No place to put any clothes. (Partially unpack). Forced to live out of suitcase. Replace desk with unit of drawers below and cabinets above and incorporate a desk top in between. Doesn’t have to be deep. This would be a more useful use of the available space

Excellent place to stay!

Great hotel! Comfortable beds, close to lots of things, excellent staff. I will stay here again!

The room itself was a good size, however there was no dresser or nightstand. We had to live out of our suitcases. Poor use of the room space. There were no hand towels. Every day we had to request them. No dining in the hotel, only coffee in the lobby. I would not recommend or stay at this hotel in the future.

Really nice place

The towels are terrible and not enough. No hot water for a few hours.

lack of windows a drawback

Perfect hotel, great location. The hotel is safe with 24x7 front desk. Staffs are awesome, very professionals, and happy to help. I had a reservation for one night, and I ended staying three nights. I will stay again at this hotel.

The hotel is beautiful and well kept, in a perfect location, good value for money. Unfortunately it was very very noisy all night. Both corridor (rooms beep loudly when people come in and out) and music from outside the hotel. Not the best for sleeping quietly.

The hotel is clean and decent. However it seems to have deteriorated a bit since the last time I stayed here 2 years ago. Amenities could be a bit better. The biggest drawback is the location. While it is just 10 mins walk to Jalan Bukit Bintang and all the glitzy malls and restaurants, the area around Mov itself is a little seedy. It’s perfectly safe though.

Lots of places to eat nearby. Very close to Jalon Aloe. Overall had a great experience!

I enjoyed the stay

Very close to busy bars and restaurants. Can be a little noisy at night but generally convenient to Pavillion area. Rooms good and prices very reasonable. In my opinion.

Clean rooms with quirky design decor and lighting but good for budget if you book at the right price. Small gym and plunge pool. Located just off nightclub circuit so can be noisy into the wee hours. No in-room tea/coffee or refrigerator. Small room safe. Air conditioning had only one setting - freezing and full blast and was very noisy. They require RM200 security deposit which is a bit annoying but otherwise OK

With the price I paid, I would say it is worth the stay. The only feedback is that during the booking I did not see there is option whether you want a room with or without window but this is not critical for my stay.

5 days stay

Old hotel strategically located to the entertainment center of Buki Bintang. Night clubs around the hotel with loud vibrating music till 5 AM everyday of the week. Hotel is very cheap. No coffee in the room so you have to by their coffee sticks at reception. Rooms are extremely small . They only provide 2 old worn out bath towels and no hand or face towels. Air conditioner is super loud. $7 charge if you want an 3rd extra room card. The reason I will not recommend it is the very loud music.

Staff very helpful. Room was clean and spacious. We’re on the 11th floor. Did hear a little music from nightclub on next street over.

The rooftop pool area serves as an excellent alternative to a lounge but it would have been nice to have had a bar of some kind. I liked the location and am overall pleased with my stay.

Small enclosed room (no window) but functional and comfortable. Close to the local bars.

Whole night hearing music playing from rooftop bar or nearby bar, not very sure which till at least 4am plus. If you are a light sleeper kindly avoid!

Good enough but could be cleaner.

There was a small cockroach in the room and it smelled like sweat before i turned on the AC.

Great location, great pool

Excellent location for sightseeing, food and night life. Comfortable rooms (no balcony though). Fantastic roof pool, so necessary with the heat and humidity of KL! Helpful staff; found us a spot to park our rental car that we didn't expect to have overnight. Highly recommend!

Worth a stay

Friendly front desk staff, it make checking in & out smooth and easy. Have a queen size bed, the room size is just nice for me. The only down side is the room doesn't come with fridge. A part fron all these, is located near the to pubs and easily get foods around the hotel.

Great place to stay.

The property is in a great location but poorly managed. I had several issues in my room that they only fixed the evening before I checked out (stained sheets, AC not working, safety deposit box broken).

