It’s was a great place for us plus the breakfast included, it was a good meal every morning. I recommend that to anyone!

Close to airport and yellow bus service to and from hotel convenient. Limited dining options unless you eat at Hotel.

All was good here. Would recommend without qualification.

Our room was dated and dark. Much different than pictures on the website. Didn’t like checking in on a kiosk. Made it feel impersonal. There aren’t a lot of restaurants in the area and the food on property wasn’t great.

Very neat property - was a bit hot when we walked into our room though! Lovely dine in bakery right down the road with great take away and sit options for decent prices. Close to most of what you’d need and even closer to the airport for easy landing or take off. The style is very unique, modern and fun and would recommend to many. Wish the pool was open a touch later - but that might’ve just been a seasonal thing. Overall nice stay. Didn’t do the dining option but my father has before and said it was good.

The menu selection was limited and staff advised no flexible options. Reception staff were helpful but restaurant staff lacking experience and service skills. The stay was great but we paid premium and felt restaurant staff unorganised and bit short. Not trained or skilled perhaps?

Great Staff

The rooms are beautiful and clean.

The property is perfectly situated for easy access to the airport and major roads. Onsite parking is a big bonus and the place has a clean, modern feel.

Nice & Quiet, safe too. Very lovely stay. Lovely spacious room & comfy bed. Bake Haven next door delicious variety of food & beverages incl smoothies bubble tea nice coffee tables & chairs to dine in if preferred, also Indian restaurant & Bank machine.

We stayed at the Naumi in Queenstown last year which is a fabulous small hotel, and we booked this hotel on the strength of that. But we were disappointed with a lot of things with the hotel and wouldn't use it again.

So much detail in this room. As soon as I checked in, I spent nearly 15 minutes admiring each and every item in this room. Was given ground floor and because it's a airport transit hotel it was noisy until 11pm but after 11pm I had a great sleep, highly recommend to use door sausage. Easy checkin, great food in the restaurant, paid parking, stress free shuttle booking with reception and all the staff were friendly ready to assist even when I departed at 4AM they were amazing.

We had a pleasant stay.

Room. Laminate floors, single pane (?) windows, from the sound of it: no insulation between floors. Odd mix of updated and outdated decor / fixtures. Area rug underneath / around bed: super stained. Breakfast area: told staff all (3) milk containers were empty, waited 20 mins … never got refilled. Breakfast buffet was decent. Again, area rugs there too: heavily stained. Music was fun but too loud. Note: the free “barista coffee” is one small cup. At $35 NZ you’d think they could offer a large cup. Pool. Water very warm but pretty pool.

looks cool in photos but it’s worn out

This hotel was a bit of a let down - we arrived and all the reception staff were chatting to each other, so we used the self check in. The hotel is in a weird area with very little around, but also a 10 minute taxi from the airport. The hotel itself was laid out weirdly and we had to walk very far with all of our luggage to our room - no staff offered to help. Our room had a strong smell of damp, which we later read others had complained about in other reviews and the hotel has clearly done nothing to fix this.

Very quiet comfortable rooms. For runners the hotel was about 3 km away from some beautiful running trails. Would stay there again!

Interesting, Different and Nice Hotel Experience

Navi at reception was excellent… thanks for your professionalism and kindness!!

Unfortunately, there were 2 cancelled flights the day we stayed, which meant lots of travellers staying. Kitchen clearly understaffed, a lot of diners waiting more than 1. 5 hours after ordering, to get meals We waited 1.5 hours, and whilst my meal was delivered, my partner’s meal was forgotten. The staff were clearly swamped and apologetic, and agreed not to charge us for my meal or drinks. My impression was that the place was lightly staffed as it was a public holiday, probably to save paying time & a half wages and incurring days in lieu, and there seemed to be no contingency plan in place for unexpected extra guests. Felt sorry for the staff on the floor. Disappointing, as previous stays have been really good, and we usually have Naumi as our preferred airport accommodation. Hope this feedback provides food for thought for the management team.

Absolutely loved the room, the shower had really good pressure and deep bath was amazing. The outdoor pool was heated which was nice. The reception staff were brilliant and appreciate them getting me into the room early. The only reason I say 4 not 5 star is the restaurant staff let the place down. Still happy to go back as room was comfy.

Bad standard

Very bad standard, the room has no wine glass , no slipper though I paid $240 a night. They also charge carpark $10 a night even their motel is out of town.

Great location, outstanding front desk staff, clean room.

