Friendly and professional staff. Amazing views and excellent dining options. No requests were too small or too large for the staff to handle. Onsite wildlife was abundant yet not intrusive. Perfect place to see the area in style.

Amazing property, accommodation, service, and food

Really felt like staying in the rainforest, but with excellent food and service. Villa was very private. Not a wildlife preserve, but we did see monkeys, a mom and baby sloth, birds, and lizards on the expansive property. The geothermal pools and the use of all 3 Nayara restaurants and facilities were major plusses that probably aren't emphasized enough.

Nayara Springs was hands down the very best hotel we’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. Its attention to detail, ability to create private, quiet spaces within a large resort, and the incredibly high level of attention from staff are unparalleled. Our villa was immaculately clean and well-appointed, the grounds well tended, the wildlife ample, the hot pools and restaurants outstanding, and the free laundry, drinks and snacks the icing on the cake. THIS place is special and worthy of your time.

Simply the Best. Personalized service meets paradise at Nayara. The facilities are in keeping with the natural beauty of the rainforest giving a feeling of complete serenity. Aesthetically pleasing and functional, restaurants overlook the volcano, the pools are surrounded by lushness. Have never experienced such a high level of service anywhere. Rooms are spacious and well appointed offering every convenience: outdoor hot spring pool, double indoor and outdoor showers, canopy beds with mosquito nets (not necessary but very romantic), fruits and flowers changed daily, kettle, coffee machine, areas are well lit with enough space for storage. Swimming pools and hot springs are dotted throughout the property. The quality of food is of a high level and everything was prepared to our specifications. Special mention to Manuel at the front desk who made our stay, Erick our server at Ayla a great human, went the extra mile, and Daniel our driver who was so patient and informative, he made our long transit a complete joy. Can't wait to return.

Minnesota Visits the Rain Forest

Amazing place. Everything was top notch and very very good. I would recommend to anyone BUT….food and drinks are very pricey, thermal tubs attached to rooms are dirty and full of vegetation (never cleaned while we were there for four days) and plant material. Don’t order breakfast to your room, it gets cold easily. Breakfast (included) was very good with great options, but eat at the restaurant if you want it hot. Overall Service is excellent, entire property atmosphere is great, wine pairing meal was outstanding. The property (both meals, room, and drinks) prices itself out of being someplace I would go back to again.

The perfect place to celebrate all the special moments in your life. The property is amazing, and the staff is first class.

Serene, peaceful, elegant, delicious

I don’t have enough good things to say about this place and the staff. From the moment we arrived to moment we left everything was absolutely perfect. Customer service goes constantly above and beyond to make sure everything is nothing but perfect. The level of detail, the ability to predict our needs, the quality of each service, the natural beauty of the place and its people, I can’t stop praising this place. We are coming back for another retreat in direct contact with nature in this beautiful resort. Amazing the service was incredible

Beautiful grounds and views of the volcano, great pool and hot spring options. Food is average. Nayara springs villas could use a bit of an upgrade on the finishes for the price point. Staff and service is wonderful

Nayara Springs was exceptional. We stayed here for my birthday celebration for a 3 night treat and a treat it certainly was. Where do i begin?! The property itself was heavenly, I call it my heaven on earth. The staff were friendly, accommodating and pleasant. And the food! Every.single.restaurant. was top notch! For breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Consistency at its best. The spa was an experience to remember. It was absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to return again and again.

Excellent in every way

Top of the line experience. Service, ammenities, beauty, food, and overall experience is well worth the money. Stayed 4 nights during our honeymoon and they went the extra mile to make sure it was special, including complimentary chocolates, champagne, and roses/decorations to celebrate. We are not typically luxury resort customers so sometimes it felt like we should not need such high quality of service, but we learned to love it. The villa was the best accommodation we have ever experienced. Loved how spacious it was and the outdoor showers. The thermal spring pool was especially awesome during a heavy rainstorm or to soak in for a short bit to relax your muscles after a long day of trekking. Did not feel a need to experience the other local hot springs because we had one right in our room. It was great being able to access the other two resorts on the campus and indulge in their pools and restaurants, Ayla being our favorite. Keep in mind the campus is on a hillside and there is a lot of elevation to cover to get from Springs to the Tented Camp, but you can easily call for golf cart transportation to take you anywhere you want - just make sure to budget that time into your schedule. We loved it and would highly recommend for an unforgettable couples experience!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and Nayara lived up to expectations. The grounds were so beautiful, definitely an oasis! We did not like the food though… but it was really easy to catch a taxi into downtown La Fortuna and find something delicious! We really enjoyed our stay!

