Front desk staff are very kind and helpful. Clean room ,comfortable bed with clean sheets and 2 pillows. Floors are clean and cleaned daily 👌 . Sauna was a treat. And breakfast was delicious 😋. 10 minutes feom Airport. 2 minutes to the train although down town is near and in good weather is a pleasure walk where you have the shopping and coffee shops everywhere with great selection of pastry's... We just loved every moment and definitely will come back. Thank you hotel NH !!!

Great value

This hotel is excellent for business or solo travel. Good location near a train station, great service, and some good amenities. I was a bit annoyed that the additional services like room service and ordering a bathrobe were not possible though.

Convenient that it is close to airport

Nice Hotel but !

Nice hotel good area and accessible. Bar staff so nice I enquired as to why the smoke detector in our room had a plastic bag wrapped around it. Still waiting for an answer as this could have be an issue On checking in they asked my wife did we want the room cleaning. For what the nightly charge was I would expect cleaning each morning to be standard No doubt we will receive a standard response from the hotel. Let’s wait and see

Great loaction, good for families

This hotel was right on the corner and easy to get to as well as parking was underground and convenient. We had two kids and the hotel set up two twin beds with a container of candy and a game for each kid. That was a very lovely touch. Rooms were not super spacious but it was clean and functional. Location was safe and good walking distance to the main touristy areas. There is also a Lidl and Mcdonalds a couple minutes walk away.

Great staff

Not a bad hotel but, our room smelled moldy/damp/funky. The hallways did as well so fairly sure it wasn’t just our room. Beds were comfy. The location is further away than you’d prefer to walk and the price doesn’t make up for it. Won’t stay here again.

The property was ok but not what we expected from a 4 stars hotel. The property it’s not in the city center or in a pedestrian zone, not so convenient if you are on foot. Check-in procedure was easy and staff very kind.

Good hotel but needs to improve on customer service

Had a mixture of both good and bad service from the front desk. The first personnel wasn't very friendly nor helpful during checked in and during checked out, we suspected she has mistaken us as another guest so insisted we haven't paid for the room when in fact we did. Luckily we were able to access our online banking to show her our bank transaction record when she wouldn't accept the statement from the online booking company. The room is quiet, spacious and clean. The breakfast is good too although some guests still didn't know how to practise social distancing. The location is not walkable to city centre but there is a tram stop 5 minutes walk away and the area felt safe.

Excellent and affordable

Excellence price. Booked for couple and two kids and they gave us two attached rooms. Very clean rooms and comfy beds. You can pay for hotel underground parking or use free, safe, street parking if you can get a spot. To top it up, the buffet breakfast was good quality.

The room was clean, but the air condition did not well. Opening the window was more comfortable than running the AC. If uou are looking for a room with AC, look elsewhere. The breakfast was great!

We had a very enjoyable stay at NH Dresden Neustad

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at NH Dresden Neustadt. The staff were pleasant and helpful, breakfasts were delicious, and the room was spacious clean and comfortable. Our only suggestion for improvement would be the provision of a hot drinks machine on each floor (or better still tea/coffee making facilities in all rooms as standard.

There was a long wait to check in with only 2 people at the front desk. We were surprised at how expensive breakfast and parking was at this location further out of the center of the city. The pillows were a bit flat and the bed a bit hard. It was also very difficult to get into the fitness center because our key card was not working and we had to go down to the lobby twice to try and fix it.

It was close to the tram stop so you could sight see. It had a great shopping strip and great pub nearby.

18€ for over night parking

Comfortable but not up to the usual NH standard.

NH Dresden Neustadt is OK overall, the hotel is some distance from the city although the price is reasonable. Parking at 16 Euro /night is ridiculously expensive. No way was I paying 32 Euro for 2 nights parking. I suggest free parking across the road but accessed around the corner using GPS 51.03774 13.738713, check on google and you'll note its a 1 minute stroll to the hotel.

A nice stay

We enjoyed the hotel very much, it was clan and the service was superb..

