My girlfriend and i stayed here and we was very disappointed. We immediately noticed the air-conditioning was bad and the toilet wasn't flushing (no water connected) we told the room and they fixed the toilet but said the air-conditioning needs time to work.. i know very well thats not the case but waited anyway, after being told 9 times to wait 15 minutes i complained (had people in and out the room when we just wanted to relax and take a cold shower and enjoy the cool air) they finally change our room to another but that room had a lot of damage in it. I feel i should have not paid for this stay it was horrible. Also for some smart reasons they're growing rice outside the rooms and near the pond/bar restaurant. This brought a massive amount of mosquitoes in the rooms and around the area, you couldn't sit outside and enjoy the seating area. If you like quiet i would avoid it has a tahi kickboxing stadium on its grounds behold half of the rooms. Lucky it was notnin use on a Sunday so we didn't hear anything but its so close you wouldn't get any peace and quiet. The staff was very rude and very unhelpful. They upset my girlfriend too (she is thai, and they was rude to her a few times when trying to resolve the room issue) avoid this place and its bad staff
Wonderful location in heart of Patong. Very calm and clean and relaxing place. Highly recommend. The rooms are clean daily and staff is helpful and friendly.
It is a hotel that has clever angled photos. The reality is not as good as the photos suggest. The hotel is situated far from the beach and the pool is on the edge of a busy parking lot with urban hovels surrounding the property. The rice paddy photos are seasonal. Out of season the property just has mud pits in front of the rooms and throughout the site.
Great location, great stay!
Loved it here! Just under 2 weeks, had a deluxe pool view room, but bathroom was very dark so couldn’t see in the wardrobe... Perfect location for everything (if you do the trips normally you’ll get picked up last and dropped home first) The Thai Boxing Stadium is on site and provided 1-1 Muay Thai training lessons and watch the fighting (do the VIP seating) Pool was clean and always nice temperature, the breakfast was standard and open early so you could eat before any trips! Would definitely recommend!
This property was inexpensive to stay at but I found it to be fine. The boxing gym next door had fight nights on and there wasn't any noise and we were in the part of the hotel directly next door. The only problem was that the air con leaked but after the first night we put the garbage under it to catch the water and then all was ok it only leaked for a short amount of time once each night. We didn't go to breakfast, but happy hour was good. Staff are very friendly. It is about a 15 min easy walk to Juncelyon Bangala Road and the Beach. Would definitely stay there again.
Noisy room
To much noise from the air condition. We could not sleep
Nice hotel, communication difficult
Hard to communicate with majority of the staff made simple requests difficult Room was nice, pool only shallow
This was a lovely spacious hotel room; it had everything you could possibly need in the room, even umbrellas. We also had a microwave, which was a good addition, my partner and I loved that we were able to warm up our food. On our arrival we did notice some mosquitos. Location was great if you liked Muay Thai, because the boxing ring was literally on the doorstep of the hotel. The hotel was in a great area in terms of shops and street food. The walk to Bangalore road/main shops etc. was a 15-20 minute walk. The only complaint we had was the shower and water in the bathroom not working, a few times we went to have a shower and no water coming out, and when it did it came out it was cold and very slow (no power), we then tested the taps and shower and the same thing happened. We called reception and they sent a repair/maintenance man, not quite sure if we should call him a maintenance man, because he switched the tap on and off and said it was working and left, no water pressure was checked or an attempt to try and fix it. The swimming pool facilities were great and snacks were available to purchase. We did find the deposit fee to be quite expensive compared to other hotels we stayed at in Thailand.
Wont recommnend
The first day we arrived there was no one to help with bags. No lifts and if you are above average in height goodluck with the shower. Breakfast on the first day was shocking had to call the manager and ask if she would be happy if she was eating there. 2 people helping 1 was making omlettes for 10 people. The food buffet was empty and only after complaining did they fill it up. The 2nd day was better but maybe cause we were there at 7am
The guy that transported us to patong beach was very rude. Not being helpful at all. Our room smell musty, not clean. Lighting was bad. Need more lighting in room and a mirror at the table.