Enjoyed our stay at the MOV hotel & the bed and pillows were comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

The property is of good condition however there is no wardrobe to hang clothes or an iron. I would have loved to have the breakfast either as room service or in cafeteria. I didn’t like being woken up for housekeeping .l would have loved to have condiments in the room given the price.Apart from that it’s a nice place to stay,it’s close to shopping mall and staff are lovely

A clean hotel room and bathroom. Located in a busy area but walkable and close to public transport. The room was slightly warm despite the aircon switched on, and there was no window either. Not a big problem for me and the room was fine. I couldn't hear any outside noise.

1) Was not able to check-in till 5pm. Check-in was listed as 2pm. 2) Broken window in room that could not closed. Right next to busy street so it let in loud noises. 3) Did not receive room as advertised. Smaller bed with bed sheets that did not fit bed 4) Broken toilet and no soap in bathroom 5) No basics such small bottled water or shampoo provided 6) Room was hosed down and so the floor was soaking and bathroom completely wet.

The hotel communicated with me before arrival ensuring I had all the necessary information. Check in was fast and simple. The room was clean, neat and had everything I needed. The rooftop pool area had a comfortable seating area and was breezy in the afternoon. It was very close to Jalan Alor area so lots of eating options. Walkable to KLCC park and Petronas Towers, Tomes Square and KL Forest Echo park. Overall great value and I’d stay there again.

Worth a stay

Nice & cosy hotel. Staff are friendly, the whole process of checking in & out very smoothly and got my requested high floor room. As for the location, almost everything you needed are within the range or 10-15min walk. Shoppinh mall, food, pub and even train station. The only that is lack in the room will be fridge, especially during this hot weather period and is wasted that the roof top bar are not fully been make use. Will be back again if decide to stay near Bukit Bintang area.

Helpful staff but dirty

The staff were great, helpful when we had problems and allowed us to use the lobby phone to make local calls related to our trip. HOWEVER, the hotel is very dirty, likely hasn't been deep cleaned in a decade. Felt catfished by the ad.

Loved this hotel. Great room. Great staff. WiFi problems in the room were my only concern. Only my phone would connect, not MacBook Air for some reason. Rooftop pool and specialty lighting in the room made my stay excellent. I will stay again! Thank you.

This is a very good hotel option in the area! Many other hotels at this price point do not match this level of service and quality.

The hotel is in a very good location. Near the Pavilion and an MRT is close by. Although the quality of housekeeping is poor, they don’t sweep the floor and the sinks have dirt and residue. If you want to iron you need to go to the roof. The iron and board is located near the toilets and showers. There is no fridge but if you need to refrigerate the staff will put it away for you for example medicine. The street is sadly crawling with catcallers who live and work locally. Be mindful there is a lane near the hotel with working girls.

Nice, centrally located property. Only negative is that the hotel smelled of strong cleaning fluids. Kind of like pine sol. It was a very strong smell.

Nice showers and beds .air-conditioning is as loud as a jet engine impossible to sleep

The room was on the small side which led to many inconveniences: walking around suitcases, lack of storage space, etc.

The only thing I think they need to add is wash clothes for in the showers. The staff were always happy to help if you had any questions.

Room smells bad really bad and not that clean as it should for hotel calming 4 stars , noisy area at night specially if thy give a lower floor , I’m glad i booked only two nights and moved to another place

Close to a lot of restaurants

Perfect location to everything and enjoyed the stayed being a first timer in KL and a solo traveler.

Excellent location and easy going.

Room size was sufficient for a short stay. The curved shower area was unique and functional. Many dining options in the surrounding area. Short walking distance to Lot 10 & Pavilion. An excellent lodging choice in Bukit Bintang area.

Excellent location. Access to many restaurants, spas and shops in the area.

Great location and staff. We have a very late flight back home so we were offered a late check out at 1pm. We could also use the pool facilities on the roof top which had great showers shampoo etc. We were also given towels and mineral water from the nice guy at the reception. We will definitely recommend this hotel, walking distance to Petrona Towers and the good street Jalan Alor is 3 minutes away.

I don't like the smell of the lobby . Neutral perfume is OK. Not everybody like the strong smell.