Gorgeous property, pleasant surprises around each corner, beautifully landscaped, so much wildlife on property, 3 spas, excellent dining options, many pools and hot springs to choose from, gorgeous accommodations, loved that the mini bar stuff was free, the people were friendly, informed, helpful and professional. I would highly recommend for anyone traveling to Costa Rica. Lots of nearby excursions as well! Excellent service.

So much to do on the property, every restaurant experience was better than the last. We loved our wine expert Leo who knew our tastes better than we did!

Awesome place to stay

Nayara Springs is truly the finest resort we have visited, in an amazingly beautiful area of Costa Rica. The villa is outstanding; beautiful, perfectly designed, and comfortable. The thermal feed pool outside the room is surrounded by lush landscaping and is the perfect morning wake up and late night relaxation. The staff are always ready to assist and pleasant in every part of the resort, restaurants, excursions, and Spa. In fact, we got engaged while off property and when we returned the staff decorated our room with rose petals. The food is exquisite! Fresh, creative, and healthy. The French Toast is the best in the world!!! The grounds are natural and a true jungle. We saw four different sloughs during our stay the resort. Nayara Springs is truly a top 10 resort in the world. We will be back soon!!!

This resort was simply amazing. We loved every minute. Specifically, what was great? The private plunge pools, the beds with netting, the gigantic bathroom, the outdoor shower, the service of everyone from front desk, to restaurants, to golf cart drivers, the food, the hot springs, the regular pools, the wildlife. During our stay at Nayara Hotel in Costa Rica, we experienced nothing short of perfection. We had a wonderful time at Nayara Springs. From the minute we walked in to the moment we left, we were met with superb, outstanding customer service from every single staff member there from the front desk, to the golf cart drivers to the restaurant hostesses and waiters. This hotel definitely stands out from others because of the service. This isnt the place for parties or entertainment but it is top tier for relaxation and nature. The grounds are stunning. Highly recommend and cannot wait to stay again!

This was hands down the best place I have ever stayed both in its location and facilities and the staff. They were flawless and we felt like royalty. We would consider coming back to La Fortuna just to stay at this place.

Nayara Springs is amazing! We LOVED our room, we loved the food, we loved all of the staff, we loved how every time we left our room it was a new adventure. We saw sloths, an agouti, tons of birds and lizards, butterflies, and a raccoon all without leaving the resort. I cannot say enough nice things about how wonderful Nayara Springs is. It was our anniversary and the staff made it so special! We loved every minute of this trip!

Best hotel with great amenities. Worth the $$$$

Terrible customer service had a last-minute emergency and asked to rebook or receive a credit in the hotel simply said no have a great day. Definitely will not be rebooking when we go back to Costa Rica. Will find another hotel.

Great Escape

The most amazing place my husband and I ever stayed at. It was such clean and beautiful resort with the happiest and attentitive staff. We were treated like royalty the entire time. The food was outstanding as well.

Stunning resort with a fantastic range of dining options, pools and tranquil thermal springs. Possibly one of the best views of Arenal via one of the pools/bars too! The staff were very friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms (Kings Springs villa) was huge with a double indoor and outdoor shower. Comfortable beds, great breakfast options. I love that you can visit other areas within the resort (Springs, Gardens and tented camps). I would love to visit again!

Perfect Honeymoon or Couples Retreat 10/10

Nayara Springs (Adults Only) was an absolute oasis nestled in the rainforest. The service and attention to detail were top tier and we truly felt appreciated and pampered. I have gone on many vacations and this one has topped the list as far as unique, tranquil and beautiful. The flowers and foliage were breathtaking at the resort and the entire resort is planned so thoughtfully keeping the rainforest at the forefront. Even though the resort was at full capacity, we truly felt like we were in our own world. The villa was amazing and the natural hot spring jacuzzi on our patio with relaxion bed and hammock were just what we needed. Note, the resort is very hilly, but one call and there is a chauffered golf cart ready to take you anywhere you please, whether is it is the spa, yoga studio, restaurant(s) or receiption. Again, cannot say enough. If you are looking for a relaxing honeymoon or anniversay please conisder Nayara Springs.