We got what we paid for
The resort appeared beautiful from the outside with a stunning pool but I was shocked with the quality of the rooms. We arrived late and slept on the most uncomfortable hard bed. There were also loud carts that passed by our patio all night. We requested to switch rooms the next day. At the front desk we explained the noisy night we had and the two ladies were just talking amongst themselves. I said “hello can you please listen to us”. It was very disrespectful. We got to our new room & the bed was comfier. We were told housekeeping would fix the bed. However, I was shocked that both rooms had no soap to wash our hands with. We had to use the shower gel they provided. We also thought it was odd how we went to the front desk to ask for water and they couldn’t just charge it to the room. They walked with us back up to the room to make sure we would pay.
Zen living experience
Room was great, a little bit older but still really nice and spacious. It was nice to have robes and slippers, as well as beach towels and a beach bag. The place is very beautiful. There is also a free shuttle to Patong beach which was great!
Not professional
Not a bad place to stay, clean room, staff at front desk is overwhelmed by so many guests, we we’re suppose to have breakfast buffet when we checked in but the next day we we’re told that it wasn’t included., we had to argue with front desk for about 40 minutes & they finally told us to go ahead go and eat for that day, then Hotels.com told me later after so many messages back & forth with hotel staff that our stay did not include breakfast..but when we checked in they said it was included so did my paperwork. Muay Thai gym is right next door so got a workout in but after bitter experience with hotel hotel staff being unprofessional I wouldn’t be staying at this place again.
Took a long to to check in as, there was a few customers arguing about being over charged. Also any extra services I.E taxis where double the price then outside the hotel resort
Warm stay
It’s a very nice hotel comparing with highly attractable price. It’s very quiet, clean and comfortable resort. They provide very good massage too! New staffs in front desk should be trained better.
Nice little hotel in Patong
Great facilities ok location and great staffs
Rooms were big, clean and modern. Quiet area however just steps away from many different restaurants.
Perfect hotel near town
Was not far from patong Phuket town, lovely hotel restaurant and room , highly recommended x thanks
Staff didnt speak much english. Tried to charge for glass which room service took out and didnt bring back saying we broke it. Charged me for a towel as some hair dye from my hair had got on it. (Washable) happens at home. I dont buy new towels each time i dye my hair.
Lovely hotel and excellent reception staff especially Nut and Ni Ny very helpful! Highly recommend a visit to the Spa I have had many spa treatments in the past and nothing comes near to the treatments provided by Khae, lovely lady and very professional a Spa visit is a must if your staying here!
Amazing hotel with few disappointing aspects
The hotel staff were lovely but depending who was on the front desk some spoke little to no English and we found it difficult to communicate with them sometimes. The restaurant was outstanding and the staff really went above and beyond and the surrounding views were breathtaking. The Spa was possibly the best part of the hotel and the staff in there are very professional and generally lovely people, we had a foot scrub, full body scrub and aromatherapy massage. All were very relaxing and we left feeling rejuvenated. The room facilities were great, the beds were really comfy, beach towels, dressing gowns, and flip flops provided. Unfortunately they didn't replace the toilet paper very often. Rooms were cleaned daily to a great standard. The Wifi was an issue, only one device per room allowed to connect at one time with the room username and password given which wasn't useful when there are two people sharing a room. Despite the few disappointing aspects the hotel overall was good and would stay again.
Worst stay I’ve ever had. Do not go here!
Original room, AC broken, told staff, hours later and nothing done. Bathroom smelt like a sewer. 40minutes of different staff coming in and out to look at problems, insisted we stay in this room despite the smell. Eventually moved rooms but they were not happy about it. In the new room the shower was broken, either no hot water or it would be boiling and very dangerous! Bar man offers food when around pool, tried to overcharge us for this and stated price on menu was not updated despite us refusing to pay they said staff would have this taken from their wages which made us feel very guilty and uncomfortable even though it was not our fault and pretty sure it was just a scam for extra money! After this every staff member completely ignored us for the rest of our stay. Staff also used our patio area as their social area, sitting talking at all hours despite us clearly being in the room! Construction going on everywhere. Checked out 3 days early. Whole place is run down, tatty and the surrounding area is filthy with rats everywhere.
