Great location in the heart of Vilnius with spacious and well-designed rooms, but the service fell short. Housekeeping was inconsistent—beds weren’t always made, and bed sheets weren’t changed during my four-night stay. Parking was poorly managed, with staff prioritizing their own spaces over guests. Breakfast staff created an awkward atmosphere by questioning guest timing, even though there were still two hours left in the service. Additionally, no advance notice was given about a noisy New Year’s party, disrupting sleep. Room for improvement in service and communication.
We had a very nice stay in hotel Narutis. The hotel is very central right on Pilies street with tons of restaurants and cafes available in walking distance. Location was very handy to watch the New Year's celebration, which took place only 5 mins from the hotel. On arrival we were told we were upgraded to the Suite (room 134) which was very nice and spacious. One thing to note is that this Suite has no view as it ovelooks the parking lot and the rubbish bins and was a bit claustrophobic. If you're after views and natural light, I would avoid this room. We asked if we can transfer to a room at the front, but this wasn't possible as the hotel was full. Pipework is also quite noisy, but that's understandable as it's an old building. SPA area was clean and not too busy, so we enjoyed it a lot. Breakfast is good, but gets really busy around 9:30, so you will struggle to find seating for more than 2 people.
Great time in Vilnius
We had a lovely time at the Narutis hotel. The lobby and bar are wonderful, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel is excellent.
A lovely hotel right in the middle of the old town, steps away to every spot.
The first thing was they charged me $40 for an early check in. Very tacky. Secondly the mini split started emitting an alarm at 4AM and they basically said they couldnt do anything about it. After shutting off the system the alarm persisted for over an our. Lastly they stress a free drink in the bar for guests but you get only a beer or a glass of house wine. This I would expect at a Motel 6.
The hotel is very charming, cute with great location in the center of Vilnius. The breakfast was delicious but better to start at 7a.m
My favorite place to stay in Vilnius !
First of all, the location is amazing. We could walk everywhere very easily. Delicious food all around! The area is extremely clean and safe. Now for the best part - the staff. this hotel has the most incredible team working. Everyone was so kind, so helpful, I truly haven’t experienced service like this in a long time. I loved the breakfast every morning, very healthy and fresh food. The pool and sauna were clean and very fun after a long day of walking. Thank you Narutis - I will see you next year!
Narutis Hotel is gorgeous. The area is very picturesque - so you get a full experience of the best of Old Town Vilnius.
Beautiful historical place to stay on old town♥️☺️
Wonderful hotel in a great location.
My wife and I stayed in the Narutis (Superior Room) for two nights in June 2024. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. The hotel employees were all very friendly and helpful and the hotel is beautiful. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. I was surprised how quiet it was, given the hotel’s great location in the old town (the city was very crowded when we were there). The complimentary breakfast was very good, and we also appreciated the free parking at the back of the hotel. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and we would strongly recommend this beautiful hotel in the center of Vilnius.
A gorgeous hotel with lovely staff. Sauna/spa area is a bonus!
This property was convenient in terms of walking distance to all attractions in old town Vilnius. Not exactly sure why this is considered a 5 Star hotel thought. I guess some people would view the dated decor as part of the charm, but it felt dingy in my opinion. Plus, this was my feeling on the hotel after coming from the Grand Kempinski in Riga, which was complete luxury with stellar attention to detail. I did not find this at the Narutis. While most of the staff were nice at the Narutis, we did encounter a sort of rude staff member at breakfast. Also, the breakfast menu was unimpressive and cold to boot. Granted it was complimentary, however, we've had much better. We ate at the hotel restaurant one evening for dinner. The meal was good. Very limited menu options though. They also had the same menu options for room service, which seemed odd to me. Also, strange was the fact that there was one staff member in the restaurant who did everything. He was the bartender, server, bus boy, etc. We joked that he probably was in the kitchen cooking the meals too. All in all, the stay was OK. 5 Stars?? Absolutely not.
Excellent location with parking!
We started our Baltic tour at this hotel and loved our big, quiet suite. Being able to park our car in Old Town was a huge plus. Really enjoyed our stay.
The hotel is located in the heart of old town and is close to most of the attractions. Lots of restaurants located just few steps away. The staff were very helpful and helped us with all of our needs.
very unique place!
Best of the best hotel in Vilnius! Thank you so much for amaizing stay! We definitely comeback!😘❤️🥰❤️
My favorite stayover hotwl in Vilnius! Excellent service and staff and the interiors of the hotel are timeless.
Highly recommend
The room was lovely, the receptionist could not have been more helpful - I don’t know your name but you sorted out our transfer to Riga. Absolutely 10/10.
