Great place. Very convenient. Walking to many places and fantastic service and food. A bit pricey but you get what you pay
This is a great location. Walkable to all the sights in Rome. Modern and clean. The staff was very helpful. Add the breakfast to the room. It is well worth it and convenient.
Staff were really nice
1. Breakfast was the same everyday and could use some variety. Refilling took so long that there were often empty stations (especially eggs). Beverage jugs malfunctioned on 2 occasions. 2. The rooms were not ready at 3pm and we had to keep waiting. 3. The quality of the airport transfer arranged was poor. Drivers were late, looked at the phone whilst speeding and made passengers feel unsafe.
Convenient location.
I didn’t receive any updates of room or a free water in the room and the view was to the side not to de front. My daughter’s bed was really uncomfortable

Great location
A beautiful hotel in a fabulous location. Great rooms and a nice breakfast. Only negative for us was that the mattress was very firm. That’s a personal opinion though. Would definitely stay again
A simple elegant nice hotel in the center of Prati, Rome. A great location.
Great location for shopping, restaurants and historical sights.
My wife and I really enjoyed our time here at the hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the location was fairly central to a lot of the things we wanted to do. We did everything from the Vatican, to the Colosseum / Roman Forum, Borghese Gallery, Trevi, Trastevere, day trip to Assisi, and various other little excursions. We were able to walk, find a bus, or get a metro to everything from here. To get to and from FCO airport, it was a flat $55 Euro taxi fee (as of January 2025). One of the highlights was actually the breakfast. We were expecting some basic pastries, deli meats, and hard-boiled eggs, but we enjoyed some of the best croissants we had in Italy, eggs, sausage, bacon, various fresh fruit juices, delicious coffee, fruit, and more. There were also lots of great restaurant options around the hotel within walking distance (4 to 10 minutes). Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Rome!
Not NH standard
Too far from all the historic sights. Uber to everywhere. They charge for water, ice etc. Not well kept. Needs an unpgrad3 and better maintenance
This hotel was amazing! One of the best decisions we made was to stay here. The staff was friendly and accommodating—especially helpful for my son's food allergies. The room was spacious and clean. There's a nice grocery store next door. It's a quiet neighborhood. There are great restaurants nearby, and the one in the hotel is great also. Beds are very comfortable. Quiet room. The only thing of note is that our tub was very high and deep--whereas that's not a bad thing, you do have to be careful not to fall getting yourself out of the shower/tub. Might be difficult for someone older. Maybe that was just our room, not sure if they all have tubs this high/deep. Anyway.... It is a gorgeous hotel, and we felt very well cared for. They also spoke wonderful English, so there was no language barrier, if that is a concern. I would give this six stars if I could! Loved it!!!
Great location and facilities
Overall this is a great Hotel and we enjoyed staying here. We loved our room (Junior suite) which was spacious and had a balcony with a great view which was a nice surprise. The lobby area is welcoming, open and very nice. We personally loved the location, it was perfect for us as it was definitely walkable to lots of great locations and convenience shops, but also not in the centre where it's super busy. You can walk to lots of main attractions within around 20/25mins which is definitely worth it with all the beautiful surroundings you pass. There is a main road full of high street shops just a few minutes away and lots of lovely restaurants and gelato shops and cafes all within a short walk. All staff were also lovely and the house keeping staff did a great job and topped up things we needed. The only things that let us down were that we found the hot breakfast buffet cold. However there is a great selection and you can order eggs to your preference. We also had poor shower pressure but that might have just been an issue with the room we were in. We would recommend staying at this hotel. Overall we had a good comfortable stay.
Shower room is not the best. Water go out sometimes
Great staff. Cheyenne was amazing!
Great hotel
Property was close to the Varican
Great location for a comfy hotel.
It was a comfortable hotel, as the NH group usually are. It's in a great location away from the crowded noisy areas of Rome. Plenty of good restaurants in the area and great for a late night or early morning walk. Nice and quiet. I would stay there again.
The room was large and very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Convenient, friendly staff, clean, spacious bedrooms.
Clean
Good location and good hotel
It was clean and nice hotel. Rooms are so good and big for the European standards . Like it a lot and was close to everything . Walking distance to shops and restaurant. Vatican City and Angela castle .
Very friendly staff and nice!
Room was amazing with a nice balcony and view. Upgraded our room at no charge. The bed was so comfortable and the staff was super helpful. Parking underground is tight if you arrive with a vehicle!!