Quite, friendly place with a great pool
We absolutely loved this place! The location was nice because it was away from the party scene. It had a great pool and and the staff was wonderful. They were very helpful when booking tours and giving us information. This place is right next to a MuayThai boxing stadium and saw some great fights there. I would defiantly stay there again if I were traveling in this are.
The resort is designed in country side style with rice fields in front of the terrace style rooms. So be prepared to hear sometimes the sound of nature (frogs) in the evening. The rooms are kind of bungalow style with terrace glass door entry. Our room looked a bit dark but ok. I am very sensitive to the hardness of the bed because of back pain and found the bed is typical Asian style (very firm). Asked at reception even after10pm to make the bed more soft, a staff came only a few minutes later and added some covers under the sheets and also the next day they added more. Was still not perfect for me but acceptable. English language skills at reception could improve. Got charged for an extra person to be with me in my room, which I find very unusual as I book the room and not as in Europe book and pay per person. During the booking process at Orbitz there is no way to change that unless you book also flights for 2 people - that was a turn off. All in all - since it was after season it was very quiet and the stay was ok for this price class
Lovely hotel with a great bar and pool and in a great location! Room was very nice, and available to check in even though we were a couple of hours early! The spa was beautiful and we both enjoyed a massage there. Only two small niggles - the WiFi signal was quite poor and couldn’t have two of us using it at the same time; toilet roll wasn’t replaced when the room was cleaned for the 3 nights we were there and we ended up buying our own. Overall, a really lovely hotel, I would recommend to anyone!
Good resort for the price
Room was good for the price paid per night. Pool was great, The buffet breakfast supplied was fantastic, The main problem for us was they were bit light on toilet paper each day for us westerners that choose not to use a hose.
Everythings is perfect
Excellent!
Grand deluxe room was excellent! Would not stay anywhere else. Staff were amazing and so helpful. Looking forward to returning next February. Thanks Naina.
Doesnt worth the price
The location is good if you want to experience thai boxing (gym and stadium next door). The hotel gives on a car park not a rice plantation. The pool is nice and quite big. I previously booked standard bedroom and it seems I was upgraded without being tol which was nice. The staff told me the managment changed and I actually experienced the standard bedroom. The room is ok, the bathroom tiny and quite smelly. The hotel is extremely noisy, I was waken up every morning at 7 by either people walking, staff having conversation, etc... For the same price I think you can definitely have better in Patong
Overall, it is a nice hotel but breakfast can be improved.
Don't stay here
Arrived at hotel after choosing from the photo of stunning pool and Thai hotel building, got there and found it nothing like the photo, complained to management, was promised a refund and still waiting after 3 weeks, booked another hotel and left without staying at the hotel. Don't stay here
peaceful in the middle of patong craziness
for the price we paid the hotel was very nice and the pool was amazing ..the staff were always friendly and accommodating and the bed was the biggest we have ever seen for a standard room ...overall it was quiet and very peaceful
good place
very good we were taken good care of which made us to prolong our stay for another three days
I enjoyed my stay but if you want to be near the action of Patong consider elswhere.I would recomend for children
Must stay!
When we arrived they told us we had been upgraded. Our room was right beside the pool, and the room was very nice. Nice big bathtub separate from the shower. About 12 minute walk from the beach.
Beautiful hidden hotel
Amazing buildings and rooms, gorgeous pool and bar area. The only down fall was the restaurant across the road it was over priced and the food was quite average. Some staff spoke limited English but overall we were able to get what we were after in the end. Lovely cocktails by the pool! Short 15min walk to beach very easy to get to, but the hotel it's self is quiet and peaceful tucked around the corner off the main road. I would definitely go back!
No service
Stayed at naina for 10 nights staff were non exsistent most times had to wait at least 20 mins at bar if wanted a beer. Woken most mornings with people coming in at 3 or 4 am slamming doors yelling pool is pretty average waist high at deepest end warm as. There are much better options out there.
