We had a great stay at Nefeli Homes. The room was very nice with its own private balcony. Although we did not use it much because the common area at the top of the hotel was spectacular. You can see even the other side of the island where the beaches are. You see the island itself with the monastery at the top of the mountain. Then you have a full view of the caldera and good view of the sunset. We had breakfast everyday over there. The staff is wonderful. Everyone was happy to see you and ready to help. The location was perfect for us because it is away from the multitudes in Fira and Oia but you can easily go there if you want. We do not know how things change during the high season as we visited at the end of Octuber. I liked this shoulder season because the crowds are smaller and the temperatures are nice to walk. It was a bit cold at night but nothing a light jacket couldn’t solve. Overall we strongly recommend Nefeli Homes and would come back if we visit Santorini again.

I was extremely proud of myself for finding Nefeli Homes! My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Nefeli Homes for 8 nights in the Grand View Maisonette with a private Hot Tub and I don't even have words - the view was magical. The room was spotless and the overall grounds at the location was so so clean, our hot tub was the perfect temperature for those early mornings and evenings, the breakfast was out of this world amazing, the location was PERFECT, nice and quiet, extremely peaceful and very close to restaurants, markets and the City Centre, Fira. We felt so welcomed at Nefeli Homes they gave us the absolute perfect honeymoon. The staff and owner were the absolute most genuine people and really helped us with everything like made so many recommendations for what to do around the island, booked tours and car rentals for us, arrange airport pick up and drop off, cooked and served us breakfast every morning (which was delicious), provided us with clean towels daily, kept our room so nice and clean daily and overall just made the experience for us so perfect. It's extremely overwhelming trying to decide where to stay in Santorini as there's so many options, but if you are looking at this property I know you will love it as much as we did. Everyone told us to stay in Oia (which is beautiful as well) but we were so so happy we chose to stay in Imerovigli because it was clean, quiet and had such a spectacular view. Nefeli Homes is a little hidden gem that we loved so much!

The hotel exceeded my expectations. I had the cave with a private terrace and free breakfast package. The food was amazing, the stuff super helpful and caring. If I could back every year I would! They arranged my pick me up at the port and also the drop off at airport with a quality service company. I am very thankfull with Nefeli Home they make my vacation unforgettable

Nefeli Homes in one word is SPECTACULAR! We stayed in the Superior room with a balcony overlooking the spectacular view of the surrounding towns along with a full view of the caldera and other islands. The room is a good size with a comfortable firm bed and comfortable pillows. Do note that the shower stall is not very big but the water pressure is good and you get very hot water. The AC works well and you have a Nespresso machine to make espresso. Elina and Stelios at reception are always friendly and helpful if you need any information re places to eat, visit, car rentals, etc. Victór always brings our breakfast with a smile and is so sociable and helpful. The breakfasts are delicious and filling to keep you full for the rest of the day. The cleaning staff are top notch and leaves our room spotless. We highly suggest to make arrangements with the hotel for airport pickup as the location is hard to find and parking is very challenging if you don’t know where to park. If you have a car rental from the airport make sure to call Nefeli Homes reception and talk to Elina or Stelios before you leave to get instructions on where to park and how to find the place as it will not be easy if you are not familiar with the location. Horrible bathroom

Bathroom was the worst we have ever had in over 50 years of travel. Supposedly a premium suite. View was awesome and staff helpful and friendly!

The hotel was in a perfect location! Beautiful views of the caldera and the entire island. The staff was so kind and accommodating! There was plenty of communal seating so that the views could be enjoyed. My room was a super cute cave with my own private dining balcony outside. I am a solo female traveler and I felt very safe here. I recommend Nefeli Homes for a nice stay in Imerovigli! Enjoy!