Good
Very good hotel
Fine
Beautiful inside !awesome views good breakfast hotel team was friendly ! stay here many times definitely we will back
Not as good as usual
I have stayed in this Hotel many times, however, this was one of the worst stays. It was not clean as usual, there were hair on the bathroom floor, dust. TV vires handing on the wall and super old not fully functioning curtains. I understand that some rooms are better than others and we were unlucky this time, however, no matter what room you stay in it should always be clean.
it is a charming hotel in a great location with a wonderful breakfast. it is a perfect complement to a stay in vilnius which is a totally charming city.
Nice staff
The most comfortable bed that I've slept in for a very long time
Lovely property in the center of Vilinius. Great service and breakfast was lovely. Would strongly recommend it
A great option in Vilnius.
Es hermoso el hotel, las habitaciones muy de 5 estrellas, la comida y todo está muy cerca, puedes ir caminando a todo lado
Ambience, food & location all great! Service was helpful & responsive but could be a bit more warm & friendly.
Great location in old town. Everything is walkable. Lovely rooms and very good breakfast buffet.
Perfection. Great location. Amazing kitchen and the old town charm. Staff is wonderful and very educated.
Not happy
Room cold when spoke to reception heating off due to energy crisis brought us up the last oil filled heater, which was fine, but wouldn’t of it they didn’t have any less. Enquired about using the spa again closed with same reason, asked why we hadn’t been told, said it was on website. I booked hotel in February and feel we should of been informed. I paid for a deluxe room with spa access, so asked if the room rate would be reduced accordingly, they said they couldn’t do that, offered us late checkout instead, not satisfactory. I had specifically chosen the hotel due to the spa
Great location and very friendly and helpful staff.
We spent a week at the Narutis in April. We loved it! Awesome staff, great location, excellent breakfast included, hotel has lots of character. Well done to all the staff!
Excellent
A Nice Victorian features hotel with lots of nice pictures around and lots of mirrors I would recommend it for adults only a lovely Spa area not very big on my visit the steam room was not working which was a big disappointment also the water features was not working or water Jets, lovely nice lounge and bar area to relax in if you want quite and peaceful to read a good book. My room was very comfortable TV Wi-Fi etc and a lovely bathroom. But no water or coffee on the day I arrived only alcohol and snacks in the minibar which are chargeable to the room if used. Morning breakfast a variety of Continental and conditional breakfast on offer very clean and well presented. Location of hotel is perfect as in the middle of Old Town and lots of nice restaurants and things to see. Definitely would come back again.
Great Location
This hotel is in a great location to explore the old town of Vilnius. The hotel was nice but a little dated.
AC in the room did not work / room was very steamy and hot - could not sleep .
Highly recommended
Stayed in one of the suited. It was lovely. The spa is an added bonus. Highly recommended
Narutis is definitely not a five star property. While it was an upscale hotel ten or so years ago, its glory days are definitely over. Poorly maintained facilities, understaffed, no concern for the client, scarce breakfast, stained carpets and couches, no coffee or water in the room, Ikea towels, no regular turn down service, no shower in the room. 15 minute drive to the parking lot that does not show up on the GPS. No valet. Upon arrival waited 20 minutes for check in since the reception was empty. No air conditioning in the common areas. The receptionist later explained that there was just him and one housekeeper at the hotel. Printer at the business center not working.Nobody at the reception to check out at 5am in the morning. Hotel locked. Elevator not working. Eventually the sound of rolling suitcases down the steep stairs woke up a security guy who let us out the door without even a good morning. We went to the parking lot, the gate was closed. Nobody answered the phone. Had to run back, ask to open up the gate. Stressful departure. I could ho on and on. Narutis is a parody of a five star hotel. Will not return.
OVERPRICED and NOT 5-stars at all
OVERPRICED with a very low service and the rooms is FAR from 5 stars hotel. More than that the floor in the bathroom were supposed to be heated but they were NOT and it was extremely COLD in the room. Breakfast is ok but again we are talking about price/quality metric so it is far from what you actually pay for. i DO not recommend.