Nice bedroom and good value for money
I booked the cheapest bedroom in this hotel and I have to say I was happily surprised. The bedroom is big and the deco is nice, with flat screen on the wall. The bathroom is so so but acceptable. Staff are friendly. The swimming pool is quite big but it is on the side of the huge carpark. For the location, it depends what people need and want. The hotel is a little bit far from the beach by walking distance but still ok. It is very convenient for people that want to go to the boxing gym next door. Overall the hotel is nice, not fanstastic. But the quality for the value is quite good. For that price there is nothing to complain about. Small point: the wifi was not detected in the bedroom
Very quiet and peaceful but in the heart of town
Had to change room, aircon sounded like a washing machine running , 2nd room good but a smaller and not so nice room. Apart from a dodgy aircon unit everything else was very good , staff extremely helpful
A diamond in the rough
We had a really nice stay. Ecstatic about our room upgrade as well. Highly recomended
HAPPY WITH HOTEL
IF YOU ARE EXPECTING A TOP NOTCH FANCY HOTEL, THEN THIS HOTEL IS NOT FOR YOU. BUT IF YOU WANT A CHEAP AND GOOD HOTEL, THEN THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU.
Bad location, room was nothing like the photos
There is nothing nice to say about the room we had.
Nice hotel. Quiet. Very clean
Had a great time. Met really nice people. The resort was nice. Quiet location. All the staff were nice. Except reception staff could be friendlier.
Nice hotel but not 10 min frome the beach :)
They are very nice people to bad they can't speak English , food is always spicy even if that's say is not :)
Nice hotel
Hotel is very close to everything i would definitely go back.
Great location, dodgy staff!
Location, pool, breakfast and roon were great. However our kettle blew, we were evacuated for 2 hours and then they tried to charge us for the kettle! Our air conditioner kept leaking. Our key opened our neighbors door. So if you care about your valuables and money, look elsewhere! But dodgy.
Its close to beach but still quite a long walk.
Rooms booked were not ready even by 3pm. Waited over an hour till 4pm and many others were waiting too, When we finally got our rooms, it wasnt what we had stated as 1 single king size bed but 2 separate beds. Both rooms we booked were wrong on this. We didnt went back to request a change as the staffs are pretty rude, so, no point offending them, Other than that everything is quite normal and fair. Oh, the entrance to the hotel is pretty much hidden and if you drive as we did, make sure you drive slowly just before the entrance or you will definitely miss it as we did for the first few times.
Quiet and pleasant.
This was an Hotel on a budget but was better than my experience of previous budget hotels. Any hiccup was dealt with courteously and quickly. My 2 gripes are that my internet would go off overnight from between 11PM and 1AM and not be available until 8AM the next morning when the maintenance staff started work, something that I have experienced on previous trips to Thailand, and that there was little choice of English for included breakfast, but one must remember that this is a resting place for people of many nationalities. On the whole I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay of 20 days and is well set back off the road so no traffic noises.
Possibly the best customer service I have ever had
This hotel was a home away from home for my partner & I during our 6 night stay in Phuket. I cannot begin to describe the ways the staff went above and beyond to look after us, from booking our tours, taxis, looking after our luggages, cleaning our room daily (& spotless as well), and not to mention room upgrades! All staff members were lovely, from reception to cleaners to service members to restaurant staff. Although it was around a 15 min walk to Patong Beach / Bangla Rd, it was well worth it to have a resort escape.
Beautiful pool, great location and friendly staff!
I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The room was very standard but big enough. The pool is beautiful and massive. The buffet breakfast was excellent, the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere inside and out. The staff were friendly and easy to understand. The hotel is in a great location, it's right next door to boxing. It is only a 10 min walk to the beach and 5 min walk to shops and restaurants. I would definitely visit again, it's great value for money.
Expedia quests will question this?
After reading the reviews of some Expedia guests of naina I quickly realized the naina resort gives the same rooms to Expedia guests each time and yeah they are the ones that you would be asking yourself whether it was better value using Expedia unless you luck an upgrade. We didn't unfortunately even though we asked. If you are a guest and get given room 535 it's the room that many Expedia quests have commented on that the water doesn't clear from the sink and the WiFi doesn't work. It's a room I think is reserved for Expedia bookings. If you look at the deal we got then it worked out roughly sixty a night for five nights. Now I don't know where the savings were in that because if you walked in off the street like I observed some do then it's thirty a night per person. Well that's what we paid supposedly with special member privileges. I really liked the staff though that helped me a lot get some messages scanned and emailed which took some doing given the Internet was variable and sometimes non existent. It's budget and felt like a back packer feel with limited attention to comforts. If you sleep on the floor then you will appreciate the beds. Very hard. I enjoyed the holiday from the location as just down the road the motor bike taxi would take you straight down to the beach strip and coming home late you didn't have to be quiet as Noone else was. Very noisy corridors when people passed through them or vocalise in their many forms. It's not a place to meditate in. :)

Stayed for two nights, Patong is Party central so not all the rooms are designed for comfort.. happy to have seen Patong though.