Eleni and the staff at Nefeli homes were amazing- they were so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We went to them with all our questions and they helped us book activities and transportation. The place was amazing and in a quiet area accessible to everything. You could even walk 100 metres in opposite directions to see the sunrise or sunset. This hotel was very beautiful inside and outside. If you’re looking for a hotel with good views then this is the one. The breakfast was delicious every morning with beautiful views. The receptionist lady was so helpful and treated so good everyday. She checked on us to make sure we was enjoying our stay. The location was walking distance to restaurants, bars, and shopping. I love everything about this hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

Exceptional location on Santorini

The good: Nefeli Homes' location is incredibly good. The hotel is located in Imerovigli, a 30 minute walk north of Fira town. It has breathtaking and unobstructed views of the caldera and islands across, as well as south towards Fira. There are several restaurants, cafés, supermarkets and a pharmacy within a 5-minute walk. The hotel and facilities are an architectural marvel of stairs, steps, hallways, arches, nooks and crannies, with rooms extending deep into the mountain, giving them a unique and cavern-like character. Our room for 4 had a wonderful balcony with views as described above. There is a small pool and several sun terraces with quality sunbeds and furniture. The entire property is stylish and tastefully appointed. The staff are friendly and helpful and will arrange transport and recommend activities as your request. Room for improvement: While our room had a bar with a few hangers, there were no drawers or shelves whatsoever for clothing. There was however several good places where a closet or shelves could be installed. The bathroom tap had 2 settings: off and firehose strength. The latter resulted in lots of water on the floor, etc. Also, there was no plug for the drain, so it was not possible to fill the sink with water. The breakfast (see photos) is objectively worth €12-15, not €25, even by Santorini price standards. These are minor issues, yet they were an element of nuisance, and in particular because each is easy to resolve. Overall, great!

Nefeli Homes was amazing! Elina, Victor, Stelios, Christina and Katarina were extremely attentive and kind. They made us feel like family! The property was clean and boutique style, quiet and the pool was perfect. Highly recommend the breakfast every morning as well! Only a 25 minute walk to Fira and there are several shops and restaurants only a couple minutes within the hotel as well. Oia and some of the beaches were only about a 15 min ride. Highly recommend staying here and we would definitely return!

Our room for three people was as advertised and clean. They have a very friendly staff and a great breakfast spread, which is served at your desired location, terrace, your room, etc. We chose the terrace as we wanted to enjoy the view. If you decide to stay there, ensure to talk to Elina. She was very helpful on things to do, transportation, and getting things coordinated such as departure arrangements etc. We enjoyed our time at the hotel. Thank you for everything!!

Just perfect

Where to Start, We arranged a transfer from the airport to Nefeli homes, The staff were there to meet us and help us with our bags to the property, A few minutes walk from the main road. On arrival the reception staff were wonderful, checking us in and offering us a lot of information about the hotel and the island. All the staff at the hotel were amazing and the service level was incredible. We stayed in Room 8, Which is a cave room next to reception, I have seen other negative comments about these rooms and I totally disagree, The room was amazing (A full-length mirror and a possible update to the bathroom would be my only suggestions to improve it even more but not enough to spoil anything) and the private balcony with sun beds just made it perfect. The Views in my opinion are the best on the island, If there are better I'd love to see them! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we couldn't have asked for more and if we revisit the island we would definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the staff for making our break so memorable

This was a beautiful hotel, staying here really added to our trip! We loved that breakfast was served daily on our private balcony and the front desk was so helpful navigating the island. The hotels location is only a short walk from all the best spots and at the end of the day it was nice coming back to such a beautiful peaceful place.

This was on of the best hotels I've every stayed in. Everything was wonderful. The whole staff took customer service too the next level. My tv didnt work and they brought a new one in a matter of minutes. I cannot remember everyone's name but they all done everything they could to make my stay wonderful. They arranged airport transportation for check in and check out. Arranged a renal car for one day so i could explore the island. The lady at the reception desk recommended all the places to visit. Nefeli Homes has the best location with a great view of the caldara but the staff is what sets it above the rest. Thank you all for making my vacation an unforgettable adventure.