Gem of a Hotel with a Perfect Location
The Narutis Hotel was truly a gem of a hotel. It was the favorite of our hotels throughout our 2 week trip. We absolutely loved our stay. It was luxurious, fancy, quaint, and special. My father wants to revisit Lithuania again just to stay at that hotel. We selected the Family Room option with 1 king bed and 1 sofa bed. My parents had a standard room with a queen bed. The rate included free breakfast, free WiFi, and free parking. My parents’ room no. 224 had a wood ceiling and a adorable little cubby area with a small table and two chairs with a gorgeous drape behind it. Our room no. 313 had two large windows facing the Vilnius University with a couch. Both rooms were decorated beautifully. They were so fancy and lovely. Our room had a chandelier. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The room was spacious and grand. Everything was immaculate. It was spectacular. The hotel provided a pack n play for our baby, which made traveling with a baby a breeze. My parents enjoyed dinner at the hotel. They said it was their favorite meal of the trip. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast in the special cellar room. It was unique and fun. My son loved just being downstairs in the cellar. The Hotel was only a 5 minute walk from the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania, 5 minutes from the Cathedral Square, 4 minutes from St. Anne's Church, 11 minute walk from the Bastion of Vilnius City Wall, and 15 minute walk to the Gates of Dawn. The location was perfect. We hope to return.
The hotel is located right on the city centre, the staf was extremely friendly and helpful, the room was excellent.
Excellent location with classic design room
As claimed 5 star hotel, No kettle / coffee machine provided in the room. Need to take hot water at restaurant. Basically, need to pay all drinks except tap water in the room.
Excellent hotel in heart of Vilnius
Great location near the center of old town Vilnius, steps from many bars and restaurants. Great breakfast service in a very unique "cave" basement area. Beautiful multi-story atrium in the main lobby. The hotel's bar/restaurant was very expensive, out of line with other nearby options. I recommend the hotel wholeheartedly, but I cannot suggest eating or drinking there.
Beautiful art deco style hotel
The Hotel is located within the old town. It’s an older hotel in a classic style and with a quirky charme, but well maintained. It’s one of the best hotels in Vilnius. Rooms are spacious and nicely furnished, but many of them not offering much of a view from the rooms. All staff are friendly and take time to explain things and listen to your requests and help with reservations etc The breakfast had plenty of choice which includes various cereals, fruit, meats, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon and tomatoes with cheese on them. You could ask for fried eggs made to order from the waiter. We enjoyed our stay and the hotel is ideally situated in the middle of the old town. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely welcome to your beautiful hotel.
Wonderful location, superb hotel accommodations
Great location, very comfortable beds, clean and quiet while in walking distance from major points of interest Breakfast is the best in town, love it
Great hotel, would recommend
The hotel was clean and comfortable and the lobby is beautiful. It is conveniently located in the center of Old Town. The staff were very helpful.
Dated rooms, broken a/c and poor service
Our room had windows facing into the interior of the hotel. The lights inside are kept on all night and the curtains are not lined well therefore the room is not dark at night. Apart from this, we couldn’t sleep due to the very old air con machine that was broken and every 20-30 minutes would make a very loud banging noise which would make you jump out of your sleep. When reporting this to the receptionist, she was not apologetic and said ‘but it works and cools the room’. On checkout, the 10% discount voucher wasn’t applied to our 100 EUR bar bill because it should have been presented at the time. Fair enough, but then after checking out I realised they charged an additional 6 EUR to my card because apparently one box of chips wasn’t accounted for! Very poor service.
Elegant well managed hotel with excellent location.
I complained at time of visit on several matters and they sent u a note that they had addressed the matters directly with me. They had not.
Nice hotel in excellent location. Friendly staff and flexible with regard to checking in a bit early. Some parking available behind the hotel, but not easy to find. Best to contact hotel for directions into the parking area. Good breakfast options and nice bonus of a complimentary tea and cannelle between 4-5pm.
A great stay at the heart of the old town.
Amazing hotel at the heart of the old city. Great service, tasty breakfast, within walking distance to all main attractions. Highly recommended.
great location in old town nice breakfast comfortable beds
Personal service. Great location. Parking at the site.
Responsive staff, clean and great location close to multiple attractions and cafes Excellent spa
great place to stay
beautiful hotel, great staff. will stay again
This was my first stay at the Narutis Hotel; I must say the customer service is excellent. From being greeted at the reception to using the SPA faculties, every one has been friendly and more than happy to assist. I would like to point out that the in-room snacks are rather expensive (I spent €11.80 on two mini packets of pringles) and for one bottle of water I could have a an entire meal two doors down. The hotel organised various bookings on my behalf and were calm and patient as my friends repeatedly turned up late and had to reschedule. The tour for €104 of the local Castle was interesting, however please be advised that cost does not include access into the Castle, rather the chauffeur will “wait outside free for one hour”. A taxi ride for €40 return would’ve delivered a similar result on Taxify. The Hotel can organise pick up and drop off, which is pricey at €50, but convenient. The hotel stay was overall good value for money, but at points I felt over-priced. I would certainly stay again, but perhaps avoid some in-room delicacies.