Incredible place to stay! You need not leave the property to see sloths, monkeys, lots of birds, frogs, and amazing flora. The hot thermal pools are also fantastic and quiet. You need not go to a place for hot springs when it’s right there. The staff are all so nice and the breakfast is delicious.

Our stay was outstanding! Definitely five stars. I’d like to acknowledge a few staff members as Fernanda who helped us experience an easy check-in process. Nicolas, Veronica and Joseph always were so helpful during the breakfast and dinner time, offering us excellent recommendations from the menu. Karina was amazing as well during checkout process.

Pura Vida!

My wife and I loved our recent stay at Nayara Springs! We stayed in one of the Villa (Spring) rooms. The villa is a large stand alone unit tucked into the jungle. The unit had a king bed, living area, work area, two vanities, indoor and outdoor showers, and a large deck with a private natural spring pool. We felt that the room was always very clean. The campus is beautiful and massive. We frequently saw wildlife including sloths and tucans. Most of the campus is on about a 10-20 degree slope. Due to this you will find most people are getting carted to each destination on campus. The staff is extremely friendly and responsive and it only takes about 5 minutes or so to call for one. Our favorite of the 3 pools was the tented camp area pool (at the top of the campus) due to the architecture, views and food. I would recommend making a dinner reservation for each day you are there prior to your check in. We ended up booking everything when we got there and ended up having to eat at 8:30 some nights. It was fine for us since we typically eat late but if that is unacceptable they do provide room service. My favorite dish was the block of cheese pasta at the Italian restaurant. The only excursion we did while at Nayara Springs was a night hike. Our guide was amazing and we saw multiple frogs and insects. We also did the volcanic mud massage, it was unique and great. The couples massage room was open air and we list to the sounds of the animals and jungle while being pampered.

My wife and I stayed at Nayara Springs for our 5 year anniversary in November 2023. It has taking a while to find the right words to describe our experience there. If you want to go back to the days where the service industry was exceptional and you are treated like you are the most important person on the property. This resort is where you want to be! Our experience began before we even arrived. From the customer service rep Johel who assisted me in making our transportation, dinner, spa, and excursion reservations to the staff that greets you at the resort. Upon arrival the staff was exceptional!! The warmth you felt walking into the lobby was infectious. The drivers who pick you up and drive you around the property were interactive, attentive, and always looking for little critters to show you. Sebastian, Daniel (Blanco), Alexander, Isaac, Diego, Larry, Jonathan and the rest of the staff were amazing!!! Our tour guides Isidro and driver Jean Carlos were one of the best highlights of the trip!! Cannot wait to finish our “Check” list on our next trip. Pablo, Luis and their driver that took us on the white water rafting excursion were exceptional!! The food and bars were amazing! Thank you for your hospitality, going above and beyond & even creating friendships for when we return in the future to see these wonderful people & this beautiful place again. Pura vida!!! PS - Already rebooked in September 2024!!

A true 5 star resort. The private thermal pool provided hours of relaxation. There was major construction going on by amor loco restaurant and it was LOUD. I can’t fathom how they were still booking the rooms around that area. They tried to put us in one but we asked to move. I thought that was bizarre. If you have an open room without noise, why not put us there to begin with. We ended up sitting around for a couple of hours until the room was ready. The Mediterranean restaurant at nayara tented camp (Ayla I think is the name) had just revamped the menu and we had dinner there, it wasn’t great, lunch was terrific though. The sushi was decent at Asia Luna. Amor loco was good, service was great. We dined at travesia in town 3x. It was excellent. They cleaned our pool while we were there and the new water pumped in was much hotter. We loved it. There’s a faucet to make it cooler if it’s too hot. If the water is only tepid and you like hot, it wouldn’t hurt to ask them to change it, it only takes a half hour or so. Our personal host was very nice but it would have been great if she was reachable via WhatsApp. This is pretty standard with other 5 star resorts. If we were out of our room and we needed something or had a question for her, we had to hunt down a phone to reach the front desk. They had a message section in the App but I never received a response. The grounds are fantastic, you never have to leave. We recommend and we will be back!