The images shown are great but my room had a terrible noise due to a malfunctioning pump in the AC system. The manager called the maintenance team but they wouldn’t fix it until next day. They offered me another room (different, less convenient and with no relief in price) and didn’t help at all moving the luggage. I had too many bags so decided to keep the room and waited to the next day (thinking they would adjust my price and rate too) but they did nothing! This noise did not let anyone sleep. They came to fix it and they said it would take days! The maintenance man (only nice person in the entire hotel!) really worked it and got it semi fixed. It improved but other major noises also started and I simply had it with the staff and this hotel. I stayed for 5 horrible nights. They cleaned rooms and let bugs in and I found them in my bed and shower. The food in their restaurant is blend and really bad and pricey. Their staff should know what attractions are near by but they would not help you and never provide assistance. The gym was ok but also under repair. In general, it is one of the most costly hotels I had in a month of travel and the worse.

Beds comfy , staff very helpful , but the bath didn’t have a plug , the room smelt musty and the seimmjmh pool a bit grubby

As a quick overnight before flying out it was fine. The decore is working hard to cover up a depressing cinderblock building and was also fine. But it wasn’t a clean as I’d like, the AC in our room was blasting like a meat locker, and the shower configuration meant that the whole bathroom got wet when it was used. The restaurant was very slow but ok once the food arrived. Check in was kind of slow for reasons I can’t explain but everyone was nice enough. It was fine.

The food quality is excellent, but the menu options are quite limited, leaving less variety for guests seeking different cuisines. While the overall experience is good, expanding the food choices would enhance the stay even more.

Delightful hotel with friendly staff.

Stay was wonderful. Bedding was good. Room was spacious and bathroom clean and adequate. The only thing i was surprised is with parking fee of $10NZD per day. Either it was not mentioned or i didn't read the fine print.

Nice, clean comfortable place to stay. Lighting in room is quite strange. Lighting over bathroom sink is horrible. Very good food. Overall a good value.

Fortunate to have stayed here twice already and it’s always been a pleasant experience. Love the modern interior and all round staff who are friendly and accomodating. Highly recommend to all. Nice clean, modern hotel for a quick one-night stay close to the airport. Hotel appears recently re-done, and very clean and comfortable.

Good hotel for one night when flying

Good location from the airport and easy access when using the airport to hotel shuttle bus, $8.00 each way per person from the airport to hotel. Hotel has been decorated to a modern theme. Restaurant is ok, very basic and limited menu. Bar menu very limited and average selection .

A little oasis by the airport.

We love the quirkiness of the place. The art and furnishings are great. Love the pool. The food was excellent. Never had to go anywhere else. And the staff were all so friendly and helpful. We recommend it and will stay here again.

Great stay at naumi!

I always stay at Naumi for an early flight. It is very conscientious and only a short Uber to airport. The yellow bus also stops on its airport circuit. I got an upgrade to a king room with a bath so that was great. The rooms have access to outside so I was able to sit in the sun and read my book. The restaurant has an Asian menu or bar type food as well.

We arrived late at night and left early in the morning. Aircon wasn’t cooling and long walk from one end of the hotel to the other with my elderly parents and their luggage.

Cool funky hotel!

The hotel was very convenient to the Auckland airport and was quite comfortable as well. The soaking tub and nice shower were an excellent touch

We loved this hotel as it was conveniently close to the airport, and the staff were very friendly.

The staff are second to none! The room experiences are phenomenal and a cut above the rest ,serendipitous experience to say the least.

All was good.

The quirky styling was the drawcard to come to this hotel. The different colour schemes are vibrant and uplifting. We did have to walk a long long way to our room so next time I would ask for one closer to reception, but that was the only very minor negative.

Our nature themed room was lovely. Clean room with good wifi. Access to a strip mall right beside with laundry, cafe, grocery, and liquor store. Nice restaurant and bar downstairs as well as a vending machine in the lobby for any needed snacks or drinks at night. Would stay again.

Hello

Ideal for night before dropping offrental car next morning. Recommend a recky of airport to drop off rental car before flight if possible. Fare walk to international departures from drop off point or shuttle bus stops / car parks. Shopping park nearby, was able to check in early no problem as room ready , no extra costs.

It says free parking on the add but i actually had to pay $10.00 for the 1 night we stayed there

The property was excellent,it was clean,quiet and close to the airport. The choice of food for dinners was limited and the breakfast buffet and dinner were very expensive considering the selection of food

Predatory…

Predatory behaviour, 2-3x increase in costs over standard rates… why. Dotty Suite.. Dirty & unclean, badly serviced (still had previous guest hair filled brush) and just nasty condiments (cheap) Shower was designed for someone under 4” tall. Coffee machine did not work correctly and most paint work look like it had been painted with the rough end of a pineapple. If you ask for a invoice at check out expect it to take 10-15 min so don’t be in a rush, like needing to catch a plane.

Wonderful!

We had a great time. The room we had was full of color and it overlooked the pool and courtyard area. The breakfast was amazing! So many great food options, from bacon and eggs to fruit to cereals and pastries and fresh smoothies. The front desk was also very helpful at check in and had no problems with check out.