The bathroom should be properly ventilated -- is was not. The second room key issue -- as noted before -- should not have been an ISSUE at all. Service regarding the breakfast should be more efficient in regard to the presentation of coffee and hot tea -- several mornings it was TOO SLOW!! Also, they ran out of several food items on New Year's Eve morning.
The room was incredibly hot and could not Be altered using the heating. Also not extraction from the bathroom so after a hot shower the room temperature was again increased. The extra cost to use the spa is unreasonable. Hotel guests can use the spa from 6-10am. Slightly annoying when breakfast is 7-10. At a 5 star hotel I’d expect better.
Vilnius mini break
A lovely room and very good breakfast. It’s in a beautiful area and easy to walk around most of Vilnius. The spa opening times were limited and that’s my only complaint.
Lovely hotel. Central to everything.would recommend.
Nice hotel in central excellent location. Arrived at midday, room was ready and early check in charge requested! Additional charge for tea, coffee in room so didn’t get the VIP service. Good breakfast.
I was upgraded to a deluxe room, which is really a suite. Loved this place to bits, so much personality, so much space.
Amazing hotel, amazing hotel staff, they very kindly upgraded us and the room was incredible! My only negative feedback is that I have a severe nut allergy and during breakfast the nuts are laid out openly on a plate right next to all the other food - when I told the breakfast manager she just shrugged and said “And?” however the fantastic front of house staff sorted this out.
Very comfortable hotel in a great location.
Very small rooms. Staff quite short and snappy at times. ‘Spa’ small and ‘pool’ the size of a big bath! Plus, only free access until 10am. Must pay €26 thereafter to use facilities. But, the hotel is in a great location!
Stayed second time at this hotel ! Best so ever with location kitchen and service R
Great location, cozy ambiance. Rooms are spacious.
Historic hotel centrally located in Old Town
Excellent central location. Very attractive historic building well converted into modern hotel.
Fantastic One of the best ever. True 5 star great location but hard to get to. Luxurious
Very nice hotel except one bad experience
We stayed at #532. It was at 5th floor, but reached only by walking along stair or by getting up to 4th floor with lift, then walk on the other end and down to 2nd floor and walk up along stair. Hotel was made as renovation of old building, there was no other way. But, when check-in, such complication was not explained at all, then we lost a way to our room although we reached with help by a hotel staff at the end. Hotel was located at a very convenient place, but it should be informed when a room was booked, we were OK but it is very inconvenient for other having difficulty in walking.
Would stay there again!!
We stayed at the Narutis Hotel for 4 nights on our first trip to Vilnius. It was an awesome hotel in old town with very friendly staff, delicious breakfast with lots of choices, super comfortable beds and great location to all the sights!! We will definitely be back to visit lovely Vilnius and would most definitely stay at Narutis hotel . We highly recommend it!!
Great hotel in the middle of old town buzz
Amazing location, amazing service. Very nice premises. Excellent breakfast. Perfect base for visiting Vilnius.
Very nice hotel.
very good hotel, polite and helpful stuff
super location in Vilnius old town
good location classy hotel helpful staff- only down side is 26euro per person per day charge if you want a sauna or swim in indoor pool after 10am
Greta location and very nice hotel
Would recommend it for a weekend and location is perfect. Very nice boutique hotel
Great location, and a lovely big suite.
Where’s the coffee?
Room was TOO small. Unbelievable, no coffee service in the room. Had to wait for breakfast at 8:00 am. Otherwise good service and great location.
Very beautiful hotel in the centre of Vilnius!
Delicious and great breakfast. Carpark behind the hotel was convenient. beautiful ambiance in the hotel lobby and good size rooms.
Great location, staff and facilities.
Glamour
Really great design hotel located in old town with rich breakfast. Would be great if staff could warn before about ongoing celebration on which there were closed all streets of old town, thus there was problematic access to hotel's parking lot (we've just drove in restricted/temporary for traffic closed areas). But at the end everything turned on luckily good and police did not spot us. Overall really pretty hotel, although some of things could be improved like outdated bath, small, so, a bit uncomfortable sink, and I would recommend a bit harder bed with non satin sheets - its impossible to make love in it (but for sleeping they are great). SPA zone - small pool but with nice warm water and two saunas, although I would recommend to turn on more heat on SPA area, because it was quite cold outside of pool, so we've made just quick swim and then left because it was cold there. As it's for free for guests till 10 AM it is ok, but if I would needed to pay full price that was 26 eur, I would be angry about it. I recommend this hotel if you are staying more than 1 night and not in a hurry - because I believe we've did not enjoyed it fully. For example, we did not visited the restaurant for dinner that I believe could be nice.
good location
central location in old town, close to all main sites, very good breakfast, didn't eat in restaurant as it was a lot more expensive than everywhere else, Staff were very good and polite and spoke good English. Do not use hotel car for airport as they are massively overpriced. The pool was only open to hotel guests at breakfast time so a bit pointless.
