Worth the money

Very nice hotel located near the beach area in Patong. The rooms are well furnished and modern with good views to the swimming pools, amenities are varied and good housekeeping is provided. Buffet breakfast is with many options. Location of the hotel is nearby a street full of restaurants and shops and not far from the beach. Staff are cooperative and welcoming.

It is listed as 5 star but didn’t meet my expectations as a 5 star. The lights in the room are complicated to use.

The Road conditions bad

This is a fantastic hotel, amidst a very chaotic area. The property itself is well maintained, very clean and the pool is amazing! Staff are so friendly and did everything they could to make our stay really comfortable. I was really happy that my teenage kids’ room had an connecting door so that they could wander in to our room with no worries. Beds were super comfortable and everything worked in the bathroom. My only negative is allowing smoking on the balconies in the rooms. And not only cigarettes; marijuana is now legal in Thailand and although supposed to be done strictly in the “cafes”, guests saw it as their right to smoke cannabis on their balconies around young children. This was the only disappointing thing for our entire trip.

Everything was excellent as expected

The hotel property was beautiful. Staff were super nice. Check-in was done by Alex and support by Tony, Pink, Phoebe and they were very courteous.

Amazing staff, glorious pools, great food, comfortable bed

I had two bedrooms suite 👌on second floor corner it was very nice and comfortable. I would like to thank all nice staff specially Sofia who was very supportive and nice to me. The only thing is the room door isn't sound proof nor walls and you can hear walkers outside make too much noises talking too loud and if you are an early bird it will be no problem for you. The hotel is very suitable for families and near all stores . Beach is walking 20 mints and bangala road about 30 minutes. The beds mattress is so comfortable and rooms are very clean . مناسب جدا للعائلات وانصح به

Fantastic hotel and service. Only two points to improve: 1. Checkout took 35 minutes which is 30 minutes too long, way too long. 2. There was an issue with towels, seemed there was a consistent shortage of towels in the rooms and had to use same towels for 2 days

the staff were so friendly, could not do enough for us! The breaksfast each morning was incredible, a huge range of options to cater for differing tastes. Room with pool access was a win!

Great Hotel in Phuket

Our stay was great at Movenpick In Phuket . We had the room with pool access . This was our second time staying at Movenpick.

Awesome stay, lovely people, lovely place and central

We stayed in the family suite. It was wonderful and had the most comfortable Ed’s I’ve ever slept in. The king bed was super sized. The only issue was that when we got there, they then informed us that to have kids in the room, they need to be under 12 years old, which was not conveyed when we booked. They let it go this one time… but seemed petty and silly our 13, and 15 year olds were an issue.

It was a great experience staying at the Movenpick Hotel Patong. We booked a family suite for 3 nights from the 8th to the 11th of February. The room was spacious and well-maintained. The toilets were clean and the beds were huge. I really liked the location, it was convenient, and the staff were friendly, polite, and always smiling. I loved this place and would highly recommend it.

I didn’t like no sunshine around the pool for me to sun bake

A nice property but was a little disappointed in the slap dash approach to house keeping. Water not replaced one day then the next it was no T bags and equal. The room was great but had a smell of damp every time you walked in. The staff were lovely. The noise at the pool late into the night wasn’t good either. There appeared to be no security checking and I heard other guests complaining of the same thing. Overall it was a disappointing stay for what is supposed to be a 5 star resort.

Great location

The hotel is located at the slightly quieter North end of town away from Bangla Road and the busy beach front. However easy to walk to the beach if you dont like poolside. The rooms are spacious with large beds, and an internal balcony facing the pool. The sun loungers around the pool are uncomfortable and very cramped in together. Breakfast is buffet style with numerous options (but the same everyday) however there are a-la-carte options included. The staff here are super friendly and helpful

Apart form the weather as rained a lot, the Hotel overall was first class, the friendliness of the staff and the facilities were outstanding.

Beautiful hotel!

The staffs were friendly and professional, beds were amazingly comfy! I liked that the room floor was not carpet and it was really clean. Checking in & out were fast, morning buffet was wonderful. Only take 7-8mins to the patong beach. The convenient stores located next to the hotel was closed (maybe due to covid) and need to walk about 5mins down the street which was the only thing that was uncomfortable. Other than that all was good and satisfying.

