Great stay!
The staff were friendly and helpful. Super cute place to stay and in a great location! Easy to access. Beautiful views. Great price!! Would DEFINITELY stay here again!!
OK stay. Adjoining units are noisy and sound abating is not part of the construction process. Staff is very good.
Clean and comfort. Good value for the money
Nice place to stay when weather temps so low we are not comfortable at home.
Location and price
The room was very quiet, comfortable bed and a great night's sleep - I can't ask for anything more. Thank You!
Great hotel at a great price.
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.
Where do I even start. The lobby was cluttered with junk and had nothing in place. The room had weathered furniture, flooring, appliances, and chairs that should’ve been well on their way out. Keep in mind, there was only one other car so our hotel room was most likely one of the better ones. The bathroom was halfway done in their renovation but just got left, with bugs everywhere diving in between cracks. The breakfast was something else, with old orange juice and not much to offer. The outdoor area and location was the only positive of this experience. With the pricing, use this as a last resort to stay.
We booked the hotel because it had high ratings. Although it was a decent hotel, I do not think it deserves the ratings.
Great location and great view!
The view and area was great and the room was so comfortable and exactly what we were hoping for
Hidden Gem
This is a hidden gem out here in the Austin hills. The suite looks and feels like an apartment with an amazing view of the rolling hills. You get a living room, real dining table and a cute little kitchen space. Bed and pillows were comfortable and the shower was super nice. Glad I found this place. Will definitely make it my Togo place when In Austin.
Could not find it at night. No sign or address showing.
Amazing service. Thanks
The door was hard to open and close. The door knobs on the bathroom were loose. The iron wouldn’t get hot for me to press my pants. The housekeeping staff was efficient. The front desk personnel was not available when I checked out.
It’s was the best for the price, remote was not very clean, the items are somewhat outdated and one room had the fridge taken so only one room had one, even then for what it was we went ahead and stayed, old places have old smells- so for the night was good
The hotel was convenient to where I was visiting. The Bed was comfy. The bathroom was updated and exquisite. The shower was hot. The view was awesome. The TV was challenging to operate.
Room is clean. Bed is firm and comfortable. The lodge is high enough to see a big view. The landscape is great to see.
Definitely recommend staying here peaceful and lots of parking!
The view was nice but the remote for the bedroom tv did not work neither did 4 others. There were 3 different kinds of bugs in our room, several of each and the hot water never got past barely warm
Poor condition
Property was conveniently located for our needs. Staff was friendly. Beds were comfortable. Overall condition of the property was a mess. Would not stay there again.
Beautiful view of Austin. Close to restaurants and places to shop.
The most comfortable bed I have ever slept on.
Very nice for the price very worth it
tired
The staff were very nice. The rooms could use updating.
Quaint and Comfortable
Nice place to stay. No problems whatsoever. Note: if you’re a breakfast person you’ll want to eat at the nearby restaurants. There are plenty of places so not a big deal. I would stay here again. Best bed I’ve ever slept on.
Beautiful property, great rooms, and friendly staff
There was so many crickets, dead and alive in my room. There was no smoke detector. That’s a big violation. There was only half of the safety door latch. The front desk clerk was the sweetest person thoug=
Checked in late but the front staff was awesome. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was terrible. I was told that the coffee in the canister was made for a gyest the evening before and I could just heat it in the microwave?? Yeah NO! The OJ had a weird flavor, the muffins tasted old. The waffle mix was in the fridge and needed to be stirred to be used. Would probably pass on this one when in Austin.
They are working on improvements and it will be a great hotel soon. Need improvements in bkfst fair and coffee and coffee cup availability.
Disappointed Traveler
Property is under renovation but was not told this until I showed up and saw all the construction material and equipment in the lobby. After asking if I should move to a different property, the gentleman who was desperately trying to help me finally found a room that was ready for occupancy. Since I had already paid and had no confidence they would reimburse me, I opted to stay. Not sure what was going on or what the property is like when it is clean and efficiently run but it was so cluttered and dirty I couldn’t enjoy the amenities they advertise. Breakfast room too dirty with days old food, no water in pool, no outside furniture, uncomfortable bed, and TV didn’t work. Very disappointed traveler. They should have never accepted my reservation or, at a minimum, given me a discount.
It Was OK it was a little dated, but we did get a good nights sleep and the air conditioner was cold
Adequate in every way
The person on duty was friendly and helpful Check in was a breeze. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was convenient for me. All the basics and none of the frills.
This place is a little gem in the hills. Beautiful view, convenient, and in a nice safe area. Only down fall is how expensive it is! Was hoping to make this my “home” while I’m working at Baylor Lakeway down the road, but they charge far too much for a basic room. I would return for a night or two sometime though!