A rustic hotel with rooms for improvement
Was greeted with a not so friendly front office staff. The deluxe rooms were big enough to add in an extra bed. Toilet sink stuck twice but the housekeeping were able to fix it. Swimming pool not too big with limited sun beds. Guests have the habit of hoarding the sun beds before they go for breakfast. So very tough luck to get one for your own sun bathing. Anyway the water in the pool was not very clean as it appeared cloudy underwater. Don't expect too much from the miserable breakfast every morning. Was not looking forward to it. To improve guests satisfaction and experience, the hotel should have the simplest staples such as bacon, ham, hotdogs, bake beans and hash browns. Sadly it did not have that. The only saving grace was the eggs station and that's that. We were too happy to eat out, especially at night walking towards the police station right before an alley, a fantastic local store named Nongkhun Seafood. Inexpensive and true to thai flavour! It's a rustic 8 nights experience in Naina and we should not be staYing again.
I would give it 10 out of 10, it is that good. However, there were two minor issues we faced - the WIFI doesn't work sometimes (10% of the total time), and the hotel staff is very weak in English. That said - it is one of the best resorts in terms of facility in the Patong area. Awesomely designed and decorated. Very reasonable priced. Highly recommended.
Excellent stay at Naina Resort and spa
it was very nice stay there it deserves to be a 5 star resort not just 3 it help you so much for relaxing
Regret staying here
I felt like I was cheated for the air shuttle as the site said there's shuttle service. It is not to the airport. Beds were uncomfortable. There was a giant big in the room (like hockey puck sized)
Good hotel in good location
My daughter and I spent 6 nights at Naina Resort and Spa nice stay rooms are good for the price, location ok you can walk to beach or town 15 minutes or catch Tuk Tuk at end of street. Friendly hotel staff. All in all a good stay.
Convenient and clean hotel for a reasonable price
Nice and clean at a walking distance from the beach, restaurants, shopping area.
Great value quiet hotel
Great Hotel, restaurant and pool. Will stay here again for sure
Overall terrible, especially the hotel facilities.
Overall terrible, especially the hotel facilities. Aircon not cold, water very slow and the drain was choked.
Uncomfortable
The bed was rock hard and for those regular travelers to Thailand won't find this new. That said most hotels will provide an extra layer between you and the bed when asked. Not in this case. Despite several requests and several Assurances no extra layer. That Said room was clean. Air on worked well. I'd also advise not hiring a bike from the hotel as the one I was given was a death trap. No oil in the front forks so every bump bottomed out. This caused flat tyres which when traveling even at low speed almost killed me. I question it with the hotel and I had to pay for the tyre and they refused to change the bike. Not happy
Great Hotel, short walk to the beach
I was very pleased with my stay at Naina. The Rooms were perfect and the hotel had excellent facilities. We arrived early for check-in, expecting to leave our bags at the desk and come back later. But instead the desk clerk upgraded us to deluxe rooms. The breakfast was excellent as well. I would definitely stay again.
We had 6 rooms booked for a group, 2 of the rooms had no hot water for two days, Complained about it, then asked for room changes. Staff lovely and can not do enough for guests, but the language barrier between staff and guests (no only us but other guests from other countries) is hard, as the staff find it hard to understand English or any other language other then Thai. The rooms are clean and are great for the price. We would stay again.
Not the best.
Rooms okay; surrounding not the best; staff not that great; spa excellent; staff at spa is the best.
Great room, great hotel, great location. Very clean, nice staff, beautiful property
Beautiful setting, 15 min walk to beach.
Great food, friendly service, beautiful clean room...really not sure what the negative reviews are about. We spent 3 days here and honestly my only complaint is that the shower takes a while to drain.