This is the best hotel, and best room/pool situation I have ever enjoyed in my life. I booked a 1st floor isolated pool room in the corner, facing a stone wall. Aside from the fact that most rooms were not occupied due to Covid, having the corner cul-de-sac was a skinny-dippers dream spot. Roaming around that pool at 2am (when it was officially closed) was simply the best experience I ever had. All of the hotel staff were professional and exceptionally polite and helpful. *However ~ The food and drink prices are absolutely outrageous. If you make the mistake of not booking your breakfast as part of the deal, then you have to pay $25 per person. (Keep in mind that some hotels in the area are $22 per day.) So, for two people, that's $50. What if you only want a cup of coffee and two eggs? Really? I went to the bar and ordered a double bourbon, 1 ice cube. One shot is 350 baht = 750 baht = about $25. So, I think this just too much considering you can buy a whole bottle for about $35 at the store. I understand that the hotels need to make a profit, and I understand that Covid has really hurt the industry. But I have noticed that in all of the hotels here, that almost nobody utilizes the hotel restaurants & bars. If I was a hotel manager and I had hundreds of guests avoiding my facilities, I would fix that for sure. Aside from that, this hotel is to die for. If I ever go back to Phuket again, I need this hotel, and that same room.

The staff was very good and honest ,they help us a lot

This hotel os more beautiful in person. The pictures don't do it justice. I stayed by myself for an entire week- the staff treated me like royalty. The best room service I've ever had. Concierge can help you with all you needs, laundry, taxi, tours, currency exchange, etc. I definitely recommend paying a little extra for a room with pool access.

Phuket is known for their resorts, but they can look alike from design to amenities. The Movenpick Myth was very different. The design is beautiful a mix of east European and art deco that stands out in Phuket's resort landscape. The hotel is a short walk to the beach and Bangla Road. The rooms: It is all about the details. They got the details correct, from the shower, separate tub, closet space, balcony, etc. The only complaint I had with the room is there was no furniture with drawers. I prefer to unpack completely when I vacation, but that is just me. The spa is operated by a very nice and knowledgably woman who spoke several languages so I could communicate what I needed from my massage. They also have a great massage therapist by the name of Faride who was excellent I highly recommend her. I should mention the discount they offered at their spa which made it a better value than going into the city. The receptionist staff was also very nice and spoke English well enough to take care of all my needs and address any of my concerns. One in particular always answered my questions and took care of me, her name was Darlene it seemed there was not anything about Phuket she did not know SUPER helpful! The porter Neng not only took my bags to my room, but also gave me a tour around the hotel, and always greeted me with a smile. The dining selection was limited, but tasty. The pool and fitness center were always clean and great and worth it. I highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing hotel & staff, memorable experience

My family's short stay at the beautiful Movenpick Myth Hotel was unexpectedly extended due to my children getting positive PCR results. Anywhere else and we would have been completely lost except that the hotel management and staff banded together to provide us with the best possible care and accommodated us in anyway they could. No request was too difficult. Alberto (General Manager), Peter (Duty Manager), Neng (Bellhop) and all their other staff were and are simply awesome. In particular, what they have done for my children by assisting with the arrangements for all necessary test, documents and transfers for them to return to Sydney while my wife and I are in isolation, is immeasurable. During this difficult situation, this place is truly wonderful and we are grateful. Our future patronage to this Hotel goes without saying.

Everything was on point. The staff is incredibly polite and helpful. I even had my room decorated for a birthday surprise. The hotel itself is stunning.

There wasn’t much variety for breakfast. The staff was phenomenal from the general manager, front desk, housekeeping, engineering, etc! I encountered someone from every position during my two week vacation. Everyone had a smile and willing to help.

Clean, classy and comfortable rooms. The bed was so luxurious and huge! Everything was new and tastefully chosen. Location - few minutes from the beach, 15 min walk to Bangla Road. Check in was quick and efficient, staff was helpful and friendly. We had a swim up pool room - loved it, limited sun exposure but still ok. We wanted to extend our stay, but it was fully booked. Thank you for our great stay!

Super terrible breakfast given a 5 stars hotel standard

Very nice and new hotel

Hotel is new (stayed 01/20) so everything was clean and in great condition. Lobby is huge and gives a really luxorious first touch. Rooms are large and well equipped. There were some misunderstandings during our stay but the personnel fixed things pretty nicely. So service part is also good. One thing which was not nice is the sunbeds. There is no sun at the place of the beds during the whole day :D Pool is huge and nice but as said sun is missing. Luckily the beach is only two blocks away and there are lots of sunbeds for rent. Location is really good for any use. Highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was great except for pool space. First come first serve type of thing.

We had very comfortable stay there; very helpful and friendly staff. Hotel is on a quieter end of the street which is good.

