Convenient location. Quiet, especially rooms at the rear

Great for exploring London

Couple <30 years old travelling to London for a couple of days. The hotel was great as it offered parking (although limited), which I called ahead to confirm the availability of. It was very well priced for being so close to the city centre and everywhere in London was easily accessible. The room was basic and small but that was no issue for us as we were out all day. Good hot water supply even in peak times such as morning. We did not have the breakfast as we did not think the selection was enough for us and we preferred to go elsewhere. We would absolutely stay again.

Great location - free parking was a bonus. Room (612) is very small - but apart from that very comfortable and clean. Liked the free coffee/tea station in reception foyer - ideal after a long day out in winter. Will definitely book again.

Zona con tantissima scelta di hotel perchè una zona comoda anche per gli spostamenti per vedere sopratutto le attrazioni turistiche... hotel nella media eravamo 3 in una stanza scomodo per muoversi era stretta peccato. vorrei dare un giudizio negativo per la colazione abbiamo pagato ma veramente scarsa e sala colazioni stretta peccato è un hotel dove può fare tantissimo

Excellent priced (on a Sunday) London hotel in very convenient position 5 minutes from Paddington. Basic room facilities, but staff helpful, and the little extras like free teas and coffees in reception (nothing in the rooms) and free breakfast (reasonable choice and freshly made by helpful staff) a bonus.

Clean and comfortable with an excellent breakfast!

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at this hotel which is in a very good location. Clean room and bathroom with a very comfortable bed and the breakfast was excellent! Thank you!

The room was clean. However there are no kettle facilities in the room which is very inconvenient

We really enjoyed our stay at Nayland, a clean hotel with friendly staff. Our only negative was that our room was in the basement and we were woken at 6 am by the cleaning staff and then we could hear all the goings on in the breakfast room. If we stay again, we will definitely ask to be on a higher floor. Very close to Paddington station, convenient for tubes buses and getting around.

Great location to easily get access to London’s main attractions and to the transportation system. Basic room but has got all you need for a short stay. Very friendly and helpful staff.

This is just a small hotel but the staff were really friendly and it felt as though they had a lot of pride in the hotel. It was clean, with a good shower and toilet. Good value for the money spent and would recommend if you are travelling on a budget. Also close to Paddington station and a short walk to Hyde Park

Perfect for my one night stopover

Comfortable 1 night stay as a solo traveller. Room small but adequate and very clean, as was the reception area and breakfast room.

This hotel was absolutely perfect for me and my daughter's stay. We had a beautiful warm twin room which was spotlessly clean. The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is so convenient to train stations which have you in the center of London in no time. I would definitely stay here in this hotel again.

Stayed for 5 nights. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff and the housekeeping did an amazing job tidying up the room daily.

Decent Hotel

Very good value for London. The room was small but very clean. Check in was easy. It would be better if tea and coffee facilities were in the room but complimentary drinks were available downstairs.

The location was really good. The size and noisy of the room placed on lower ground level close to the boiler and the elevator makes a noisy one.

My main beef was the street noise. The original? (certainly old) windows did little to soften it. That aside, for its location, price and proximity to many food options and transportation (Paddington Stn) I feel it was excellent value.

Good Value

Hotel suited us for the location. Friendly staff. Small room which was noisy and could hear everyone in neighbouring rooms. This aside, our stay was pleasant. Breakfast is good value for a continental style. Small bar with good value drinks. Will definitely stay again.

Happy visitor

The hotel was ideally placed as I arrived at Paddington just a short walk away and with in walking distance of Oxford street the hotel staff are very friendly the rooms are great as was the breakfast I shall certainly stay there again

Nice and comfortable. Basic breakfast adequate

Beds were very comfortable. Room and bathroom were small but we were there to sleep and shower so i provided both. We slept well.

close to Paddington for rail and tueb links The insulation between floors is non-existant and people in floors above your room can be heard all night.

3rd world style accomodation

Average room. No air conditioning. Right next to a stair case so lots of noise and footsteps all night making it hard to sleep. Pillows were flat. Overall, an ok room if you need a cheap quick place to sleep.

I stayed with one other person in a double bed room. It was clean and quiet. The rooms are outdated and some things like the carpet and curtains are a bit shabby. The light over the bed had a number of dead bugs in it. The bathroom could use some sprucing, but felt clean. The showers are incredibly small. I am an average sized woman and I couldn’t bend down in the stall. If you are plus sized, I’d worry about being able to fit. The door didnt close all the way in the shower and made the entire bathroom very wet. The toiletries are adequate for the price point but could have used more than a 3-in-1 and wafer soap. There is no air conditioner but it was not hot during our stay so it is moot. The breakfast is fine but if you’re a picky eater like me you may find it challenging. The staff is friendly and courteous. An okay budget pick, I would stay again.

They made me feel very comfortable in a big town. I woild go therte again for sure. So easy to get off the train at Pattington and walk to the hotel.

Traveled with family Good base for sight seeing close to Paddington tube station. Usman on reception was very welcoming and helpful the world needs more people like this. Breakfast basic but fills the gap staff very friendly. Really enjoyed our stay

The staff at Nayland Hotel were extremely helpful with all of our needs. The triple room was clean and comfortable.

I lived having a fan in the room that did not rattle.

Lovely little hotel close to Paddington station (Heathrow Express) so idea for overnight stay or, as we did, 3 or 4 dsay short break in London. Will stay there again. Also, would recommend The Victoia pub neaby fo drinks and meals.

Very clean and accessible to the paddington train. The one we rented are 2 twin beds just enough to occupy the whole space which is very small. The bathroom is small but very clean. No AC only fan but the weather is cool outside.. I am happy with place . I like the coffee and tea with hot water with a plate of cookies in the morning. I will go back to that place.

