Property was very clean, staff were friendly, close to numerous restaurants, tram lines a few minutes walk, Blue Mosque very close, freshly cooked omelette in the morning. On the 2 nd morning they ran out of almost everything and hour before breakfast finished and that was it, no more food.

Great location (walkable) for local tourist spots. Hotel management was very friendly and responded quick to requests. Excellent breakfast. Room was also in good condition and included all amenities as described. Overall we had a great experience.

Perfect location. Close to everything in a walking distance. The only negative I have is the breakfast. Not much variety for North American’s. They have lots of cake, cookies and olives to eat. We struggled to find anything to tie us over until lunch. Settled on pancakes most days. Staff were great.

The hotel was great. The staff was wonderful. Very helpful and kind. The breakfast was really good as well. The hotel is located in a great location. Walkable to the blue mosque and Hagia sofia. And a 5 minute walk to the train station. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the Muyan Suites for 4 days Jan 2025. The room was clean and spacious (had a suite with 2 rooms). Bathroom was upgraded and had everything we needed. Free breakfast with a beautiful view of the harbor and a small mosque right in front of the hotel was a nice bonus. Location of the Muyan Suites was fantastic. It was close to all the main sightseeing places in Sultanate as such Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, the Topkapi Museum, etc. Having a few supermarkets, restaurants and train station close by was very convenient. Hotel service was great. They made sure we had everything we asked for. They even prepared breakfast sandwiches for our early departure. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Another fabulous stay at Muyan Suites

It was another great stay at Muyan suites. It is ideally located in such a way that u r within 5 to 7 minutes walk to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and Grand bazaar with tons of shops and eating option along the way. Customer Service at the hotel is great, extremely helpful staff with amazing breakfast! All in all a great stay.

Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good. Very convenient location. Walkable to Hagia Sophia and blue mosque. Our suite was very comfortable.

I had a wonderful stay at Muyan Suites. Their check in/check out was super smooth, my bags were immediately taken to my room. My stay included breakfast and a wonderful view. It was great having tea, a sampler of baked goods and a hearty omelette everyday. What I liked most is the personalised service Muyan suites provided. I was always greeted with a smile from whoever was at the front desk. The day I checked out I had requested them to store my luggage as my flight was much later, and while I waited for my airport shuttle I was offered tea/coffee. It’s the little things that matter. I will not hesitate to come back. Also, the location is truly ideal to all the tourist spots like Blue mosque, Hagia Sophia and grand bazaar.

We really liked this small, family style hotel. The staff was so kind and helpful, and even offered to make us breakfast sandwiches since our flight was too early for breakfast service. The bed was comfortable, and the view from the top floor is beautiful. Highly recommend.

Great tiny hotel

Very nice, very comfortable little hotel in the perfect location. Just a few minutes walk to all of the major sites in Istanbul. Nice breakfast on the top floor with a view of the water. Excellent service.

Overall, it was a great stay. Hotel staff and ownership is very personable and helpful. Location of hotel is fabulous and most sites in short walking distance. Breakfast, which is included, is quite good and even though they say it is continental, you can get eggs and omelets upon request. Owners are visible and engaged and very friendly and helpful. When we return to Istanbul, we will stay at Muyan again. Thank you for a great stay.

Family trip

It was a very good hotel, excellent service, everyone was friendly and helpful. I will absolutely return and recommend the hotel.

The property was in a great location. Witnessed some street repairs which was good. Good view of the harbour. Everything within walking distance as long as you are reasonably fit. Owner and staff very friendly. Good choice of breakfast. One suggestion would be to reduce sizes of margarine and marmalade tubs to avoid waste.

Great Service, comfort and location

Great owner, staff, location and rooms set up. The staff was perhaps most friendly and helpful out of all I have encountered in Turkey. The owner makes sure to engage with guests at breakfast each day. I made a few suggestions and unlike how many others act i.e. become defensive, the owner was very receptive and said he will look into those. He appreciated feedback. Before going I was thinking the hotel is very expensive, but the comfort and service we got, has convinced me to chose this hotel when we visit Istanbul again. I want to again emphasize on the fact that the staff members of all departments are extremely friendly. I have stayed in many hotels in Istanbul and generally Turkey and staff or none of those matches Muyan Suites. Only one suggestion that I forgot to pass in person is to have options of different lights in bedrooms. There should be dimmers as well.

