Aptly named Nice Hotel. Quaint and Quirky. Loads of character and charm. Spacious and well set out. Chef provided excellent food. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Handy to downtown New Plymouth. Would stay again if ever returning to the region.

Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Right next to a main road so could be a little traffic noise at night. Very central and right opposite St Mary's Cathedral
TravellerWe had a lovely time at The Nice. Great atmosphere, decor, close to CBD, waterfront & Pukekura Park. Staff were very pleasant & helpful. Great restaurant for dinner. Next time we'll book one of the rooms that doesn't back onto Vivian St, which gets very busy & noisy.

A fabulously sumptuous hotel in central New Plymouth, beautify decor and furnishings and friendly staff reminds me of the old Langham in Auckland before the “modernised” it.. Wine collection is extensive which is great to see, Food is beautiful presented and well made. So thank you making our stay in New Plymouth enjoyable. Only down side is some general maintenance could do with some TLC e.e broken locks, missing paint from doors and frames
