holiday. Very relaxing.

The view, dedication of the staff, friendliness of the staff and atmosphere were excellent! The rooms were nice and included nice jacuzzis and a big bay window with the view! Masseuse was excellent!! The room service was bad. The hotel seemed to be understaffed to handle large evening meals and were unable to get room service to rooms without the food arriving super cold. Reccomend additional staff for the evening meal to get food out quickly and hot as well as to rooms requesting room service.

The property has serious structural flaws (one of our rooms - but possibly others- and spa area in need of serious renovation) and management based on my experience is disingenuous. I had booked a super expensive suite for 3 over Christmas for my two daughters and myself. The cabins floors were heated through hot water pipes and in the upstairs room only one small window could be fully opened. It was unbearably hot at night, impossible to sleep, the sheets and bed felt warm to the touch. When I mentioned the problem the second day I was told it would be fixed. Turns out it wasn't, I had to call maintenance the second night & the mechanic explained that it had nothing to do with the heating but was due to a problem with the pipes. The front desk admitted as much the next day saying they had installed and air condition but did not have time to connect it as the place was booked. By then I hadn't slept for 2 nights and was headachy & upset. They offered me 2 rooms for our last night and suggested I should contact management to be compensated for the first 2 nights. Management offered free dinner although the front desk had just helped me to make a significant deposit at a local restaurant for our xmas dinner (it was our last night) and a free ride to the airport, although I had my own car. When I pointed out that this was not working for me for obvious reasons and that I was expecting a discount on the rooms instead, they simply refused. I really felt taken advantage off.

This place it’s amazing! Not in the downtoan of the city, but really well located. Great staff, the room was just like the pictures, the breakfast really good. I definitely would recommend this place for a nice, relaxing trip to Bariloche!

Wonderful stay!

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The location was ideal with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Staff was friendly, helpful, and willing to accommodate anyway possible. The rooms were a bit too warm for our comfort though.

Everything about our stay at Nido Del Condor was excellent. The staff was friendly, the room was cozy and comfortable, and the view was unbeatable. We also found the location, about 8 minutes from the center of town, was calm and convenient. I can't wait to go back!

Nice boutique feel

We had a great stay here and really highly recommended. It’s a small boutique hotel that has very much of a cabin feel with large rooms in breath taking views of the lake. The staff was very friendly and always willing to accommodate and made several suggestions that really helped making our stay memorable. They highly recommended some trips as well as car rentals and they made all the arrangements for us at no additional cost. The breakfast was good with made to order eggs. Overall we had a great experience and I highly recommend this place while visiting the area.

Superb!

Great hotel in Bariloche! Staff were really friendly, great location, had a relaxing time in the spa and the luxury cabin was fantastic. Open fire, great view of the lake, incredible bed. Had a superb stay!

Charming

The receptionist, Sophia was great, and helped us find a lost bag, and then went and retrieved it,. She is wonderful. The place is slightly dated, but charming. We had a fire in the fireplace, and a very enjoyable stay.

Great location and fabulous views

Very nice hotel in a superb location on the road from San Carlos de Bariloche to Llao Llao. The hotel is on a hill overlooking the beautiful Nahuel Huapi lake. From most rooms one can see the lake and the Huemul island. Rooms are ample and comfortable, some with a kitchenette. Gardens and pool are also very nice.

Hotel on Km.7

I booked the bedroom with lake view for my husband and I for two nights. When we arrived at the hotel we were assigned a family bedroom that was intended for 4-5 people that would enjoy an extended stay, since there was a sofa bed in the family room and a kitchen/dinning table. Our room didn’t have a lake view. There was a lake view from the window in the family room. The problem is some else had already occupied the room I booked, and the Hotel told me this was an Expedia misunderstanding since they only have one room with the specifications I already mentioned. The Hotel also told me will inform this to Expedia, and if the couple leaves early, they could assign it to me if we pay the price difference. This was totally mishandled. We didn´t want to make our stay unpleasant so we stop asking. I just don´t want this to happen again since blaming the website is always easier. We just wanted our cozy bedroom with lake view for two nights, not a vacation room.