Brilliant staff members who are always willing to go out their way to help customers. Breakfast variety is good and breakfast is delicious. The hotel is at a short distance to the attractions in Sultanahmet, it usually takes 5 minutes to walk. There are good restaurants surrounding the hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious.

We had the best time ever on this trip while staying at muyan suites. The owner Haci was always present at breakfast and always made us feel welcome. The staff were super nice. Humza, yahya, umair and all the rest of the staff have been so great helpful and kind. We had everything we needed whene ver we requested anything. Breakfast was superb and fresh. We would highly recommend muyan suites to friends and family. We wish them all the success tor the future. If we were to visit istabul again we would most certainly stay at muyan suutes.

The property owner was present daily to address our needs, being presnt at the daily breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful with navigating the local area, giving suggestions and mapping locations to travel too.They were also helpful in dealing with the local transportation hurdles.

Muyan is an excellent place to stay. It’s clean, staffs are very friendly and the free breakfast with a view is an added bonus. Our room is clean and spacious. We felt safe walking around the area even at night. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend to friends.

I really enjoyed my time at this hotel. Staff were friendly, the owner was present each day at breakfast and offered to help with anything if needed. Breakfast was decent, it didn’t have a 5* spread but it was good. I don’t have any complaints with the taste or quality. Rooms were well kept and generally in good and clean condition. Staff refilled water each day which I always appreciate. Reception staff were also helpful and quick to resolve issues. Where this place really shines is the location, it’s a stones throw away from the Sultanahmet mosques and public transportation making getting around very easy. I also felt safe enough to walk around the local area after dark. There are also very good eating options nearby. I would come back to this place if I ever had the chance. The only qualm I had was the sometimes other guests would be a bit noisy, either a loud TV, people talking loudly or doors closing. This isn’t really the fault of staff, but I think it’s a sign of the building style (it’s a bit on the smaller side compared to purpose built hotels). All in all, no regrets. Would come back and would recommend!

Yahya at the reception was wonderful - very kind and accommodating. Equally, the owner of the hotel was lovely too. Perfect to stay for short walks to the Blue Mosque / Aya Sofya, Grand Bazaar and metro station is less than 5 minutes walk away. Plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel itself is cosy and welcoming and has all the basic facilities needed for a short stay and the breakfast was great. Lots of fresh options. Great overall.

I just came back from a 6 night stay here. Cannot recommend this place enough, the staff are very friendly and helpful..nothing is ever too much of a problem for them. The owner was very welcoming, and always ensures to check you are having a comfortable stay. The location is also great, would return here again

Staff/the owners were very hospitable and went out of their way to be kind to my children. They were very family friendly! Rooms, breakfast area and lobby were kept immaculate and hotel is within easy walking distance even with little ones to a great variety of restaurants and all the major sites and markets. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend.

this property is located near all attractions and is within walking distance to Grand Bazar and Blue Masque and many others. I had made the mistake of choosing a standard room and wanted a room with a view and the owner made sure that we got what we wanted. They were very accommodating . Our room was perfect with the most beautiful view. Morning breakfast was also wonderful with perfect view. Will definitely return again and highly recommend this hotel.

Muyan is a small family-run hotel with very helpful staff and excellent breakfast. We stayed at the hotel for six nights. Haci, the owner, greeted us every morning at breakfast offering omelets and Turkish coffee. We were pleasantly surprised to find a demi bottle of local wine with a nice thank-you note when we returned to our room on our last night there. When we checked out to move to another hotel where we were to begin our organized tour package, Haci's sister gave us a ride to the hotel. All in all we received excellent services over and beyond what we would normally expect. Our appreciation goes to the entire staff and, in particular, to Haci, Haci's sister, Mr. Hamsa, and Brak. We will stay at Muyan again!

Great Location in Old Town

Great boutique hotel in old town. They had the best breakfast with different items each day. Very clean, quite and comfortable. Walking distance to all the major old town attractions.