Nice hotel great location
Enjoyed the spa great breakfast spotless bedrooms Location was in the centre of the old town
The Best Hotel in Vilnius!
Cosy and Comfortable Hotel in Vilnius Liethuania. Loacation in Old Town is just perfect and Restaurant is really execellent! Lasse from Finland!
Long weekend break
The hotel interior with Christmas decorations was beautiful and very cosy. The room was lovely as well - can’t fault it. I will definitely be staying there again. Breakfast was ok - probably wouldn’t have it again.
Quality hotal
Close to old town, nice room. My second visit. Breakfast in basement- may need to duck your head through arches if you are tall! & yes I would stay again
Great location , etc
Perfect stay in Vilnius , great restaurant , super breakfast and spa
Good location but room condition is bad
I stayed in the Superior room but the room is nothing like the photos showed on Expedia. I am disappointed. The ventilation is not good. You can smell the washroom. I had to open the window. The tap water temperature is not stable either. The cold water pipe is kinda warm in the winter.
Perfect hotel
I was surprised for the fanciness and decoration of the room. It is located in the heart of the town and it is convenience to walk to most of the attractions.
Beautiful hotel.
Beautiful hotel. Very stylishly refurbished and decorated for Christmas. Perhaps a wider choice for breakfast and more smiles from staff would allow it that 5 star offering.
Lovely hotel in the old town of Vilnius.
I went to this lovely hotel with a group of 6 female friends. We booked 3 twin and one single room. When we arrived at the hotel we were given one single, one twin and 2 double bed rooms. We explained that we had ordered 3 twin rooms and did not wish to share a bed but no other rooms were available. Next morning 2 twin rooms became available and 2 of the party moved into one of them but the other 2 had unpacked and decided not to move. Unfortunately they were not informed that there was to be a wedding in the hotel that evening with loud music going on until 1.30 am in the morning. Their room was right above the noise and they could get no sleep. As compensation they were allowed the room for an extra 5 hours past check in on the day we were leaving. The hotel denied that the initial error with the rooms were their fault but said that Expedia had ordered the rooms wrongly.
Decent stay
The hotel was very nice and clean. Pretty room furnishings. We were somewhat disappointed by the misleading advertising though, as the hotel website stated that it had fitness equipment when in fact it did not. One of the reasons for choosing this hotel was the supposed gym. Service was ok, but not particularly prompt.
Indisputably 5 star
Beautiful hotel in the middle of beautiful Old Town Vilnius beautifully decorated and nicely staffed Fresh flowers abound in the lobby and breakfast room Very small things could be improved (orange juice should be colder, coffee warmer, turn downs should also refresh towels/wash cloths) but otherwise I could not have been happier or more impressed
Characterful Hotel in heart of Vilnius
A lovely hotel with a great deal of character and very comfortable. We had a very nice quirky room that was quite spacious. The bathroom is also a good size albeit needing some modernization but ok nevertheless. There are a number of lounges should you need to use them. You walk out right into the center so everything is close to hand. The breakfast is taken in a very old cellar that has a charm of its own and is varied and good quality. We had dinner in their restaurant one night and while good is pricey compared to others nearby. When checking in we were to,d we could have a discount on food of 10%. We had not booked and felt by not doing so this was not welcomed. The waiter almost questioned the voucher by saying it could only be used if charged to the room - so questioning we were resident. The wine waiter broke to cork in trying to get it out of the bottle. So this part of the experience could have been better.
Great small hotel with superb staff
Our room was amazing and the décor was excellent. Unfortunately the public spaces were nice but "dowdy". The staff was superb. Our GPS couldn't get us to the hotel ( watch out for this issue) so I ran in on foot and the kindly portal walked around the block and guided us to the parking. I tore a jacket and a kind woman on the staff fixed it for free! Breakfast was disappointing. It was the only place we stayed that did not cook eggs to order and where the juice was not fresh. Given this was one of the more expensive hotels we stayed at I thought they should of have provided this. It is the most convenient hotel to Old Town except for the Radisson Blu which is under renovation. Vilinus is fabulous have a good time
