Awesome and convenient location for few nights next to ocean.

On arrival the man on the check out was very efficient and pleasant. I thought the room was a bit tired from when we stayed there 20 years ago! Overall a good stay thanks.

Love this place. Used a few times now. No brainer. Book it.

All shops and dining were in walking distance. The a/c worked really well. Laundry facilities were great. Safe and secure underground parking. Best of all the beach is straight across the road with a good playground for the kids. Dogs are allowed on the beach. Would definitely recommend this hotel with or without children.

Great for us, a family with 2 kids under 7yrs. Ideal location with Restaurant, Beach and massive playground across the road. Easy to walk around and find a variety of places to eat. Under 10mins drive to the airport. Hotel was clean and tidy and we were pleased our room was ready early.

Great location, the room was large and modern. My only complaint was the room was quite noisey - there was a lot of internal building noise from water pipes or the like. Other than that a reasonable place to stay.

We experienced a lot of internal"building"noise...not sure if it was the heating system, or the plumbing. Very limited TV channels to watch,which was disappointing as we were resting at the hotel between two long drives .

Great location, nice rooms - a few niggles

Friendly staff at reception - not always there during their working hours - had to write notes a couple of times. Our room was the King Bed Beachside with balcony - we were on the top floor. The balcony is not a bonus - it was dirty on the concrete floor part, the seats were small, metal (cold) and had bird crap on them. If advertised as part of the booking, this area should be cleaned. The bed was very comfortable and king size as stated. The room was fit for purpose - a short, relaxing stay. The bathroom was a good size, clean and the shower had good pressure. The towels are small, off-white and thin - for a hotel, I expected better. Plenty of tea, coffee, sugar etc. The car park was free, secure in a locked space with plenty of room. The heating was good - easy to adjust to our liking. The walls are thin - could hear the neighbours. Being on the beach side of the building not always a plus - got woken up in the middle of the night by a very loud singer parked in the beach car park (not hotel's fault so have not rated down because of this - just saying). Would stay again - hopefully they update their towels!

Location great several restaurants in Beach across the street

Was very impressed with our room. Really lovely with great bathroom facilities and smellies. The overall impression was one of a cared for hotel. Value for money 3/5 - think all the prices went up for Horse of the Year as bookings and prices changed over a couple of week dramatically. Find this unprofessional. The checkin. Staff at night was a bit off - the morning for was late for work I think so rushing and a bit huffy 😂 Fabulous parking.

Very spacious rooms. Neat and clean facility with separate outdoor dining area, which was quiet handy for a family with two kids. Staff was very helpful, onsite secure parking and laundry facilities! Across the street from beach, playground, plenty of dining options. Highly recommend.

I am not sure if this is really a hotel or an apartment complex. First off, there is mold growing within the grout in the shower. Dirty rings around the toilet inside underneath. Left with only teensy bits body wash and shampoo tube along with another teensy hand soap. Went to the front desk to get some more, guess what, the office is closed. No one there to help. Outside carpet is stained and filthy... looks like it has not been changed since the facility was constructed. Very disappointing.

Great location right opposite a swimming beach and park. Amazingly happy and helpful staff, great parking and a wonderful room. Overall a fantastic experience. My 4 year old daughter loved the place, and being only a few minutes drive to Napier city it was fantastic.

Just what we wanted- a quiet well appointed room with good self catering facilities. The hotel is very close to the beach. Casual eating is available nearby. Close to the city centre, easy to access.

The receptionist was lovely and her communication that day was spot on. Her welcome was exceptionally friendly and efficient. Shame all the doors are locked from the basement parking and from reception during the day. The bed had a bit of a dip in it and I find those topper pads very hot to sleep on. The bed was really too soft for my back. That was the only issue. Otherwise excellent.

The staff was very nice and extremely accommodating. We had stayed at the Crown Hotel the night before and their rooms were much larger and nicer.
