Comfortable, clean, high quality and an exceptional staff.

Had a great stay at the NH Collection Quito Royal. The front desk set us up with a driver to do some sightseeing at the last minute, and the driver was great. They conveniently held our bags after we checked out, and even offered us a late check out (one hour) for free. Room was spacious and clean, and water pressure was perfect. It was easy to get taxis/ubers as well. Would definitely stay there again!

Calm in La Mariscal

NH Collection Quito was an oasis. Rooms were super clean and spacious. The front desk gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants. We had stayed in the historic center the week before. We were really glad we came to this area for a change.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff was so nice and made my stay extremely comfortable. The area was safe and was centered in a great location next to other restaurants if you wanted something different than the restaurant on the property. They had a decent gym that had enough to get a work out in. The room was spacious and had all the essentials. The room service was great and great prices. I literally had no complaints and if I ever go back to Quito, I would return to the hotel.

Very friendly and efficient staff, very clean and well appointed rooms with fantastic views. The food was outstanding, excellent choice and always more than enough, well-done to the team, we'll be staying again.

The buffet was good but needed to be replenished more often. Other than that it was a great stay.

Super staff! I accidentally dropped $380.00 in cash when I checked out. Heading to Baños. I got a call from the front desk telling me they found the money and after checking video they determined it was mine. I couldn't believe it. They held it for me until I returned to Quito. WOW!!

This hotel is very nice, the Breakfast is Amazing please add the breakfast to your stay... Dinner ok lots of places around the hotel for Dinner.

Great staff, location and breakfast

Very nice and helpful staff. Solid location within walking distance of La Mariscal and Parque El Ejido. Many restaurants surround the area. And the breakfast was very good.

The service was excellent, and the staff was extremely warm and welcoming, especially our waitress Diana Gabriel

Stayed about a week in total, separate bookings, including couple days from travel agency which had us booked at the location. Good location and good breakfast, though facility shows age , furniture scratches/damage, a/c not functioning, safe not functioning, ..etc. noted spa not in service. Staff service was excellent which compensated for issues noticed. May look at other options within the same location if visiting same town again. Just happened to have picked location by adding days at beginning and at end of travel package that booked us here as part of a Galapagos tour package.

Staff is very friendly

I made a reservation for my girlfriend, a friend and my son. Both girls asked for a service or help to staff during breakfast. No one was able to help her with a simple plastic cup. The spa was out of order too. I paid a lot of money for this inconvenience. I would give them 3 stars for now. Also, this is the third time that we she stayed at this hotel. Hopefully, they get better next time.

What a great place to stay. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly, had great suggestions for the area. Looking forward to staying with them again in Quito!

The worst room service food I have ever had.

The hotel has a modern lobby and restaurant but the rooms are dated. The bathroom particularly so with a shower curtain (not great from a hygiene perspective), the rooms are fairly dark due to the lighting and dark wood furniture. Breakfast was OK but food could be labelled (vegetarian etc). Gym was OK but bike doesn’t work. Staff were friendly and accommodated a later check out. All in all it’s OK but I wouldn’t stay there again.

No puedo decir mas que buenos comentarios del NH hotel. El servicio desde recogerme en el aeropuerto fue maravilloso. La habitación muy cómoda , limpia y uno vista inmejorable de las montañas. El desayuno fue sencillamente delicioso y variado( frutas, huevos, jugos, yogurt, y más !) y el precio buenísimo ! El servicio en la recepción de todos fue excelente. Volveré con mi familia. Muchas gracias por todas sus atenciones .

No hot water on Sunday for showers. Room temperature difficult to control - front desk said to turn it off but room was too hot (radiant heat?) so left the cool option on 23 which worked. Dining Room was too cold at night and meal was not good value plus very slow (45 mins and no one else there). Staff always excellent. Room on 16th floor excellent. Swisshotel Cafeteria across the road has better breakfast and cheaper.

No hot water in shower on the Sunday - other days good. Dining room - big problems - I tried it twice for dinner - first night the Pork Medallian dish took 45 minutes to arrive and the meat was like a frisbee. It was a bit late when I ordered. Room was very cold and one needed a parka which I did not have. The second night I tried again - a poor choice by me to order risotto - I thought it would include more that just that - no extras, boring, waiter spoke little English. One tiny bread roll so I asked for more which they provided. Breakfast buffee was good but expensive. Better deal across the road at the Swisshotel Cafeteria.

Absolutely amazing stay. Breakfast was amazing, staff were super friendly and it was in a good area. Nothing but amazing things to say.

We really loved our stay in this hotel in a very nice area with beautiful restaurants around.

I stayed here 2 different nights while in Quito.There are many nice restaurants and places to drink nearby. The neighborhood felt very safe. My rooms here were very large and comfortable. I slept well. WiFi worked good. The staff here were also very nice, friendly, and helpful. I was able to get a Covid test at the hotel before my flight home. This place met all my needs and I would stay again.

Awesome Stay!

The staff went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The room was spacious and it remained warm unlike many other Quito hotels without HVAC. Breakfast was delicious. They arranged a Covid test with a quick test result. I will return to this hotel next time I am in Quito.

The hotel was fantastic, great room and service. The location was even better, it is located by La Floresta neighborhood, full of quirky little restaurants, safe and extremely walkable. There is a taxi stand in front of the hotel so we had easy access to all the other sites in Quito (historic center, Virgen del Panecillo, Capilla del Hombre, etc). They even scheduled a lab to take our PCR test for travel right at the hotel, with results in about 12 hours. We loved Quito and this hotel and would return in a heartbeat!

we stayed about 5days in the hotel after my wife gave birth to our son. Staff were super helpful and caring for our situation. Really cant thank them enough and will recommend anyone visiting Quito to stay here

This is my favorite hotel in Quito. Great location, excellent cost benefit, the staff are excellent, the room is large and the bathroom is super clean, good restaurant and a wonderful breakfast that is above any hotel where I stayed in Latin America.

Good Hotel. Awful fitness center (gym)

Good Hotel and good location. It has the worst Fitness Center (Gym) I ever saw in this kind of hotels. Some machines are too old and brocken which can be dangerous.

Cable tv options are very limited. Most of the channels indicate "not available" almost only soap opera channels or religious channels. Would expect that a reknown chain as NH would have a better selection.

Breakfast !!! Area location lots of restaurants The only thing I was liitle disappointed was early check in was possible only if you pay extra charge even if you stay long time in the hotel

The hotel room that we had was very nice. Met our expectations and needs. We got the included breakfast which opened our eyes to different types of food. We were told not to walk outside after dark unless with a big group. Take a taxi with the orange lic plates. We used this hotel as a home base for touring Quito and the area.

The hotel is not in a great area for walkability. It’s clean, room service could use an overhaul, and the a/c didn’t work well. But the hotel was clean and the rooms are large.

Rather disappointed either this hotel - main factor being the noise as of the rooms as the glass is not double glazed meaning that all the noise from the roads could be heard. We stayed for three nights and did not have one decent nights sleep. The room facilities were also underwhelming - no slippers and the hairdryer was falling apart for example. Not expected for the price we paid. The same could be said for the gym facilities where half the equipment was broken.