My german is not the greatest, i found the reception staff quite rude and not very helpful and when i asked a question, i felt that the man behind the desk didnt wanna answer, like it was a tough one.

Place is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

Hotel itself is good and breakfast was excellent also I liked the location. There were 2 minus, on the live site they inform that it is with free parking, but they charge 16 Euros per day, and when asked about the free parking, I was told that is free on the street which for me makes not so much of sense, specially because there are full indications around the hotel "NH Parking", directing to the 16 Euros (without tax). The second minus is the WiFi, not really good one.

Very good hotel! Much traffic around but good window insulation. Good bed. Spacious room. Level of AC at the guests own choice = very good. Excellent breakfast. Quite far from city centre but frequent tram services close to the hotel.

Location is really good! Close to the center and there’s plenty of parking spots around. Breakfast also good, totally worth it. AC wasn’t working properly and the water from the shower was switching from cold and hot, but still, didn’t have much impact in my overall experience. I totally recommend!

Value for money

The hotel was okay for the price. The buffet and breakfast were very good and most of the staff were friendly. However, I wasn’t happy with the WiFi, which was very poor.

Basic hotel. Room was clean and simple. The most important reason to choose this hotel was the free parking as written on expedia. But I have discovered at the recepton that parking was extra and 16 euros. The wireless was probably the worst I had in a hotel in the last 8-10 years. We had to have the breakfast outside somewhere as it was 50 usd extra. So, not a cheap hotel as perceived with these facts. Probably will not prefer again.

Solid hotel with underground parking

Solid hotel. exactly what you would expect from an NH Hotel. While located a bit in the middle of nowhere, it's located conveniently between Autobahn and city center, with public transport nearby, an underground parking garage and in (almost) walking distance to the Neustadt neighborhood with lots of bars and restaurants

two night stay

everything was good, friendly staff, the rooms are of a good size and as described. I was given breakfast for free which was a cut above most hotel breakfasts but i still wouldnt want to pay for it. is walkable to the new town and old town.

Quiet and clean hotel

Although a little bit of a way to get to the old city this is a quiet hotel and very clean. Make sure that the staff let you know that you can buy tram tickets there because one of the staff forgot to mention that to us. Breakfast quite expensive go to the Lidl supermarket just down the road instead.

Very nice hotel in Neustadt!

Wonderful hotel, close to Neustadt train station and tram stops. McDonald's and major grocery store across the street. Within walking distance of major attractions. Very clean and comfortable rooms, with top notch staff and service! Would definitely stay again!

Nice hotel if you want be away from everything

The room is very dated. The breakfast was great and the hotel lobby are all nicely updated. The hotel is pretty far from the city center though. There isn't much around the hotel.

yes, it is ok but too expensive for being mediocre

NH hotels pretend to be much grander than they really are. I would have liked a value for money breakfast option but their own breakfast is too expensive and i eat very little, i do not want to spend a lot on one toast is the morning. Coffee and tea making facilities is a given in B&Bs even but not at the NH who do not even provide a kettle in the room and a cup, so a tired guest could have a cup of tea. When checking in, a group of very rude people just jumped the queue and the hotel staff was quite ok with it despite the fact that i was tired after a long drive. Even when i loudly protested there was no care given by the staff. and lastly the hotel room price did not include their bizarre city tax, so there is always a bit more to pay when staying with NH. this was the last time i booked a room with NH hotels.

Great location near the Neustadt, which is great

A football (soccer) match was going on at the time of my stay and the bar was a happening place. The wait staff was great, friendly, and attractive. The prices were comparable to a restaurant and not a hotel, and the place was really well designed. Plenty of space and great location. It's a great place to stay while in Dresden, even if you are on vacation. It is better than staying in the touristic Altstadt, only because you can actually get your car in and out of the parking garage without hassle. Unfortunately parking is a bit expensive, but if you don't mind leaving your car parked in general parking on the curb, then just do that.