Modern and we'll located hotel with big rooms. View on Vatican is awesome from the balcony
It was perfect
Excellent! Great customer service, friendly staff. After checking in and being in our room for a few mins, front desk staff called to ask how we liked our room. In the lobby- they have a table with flavored water, bottled and sparking for guests as well as licorice and candy. Rooms had good flow and beds were super comfy. Breakfast was lovely-huge selection of items. Loved how they offered vegan yoghurt , lots of fresh fruit and pastries. Location- there’s a super market next door as well as a post office and atm. 8 min walk to subway. Five min to castel San Angelo , ten or twelve min walk to piazza novena, twenty to trevi fountain. Preferred staying in this area as it’s quite central and not in area mobbed by tourists. Highly recommend.
Nice staff, safe area, quiet, clean, comfortable bed, multiple 110V and 220V electrical sockets, easy 15 minute walk to the Vatican.
Excellent
I really enjoyed my stay at NH Collection Roma Giustiniano - it’s a nice, neat and clean 4 star hotel that is conveniently located with walking distance of many tourist sights and shops. The bits that really made this hotel stand out for me was the customer service. The team were all really helpful, ensured we have a lovely room with a view of the Vatican and even sent a little treat of fruit and desert in our room, which was a lovely surprise. The breakfast buffet is plentiful with many options and we enjoyed the different selection of fruit, pastries and cake every day. Overall a great experience!
Good hotel, but if you are looking for local tourism location is not very convenient. It is better book in Spanish steps.
Great place in the heart of Rome
The hotel is average but close to some tourist sites. We walked going to the Vatican and Trevi fountain. There are several good restaurants in the area too.
Appreciate the staff customer service. Everyone at front desk were nice. Best location, quite area, walking distance to Vatican and attractions. Highly recommend this property.
NH Rome
Service was terrible from the moment we arrived until the moment we left just a simple task as cleaning our room after I told the front desk to please clean the room. We returned to the Room was not clean. I asked them to bring me towels and they brought the towels two hours later. Call the many occasions to get a steamer for my clothes. They never brought it. We called many times. I went downstairs to get it and bring it back to them. I asked for the Porter this morning to to get my bags and he never showed up we had her bring our bags down. The service was terrible.
Great hotel and located in great area Pratti) the breakfast buffet was a little expensive but was awesome. The stag is very kind and professional. I like my room is very clean and spacious. I recommended!
3 days in Rome
Very good location, close to the Vatican. We were provided our room early (not too common in Europe) and got upgraded to a balcony corner room with view of the Vatican (thank you Alessandro). Amazing help on tours, places to see and eat at by Marika! Very complete and delicious breakfast making for a fantastic 3 day stay in Rome.
Great location for attractions! Friendly staff and clean. Very good breakfast.
Friendly & helpful staff
The hotel is at a walking distance from the Vatican & many touristic sites.
Excellent service of the staff , specially Alessandro
Great location walking distance to any tourist attractions
The property had construction going on outside and inside the hotel. I was given a unclean room and discovered black mold around the windows...lots of black mold. You are not able to control your own thermostat to the temperature of your liking. The hotel had the heater on when we were sweating. Had to open the windows and hear all the screaming and noise from outside. Showed staff the pictures of the mold, built up dust in the vents and the bathroom; they didnt care. The only plus to the hotel was they ordered a taxi to the airport, which was cheaper than getting myself. Also, the breakfast buffet is very nice.
Lovely hotel with really nice staff. Superb location in Prati. Every major sight was walkable within 20 minutes and wonderful restaurants and shops were just at the top of the road. The only slight drawback was that the hotel was being refurbished when we stayed. Otherwise, everything was great.
NH Collection never disappoints. Enjoyed our stay. They are renovating and that didn’t affect our experience.
We arrived early and Michele gave us free early check-in because our room was available. We arrived at approximately 9:30 from the airport. Room had a nice size bedroom and a nice size living room with a desk if you happened to want to work in the room. Ammenities included shower soaps, shampoos, conditioners, lotions and hair dryer, so you don't have to pack those things if you are staying here. There was even a toothbrush and paste. They order you a cab anytime you need one and it arrives in 4 minutes or less. There are restaurants and stores a block away. It us a 5 minute walk to Castel Sant'Angelo and a 10 minute walk to the Vatican. Very safe area and there is a small grocery store basically next door. A great place to stay with a very comfortable bed. Enjoy!
Overall this was an excellent stay. Location is great and there is a small market right at the corner as well as a couple of restaurants that stay open late. Staff was great and very friendly. The front desk person that checked us in noticed that it was my girlfriend’s birthday and sent up a cake with a handwritten birthday card from the general manager. We included the breakfast option and overall it was worth it. Plenty of breads, pastries, cereal, cold cuts, cheese, eggs, bacon and sausage. Also coffee/espresso machines and fresh juices. Walkable to almost everything. Pantheon was about a 20 minute walk, castle st Angelo was a 12-15 min walk, Vatican Museums was about a 12-15 min walk, Colosseum was about a 40-45 min walk, Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain was about a 25 min walk. All in all major sites/attractions are walkable. Area is safe and quiet. Takes about 35-50 min (depending on time of day) to get to/from airport. Rooms are spacious and close to American standards (seems like room size and bed size is generally small in Europe). I would recommend and stay again at this hotel in the future.