Amazing stay at Nayara

The customer service was top notch. From receptionist to house keeping to golf cart drivers, they all commit to provide great customer experience. The resort is surrounded by rainforest, we heard birds and howler monkey in early morning which is very cool. We saw sloths and some wild animals in our nature walk at the resort. Hotspring is nice too. Loved to dip your sore body after day activities in the hotspring.

Absolute Paradise! We could only get 2 nights and didn’t leave the resort for 48 hours. It is so beautiful and everyone is helpful and friendly. We had the couples spa treatment which was amazing! You must stay here if you ever go to Costa Rica! I hope we can come back.

An amazing room and grounds. Everything was fantastic and the tour guides were exceptional. We needed to cool down the spa but it was taken care of immediately. The food was great and a good mix.

Wonderful stay at Nayara Springs! The driver who picked us up, Michael, was fantastic. Our personal host, Alfredo, provided superb service and always projected a genuine willingness to help. Jeffrey (Ayla) and Joseph (Mis Amores) were excellent. Carrito drivers Fabian, Blanco (Daniel), and others were always friendly. And thank you, Saidy and team - as someone who pays attention to cleanliness, I also want to highlight how impressed we were that the cleaning staff cleaned under the rugs and changed the outside pillow cases. They made me feel that the place was as clean as our own home. The great service at Nayara Resort stands out as does the fresh quality of food and vegetables. In order to make it even better, the resort could think about directly highlighting its sustainability initiatives to its guests; I read a bit about them in one of the LHW books but don’t see them mentioned at all on the actual resort. Signs or information cards to show off all that you are doing is one way to inform guests of your efforts and to attract new guests. One improvement might be to review the amount of salt in the hot Asia Luna dishes. Thank you again to the Nayara team!

Absolutely stunning setting. Loved the private pool. The room is pure luxury. Found a red eyed tree frog on a plant in the outside shower our first night there. Great food. Kind helpful workers-the girls at the front desk helped book tours very easily. Fabian (hope I got his name right!) took us on a private sloth tour around the resort and was all smiles even in the pouring rain! Yoga was awesome. Laura led most classes while I was there as well as an additional Wednesday evening conscious movement and sound therapy class. What a treat!!! Such wellness therapies are something I look for in a resort and they do not go unnoticed or unappreciated! Would definitely return.

Had an amazing stay at Nayara. Each and every one of the staff was extremely kind, welcoming, and attentive to everything we needed, no matter the time. They are extremely accommodating when it comes to working with your preferred itinerary. There’s so much to do and explore for those who are on-the-go kind of travelers and there’s also a sense of peace and serenity for those that just want to relax. All the facilities were very clean. The room was exquisite — your own plunge pool, your own outdoor shower. You feel a sense of solitude and privacy as if you’re in your own little world. Such a dreamy romantic getaway. It was absolutely worth the price staying here. Don’t hesitate to book.

Nayara Springs is the most wonderful property I have ever stayed at. The staff cannot do enough for you, the villas are exquisite, the food is amazing & the property is just an experience in itself. At anytime you can ask the staff if they have seen sloths or frogs & they will take you to see the animals. They leave gifts in your room. The place is spotless & the villa is so big. Thermal heated private pool, giant indoor shower & even bigger private outdoor shower. The breakfast that comes with your stay is a La carte. Bread, fruit, cappuccino, fresh pressed juices as much as you want. It was my favorite part of my trip.

What a beautiful place! The service and everything was perfect! They do a great job making you feel comfortable, and all of the employees seemed to like working there which made the whole atmosphere even better.

There is not an option for a higher star, but this resort has been our favorite adult get away trip. So relaxing and peaceful, and the entire staff truly works to ensure you are happy. The customer service is unbeatable.

While staying on top of everything else, she tooo the time share help us get aquainted with Costa Rica and La Fortuna in every area imaginable. She was super friendly. Most Amazing Place

Could not say more about how wonderful this hotel is. From the personal service at check in to the amazing rooms and amenities. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

We stayed at Nayara Gardens in 2021 and this time at Nayara Springs. Our second visit to this property was even better than our first (which we didn’t think would be possible), because we had a pool in our villa. The staff were extremely pleasant and always so cheerful and ready to assist with all our needs/requests. The service, villas, food, and drinks were impeccable, and exceeded our high expectations! Everything we came to Costa Rica for was onsite (rainforest, volcano, hot springs, sloths, birds, spa, yoga, etc), and La Fortuna Waterfall was only a 10 minute cab ride away, so we didn’t need to book a tour and was able to control our length of time spent away from the majestic Nayara Resorts. The only complaint is it takes 3 hours to get there from LIR airport, but it’s absolutely worth the drive and it’s only 2-2.5 hours if you don’t make any pit stops. Take Dramamine an hour prior (or as soon as your flight lands) if you are prone to motion sickness! We will definitely return and hope to stay at Nayara Tents next time!

