Staff is nice

Really good place to stay if you are always out exploring Chiang Mai. Near a lot variety of affordable and expensive food. Near massage places, bars, shopping. Convenient for Tour pick ups. There is a 7-11 just downstairs and pharmacy next door. It doesn’t have breakfast but it is near so much food including MCD.

Staff is good and helpful. To go to the town need to take transport but not by walking distance. 711v just in downstairs of hotel, about every day must walk in to buy anything.

Nice location, walkable distance from Night Market but away from the noise. Love the 7-11 right below the hotel. Plenty of Thai massage around the neighbourhood. Down side - Rarely any options for lunch around the area.

Reception staff were very nice and spoke excellent English. Convenient location near night market and places to est.

Right off the bat, the bell boy will greet you and take your luggage. Every single time you would exit or enter the building he would be there to greet you as well. The room is clean and it’s a good size for the price. The bathroom was nice and the bed was relatively comfortable. It’s a nice location right next to the night bazaar and lots of nice restaurants in the area.

i like it. the front desk and doorman were very friendly. i would give it full score if the room can be a bit of bigger.

Needed a quick place to stay. Found this little hotel to be nice. Room small and clean. Staff very friendly. Next door to 7/11 so if you need anything it is right there. Plan to come back to this hotel on my next stay in CM.

Nap in Chiang Mai, Thailand was a near perfect htel to stay. Staff were amazing and the rooms were spacious and very clean. I was disappointed in having to cough up quite a bit extra for an extra bed in the room even though I had booked and paid and confirmed for 3 adults. This is the fault of Hotels.com booking site.

Location is very close to the night bazaar and a good walk from the old city. Didn’t really like the going out places for drinking in the surrounding area so we took a tuktuk into the city. Very clean. Staff was amazingly helpful.

Perfect location, excellent and helpful staff. My only gripe would be there arent ant tv stations in english which isnt a problem because you shouldnt be watching tv while on vacation anyway

5 night in nap in Chiang mai

The staff are excellent, help me to book taxi and are ready to help. Location is excellent, close to the night bazaar. However,i do have negative comments on the hotel itself. Firstly, there is staircase to the hotel, that caused a bit of inconvenience.I wonder why nobody mentioned in the reviews. There are mosquitoes in the room, TV channels sometimes not clear. The wooden areas beside the bed are slippery. The doors are noisy when closing. Besides,the mosquitoes bites,I have a pleasant stay with nap in Chiang mai.

Affordable hotel.. Location is very close to main street Night Bazaars, convenient as we are on top of 7 Eleven & 3 currency exchange as we are neighbors to expensive hotels... it also close to mini Big C & McDonald & Burger King & other restaurants & plus many massages, but the end of street opposite Night Bazaars was bars & filled with somewhat like hookers standing at entrance with skimpy clothes & vulgar moves.. so not too appropriate for kids... but its also here you can either go to a local foods market or the famous Sunday market... Staffs are not very good with English & often looking puzzled & I would need to rephrase in simple English, they give me a local map but didn't tell me it was not to scale as many little street weren't there & what looked like just 2 block of street, end up about half hour walk... to their local foods morning market The door man was very helpful, even though his English was limited Things i don't like is Nutty telling me to get a taxi airport for $150baht to hotel, but on the way back, they wanted to charge me $200baht, reasoning is she need to call a taxi for me but after i explained why wasn't the price difference mentioned earlier when i request for hotel pick up, as it would be the same distance to go back & they didn't ok for me to go by Grab/uber... only then the other girl would stepped in & tell me I would get the taxi back same price, but the vehicle come instantaneously & it looked like a private van & we got to the airport ok

Comfy bed & pillows

Staff were friendly, overall pleasant stay for a night, location is great.

The service was amazing. The people at the front desk and the gentlemen that welcomes us and took our bags were consistently amazing throughout our trip. Really great location. Breakfast spot across the street has good food too.

Hotel was located at a very convenient location, night markets just a stones throw away, convenience store and bike rental just downstairs. Good value for money. Comfortable beds with extra pillows. Clean room. Friendly and helpful staff. Good for when you spend a lot of time outside and come back to the hotel where a comfy bed welcomes you.