The property is well located close to the Vatican super walkable We couldn’t check in early we have to wait until 3 pm The staff is super nice and helpful Breakfast buffet was great The reseption was under construction so super loud but not from the rooms We had a great time
Breakfast $28 per person but nothing to eat !
Great front desk service and clean rooms
Did not have wifi access for 24 hours.
I’m only staying at NH collections from now on! Had a great experience !
Nice location. We walk to everywhere from there. The neighborhood was our favorite. Neat facilities and friendly staff. Btw, walk means walkable not close, is around 5 km to center Rome and 1 km to Vatican but it's worth it!
Comfortable and big rooms. Staff were very helpful. Good location!
Friedly staffs, beautiful hotel, and delicious breakfast. Walking distance to Batican. I'll stay here again
Excellent hotel and amazing service! Alessandro checked us in and was warm and inviting. His restaurant recommendations were excellent!
Location was great and the surrounding area was very walkable. Great location to avoid the congestion of other parts of Rome. Hotel was clean and the room was spacious.
Excellent services and location
Spectacular view of St Peter’s Basiica from my balcony. Very clean and up to date rooms.
Michelle (front desk) was very nice, pleasant and helpful. A great asset to the hotel.
.
Perfect location - near Vatican city and hub for hop on and hop off busses, yet away from the crowd (quiet)
Very good
Great hotel near the center of Rome. Walking distance to Vatican museums, Colloseum is also not far away. Great breakfast selection, friendly staff. Parking is limited and can be tricky to find a spot, but the parking facility itself is underground and is fairly secure.
Wanted to check out the moment we entered the room. Toilet squeaks soo loud even if I use a finger to press it down, bed is super old and uncomfortable (woke up with pain all over), hair dryer needs replacing (it was completely peeling), luggage holder is broken, phone is broken, USB plugs are broken, etc. So many things are broken, it makes me question their cleanliness as well.
Like everything about the hotel
Great hotel I would definitely stay here again
The property location is excellent. It is convenient for all of Rome Touristy things. The staff were good. They were very busy and hence had less time to attend to each guest. Though they tried very hard. The rooms were excellent size. Stayed in Junior Suites. We stayed for 11 days. Bed was comfortable. I think the hotel management needs to look into how they are providing amenities like tea and coffee in the room. Had to ask for them multiple times as they were not refilled every day. In fact we were told that they may not have black tea so can only give us fruity packs. That is not tea. A four star hotel is a luxury hotel and at that price one does expect to get a tea bag every morning without having to ask for it over and over again everyday. Especially considering we were there for 11 days and booked in 2 junior suites. All in all I would recommend the hotel but wish they would upgrade housekeeping to make it truly a four star hotel.
Still staying at the property. Will update review. Had multiple bookings. The hotel staff is really busy but courteous. Housekeeping needed reminders most days for coffee and milk pods and tea replacement but was supplied on calling. Hated to disturb them since they are busy but had no options.
We stayed top floor in a suite at the back of the property, extremely quiet location with lots of restaurant and shopping options within a 10 minute walk.
Hotel was good with the exception of no ice machine for guests. Also I didn't like the fact that the hotel did not provide me an itemized receipt for the stay, stating that I had to contact Expedia because I booked through their site. I've never been told that by any other hotel.
I paid extra for a 'terrace.' Mine had not even a chair and was completely fenced in. Some in front and of course on the pictures had chairs and an open terrace but mine was not as shown.
Don’t think twice, book it!
Wonderful service from the moment you walk through the doors! Friendly staff, clean rooms, and most importantly they have AC! The ladies at reception were fabulous!
The staff was wonderful, from Roberta at the front desk, and Rogelio a cleaner, Roberto at the bar and Annabella that serviced our room, the workout facility was perfect for what we needed and we had an excellent experience!
Was a horrible experience Everything was dirty, cleaning service nonexistent.
Excellent costumer service
Perfect location in downtown Rome. Very comfortable stay!