We stayed for 10 nights at this hotel, it had stunning views and the breakfast was amazing!! When I booked this from Expedia the description said continental breakfast, we were brought a feast to our room each morning that varied slightly from day to day. Victor we so helpful and it was pleasant to see him each morning with our breakfast. The staff are all extremely helpful and accommodating. We experienced travel delays so our original transit that was booked through Expedia refused to pick us up due to our late 1AM arrival, Aleena organized for late check in and for the hotel shuttle to pick us up and the driver directed us to our room which we would have never found in the dark otherwise, he also helped us with our luggage. Upon arriving one of our bags got lost through the airlines. After a couple of days with no word from the airlines Aleena helped us get in touch with them, we had the bag by our hotel room that evening. Our room had a hot tub and it was well worth it, the pool was also nice on a hot day. This area is also accessible to a walking trail to Oia, if you are a hiker is has stunning views. We were within walking distance to Firostefani and Fira, this made shopping and food very accessible. Imerovigil where Nefeli Homes is located had nice restaurants nearby as well but it is a quieter area with beautiful views. I would definitely stay here again next time we visit beautiful Santorini. Victor and Aleena made our stay such a wonderful experience!

We had a wonderful stay at Nefeli Homes. The property and rooms were very clean and modern. It had a great view of the Caldera from our balcony/patio in room #6 as well as the common areas and pool. From the various areas you can see the southern part of the island and the towns of Imerovigli, Fira, Pyrgos and the southern tip (FYI, the sunsets to the far right of the buildings so you do not have a direct view to the sunset). It is right on the main walking path between Fira and Oia with many restaurants to choose from in a short walking distance. The pool was very refreshing after the heat of the day. That was a huge bonus. The breakfast that was included with our package was delicious and way more food than the two of us could eat. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A great big thank you to Victor, Nicoletta, Katharina, and an extra thank you to Stelios who was wonderful to interact with, especially during our conversation while waiting for the power to come back on after an island wide black out. We would definitely recommend a stay here to family and friends

Nice hotel, avoid two cave rooms near reception

This property has some very nice rooms. However, avoid the two cave rooms near reception. There is only a tiny window, has no view, and is a bummer for Santorini. The pictures of the patios nearby are not really part of your room. We had one of these rooms and were graciously moved to a room with a view.

This is a great hotel. The staff are wonderful and helpful. The room we were in is one of the best I have ever been. Breakfast was great. You just let them know when you are ready for breakfast and they bring it to you. It was a great selection. Location was perfect; quite enough away from Fira but close enough to walk to Fira if need be. You can't see the sunset from the hotel but just walk few minutes either way and you can!

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon and stayed in the indoor private pool room. It was MASSIVE and super cool! Felt like we were in a different world. Highly recommend nefeli homes!

Amazing Hotel & Staff. Breathtaking View!

Where do we start… Nefeli Homes exceeded our expectations. Our flights was delayed and the staff worked with us to arrange transportation and check in after hours. The following day they helped us book excursions and a car rental. We were given tips of where to go and what to do. I highly recommend asking Elina (receptionist) for anything you want to do because they will contact the parties involved to make it easier for you. They even recommended us where to do laundry and we got the car keys for our rental in the hotel while having breakfast which saved a lot of time. The daily breakfast and views were amazing. We were very impressed with the way the staff treated us and how they made us feel like if we were friends going to their house, basically trying to please and make us feel welcomed. The room was huge , we had the cave in room after the reception with a great patio to overlook the caldera. The room was beautiful and were greeted with a bottle of wine, housekeeping was daily and the room always smelled fresh and clean. The only thing we want to point out is that the bathroom needs a renovation. It is too dark inside , the theme doesn’t go with the rest of the property and the hose makes it very hard to shower and not splash water outside. But if this is changed, I think this would be the perfect hotel hands down. We visited Oia and and Fira and are glad we stayed here because it was not as crowded and the views were amazing due to being the highest point of the island