Best hotel near Bariloche

Good Option.

It is proposed to be a Boutique Hotel, but is a nice hotel with good installations. Friendly Staff with limited service. The hotel is far from the city center and offers no shuttle like some other hotels.

My family and I spent 5 days in Bariloche during the summer, and we had an incredible time. The Staff at the hotel was super nice and helpful. My kids loved the pool. We had some very nice massages. The location was fine, if you have a car. It's not in the center of town and it's not on the lake but it has an awesome view of the lake. We didn't use the kids club so I can't give my opinion. And the only thing was that when we went it was hot and there was not a/c in the rooms and the windows were tiny so we were a little hot at night... but I would still go back.

Good location but missing a great chef

The room was fine, but it was unbelievable hot. The central heating could not be adjusted. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but the food quality was not very good.

Gorgeous Views

Nico del Condor Hotel & Spa was a gorgeous resort located on a hill overlooking the Lake Nahuel Huapi. We stayed in a room with panoramic views and a kitchen, and it was worth it to wake up everyday with the beautiful lake staring back at us. It was a cute resort with a decent pool (indoor/outdoor) and a good breakfast spread each morning. The staff were what earned this hotel the 5 star rating, however, as they were extremely accommodating and answered every question we had. We booked our tours through the staff at the resort as well and didn't regret it. The tour prices were cheaper than those we found online, however they were conducted in Spanish, not English (not an issue for us as we both studied Spanish for several years in high school/college and understood the guides for the most part). I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay during their trip to Bariloche. The staff have a lot of great restaurant recommendations as well. Enjoy!

Very helpful and informative staff. Beautiful setting

Nice hotel for Bariloche stay

I got a great room upgrade and which had a fantastic view of the lake and mountains. The staff were very helpful and attentive, especially Sofia at reception who spoke fluent English and helped book my tours through my stay. At the end of the day, most luxury hotels have the same facilities, but when the staff is genuinely kind and attentive, it makes the stay even better.

Unbeatable view

This hotel is where you want to be in Bariloche, close to everything, but away from the noise. The staff really helps to make the most out of your stay in Bariloche. The views from the rooms are incredible and you really feel at peace when you are enjoying the hotel facilities.

Great views from our room

So I'm a little at odds abour our experience. We spent little time in other places in Argentina so it's hard to determine if this was a specific experience or just normal for the country. The hotel was nice, solid breakfast buffet and SPECTACULAR views from our 2nd floor balcony and a GREAT jacuzzi in our room. But the staff at the front desk left a somewhat sour taste in our mouths. While they were accomodating they would say things like, "we'll call you back" only to not get a call. Also, not sure if it's normal in Argentina but if they tell you a taxi will be there in 15 mins be prepared to wait for up to an hour. To point out, we may have just been spoiled with our hotel service in Peru and Chile (and everywhere else we've ever been). They also claimed they were making updates to their internet service but holy crap. It's 2016 and most cafes have better internet service! It was frustrating not being able to look up places or contact family because of the often terrible internet. The floors of the room were the squeakiest I've ever walked on but thats a testament to the age and boutique style of the hotel. Also the staff would randomly come by in the evenings (around 8pm) to bring small pieces of chocolate. It seemed weird but they do do things kinda late in Bariloche. All in all I think we would strongly consider another place before going back to Nidor Condor.

In Love in Bariloche

Ir ways wonderfull, the hotel is ver y nice and well located, you do need taxi to go to the town of San Carlos Bariloche. The Hotel staff was incredible, especially Sofía, she organized our trip and we enjoyed the tours very much!!

One of the best meals in Bariloche

We thoroughly enjoyed the place and the service. Just want to add one thing. The best surprise was its restaurant which we didn't expect much as it's just a hotel restaurant. After having been to the famous restaurant right next door (where Clinton had visited), we found our hotel restaurant had better cooking and quality in food to offer, and not expensive or pretentious like next door.