Family trip
Friendly, accommodating, & clean, with spectacular views!
Old style stone building was a nice fit, expecially in the Hill Country
Nice retreat
Nice but a bit more out-of-the-way than I thought; but there are restaurants etc. in close driving distance. Something of a “retreat.”
The hotel is near Galleria area. Close to Austin Tennis Academy. It is not bad, I would stay there again
Spontaneous visit
Breakfast was disappointing, bathroom looks like it needs to be refinished, and what appeared to be a reclining love seat was obviously damaged with the gears exposed. Service was great and the beds were comfortable. The grounds were charming but could use some TLC as some of the plants appear to be dead. I loved the patio and that there is a walking trail accessible from there.
My suite is very nice, with a pretty view, a good breakfast
Great stay would come here again!
Older facility but it was clean and everyone was helpful.
It was very nice and it was what we were looking for
You can tell the property was once a much better place than it is now.
Great View of Hills from
This is an older hotel, but kept up pretty good. There is an excellent view of the Austin hills. If you’re looking for the Hilton Experience, this is not for you, it’s a pretty-good hotel I’ll definitely stay at again. The breakfast had a waffle maker, Ned I say more.
Always nice and clean
Spacious room and great view!
I was pleasantly surprised at the wonderful view from my balcony. The room was spacious and very comfortable. I felt as if I were staying at a resort lodge. There were roses and bluebonnets outside. The friendliness of the staff was definitely above average.
This is a hotel that needs lots of work: door deadbolt didn’t work, no hair dryer, mold in bathroom, breakfast was not good too. We won’t be staying there ever again!
The view was so beautiful!
The room was clean and tidy. The sofa was comfy. The restaurants were close by and of high quality. I walked around the lodges because the view was so beautiful. The balcony view was breathtaking!
Front desk very nice
Cute Lodge in the Texas hill country
Cute lodge in the Texas hill country, friendly staff, very helpful and accommodating
Staff was friendly, room was clean, view was nice. Tough area to leave by foot so you may need a car to get around.
Awesome worker
Great room, bed to bath. Friendly staff.
An excellent stay overall. Positives were the staff, and room cleanliness, bed was comfortable. AC & TV worked fine, bathroom was spotless. Slight negative was the breakfast. I wasn’t really expecting a chef to make us an omelette- breakfast offered was Fruit loops & Raisin Bran type bulk products, waffle batter that made a lousy waffle & a bucket of margarine . Coffee and Juice that sucked, etc. - available for 2 hrs. I’d stay again & stay in bed.
Hot water was very slow. The beds were a bit soft. The smell of the cleaning solution used for the room was very strong. The hotel was nice, we enjoyed our stay. Water in the room would help with coffee. We would come back, but needs a few things to be 5 star.
I absolutely loved the view from my own private balcony. The staff was great and friendly, and the room was nice, big, and inviting. I'll definitely be back!
Worst Place
Breakfast starts at 8 am, it's nearly Brunch. Everthing is unmaintained and not clean. Door locks not working right and tv could operate with remote. I guess nobody cares, just to make money. The best of all, when I was sleeping late at night someone from the staff just came into my room. NEVER EVER AGAIN
Beautiful views!
Comfortable bed and room. Nice pool
Great budget place for my little weekend getaway, very peaceful and the view was absolutely beautiful. There were a few repairs happening at the property but we went during an off season so it is expected. Breakfast was great too!
It was great, we really enjoy staying here. This particular time the air freshener, or cleaning chemicals were extremely strong. Other than that it was great.
Friendly staff with a great location. Great views and close to all the shopping and restaurants.
Trash outside room, worst breakfast.
Seems like construction work going on, trash bags in front of room, room inside was also not clean, dust on chairs and table. Breakfast was horrible, frozen burger, not much options, waffle was terrible, orange juice doesnt seem to be fresh, few pieces of stale bread. This was a bad experience.
Noisy
The place needs some updating and touch up details, plus some extermination treatment, we had a small roach running in our bathroom, which by the way needs some good cleaning and touch up painting. The place is kind of noisy because you can hear the neighbors in the parking lot which are mainly construction workers, since they take almost all the parking with their big trucks. It's good for one night.