Horrible plain n simple don't stay
Booked well in advance we arrived they looked completely unaware and questioned me on my name of booking when paperwork was given to them. No one speak the English. It's just a concrete road with a pool and rooms off in each direction. Noisy and to be called a resort is a joke. Pictures tell lies. Stay away it's horrible and very unprofessional. Paid for 4 nights left no refund after 1 sleepless night didn't care about money just got away.
Nice and quite.
The staff were not friendly at all. I stayed for 12 days and not once did they say hello or good morning. The just completely ignored me. The was no information in the room about the hotel, facilities or anything. I found out by a tour guide that came and picked me up that my hotel had a shuttle that took you into town or the beach but was never mentioned. I accidently dropped a coffee cup and was presented with it at the end of my stay in a plastic bag and they said I had to pay for it. I said " you have to be jokingly" and they said if I didn't pay for it they were going to call the police.
Lady at the front office was not very helpful. Charged me for a full day when i specifically said i wanted to extend the hours ( late check out ). She was not clear about anything
Nice hotel with great pool
Our stay was good overall! The wifi wasn't working in our room the first 2 days and when we asked to change rooms the staff didn't understand. But the wifi worked eventually! So the staff don't speak great English. It was quite noisy most nights. The pool was great and we swam Everyday it's not in a totally private area though but still enjoyed our stay and for the price hard to complain. The restaurent was yummy but a bit more expensive than other places close by. There's a man who sells great ice coffee from a cart just as you enter the hotel grounds pay him a visit.
miles from main area.
unfriendly long way and worse of all extra charges (huge) that were not mentioned before!!
Long way from beach and night life
If you book a double room it is without saying that it is for 2 people, however if you check in alone with intention of having a guest to stay then you have to pay THB 1000 per guest, this is not explained at point of booking and you are presented with a document that you have to sign at check in.If I had known this then I would have booked somewhere else. Breakfast is extra!... The Hotel is a long way from the beach(25 minutes walk) and about 20 minutes from Bangala road(night life) you can get a tuk tuk ..300 THB or a motorbike taxi 200THB. If you are put in the old part of the hotel then the corridors echo everything at night and it can be quite loud with people coming and going slamming doors, shouting etc. On the whole not a great experience!.
Fabulous resort and pool, loved staying here.
Hotel was fabulous, i had upgrade to deluxe suite with the padi rice outside, was so peaceful and quiet, room was amazing, so comfortable, huge beds, loved the finding of umbrellas and beach bag in the wardrobe, nice surprise! Pool was lovely, nice and relaxing, never too busy and a big pkus you can use it day and night wirhout a problem. The little security man is lovely he will go find you a tuk tuk if you need one, nithing is too much trouble.
Perfect location for me
This hotel more than met my expectations - location was perfect for me as my family live just around the corner. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Bangla (but within easy walking distance for a person with average fitness. Would stay again.
Good
I like it
Very good hotel !! Price very good
Good location and service, walking distance from Patong beach. Friendly and helpful staff with reasonable facilities, air conditioning in rooms is a must. Close to Thai boxing stadium. would definitely stay here again
Great location. cement bed. beautiful resort.
Pros: waking up in the morning for a hearty breakfast, organise tours through hotel staff, great location, had a pool, next to boxing arena Cons: cement bed, bad wifi connection, no shower curtain (bathroom and toilet got very wet)
Nice hotel, helpful staff, clean,3*+
Nice hotel, and very helpful staff, polite. The pool was clean but did not know how or when was cleaned since one can swim at night any time. It was quiet and if you leave the room before 2pm with sign on for cleaning beds and towels got changed every day. Better than other 3* in Thailand. The location was not great about 15" from beach and Bangla Road. not a nice walk, streets busy no pavement, bit smelly. The minus point was the bathroom/ wet room shower almost over the toilet. However lots of nice points, bag with pool/beach towels changed every day, hairdryer, coffee making facilities in room and everyday supply of bottled water in the fridge coffee sugar and toiletries. That was brilliant. never got that in a 3*. The 24h reception /security did not mind if you spend time with friends in the huge open air reception with own drinks. Balcony was a bonus.Overall EXCELLENT value for money. for extra comfort book a deluxe room(lovely). Breakfast was OK too. would go there again and recommend it to anyone on a budget.