My wife and I took a taxi from the airport to Nefeli homes that cost 35 Euro. Upon arrival, the view was stunning. My wife and I were in awe. We were greeted by the receptionist Stelios who was our knight and shinning armor (Our luggage didn’t make the flight) Stelios called the airport everyday u til our luggage arrived. He greeted us each evening as we returned to the property and we shared our daily adventure with him. A key asset to the property and a reason we enjoyed our stay so much. They breakfast was $20/person. My wife and I found it easier to find food elsewhere that was at a more reasonable cost. The pool was enjoyable and we had room #5 with the hot tub that we enjoyed every night. Overall we had a fantastic stay at Nefeli Homes and I would recommended going back to anyone.

Nefeli Homes in Santorni exceeded my mom and Is expectations. The property is beautiful. The staff are top notch, welcoming and very caring. The receptionist gave us many of her reccomendations and helped us get around the island. Victor was amazing in helping us get to our transportation and making sure we had everything we needed at all times. This location is beautiful, not as crowded as Oía and only a 13 minute walk to beautiful Fira!

Breathtaking views from our terrace. Great service from all staff I encountered. There are bus stops near by to take you around town, but we still had to taxi a bit too much, and seems every taxi was 30 Euro no matter where we went, but that isn't the hotels fault. Just be prepared to have cash for taxis and buses, they do not take cards. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great staff and accommodations.

Very nice people. Little hard to find. Once you found them, they are fantastic. Finding parking was difficult before check in. But once they told us where public parking are, it was all ok.

Best location on the island - incredible view, quiet, and walking distance to Fira which has more dining/shopping options. The staff at this hotel was lovely and helpful. Only downside was our “shotgun” style room where you had to walk through the other sleeping quarters to get to the bathroom, so there wasn’t much privacy.

Fantastic property. The views from the property are absolutely fantastic and the rooms are great. Victor was very helpful. Really like the location due to the great views of Fira and the caldera. Can’t see the sunset directly from the property but it’s just a minute walk to see the incredible Santorini sunsets.

Staff was super friendly especially those who help with the morning breakfast Olivia and Victor ! Our room did feel a bit crammed especially the bathroom was not our favorite. We also did not like being next to the check in area as we could hear those outside and I’m sure those outside could hear us. Location is great to explore Imerglovic. Prices around that area were more compared to Megalochori, the transportation even more too. Price was $30 no matter where you went (which I found odd) but in megalochori it ranged from $15-$30. For those looking to be centered and close to Oia this is a great location but I suggest a bigger room. For those looking for more privacy I would suggest megalochori. Even renting ATVs in megalochori is cheaper.

The location of the hotel and the view exceeded our expectations! Hotel staff was wonderful and the room met our needs. Two considerations: there are many stairs, so if anyone in your party has mobility issues this is not for you, and if you are renting a car, the hotel does not have its own parking however there are three public parking lots within a short walk.

Excellent property. The views are amazing and staff very attentive. Only negative was the WiFi connection wasn’t great in the room. Location was great as it was in walking distance to several restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an excellent stay view/our room/ Olivia, Maggie, Victor and Georgia are great people they are the asset for the apartment. The only thing I will say is the bathroom there is a distinct smell, need to use bleach is a bit smelly. Overall love the place wish we come back sooner than later.

Like staying with family! Maggie, Victor and staff were all lovely. The Santorini style cave like rooms were beautiful and the view is what you come for. Amazing family run hotel, within 25 min walk to Fira right along the path. Take note however the pool and hot tub (if you book the family suite) is not heated and that can be disappointing. Highly recommend.