This hotel is in an excellent location, literally a minutes walk from the market and has a 7/11 underneath it which is really convenient. The rooms are modern and very clean. Additionally the staff are extremely polite and always offering to help without me prompting. One example was when they offered to look after my shopping bags whilst I went to the pharmacy to save me having to go to my room first. Furthermore when I needed a taxi they called one for me and negotiated a really low price . Lower than what I paid to go to the same place the day previous. I wish more hotels did this. I wouldn't let the small number of reviews deter you from booking this hotel. I will definitely be returning when I next visit Chiang Mai

Nice gem in chiangmai

This was a great hotel accessible to everything. It is walkable to the night bazaar, panthip, big c, many restaurants and transportation. Despite the hotel being close to many restaurants and shops, the hotel was very quiet and was perfect for a nap. The staff was also friendly. Upon walking into the facility we were greeted welcomingly. The room was clean and spacious. The Decor was modern with concrete floors and a neutral color palate. The restrooms were also clean with a waterfall shower head and a handheld shower head. Our rooms also had a fridge and a lock box. In the lobby there were complementary small snacks available along with either coffee or lemon tea. For anything we could not get from the hotel there is a convenient 7-Eleven directly downstairs. (Yes the hotel is on the second floor.) Overall this hotel did exceed expectations. We would recommend this place to our friends in the future.

Overall Satisfaction

Our 2nd accommodation at Nap Hotel wasn't as good as the 1st experienced we had. 1st, is the room had been booked online in 3 month advance - so we couldn't understand why the NAP couldn't accommodate the high level room for us per our request. Our 1st night stayed at the ground room that arranged for us was terrible... 2nd, is the bathroom showers cream was not refilled during the room makeup.

Convenience and helpful staff.Great location and comfort room.Every year i will visit chiangmai and at last i able to find my second home(hotel) in chiangmai.

Perfect Area

The location is perfect for walking around. Just around the corner from the night markets and everything. We found it to be very central to all the things we wanted to see in Chiang Mai for walking. The room set up was kind of strange with the sliding door for the sink area being the same door for closing the bathroom with toilet/shower..so you couldn't use the sink and vanity while anyone is in the restroom. Staff was great and helpful.

Nap holiday

Below the hotel is 7 eleven so no worry going hungry or thirsty. Need smoke urgently you can get it below. Turn left is night market, turn right is massage and small restaurant plus a nice veggietarian restaurant. Nice and quiet area

The location is near to almost everything - food, massage, shopping. Easy to get red taxi as well. 711 is just at the ground floor. Eventhough the hotel does not provide breakfast you can easily get your food at 711.

One key card per room

Everything was okay, location convenient to food and massage. However they only provided one key per room. This is very inconvenient for my family as whenever one person wants to leave the room to go buy things, the other one will have to either follow or stay in the room without light. For e.g. if my grandmother woke up earlier and wishes to go down for breakfast while I'm asleep she is unable to do so as once the takes the key the whole room will have no electricity. Do consider having 2 key cards per room

My experience at Nap in Chiang Mai could not have been better. During our trip we passed a few hotels and this was by far the best I have ever stayed! The staff are wonderful, friendly, always with a smile on their face, about to help you with whatever you need! I would love to have stayed longer, but we had to continue our trip! I will definitely be back when I return to Thailand. Incredible energy.

Good for long term stay

The internet was surprisingly good. I didn't have to long in every hour like other places and the speed was sufficient enough to work, stream Netflix, and surf the net for things to do.there is also a 711 in the building open 24 hours so that was great.

Fun little hotel with great location

Everything about this hotel was great except we had a shower head that didnt work. Other than that, the bed was great and the room was a useful layout. The location was easily the best part, walking distance to the night market. The front desk was helpful in getting us a taxi at 5am and helping us load and unload our bags. Worth the money

You literally Nap

Nap in Chiang Mai has a great location, by the night market, many attractions and food. The rooms are new looking and the staff is nice! The only thing is the rooms felt paper thin. Maybe it was where are room was located facing the inner elevator shaft and main floor pond. We literally napped in Nap of Chiang Mai. We heard people talking, turning on their water faucet and even heard a couple arguing in the main hallway two floors below LOL. But it's ok we did our best to focus on the good which was the nice raindrop shower and clean washroom. If your a light sleeper this place is for you or if you don't mind hear other sounds in the hotel.

Loved it. Staff were super friendly & helpful with all things & spoke great English. Room was clean & pillows were soft. Walls are a little thin though & could hear next room alarm & Tv , but it really wasn't a huge problem.

