By far it's the best property in Ngwesaung. Massive shoreline. Gr8 beach for all families and couples. Friendly staff members throughout the resort. Its a wonderful place for relaxing.
Staff are very friendly and flexible. Great place to stay :) I really recommend to stay here if you have a chance to come to Ngwesaung.
Fantastic hotel
It was a wonderful trip for my family. The room is specious and clean. The view from my room is incredible beautiful. The hotel service is good and so does the room service. My kids love the swimming pool.
Great place
We had a great visit on the beach front Hotel. This was a fantastic place to unwind. We are often times the only guests in the pool and had the beaches and the miles and miles of beaches to our self. Gorgeous sunsets fantastic Hotel staff great food from the Thai Chef definitely would recommend to others.
Lovely hotel by the beach
This was a lovely hotel, clean, good breakfast and very attentive staff. The staff were very polite and always available. The housekeeping staff were lovely. The hotel is about 10 mins from the village but there are always bike taxis outside and very cheap. The pool is amazing, an infinity pool, and the area for sunbathing is very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Superb pool design.
Very plain design of the resort. The room itself was under-furnished, with a big empty space that could have had a table or chair. Phone and internet did not always work. But the pool was superbly designed and the beach is among the best anywhere.
A very nice beach resort experience
Had a great 2 day 1 night (Sat-Sun) stay at this resort by myself. This resort apparently hosted some SEA games events in 2013. Very well kept resort, beautiful infinity pool with lounging chairs, clean and sparsely peopled beach, showers and foot wash just off the beach, helpful and pleasant staff. Lovers Island sand spit a short walk away. Mountain bike rentals available. There are 2 restaurants in the resort, a more varied menu would be appreciated. Would definitely consider to visit again.
Rooms, pool and seaside access were all great.Staff were very friendly and helpful with our 1 year old. The only complaint is that the restaurant quality was very poor and very expensive. Every day they were out of multiple items including seafood platter (surprising for a seaside resort!) ice cream, white wine... the items that really make your meal enjoyable.
Clean
Good stay
Good location, poor service!
We arrived after a long ride and although I had advised on the time of our arrival, the check in was slow: we had to wait almost 1h before entering the rooms. Nobody took care of us during the wait, and nobody apologized for the inconvenience. We were just left standing in front of the reception!! The rooms were located on the 2nd floor, and we received no help from staff to carry our luggage. We reserved 2 Deluxe sea view rooms: a triple and a double. The triple was nice, with three comfortable beds, tea/coffee facilities and space for luggage storage. The double room was not nice - 2 beds and a large empty space not even occupied by a chair/sofa - as if a third bed had just been removed. Corridor and stairs in front of the room were dirty, and our maid never replaced the coffee/tee facilities nor the dirty cups in the room.I had to call the reception to ask for clean cups and new tea/coffee bags. Breakfast is average, poor selection of food, and the bread was stale. Espresso or cappuccino are not even included in the breakfast price. You have to pay 3$ extra for an espresso: I found this ridiculous and not appropriate for the standards that this hotel should have. The hotel is located right on the beautiful beach. The swimming pool is amazing and with a beautiful view over the beach. The property is beautiful and has a lot of potential, but the staff service and the level of cleanliness must be very much improved.
Weekend Get-Away
Was able to check-in early. Roll away bed was unavailable but provided extra blanket. Infinity pool was a huge hit for the kids. Thanks
Great for relaxation.
We only stayed overnight because we were short of time but could easily have spent a few days in the beautiful setting.
Good hotel
The hotel was comfortable; positives are the beautiful setting, very nice pool, comfortable rooms. Negatives: the (hot) food tends to be served lukewarm which is a big minus. One thing that made our stay a bit less comfortable was a conference which was held on the Saturday, complete with music and karaoke. We decided to go out for dinner that evening so as not to be bothered by it. On the plus: the noise stopped at 10pm and we had a good night sleep. Overall I would recommend this hotel; we had a very enjoyable stay.
Nice resort
Nice resort with a nice beach and infinity pool. The rooms are clean and spacious and the beds great for a good rest. The restaurant is average with international food but they have another very charming restaurant next to the the resort's campsite which is great for a romantic dinner or lunch whilst the kids play with the sand
Nice beach hotel
Nice hotel with nice and big room, beautify beach and great unlimited view swimming pool!! We do have a relaxing night there.
Hotel night club should be free for the all guest.
Although it's been far from the local village, hotel facilities like swimming pool and its own private beach is amazing. The hotel manager is also very enthusiastic and helping customers with patient and kind manner. All the staffs are very friendly and polite. I would recommend to all my friends to visit there.
Nice, newly build property in Ngwe Saung
As of Feb., 2015 it's a newest build property in Ngwe Saung. Although location is a bit far from village, it's fully compensated by secluded part of Ngwe Saung beach, where only local passer-bys can be observed. Another huge advantage - no power outages/ hot water is available 24 hours a day (which is uncommon even for some upper-level properties in Ngwe Saung). Rooms are spacious and sailor-themed (and it's the only thing, which explains "Marina" in a property name - as of now, there's no functional marina can be observed), grounds are well-maintained. There's only one restaurant with rather limited selection of dishes; majority of a la carte dishes we've tried were rather mediocre, whilst breakfast was a nice exception (there's a congee station and an omelette station; all of the breakfast ingredients were fresh and properly cooked). There's a small gym @ the main building, which fits two pax, at most - however, all machines are in mint condition. Service was good & efficient - no complaints at all. Overall, can recommend this property for those, seeking for a comfort options, who are willing to pay a little extra for that.
Die Lage, der Strand und das Meer waren traumhaft.
Stadardzimmer vermeiden!
Strandardzimmer haben rein gar nichts mit dem Rest zu tun. Man wohnt in muffigen Hütten abgelegen vom Haupthotel. - Relativ sauber - Guter Service.