Nice city trip

Very nice, clean and comfortable city hotel. It has everything you'd expect, not more, bit that's fine, especially considering its price. The only downside is the location. I thought (looking at a map) that it would be half way between the airport and the city, however neither is easily reachable by public transport, so consider some taxi expenses when planning to visit this Hotel.

We arrived and were made to wait over an hour for our room to be ready. The hotel was virtually emplty and there was no reason to make us wait for a room that smelled like body odor when we arrived. We were 3 adults, promised 3 twin beds. But, there was no real 3rd bed, it was a rollaway. At least this time, there was room for the bed in the room and we could move about the room freely. We paid upfront on arrival. On checkout they wanted to then charge us extra for having 3 adults in the room when they knew ahead of time. I refused to pay this especially after making us wait over an hour for a room with a rollaway bed. I will not go back to this hotel. Also, their breakfast was 16Euro- that is a crazy price. There were plenty of places nearby with more afforable prices for breakfast.

Convenient for the Airport and the Town

A good business hotel. Friendly and well trained staff, good bar and restaurant. About 10 mins by taxi to the centre of town ( 2 mile walk = 35 mins) and about 15 - 20 mins to the airport by taxi depending on traffic. I have now stayed here twice and I would stay again.

Good option for travellers

Enjoyed staying this hotel. It's main drawback, for us as independent travellers, was it's distance from the attractions of Dresden. However, we coped with the distance factor (as you do) and it in no way detracted from the richness of the Dresden experience. If you had a car, it would be perfect.

Nice new hotel, a bit far from the sights

The hotel is new and modern. I only wish I had booked in the old town centre instead: this one is located a bit far out from the sights. There are trams a short walk away, but it's not the nicest area for walking at night. Bonus for beer drinkers - a huge beer shop just across the street from the hotel. Paying for parking is never fun, but it seems fairly standard in Germany.

American style - nice!

Gorgeous new and American style hotel out of city center. Take an 8 min walk to a 15 min tram ride to town. Room was nice, spacious. A cot was brought in even though a sofa sleeper was available. Shower had small evidence of mold growing between the pristine white tiles. Breakfast was very expensive, so we went elsewhere. I found a "summer discount" code via Trip Advisor that would have netted us free breakfast - had I only known!

Great value and breakfast, rooms need updating

We stopped over in Dresden one night between Prague and Berlin, and this hotel was perfect for this purpose. The exterior/lobby are nice and give a great first impression. Rooms are dated, but fine given the rate we got. Breakfast was included in our rate and very good. Had everything including bacon, smoothies, and local specialties. Street parking is free, plentiful, and seemed safe.

A good hotel

I stayed for two nights on a business trip and the hotel met all of my needs. It was modern and clean with well trained, friedly and helpful staff. The restaurant and bar were both good. It is about a 30 minute stroll to the centre of town, but there is also a tram on the road outside the hotel. I would stay here again.

Modern and efficient - but a bit out of town

The hotel is very modern and well designed. The room was very comfortable and a lot of thought had gone in to making sure that everything worked well. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast buffet was good. Location is in a redevelopment area near the Neustadt station and is not ideal for getting to the old town but that's really the only downside.

Top hotel at a great price.

Classy hotel with friendly, helpful staff. A well run chain hotel. A twenty-minute walk away from the main sights. That said, it's an interesting walk through an arty area with great places to eat away from the crowds. Good trams if you prefer not to walk. A few minutes away from a LIDL for cheap quality eats (and other stuff) and a McDonalds for a proper cup of tea, because there's no kettle in the room. I couldn't fault it, but it might not be for everybody.

Close to train station and public transportation.

Overall a good experience. Location and access to local restaurants and transportation is within 2-10 min. You can be at any attraction in Dresden in less than 20 min.

Dresden is worth visiting

There are many interesting places and things to visit in Dresden. It is a very old, historically significant town. The Frauenkirche and Marktplatz as well as the river are all fantastic places to see, walk around and visit.

Hotel is in the newer part of Dresden. Good amenities such as meeting rooms and restaurant. Very clean. Friendly staff.

