A good hotel for the price paid. In a very nice area with excellent access to the ferry and beach.
The area was nice with all the restaurants including the one at hotel. Lots of mosquitos though and no bug repellant coils at the restaurant tables as there was in nearby restaurants
Very nice
It is about 20 to 30 minutes from where we wanted to go, such as St. Mark's Cathedral, but the transportation is good until late at night. The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. A BIG shout out to Danella or Estella (sorry if I am not saying or writing her name correctly). She was super helpful and took the time to walk me to the place. I needed early morning (0400 am) to take the water taxi to the airport. I will go back to the same place in November. :)
Nice staff and excellent facility for the money. Close to Lido water bus terminal.
An old world hotel with all modern conveniences and amazingly friendly and helpful staff that was able to help us in English. The rooms are very comfortable and always clean and well supplied with your needs. Their restaurant serves wonderful foods with excellent service. The, included breakfasts were delicious and had a wide variety of items as well. The location is within a short walking distance from the Lido station and is conveniently located to dozens of shops and restaurants.
Well located and well run.
Very friendly staff. Great location away from the main island of Venice. Great beach and restraunt options within a 10 minute walk.
Friendly without “being in your face”, courteous, efficient.
Lovely hotel with one negative point
It is a lovely hotel with friendly staff. Location is not too far from the ferry or the beach. Room a bit small but adequate. Only negative found was the walls between the rooms were very thin. We could hear everything next room was saying to a point that we can hear when they plug in something. This could a big problem if you have someone noisy or watch TV in the next room.
We love Lido
Great hotel in Lido right across from Venice. Very cute hotel and the town is way more quiet than Venice. Everything is close and it was a short ferry ride to Venice. Recommend highly
Great location
Great hotel in all aspects. Slept very well. The location on Lido island is also separate from central Venice meaning more space, less claustrophobic, and a few blocks from the blue flag beach on Lido! Of course, you’ll need a ferry ticket to get to and from town center.
Excellent location. Right on the main strip.
Amazing
The hotel is amazing! Breakfast is incredible! Staff is kind! Even thought It’s a 15 minute trip on boat to Venice and the boat is a bit expensive, staying in this island it’s really worthy!
The staff was extremely kind and helpful!
Ideal base for exploring the city without having to endure the crowding and costliness of staying in the middle of it all
Not in or near Venice- Avoid for Venice
This hotel is over an hour by water bus to Venice or 100 euros by water taxi. It is on a whole different island, which is highland and not always accessible. We wasted 4 hours of our trip with luggage trying to find this place, was a total nightmare, couldn’t find it, so we booked somewhere in Venice. They refused to give any money back. This place is a total nightmare, avoid at all costs!
A Great Hotel with an excellent Restaurant. Very nice staff, easy access to the Ferries to Venice, so that you can spend the day visiting and exploring the old Venice, but able to escape to a nice and tranquil new part of Venice. Very nice overall. The staff at the reception are very nice and the staff at the Restaurant are excellent and very nice. Excellent food too.
Great for beach and Venice vacation
Great hotel - wonderful to be able to go the beach in 5 minutes and go to Venice in 15 min.
I liked all the original decor with the murano glass, the renovated and modern feel to the room and bathroom. The bed was a little hard for my preference but overall the trip was fantastic
Perfect location
The room was clean and cute and the bed SUPER comfy! Perfect location 2 min walk from beach and 5 min waterbus to San Marco square.
The room is new and well maintained
Good location, nice breakfast patio in the back.
Overall, I would say it was functional for the price. Rooms was clean, bathroom new and quite luxurious. However, breakfast was boring, after 2 visits, found better using local restaurants and coffee bars, much better surroundings! Check in was pleasant enough, but we asked whether the hotel provided bike hire, the answer was no, we asked if he knew anywhere that did, the shake of the head and shrug of the shoulders said no! Maybe he should have said “I don’t know, but I will enquire, and get back to you”. Anyhow, we left for the beach, turned left, and I kid you not, 60 metres from the hotel was a bike rental shop!! During the week of our stay, we came across at least 3 rental shops on this same street as the hotel, also the Lido operates many “Boris” bike rental stations! Will certainly not use this hotel again.
Nice restaurant, some minutes walking to the Lido S.M.E., and excellent staff.
The food at the restaurant for lunch and dinner was great. Close distance to water bus (walkable even with luggage), Great play area in backyard for kids. Breakfast menu is not worth it better off waking to a nearby restaurant. Lido is a great quieter location.