We spent 4 nights at Nayara Springs and absolutely loved it. If you're considering a stay here, do it. It's been our best experience at a resort. The staff at Nayara were the best part. I've never had better service. One of our travel companions was told there was an orange iguana on site and mentioned she would love to see it. Two days later the staff were still trying to locate it for her! The grounds were immaculate. The restaurants were a surprise and better than expected. Our favorite was Ayla at the tented camps. Joseph, the bartender at Henry's bar makes great drinks and we didn't miss a night with him. Kevin and the entire golf cart crew were incredible. It was a perfect stay.

Nayara Springs made Costa Rica our favorite destination spot yet. The customer service was absolutely above and beyond and the facility could not have been more beautiful! All of the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and tend to our every need. The drinks were delicious, the food was divine, and the environment was gorgeous. If I could give this place 100 stars, I would! Ana was our tour guide for the majority of our outings, and she went above and beyond to show us the local culture and share her extensive knowledge of the environment. This is a trip that we will never forget, and we will definitely be back as soon as we possibly can!

I've traveled a lot of the world and Nayara is easily one of the most breathtaking resorts I've ever been to. The villa is HUGE and you get your own thermal spring pool which we spent a lot of time in and out of. The staff is amazing, some of the kindest people you'll ever meet. The cleanliness was a 10 out of 10. The room was turned down twice a day and they also offered free laundry. The resort grounds are unbelievably beautiful, and you would never know the resort was at full capacity, it felt empty because it is such a large property. I can't say enough good things about our experience at Nayara, we did not want to leave!

I absolutely loved my stay at Nayara Springs. The property is gorgeous; there's plenty to do on-site across the three Nayara properties. I did a solo trip & found it to be really relaxing and rejuvenating. The complimentary daily yoga was something I looked forward to. Plenty of restaurant options, unique pool areas and activities to choose from. One of my favorite hotels I've stayed at for sure.

stellar property embedded into nature. beauty at every turn. staff and service impeccable but the food - unfortunately the food across the board but especially at its most expensive restaurant was simply poor. bland. unimaginative, poorly prepared and, sadly, a large flaw in an otherwise 5 star experience. i hope they work hard to change this soon.

Nayara Springs is the closest place to paradise! In addition to excellent service, the rooms, food and amenities are spectacular. The thermal springs and the view of the Arenal Volcano is the icing on the cake. This property is a must-see in Costa Rica!

A little piece of heaven on earth! Loved our villa with our own mineral springs pool. The staff was so kind and so helpful! Loved that they will pick you up in a golf cart for dinner. The two restaurants we tried were fantastic. Our favorite La Terrace had delicious food. Breakfast by your pool in the morning, doesn't get better than this. Truly and unforgettable experience!

Everyone at the property was helpful and friendly. Food was amazing and the rooms are spacious and clean.

Fabulous property. Staff are unmatched. Dinner is a culinary experience in each restaurant and we enjoyed them all. Drink menus are expertly curated. We saw sloths and toucans daily. Breakfast at Ayla is wonderful as is the buffet at La Terrazza. Breakfast in the room by the pool is nice but the food offered does not meet the level of eating in the restaurants. We enjoyed walking the grounds. The three resorts are truly magical.

We just returned from an incredible 5 days at Nayara Springs. It was just as beautiful and perfect as the pictures. Check in was quick and thorough, our room was ready, beautiful and clean. Received room service twice daily with drinking water and restock of complementary items. Every restaurant was incredible. Alot of uphill walking, but there are golf carts everywhere to give you a ride. The staff was all happy, polite and at your service. The private plunge pools were hot and perfect for a couple trip. We can not wait to return!!!

Spectacular luxury resort in the rainforest. Beautiful setting, excellent service, fine dining, comfortable and spacious villas with hot spring jacuzzi. Would love to go again.