Great value, superb location

Firstly Nap is in a fantastic location. Its only 15-20mins from tge airport, within walking distance to multiple night bazaars, local night markets every night from 6pm until very late, 7/11 underneath it. There are 2 tour places next door (got better deals elsewhere) plenty of restaurants to choose from. Close to the Thai boxing ring (shows every night). We had a great check in. The guys grabbed our bags and took them to our rooms. Free wifi in each room. I was a littlt dissapointed as we needed 2 rooms and instead of giving us the ajoining 2 rooms we got 2 along side. ( not a big deal i know) but we had a room ajoining to the room next to us and each night we got noisy neighbours. Late home and early up. The noise travelled through the ajoining doorway. Taxis and tuk tuks are plenty. Do your rounds on exchange prices as we always found a better rate away from our hotel. Linen and towels were changed daily and the staff were always friendly. Tea/coffee and bottled water also provided. The hotel was clean and i enjoyes our stay here.

NAP in Chiangmai

Excellent location. Hotel staff pleasant. Ivy at reception desk dealt efficiently with any questions. Room floor needs refreshing but whole room kept very clean. Good water pressure and lighting. Appreciated there was a safe box.

Good location with emendities around, convenience

I was quite upset after checking in as the room given to me was very warm & hot due to evening sun baking it. Eventually just make do with it & luckily in the night with the aircon on was not so bad. They really have to do proper refurbish & cleaning especially the toilet which is full of spider webs & dust mold all around the wall & ventilation area. Hotel staff are friendly & helpful.

Inexpensive, great location

The staff here were polite and very helpful. My room stank like cigarette smoke and the bathroom occasionally smelled like sewage. My room also had no natural light, which I found objectionable. The location of this hotel can't be beat, and for the price it's a great value.

Clean hotel

Service was cheerful and helpful. Room was adequate and clean. King bed comfortable, No frills, minimum furnishings. King bed. Described as a "superior room" but that's a stretch. Booking this hotel was actually a mistake. I was trying to book a different superior hotel and somehow ended up with this one, at about the same price. Fortunately it was just across the street, and was adequate for my needs if minimalist.

A new hotel

It was only a one night stay. What I like - staff were courteous and provided good service. They were helpful in arranging our taxi to airport. What I didn't like was that the king size mattress is not on a proper bed but laid on an elevated platform that covers the entire breadth of the room from wall to wall. As there is no place to put our luggage but the space between the wall and the end of mattress, this actually impede the movement to move up into the inner section of the mattress challenging.

Good Value in Chiang Mai

My fiancé and I travelled to Chiang Mai for 3 days. Nap In Chiang Mai Hotel was a cost-effective choice. The room was clean, adequate size, and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom (shower only) was clean and good sized. The room was quiet at night (no noise). The hotel is very conveniently located for the Night Market. If you are looking for a good "value" and don't need extra luxuries - Nap in Chiang Mai is a good choice.

Gem in main bar area of Chiang Mia

Loved my stay here. Four cities, four hotels in 11 days and this was the coolest and one I loved most. Comfortable bed, polished concrete, slick design , yip, I'm a fan.

Good location. 7/11 downstairs, one minute to night market, 15 min to old city, 5 min to Super Rich Exchange. Room mattress is comfortable, has hair blow dryer, hot water kettle, 2 bottle of complementary water, Good value for the money.

Stayed in Nap In for three nights in May 2016. Hotel whilst very clean and at the centre of things night market, cooking class there was not a whole more to do. Hotel did not have a restaurant but there was plenty of places to eat nearby. No leisure facilities which was a shame.Chiangmai did not do a lot for me.

Great hotel- have a good room

At first we got put in a room on the bottom floor across from the service closet. We were woken up very early every morning from the hotel staff just doing their jobs, but very loud. This room should not be a room unless they give it better insulation. We asked to be moved and our room upstairs was much better. Other than that the hotel staff was very nice and helpful in moving our room and helping us set up a cooking class that we really enjoyed. Great area to be staying for access to most of Chiangmai.

Best Budget Hotel

Being a flash-packer, this place has outlet that accepts US adapter, bottled water/coffe/tea replenished daily, kettle, fridge, safe, bedroom slippers and bath essentials. Very conveniently located, with 7 eleven downstairs that has good mircowave meal from US $1 should you get hungry middle of the night. Tuk-tuk to Tiger Kingdom for 100 baht per person (round-trip). 5-15 minutes walk to Fah Lanna Massage in Night Bazaar. 15 minutes walk to Tha Phae Gate. 15 minutes walk to Warorot Market. Taxi to airport at 3.30 am was 400 baht.