If you just look at map, it seems that it's quite long from downtown. But it's just 10 minute distance by getting on the tram number 3. The price is quite good and the staff is very nice etc...

Excellent

Really was a great place to stay. Great rate and was a first time stay with NH and will definately stay with them again. The location is a few tram stops away from the city centre but Dresden had 24hr transport so it works out really well.

Nice hotel a little walk from the main centre

The only thing that was a downer was having to pay for the parking but apart from that the hotel was clean, with nice decor and new furnishings, we've just spent 4 days touring and this was by far the most comfortable of the four hotels we stayed in and they were all in the same price range. Sauna, dry and wet were great. It was about a 30 min walk into the city centre which we didn't mind at all.

Central hotel

Hotel easy to find in Dreaden near train station and McDonald's . Parking in underground car park easy for hotel and bags . Room clean and spacious with mini bar . Restaurant food lovely . Would recommend .

First impression

When we first checked in, we had issues with the wifi. We attempted to check in with the front desk agent and he was very rude. He didn't even attempt to fix our issue and also stated that it was an issue with our phones. That's impossible being that it wasn't our devices that were having issues. But anyways, he wasn't very helpful.

Nice Dresden experience

Staff personnel friendly and fast checkin. Room was excellent and clean. Everything looked new! Breakfast was nice and had many chives of cereals, fruit, bread and hot and cold beverages. I left the car outside on the street and had no problems finding a spot to park. Leave the car in the garage if no place is outside but you will be charged to park on the garage. Tram station is about 300 meters away from hotel and this takes you directly to the city center.

Fairly good location

The air conditioning was not as cool as we needed. It was a pretty good walk to the Metro stop. Parking was difficult. Not awful.

Nice hotel on edge of town

Stayed 2 days in this hotel. The hotel is located around a 30 minute walk into the main centre of Dresden. The hotel is modern and has a quality breakfast on offer every morning. Nice bar area with restaurant and bar snacks.

Nice hotel not to far from the bus to sight seeing

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The bed was large and comfortable... love the bath with hand held shower head. Only drawback for me was the warmth, I like my room cold and it was a little to loud to leave the windows open. Other than that, I liked the breakfast, the service and the facilities.

Good value Dresden option

At first it seemed this hotel is a bit out of the way, not being really in Altestadt or the main part of Neuestadt. But it is no problem once you are familiar with the trams. In consolation you get a less expensive hotel with all the comforts thrown in. Recommended.

Great hotel in the Neustadt

The hotel is on the other side of Neustadt, which looks miles away from the station on a map, but in reality, isn't that far. The room was very big and the bed comfortable. Internet access was free, although quite slow.

Hotel was easy to get to from Autobahn. Streetcars were close by to get into town. Very well managed hotel with nice rooms and facilities. Would stay again if visiting Dresden.

Great Hotel For a Reasonable Price

The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpfull as we were going to city centre which was 3 km away.We took the tram from just around the corner from the hotel right to city centre The continental breakfasts were very good quality including smoked salmon and fresh brochen (buns). While a little overpriced (16 euros) we quite enjoyed it. Overall an excellent stay.

Das Personal im Hotel ist überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist super für Familien geeignet, es gab bei der Ankunft Geschenke und Süßes für die Kleinen. Vom Lärm der Straße ist im Zimmer nichts zu hören, selbst vom Zug der neben dem Hotel lang fährt. Nur das Frühstück und das Parken in der Tiefgarage ist völlig überzogen. In den Seitenstraßen gibt es gratis Parkmöglichkeiten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nicht weit entfernt. ÖPNV ist in der direkten Umgebung und in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Wer mit dem Auto in die Innenstadt möchte, der sollte im Parkhaus der Semperoper parken (super günstiger Tagestarif).

Wir waren sehr zufrieden im Hotel

Verkehrsgünstig gelegen, wenige 100m bis zur Straßenbahn - wir waren innerhalb von 15 Min. auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und der Service ist ausgezeichnet.