Really nice stay

To be honest I really enjoy the stay at the Nayland hotel, the bed was comfortable and everything was really clean. We even had a complimentary breakfast which was really good and full of stuff. Me and my friend we always took candy from the reception and everybody was really nice. Perfect location. The only bad thing it’s that the room was small but it didn’t matter too much.

Compact room on lower floor. Very clean, towels replaced daily. Room convenient for breakfast room. Plenty of choice for continental breakfast, with toast and tea made to order by superb breakfast room staff. I stayed four nights, and after first morning, toast was served without asking. Definitely value for money! So convenient for Paddington station, with a variety of restaurants and shops within 5 minutes walk. Tourist shops generally cheaper than in other parts of London. Would recommend and will return.

This hotel was excellent value for money. Brilliant location. Comfortable bed. Free coffee and tea downstairs. Plenty of room. Furnishing slightly dated but really clean and everything that I needed. Hotel employees were so kind, polite and friendly.

Great hotel!

We had a great stay. We were able to check in a bit early, which was great with kids. The day we checked out we were able to leave our bags while we explored for a while. This is our second time staying here and it has been a great experience both times. The staff is so friendly and they take care of the patrons.

Location is good

Room and toilet very small, cannot open 2 luggage at the same time. Underground very near, can get food easily. There is lift in the hotel.

I am a solo business traveller and I stay in London for a few days a month. My room was spotless and the room excellent value for money given I wanted to be near a tube and have somewhere to get into central London quickly. I would stay here again.

Good hotel to stay

We stayed for five nights and every day the room was cleaned and tidy and I was very happy with it, breakfast was good and all in all everything was good! Only one night we were woken up in the middle of the night because someone was chatting in the bar and it was very loud because the room wasn't soundproofed very well！The location of the hostel is very convenient, it is very close to paddington station, you can walk to it in five minutes, and it is also close to Hyde park, you can walk to it in ten minutes! If I go to London in the future I will stay there again!

Nice stay

It was relatively quiet for London. The bed was comfortable and while the room was small, it had everything that I needed. I hound the staff friendly and helpful. Incredibly close to Paddington Station but I couldn't hear the trains. It's an easy walking distance from the station. There is parking but only two spaces, so I was very lucky to get one. It is outside the Congestion Zone but inside the ULEZ area. However, nearly all cars are ULEZ compliant, even my ancient 55-plate Micra is. If I stay there again, and I might well, I will seriously consider taking the train.

Everything was outstanding. The rooms are just a bit outdated.

Family stay near Hyde Park

Didn’t expect much as so cheap and it is basic but did the trick. Would stay here again.

Less than a 10 min walk to Paddington Station, and 15-20 mins to Hyde park. Had everything we needed, the room was quite small, the bathroom even smaller, but again fine for what we needed. (Bring your own toiletries though). Overall, we had a good overnight stay.

Overall good. Good location to near tube station etc. No kettle in the room! Disappointing! Also not water bottles in room again disappointing; other than these all okay.

One of the better establishments on Sussex Gardens. Room 407 was small but cozy for one person. I really enjoyed it. Safe in the room big plus for ease of mind. I would definitely stay here again. Recommendation of reception to nearby Victoria, Paddington pub turned out to be a highlight. Best fish and chips I ever had.

We booked a two night stay as we were attending Hyde Park concerts. The hotel is very close to Paddington station. We arrived slightly early because we wanted to get Hyde Park for around 1.30ish. Raj checked to if our room was ready( which it was😊) We checked put our bags in and off we went. The hotel is probably around 15/20 mins away from Hyde Park venue. Our room was a double and whilst it was on the small was very clean and presentable. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would not hesitate to book again.

Very comfortable stay. Very friendly and helpful staff with 24 hour front desk. Nothing was too much. Continental breakfast was lovely and again staff looked after us. We will definitely look to book a stay there again

Nice place to stay a few nights

Very good location, nice street near PADDINGTON station, which connects easily to anywhere including Heathrow airport. Nice room, comfy bed, toilet a bit small but I guess it is what it is for the price. Staff very friendly at all times. Nothing to complain about the place.

10 minute walk from paddington station, restaurants nearby, hospital and pharmacy within 5 minutes, and M&S about 15 minutes away. Close to multiple stations. Rooms are small, but i spent a lot of time out and about so this was a nice clean place to come home to sleep to at night. Felt safe even walking in the neighbourhood at night. Overall great price for what you get and location. I was one person in a room with two twin beds and this was perfect.

It was ok room was very small and no tea or coffee making facilities which we was led to believe the one in reception area was £1 a cup but turns out it was free but never discovered that till morning we left Hotel was a bit dated and fan in bathroom very noisy and you can't turn it off

Helpful staff, central location get what you pay for

Heat Hell.

Uncomfortable really really hot room. Even the fan on made no difference. Not a wink of sleep. Better the secind night as asked to move to a cooler room. Only heavy blankets on the bed so got rid of them and lay on top of the sheet. Torture.

It was good although a bit noisy and the wifi didn’t work at times!

Room and ensuite where small but in all other respects the hotel was good for us. Clean,quiet,and staff were helpfull.

I would use this hotel again without question. Decent value, clean and comfortable, close to Paddington station (circle line) and Hyde Park. Much better than my previous experiences in this area.

Find another hotel for your stay

Nice location, nice staf but the rooms in the cellar f.eks. room 612 is simply crap, smaller than small, and extreme noice in the morning when the staff prepares breakfast and noice from the reception upstairs when they walk arround. No aircondition - can not reccomend this hotel.