Cozy, comfortable and very conveniently located hotel in the quiet Prati district, close to the Vatican and near the Via Cola di Rienzo with great shops. The staff is very warm, friendly, and extremely helpful - shoutout to Alessandro, Michelle and Ian at the front desk, and Agnese Eva at the restaurant! We had a junior suite, spacious and with very cold a/c which was a Godsend in the Roman summer. The room had an accordion door so my daughter loved having her own space. The bathroom was always very clean, and the amenities are installed in big pump bottles so you never run out of soap or shampoo. The closets were generously sized. There was a mini fridge in the room too which we used to store our drinks. Breakfast was a feast - the usual eggs (scrambled or hard boiled), bacon, sausage, vegetables (peas, green beans, grilled tomatoes), an array of fruit juices, fresh sliced fruit, cereals, yogurt, a vast selection of breads, pastries, cold cuts, and cheeses, and a drink machine that made your choice of espresso, cappuccino, hot chocolate, and much more. it really kept us fueled up until early afternoon. Our last day there was my birthday, and Agnese Eva at the restaurant presented me with a nice little dish of pancakes and fruit with a candle. I so appreciated that gesture! All in all, we enjoyed our stay, we highly recommend it, and would definitely stay here again.
Great location. Rooms need a refresh.
Room was of good size with balcony and great views but the furnishings were dated and sub standard for a 4 star property. Service was adequate but not noteworthy. Great neighborhood, close to tourist locations but outside of the crazy zone. Lots of walkable restaurants and shopping.
The AC did not work in one of the rooms I had -they were not able to fix it after several attempts. The housekeeping service kept forgetting to restock teas /sugars. But the room was clean. The linen was bad - no top sheet - just a fitted and a bed spread comforter. Elevators kept breaking - The breakfast meals were offering a wide variety of choices - but u had to ask them to re-stock….. bacon and sausage was under cooked. Crazy thing - u had to drag luggage up stairs to get to elevator. Dinner menu was limited.
Excellent
Family Vacation
The hotel receptionist Michelle was professional and helpful, we have a very warm welcome after a long trip from Florence. Located just few minutes away from metro station and some bus station that can reach most of the attraction in Rome. The surrounding area was quiet can can avoid the crowd which is good for us. Overall experience was good and would be better if the room would have a bit upgrade as the room decor was a bit out of date.
Good hotel.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are so comfortable and the AC is top tier lol.
Super clean, friendly and helpful staff, excellent location.
Dirty filthy room 111 horrible experience Room not only dirty and filled with mosquitoes Can ffee machine did not work, o e bath towel dirty, walls disgusting
The hotel was very clean and rooms were very spacious and air conditioned. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast reasonably priced and lots of selection. My room had a balcony overlooking the street which was lovely in the evening. We only stayed one night, but would definitely stay again!
Property was convenient and staff were helpful. Room was large and nicely appointed. Shower is a little slippery but that is only real complaint.
As someone who’s stayed in lot of hotels in Rome, this hotel is perfectly located. Beautiful neighborhood, good bars and restaurants within blocks and close to the river and major sites but slightly away from the hordes or tourists. The hotel itself is pretty basic and nothing particularly noteworthy. The bathroom needs an upgrade and the large hotel restaurant was empty at every sitting - so didn’t try it. The house keeping and reception staff could not be faulted. However, we had an incident where I tried to plug in the coffee machine to the outlet and was given a bad electric shock and caused a blackout in the room. I had pins and needles in my arm for two days. I reported this as a safety issue and no action was taken or apology offered which was concerning. On the whole though the hotel was good.
Great location close to most tourist attractions and restaurants. The staff very helpful.
I keep staying at Expedia "VIP" properties and never get any amenities they say you're supposed to receive. This was more of the same but it's a very nice hotel. I highly recommend it, great location, great breakfast, clean property and nicely appointed rooms. I'd stay here again.
Welcoming Staff
Upon checking in, the staff is warm and welcoming! We especially appreciate Michelle’s attention to details and accommodating ways. The hotel location is perfect for us in Prati! We hope to stay here again for all our future visits.
Amazing location, great breakfast and friendly staff! Would stay here again.
Wonderful staff, very friendly. Very nice looking hotel. Location is great and within minutes of city center. Overall A
Beautiful clean property and they upgraded us when we checked in! Room is amazing with a balcony. My son slept in an extra bed of the suite and said he loved it! Overall amazing hotel and facilities.
Very nice and clean hotel.
So we ended up staying here as a result of an issue with our original accommodation. The staff are exceptionally professional and pleasant. The breakfasts in the morning were superb and the room standards were very good. The bathrooms could do with a little bit of TLC as a four star hotel, however overall we had a fantastic stay. There are a number of restaurants locally and you are about 20 minutes walking from Vatican City and all attractions are well within walking distance. You might want to venture across the bridge for some more of the traditional alleyway restaurants.

“The location is very convenient if you’re planning to stay near the Vatican. However, the hotel lacks the charm you’d expect in Rome. The building is old, the air conditioning never worked properly, and the rooms feel more like a basic business hotel—not luxurious at all. Breakfast was quite average. Overall, it felt overpriced for what it offers. I wouldn’t stay there again.”