You get what you pay for
Hotel was what you expect for a 3 star resort, dont let the pictures of the rooms fool you as they dont say what rooms they are. We stayed in the Delux Rooms, which were located on the 2nd and 3rd floors, go for the higher priced rooms as they are what you see in the pictures. Rooms are cleaned daily which is nice but they need to change the sheets more often, for my 9 night stay the sheets were changed once. Towels are very old and ragged, although thick and soft the edges are all frayed and still display the dolphin emblem which i assume this hotel was called beforehand. Dont bother with the restaurant for dinner we ate there once, were the only guests in the restaurant and it took 2 hours for all of us to get our meals. Cleaning staff are friendly and smiling, some managerial staff could learn from them.
Could've been good
Overall this is a nice Hotel , good location walking distance (10-15 min) from beach. the rooms are ok,
Unpleasant stay
The bed and pillows are very hard, and we were unable to get any significant sleep. The bathroom was very small and impractical with the shower spraying all over the bathroom and no shower curtains. The staff were not very welcoming, not helpful and one particular girl had a poor attitude. The breakfast was ok. The hotel was a far walk to the beach but in a more quiet area. The room was also extremely hot and the ac was only on when the key was in the room, not allowing the room to ever get to a cool comfortable temperature. The grounds needed some attention and the wood boards were eneven and very dangerous.
Pleasent stay
We had originally booked to stay only 9 nights but we extended by a week as we had such a nice holiday. Nice hotel and pool area. Breakfast was adequate enough but I've had better. I would definitely recommend this hotel but only if you have a scooter as the beach is about a 20 minute walk away.
showers need improvement
Awful bathroom and shower, very noisy, thin walls
Pretty good new hotel
Fantastic, the rooms were great and new , wifi problem a little bit use the one that ends with "6" when u r there. Restaurants food average.
accommodation for our holiday
unfortunately our room was not what we thought we had booked re: Internet site. so we changed rooms the next day and paid extra money. bed and pillows was extremely uncomfortable (bed was hard as a rock). staff at reception did not speak a lot of English, not the friendliest of staff. seemed like the resort caters alot to the chinese tourists (who were very rude), especially at breakfast. for Australians the food was very basic, and staff were very slow and not very helpful.
Great value for Money
Pleased
Great but need some changes.
It was perfect. But need some activities in hotel.there should be swimming pool, gym in a hotel.it should be provided in hotel. Indoor activities because sometimes people does not want to go for trip due to tiredness, bored.so, it is must.
Amazing Stay
I was after something cheap and cheerful and within 15 minutes of both the beach and the main nightlife. So I did my search and this place popped up at a cheap price, so only really needing a bed and a shower I booked it. Well when I arrived I was met at the 24 reception by two very helpful staff who showed me to a nice and clean room with a big comfy king size bed. I will definitely be booking here again next time I come in May.
Hard to find but it's worth it
Very nice hotel. It seems they are still improving amenities. We had a pleasant stay.
Great stay
The hotel is is conveniently located within walking distance from Patong Beach and right next to the Patong Boxing stadium. The room was very comfortable with A/C and comes with a huge Samsung TV with 50+ channels. The staff is very friendly, the girl with curly hair named ADD at the front desk is a cutie-pie. Stores, restaurants, street food is located just outside the hotel complex. Will be back next year.
Good hotel
Good and cheap hotel but little bit far away from everything e.g beach = 15-20 min walk. The staff was very friendly though their English was limited. the room was cleaned almost every day (i had a deluxe room). Overall i enjoyed my stay there. Would definitely stay once more
Cheap and decent hotel away from Patong Beach
We recently stay 5 nights in the Dolphin Hotel for our Christmas holiday in Phuket. The hotel is about 30 minutes walk away from the Patong Beach or Junceylon mall. So it is away from the madness that is Patong beach which is good if would like a good night's sleep. For the price we paid it is a good budget hotel, not too far from where the action/dining is. There is also a local boxing stadium next door where there are matches every Monday and Thursday night. Overall, this is a great hotel choice for people who are budget conscious and/or would like to be a bit away from the beach/stay in a less touristy area.
Property needs an update, nothing compared to the photos. Nothing works!! Definately not what i expected from the photos very disappointed.