Great location

The hotel is very modern, clean and in a great location. Prices are reasonable, however the room I booked (Enclave) didn’t have a window which in my opinion isn’t made obvious when booking as it was a surprise to me. Not really a big deal but just made getting over jet lag more difficult! My only recommendation would be to put water refilling stations on each floor as it was an effort to go either to the basement or roof top! Overall I recommend this hotel.

This hotel is very reasonably priced. Location is in Bukit bintang. But it’s also situated in a 50m road full of foreign workers. I walk through the street and I did not like it, in the end I grab a lot. Grab is affordable The downside of the place is, there isn’t parking. Parking is nearby and have to pay. It’s not rm38 for full day parking like what the hotel staff will tell you for sheltered parking. It’s around 60rm for full day overnight parking It’s a basic hotel with nice renovation. I will stay there again

Location is very convenient! Great food options around the hotel. Both service and room condition were very good.

The property is fantastic. The only area letting it down is the bed linen. It doesn’t seemed to be fully checked before use and isn’t changed daily even when visually dirty.

Great, comfortable stay with amazing staff. The location is perfect and central to Jalan Alor, restaurants/bars, shopping, and the metro. Loved the design of the rooms and rooftop pool, and the beds were comfy. Wish there was a fridge in the room, but there were plenty of toiletries and overall, it was unbeatable value!

The room did not include any furniture to put your close away. No dresser, chest, or armoire. Not a big deal to many, but for me being able to put your t-shirts, underwear and socks neatly away is a game changer. Other than that detail, everything else was OK.

The location is good; it's close to streets with bars and restaurants. It's also pretty close to downtown.

Excellent location. Friendly people. Good food around. Can improve in providing information on tour and trips around. Perhaps an arrangement with a tour company is a solution. The lifts could be better cleaned. Highly recommended. Excellent value for money.

Great spot right in the centre of the city. Tidy rooms and good facilities

The air conditioning was to noisy even on low speed, the bed was a little uncomfortable probably because the base was always moving around and no Facial towers in the Bathroom. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay. Service was good in reception.

MOV Hotel is located at Bukit Bintang, and it's a really good spot for those who want to eat local delicacies and enjoy the night scene. There is also a cheap affordable RM5 breakfast, which has a good enough variety of food for those on the go. Amenities wise, the hotel only had a 3-in-1 shampoo/conditioner/body wash and had to do my ironing at the rooftop (everyone had to share the iron). This is a no-frills hotel and it's pretty good if you are looking for some place clean, decent and value for money.

I’d like to thank all the staff at MOV who made my stay so much more relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel as they really all look after you without effort as the customer service comes naturally by some of the most beautiful people

The MOV location is perfect. The design is interesting and modern. Staff are friendly. Wifi is excellent. The room had extra high ceilings yet the length and width of the room were no more than the height. Your cube room would have been more functional with a queen size bed rather than a king. For one guest or very short stay, the room is okay but for two, I haven't any idea where you can place your belongings. The morning coffee is very bitter

Walking Distance

Overall good stay. Good location walking distance for convenience store, restaurant, drinking place. Hotel wise, nice facade and interior. Cleanliness ok. I stayed in Gemini Room, not really spacious room but ok for two with not many luggage. No bath tub. BARE in mind that there is no chiller or refrigerator in the room. The rooftop pool small but enough for chill.

Hotel was very conveniently located , with many dining options. Sound proofing was good despite the vibrant environment at night.

Excelent hotel at a good location. Only one serious problem is the high sound level of the AC at the lowest setting! Checked in a few other rooms (3) and it appears a structural problem. You need earplugs to sleep!

Good value close to Bukit Bintang

The staff are great, rooms basic and good shower. But tight on space around bed. Probably not for a long stay but good for short stops. Easy to walk most places and close to MRT. Nice breakfast cooked fresh.

Room was small but sufficient. Staff was very helpful. Hotel is in a good location.

Didn't stay in hotel much cos was meeting elsewhere. Only back to bath and sleep. On the whole comfortable with a working aircon. The room safe has no instructions on operation. No toilet paper when we first went to room.

The hotel was a bit disappointing. It had a damp smell in the corridors and in our room. Breakfast was OK with a good choice. The hotel was a good location as it was close to what we wanted.