Comfortable Stay for Location

A nice little hotel, a short walking distance to the Blue Mosque / Sultan Ahmed Square and for Cemberlitas tram point if you wanting to head over to Taksim square area. We were upgraded to a nice suite. The room was very clean including the bathroom. Comfy bed, clean linen and fresh towels. Staff all pleasant and ready to help with anything. Only 3 gripes, 1) our Air Conditioning was not working, kept shutting off and when the louvers opened up you could see dust piles up so did not operate further - probably due for their annual service but was ok as we could open up the windows as the weather was hot during the day and a little muggy early evening. 2) the shower head holder kept slipping down, could do with a new grip for it, a little annoying whilst having a shower, 3) the breakfast was not what we expected didnt feel like a true turkish breakfast so opted for better experience outside for freshly squeezed juices, turkish sausages, more selection of cheeses and mezzes and lots more. Not a picturesque street but overall it was a good clean comfortable stay for the location and for our 4 night stay away.

It was a great experience. Everyone was super courteous and sweet, especially Mr. Haci and Mr. Hamza but the entire staff was really nice. Great area and everything at walking distance.

The staff/owners went way out of their way for every single guest. What a fantastic place to stay if you’re in Istanbul. Even though I didn’t need any guidance, I watched the staff just bent over backwards to help everyone that was a guest, regardless of language barriers. I highly recommend this place!!!!

Probably the best place to stay in Sultanahmet

I stayed in a family suite from Dec 15 till 21, 2023. Right from day 1 till the end of the stay, the entire experience was superb. Every staff of the hotel including the owner was so helpful and ensured personal interaction daily. Every small matter was taken care of. For ex: The owner handed over his travel card to me for the local transport (TRAMs) for daily commuting and also helped to plan the itinerary. The location of this hotel is superb and just a few minute's walking distances from all the tourist attractions within this area. The breakfast spread was simply too good and the delicacies were mostly Turkish and very well presented and prepared. Turkish tea and coffee were a delight. The view of the bay from the room was breathtaking.

Just a couple of minutes away from the Blue Mosque. Very spacious room with sea views. Buffet breakfast changed everyday. The staff is friendly and efficient.

This is a very affordable, old style European hotel, located within walking distance to the main attractions of Istanbul's old city. It is almost invisible on its narrow street, but the interior is nicely appointed, and bathrooms modern. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and will help you with transportation, or directions to other parts of the city using the mass transit system, which can be accessed within a few blocks. American travelers may find the style of this hotel quaint--it's not a Holiday Inn, OK?, so don't expect one--but it felt luxurious to us, especially when we went to breakfast on the 4th floor, with its terrace that overlooks the opening of the Bosporus onto the Sea of Marmara. The included breakfast is an amazing array of baked goods, cheeses and olives, and other goodies, as well as eggs and breakfast meats. Staff will offer you an omelet, or to bring you Turkish coffee instead of the standard drip brew which was ready to serve as well. If I'm ever in Istanbul again, I will certainly be checking in with this place first--but don't delay, they have only 8 rooms at any given time.

Small boutique hotel close to the main commodities less than 5mn walk (Tramway station, restaurants and supermarket). The blue mosque and Hagia Sophia within 5mn walk as well. The owner is amazing, very helpful and would do what it takes to ensure his guests are comfortable and enjoying their stay. If you like to support local and small businesses, the Muyan suite is the way to go.

Location: convenient to the 2 main mosque attractions , safe, away from main thoroughfare so it’s not noisy; also walkable to tram station (about 15min). Food: breakfast was generous and fresh; lots of local eateries with fair pricing. Service: warm and sincere; the owner, Mr Simsek, hosted us personally during breakfast and was ready to assist us navigate the area. Most thankful. Overall a fabulous boutique hotel.

We had the best room suite 301. Could see the coastline. Owner and staff went over the top to help us getting a taxi. Very important if you are travelling short distances. Breakfast was terrific. Great experience in a small suite hotel which is centrally located around major sites.

Nice stay

We had a lovely time staying at the hotel. The sea-view room was spacious, cozy and quiet. It is a family run hotel and our host and the staff were really thoughtful, personable and cared to keep guests happy, this hospitality alone made our stay a wonderful experience. Breakfast had variety of traditional Turkish salads, pastries, fruits, omelettes and everything tasted fresh and homemade.