Not a Superior Experience in our Superior Room

Positives: the location is away from Thera with some nice bars and restaurants close by. We enjoyed breakfast which was well put together. The staff were very friendly and the cleaning was acceptable, though not outstanding. Disappointments: this hotel (based on room 6 sold as a "Superior Double") is dated and in major need of renovation, particularly the bathroom. The door to the bathroom is glass and as there is no shutter on the bathroom window, you cannot keep light out and the bedroom starts to get light from 5AM. The room was also in a generally poor state of repair, with exposed wires hanging out one corner, the fuse box door hanging off and the terrace parasol broken. The room also had its original (singled glazed) windows and shutters, which looked cute but offer no noise insulation at all. Our room was underneath a general terrace area which created noise from above and overlooked the room terrace. This meant the room and terrace were not very relaxing places to be. I did discuss my disappointments with the staff during our stay and the staff did what they could. However hotel management are not onsite and am still awaiting to hear from them. We did request to leave early and for unused nights to be refunded which was eventually agreed by the never-present manager, along with a refund for one further night. Out of five hotels during 3 weeks in Greece (including Mykonos) this was the most expensive per night, however was by far the lowest quality accomodation

We absolutely loved staying at Nefeli. The girls on reception were super helpful. Room 5 view was the best on the entire island in our opinion and I am glad we were not swayed to stay in Oia. Loved the room and the cave style bed. Breakfast was brought to us in the room every morning and was always slughtly varied. Loved Jimmys supermarket that also did Gyros just down the road. We would definitely stay here again. Did a full week for our honeymoon and it was spot on.

Everything (breakfast, room size, customer service, location and most of all the view) about this place was fabulous except for the beds which are fairly important for a hotel. The beds were hard as a rock which made it difficult to get a good nights sleep any of the 3 nights we stayed here.

May 22 Vacation

Great customer service and the rooms were good. Bit smaller but still good and clean. The location is close to everything and it's only a few mins walk. The view from the hotel is amazing and the breakfast was complimentary and it was amazing as well. The staff were helpful on both the shifts and the pool was good. Not a whole lot of lounging area around the pool but lots of tables and chairs around for having food with a view.

Exceptional staff (special thank you to Maggie, Olivia and Victor) who took care of us and made my mother’s birthday special. Views are immaculate, room was very comfortable with a warm hot tub, and we really enjoyed Imerovigli. I would definitely return and highly recommend.

We arrived late, 12:30am. There was someone to greet us and show us to our room. We woke up to a gorgeous view and a deliciously hearty breakfast. The receptionist was wonderful and very helpful. We could not have asked for a better experience.

Great cave hotel at a reasonable price

This hotel is great. It’s exactly what I was expecting. The view from the hotel property is amazing. The entire staff was great and everything requested was handled promptly, and courteously. If I return to Santorini I will definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, beautiful views. Christina at reception was great at organizing transfers and trips for us. About 1km from Fira. Easy to walk on the path at the edge of the caldera with breathtaking views. Breakfast was simple and we would have preferred some variety but for the number of days we were there it was satisfactory.

Hotel only has about 10 or less rooms, so you get more of a personal experience with the staff. It’s in a quiet part of Santorini with beautiful views of all the white wash buildings, caldera, and sea. Hotel is located on the walking path, Skaros Rock and Fira town were between 10-25min walk, also many great restaurants, bars, and shops are near by. I got most of my favorite photos right near by our hotel at the blue dome churches, pink trees, and other charming locations. When we arrived, the hotel staff explained the whole island to us with their recommendations for sight seeing, dining, and fun. They booked us a ATV rental and had the company come to us at the hotel for drop off and pick up. Which we highly recommended doing. The rentals are for a 24hr period, so we were able to drive it Oia, had dinner over looking the sunset at a restaurant the hotel recommended and made reservations for us. We then the next day took the ATV to Santos Wines, black beach and red beach. Our room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Balcony had amazing views. We enjoyed views from the pool and common area where we ate a good traditional Greek breakfast. My only complaint is I wish our bathroom had a light.

Amazing property - highly recommend for a stay in Santorini. Phenomenal view and service. Forgot something upon checkout and one of the amazing staff members drove to the airport to give it back to me - and refused to accept any tip or reward!! Would love to come back