Excellent value and comfort
I've stayed here on several occasions and the staff have always been super friendly. It's very clean. Rooms aren't huge but they are comfy. Wifi works very well and joy - free Netflix in the room is an excellent plus . Newly renovated so everything works. Breakfast is fine - Italian hotels don't do the most exciting breakfasts - not sure it's worth the extra when you can pop across the road for a proper coffee and pastry instead but again the staff are very good. For Venice - excellent value for money.
Very friendly staff, nice hotel and buffet breakfast
Great hotel with lovely staff! Spent a wonderful week here with my daughter and would not hesitate to stay here again!
Hotel New Reiter is a great place to stay for a visit to Venice. It is o ly a 5 min walk from the water taxi and then only 10 min to the beackh on the Adriatic in the other direction. Lots of choice for restaurants.
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely hotel!
Great location, quick walk to beach and water bus Friendly staff. Breakfast was average but has a very nice quite courtyard to eat in.
Clean, Great quality breakfast, Perfect location, Less than 10 min walk to Lido port. You can reach Lido from Marco Polo airport with multiple ways 1- By Alilaguna boat, take blue or red line, 15 euro one way or 27 euro round trip (25 euro online). Boat leaves every 30 mins 2- Take bus from Airport 7.5 euro one way and take ACTV boats to Lido. You can use ACTV boat lines to go to Venice 7.5 euros one way or 20 euro unlimited trips for 24 hours. ACTV tours around Venice to may different ports.
Fantastic location near to the vaporetto and the beach is at the bottom of the road. Lovely rooms very very clean. Lovely garden and great food. Bars and restaurants all around would highly recommend and will stay again.
Nice decor, very clean, lovely staff, great TV, only down sides were rather hard pillows and shower temperature was very difficult to control.
This hotel is close to transportation and is a little quieter than staying right in Venice which we loved. The room was nice, the staff members were friendly, and the restaurant served good food. There is a nice garden and also outdoor seating on the street so you have a nice view from the restaurant. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Venice.
Flour & Elena were great at the front desk. Restaurant was very good.
Lovely and very clean hotel with friendly and very helpful staff. Couldn't have asked for a better hotel to stay in.
This was a wonderful hotel, with exceptional staff. Everyone we spoke with at the hotel was helpful and gracious. Only thing that was not exemplary was slow wi-fi, it was so slow I got booted off trying to arrange our next activity. Overall the hotel and terrific staff far exceeds any problem with the wi-fi. Lido has been the most charming town, uncrowded and unhurried. We loved strolling through town and the boat busses! We would love to return! ❤️🇮🇹
The hotel is in Lido which is a small island close to Venice. You need to get a waterbus to get to Venice every time you want to go there. The hotel has an average breakfast and an expensive restaurant but food quality is good and it is clean. Short distance from nearby restaurants, shops and the beach. I am glad we picked this hotel as it gets you away from the hustle and bustle of Venice. Will definitely go back!
The location of the property was very nice. a small walk from the water taxi and a small walk from the beach. The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. Always ready to answer any questions i had. Like few people commented that the room walls are thin. But fortunately we had nobody in either side of our room. so we were not disturbed. The food quality from the restaurant was very nice.

Interesting quiet friendly hotel commuting distance from Venice with pleasant amiable staff
Would recommend it.what more need I say.Very clean, good food and was easy to find.
I liked the overall experience, i didn't like that it was in Lifp, not in Venice. It was expensive to get back and forth on the waterbus
one of the best hotel and nicest staff
Felt almost like home at the hotel. Each and every staff were very polite and helpful. If I happen to go again to Venice I will stay in this hotel and recoupment this hotel to my friends too.
Past reviews justified
The excellent reviews received is most definitely justified. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay of 7 days. Treated with respect by the friendly staff that are helpful. The breakfast was awesome in the morning - more than adequate and the food in the restaurant below excellent. No need to look for other options. Room and en-suite bathroom made the stay very comfortable.
Awesome!
The hotel is awesome. Great value. Look like it was recently renovated. Restaurant is good. Breakfast included was good. Walking distance to boat ferry. I would definitely recommend and would love to stay there again
Convenient location. Clean and great service with very helpful staff.