Clean rooms and hotel. Nice pool facilities. Good location. Some staff went out if their way to assist and always greeted. Only issue was on the laat day we asked for a scale for our luggage that another staff showed they had one; however when we asked for iy again another told us they didnt have one even though i told them we were shown one qnd they kept saying that they didnt. Same issue when we called for them to bring it up to us. We eventually got it but was annoying we had to persist

Ok location, very overpriced for where they are located, lack of people competent in English language for an International hotel. Food catered not for Westerners, drinks warm and food cold.

Such an amazing place to stay that we did not have the heart the leave it to venture out sometimes. Very clean and excellent pool view. Breakfast buffet had many varieties too. Loved it!

Top class hotel

Great stay, street location and brilliant staff

This property is absolutely beautiful! Although the exterior entrance looks a bit tacky with the stain glassed Windows, the interior is pure glamour. The property appears to be very new and modern. The staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Our room was huge and full of amenities. As for the pool- wow! Another huge bonus was its proximity to the beach- roughly two blocks. Short walk- and well worth it! Loved everything about Movenpick!

The hotel is new however you can’t enjoy the outside pool since it’s always in the shade. The hotel staff and service was disappointing. Booked airport transfer that never arrived. Also after check out the hotel charged me $2000 by mistake that took me several days of calling the hotel from Australia to resolve the issue. Still waiting for my refund. Personally I won’t be going back to Mövenpick: (

On northern end of Patong, everything was very good. As for facilities really didn't use them. Within the room had a kettle so could make tea and that's really all we wanted. Massive bed could accomodate the whole family!! If you wanted too!!

Basically 5 stars, but a few things to button up.

Promptly greeted by a bellman and begrabbed our luggage and put them away. We had to wait 3 hours for our room but it was disclosed to us that our room wouldn’t be ready til 2PM so I’m not too bothered by it as they allowed us to swim at the gorgeous pool while we waited. The room was really nice, reminded me of Versace. Few things to note : Cloth panels on wall were coming off the wall The seal between the sliding balcony doors were really bad, could hear the pool and pool guests very clearly if drapes weren’t closed Blood on sheets. I didn’t realize this until the next morning and we only stayed for one night so there was no point in addressing it to the staff.

It didn’t get direct sunlight down the tanning beds area, but was amazing for photo opportunities!

My room hadn't been clean on 2 occasions, then refused to do it. Also, upon checking out they check your room to see if anything is broken !!! Ive travelled the world and never heard of this before

The hotel is really nice, our room was big, clean and the bed was amazing, the only thing we don't like was the service in the restaurant long time to take your food, we were waiting for about an hour for a salmon.

Can I go back?

It was a great experience with the Movenpick:) A warm welcome from the concierge and welcome desk. One of the lady- Fam( I hope I did not spell her name wrongly), try her best to find us a room since we have an early arrival. I appreciate her hard work! Then another lady shows us around the hotel and room. There is a free shuttle bus (10:00am/ 03:00 pm) to Patong Beach. Very convenient! And I would like to thanks the staff who drive us to the beach on the second day ! I love the swimming pool at the hotel! Also, the location is good for us, around 20 mins walking distance to the shopping mall and many good restaurants near the hotel.I’m sure I will recommend my family and friends to stay with Movenpick if they come to Phuket!

The hotel is clean and new. The swimming pool is well designed. the room is clean and spacious. the location is just nice, within 10mins walk to both shopping mall and beach.

I think the thing we liked the most was the indoor pool and pool bar facility. The hotel itself was very well presented, especially the rooms. We booked the deluxe room with the king sized bed and it was one of the best beds we've slept in. Pillows were also super comfortable (for anyone who checks reviews for this sort of info). Being a new hotel, everything was in very very good condition. Staff were very helpful whenever we required and room cleaning services were very professional. i highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in a classy joint. you get what you pay for here.

overall great rooms with some design flaws

Hotel is brand new so everything looks fairly nice and customer service is very good. That said, in 3 nights, we had to kill a roach per night. May be getting in via drains, but not sure. Hotel is a quarter mile from the beach so you will need to cross a busy street both ways with no crosswalks. There are small curbs or steps in various places so managed to trip a number of times the first day.. who designs half inch steps in odd spots in high traffic areas? Also, the tile in the pool area is super slippery even when slightly wet so be extra careful walking around by the pool

Hotel was great. The staff vert accomendating. We orginally booked a two twin bed room but she changed us to a king sized bedroom. Breakfast was great. The only complient i have is that during our stay I killed at least five cockroaches. For being such a nice hotel that was the only downfall. Aside from that everything was great.

This hotel was such a picturesque and photogenic place to stay. Architecture is very pretty and pleasing to the eye. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The spa was very good. Luckily for us, maintenance was scheduled just as we were leaving. Overall a very pleasing experience and stay at the Mövenpick Myth hotel in Patong!