Fantastic Stay
We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel was spotless and and the staff very friendly. We had a great sleep and superb breakfast. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the waterbus station and lots of shops, cafes, restaurants nearby. We ate in the hotel restaurant twice and was the best food of our holiday. We were given a complimentary glass of presecco and you get 10% discount as a hotel guest. Special mention for Antonio the restaurant manager. Made us feel so welcome. Would definitely stay again
Thin wall. Can hear everything what is going on next door
Perfect weekend away
Hotel was amazing!! Me and my girlfriend stayed here over a birthday weekend for her and it didn’t disappoint. We had what was a standard room which was well decorated, clean and spacious. Even had a tv built into the mirror! The staff were amazing, twice we received complimentary drinks as we were on our way out for dinner and amazingly a complimentary bottle of Prosecco brought to our room her my gf’s birthday! Great location, great staff, great hotel. 5*
Hotel New Reiter is a wonderful place to stay in Venice. Fantastic value. The staff were great. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated. The location is great with shopping, food and drink plentiful. It is only an easy, quick walk to the water taxi dock - very convenient. Highly recommend!!
Classy hotel, short walk from all vaporetti stops in one direction, and the beach in the opposite direction. Lovely counter staff, very helpful and friendly. Room VERY clean and comfortable, with mini bar, kettle. Pleasant, relaxed area - a contrast to the crowds( and tat!) in Venice - Coop supermarket on next street, too, plenty of shops. Would highly recommend Hotel New Reiter to anyone.
Great find !
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel it's easy to find with good links to airport and Venice is 15 mins away .The staff are very helpful and friendly and the breakfast is good will stay again.
Brilliant location very friendly staff Spotlessly clean Would thoroughly recommend
Everyone was so kind, the room and hallways were very elegant and the restaurant was beautiful and delicious! We can’t wait to go back
Nice hotel close to the port.
Stuff is excellent. Breakfast is recommendable with variety of food.
Nice hotel on Lido. Only reachable by water taxi and is the last stop from airport.
New Rieter Lido rocks
Wonderful staff great restaurant fantastic room
Great and helpful people, very clean rooms.
Great location- lovely little hotel.
Lovely room and big ensuite. Everything seemed new and finished to a high standard. Staff were helpful and pleasant and the covered terrace/ restaurant was lovely and cool, even in such heat (breakfast served here- good variety). We loved the Lido location- hotel was only a few minutes from both beach and Vaporetto stop and was surrounded by some good bars and restaurants. Our room was on 2nd floor and was quiet at night. Would certainly recommend and allowed us to escape the tourist crowds of Venice’s centre when we wanted to. (Travelled with teenagers).
Nice, clean room.
Great hotel in Lido beach with an outstanding restaurant! We couldn't have found a better place for our visit to Venice. 10 min walk to the water taxi and a 15 ride to St Mark's square. Lido is beautiful, elegant and calm and my girls loved the beach. Strongly recommend.
Hotel Reiter is a great hotel, it’s very clean and the staff are really helpful and friendly and go out of their way to help. It’s very close to the beach and there is cycle hire available a few doors down, great for exploring the lido. There is also a discount in the hotel bar/restaurant available for guests. We would recommend hotel Reiter to anyone wanting to stay on the lido, it’s easy to get into Venice on the water bus, the station is very close to the hotel. Thank you to all of the staff, you made our stay very enjoyable.
The location to the beach is a walking distance and therefore is a good place.
Great location in middle of Lido
Newly refurbished hotel in great location, so easy to get to central Venice and islands. Room spotless and all staff friendly. Great price too. Really enjoyed our stay and thought the Lido wonderful, everything we needed and a good variety of restaurants and bars. Didn't want for anything. Enjoyed being able to walk everywhere and loved the boat transport. Would definitely stay on the Lido again, peaceful and calm. Had a great 5 days. All good and would fully recommend Hotel New Reiter.
Excellent Hotel, good location for day trips to Venice and walk to the beach. Good breakfast provided. Very helpful and welcoming staff.
Perfect !
The hotel is brand new and very well equiped. Stuff is great as well as the breakfast. Location is perfect - not in Venice but 10 minutes away from San Marko with the water bus. Highly recomended!
Very elegant hotel ,friendly staff , excellent position close to beach!Grazie!
Lido 2018
Very handy for the conference centre. Lots of nice bars/restaurants nearby.
Sehr gut gelegenes gut geführtes kleines Hotel, in dem alles funktioniert. Freundliches Personal, sauber. Altes Gebäude, aber renoviert. Wir würden wiederkommen.
The receptionist Estella is very helpful , polite and competent when we checked in.She gave us a lot of info. regarding the Waterbury route and also places of interest to visit, a big asset for the hotel New Reiter to have such an employee to welcome guests. For this reason, my next visitbl will return to NR hotel,👍👍👍👍👍👍 Soo Leng K unstmann
Hervorrangendes, freundliches Personal. Leckeres Frühstück, und wunderbares Essen. Der Aufenthalt war ein Traum.
It is affordable, clean, and safe place with friendly staff. breakfast is excellent. One stop from San Marco square.