The Civility of the People, the ready smiles, the Hospitality, the Cleanliness... Something that has been LOST in the U.S. for Decades and a Beware but HUGE ACCOLADES for Travelers. When I got into Mexico, during Layover in Mexico City, I went to a restaurant, ordered, payed but when I got to my hotel, the Debit Card from my Bank had been flagged. At the Hotel my payment was "Declined". I hadn't moved enough money to other Cards, and didn't have enough Cash or Pesos to pay the Bill. The young lady behind the Counter says into my Spanish Translator APP, "You want to just pay in the morning?" I did a DOUBLE TAKE, "WHAT????? You are asking me if I want to STAY TONIGHT AND PAY TOMORROW"!!!! Yep, I checked in to a Beautiful Room, spent an amazingly restful night after walking the Courtyard and enjoying a Cerveza.. I made sure the next morning to get funds released and gladly PAID the Bill!! The Hotel is a short walk to City Center, Taxi's always available. The Restaurant serves some of the Finest Coffees I've EVER had. This will be the place we will stay and we have people stay at when we come in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Room was comfortable but king bed was very high off ground wife had difficulty getting in and out.
Awful.
My experience may be one of the few but it was my first such abysmal experience and service. Waited for almost 1/2 hour for front desk to show up. And when the receptionist did show up she was so disjointed and disconnected. And after some trying times getting her to do her job I had to get another hotel. I tried to be as patient as possible having had customer service experience…it isn’t an easy job but this experience was at a different level altogether.
Great!
From check in to check out, Ms Alexa was helpful and very professional.
The hotel is next to a river. You can walk next to the river. The room has a garden view.
The hill view is nice and close to many restaurants.
Nice staff. A few things need updating but a nice quaint property.
It was a short getaway and the landscaping of the lodge was very enjoyable. Didn't realize south of ATX has beautiful hill country. Like the proximatie of the lodge to local winery at 5 Soul.
Awful
We reserved a king, they gave us 2 queen. The a/c didn’t work. No one was ever up front to get help. When we got there, the shower was still wet with open shampoo and only 1 towel and 1 wash cloth. Tried to go up front, again, no one was there. Called the number for the front and no one answered. Cleaning came in and made the bed, but didn’t change out the towels or leave more towels so my husband and I literally shared a towel and wash cloth all weekend. Then the next morning when we went to leave and get coffee and breakfast it was locked up tight with no one there.
Loved this property! Everything was super clean, the patio and scenery was a major plus! The bed was extremely comfortable, we will definitely be back!
Love the view at here !!
Each unit has a balcony with a good view.
So Much Potential!
Beautiful location and view! Updates needed though, as well attention to the cleanliness/maintenance of common areas, inside and out. Friendly staff but not always available. This place could be a real gem with some TLC!
SO-SO
Property is tired. The finish was coming off of our bathtub. They have tried to update, but a lot of the work looks amateurish.
Was awesome!!..enjoyed a quiet and relaxing date night with the wife..the 219 suite is the best room
Great location, clean and comfortable
Great Beds, Great View, Could use some updating.
I would stay here again. The beds were extremely comfortable. The building shows it age, but its in a very peaceful area and the building is extremely laid back.
We had stayed at a few different places on our vacation and this place was the first one that seemed like we were really on vacation! It was so quiet and I loved the patio that looked out over a valley and mountain area.
The hotel is quiet, clean and affords a spectacular view of the Texas Hill Country from the patio deck adjoining each room.
It is an older property. The main issue was the fact that it took about 2 minutes for the water to get hot. That is a lot of wasted water. Also no drawers at all.
Average hotel Beautiful view
The room was not clean. The white comforter on the bed had brown stains on it. Called the front desk several times and no answer.
This property was a quiet and reasonable option. The beds are a little dated, but room was clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great place to stay for the price.
Thumbs Down
We had a room with no security latch. ants and bugs. toilet seat was floating not secure and the breakfast was not as advertised.
It’s so beautiful out here! It’s the perfect getaway from the city for any type of special occasion or just a regular get away! Will definitely come back🙌
Very convenient for my purposes. Room was very clean. Management helpful with all questions. Definitely reasonable rates.
This is a sweet little hotel with rooms with balconies looking out over the hill country. The price is very reasonable and is in a location convenient to shopping, food, recreation....
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. easy “no hassle” check in. The cost was very reasonable.
Everything was great! The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room was clean. I have no complaints and will definitely be back!
Very nice and friendly hotel.
Poor customer service
No one was there to help open the door at night. I was locked out all night and had to sleep in the car. Very frustrated.
Excellent 👍👍
The room was spacious and good value for the price we paid. The property was quiet. Good location next to shopping and restaurants. Beautiful views. Loved the balcony which overlooks the pool. Staff was polite and courteous. I would definitely stay here again.
Not what I expected
I would say I got the room that looked like it was under renovation. There was a broken back door, pretty obvious it had been previously kicked in. The sheets had stains on them, towel holder broken still had screws and broken bits attached to the wall. Mold on the floor lining to the tub, and the sink was clogged, but it did have a spectacular view and nice size pool. I was not impressed with what I was given after seeing so many wonderful reviews and nice photos of the property. The staff was kind and friendly but wasn't available for extra toiletries, our room had half a roll of toliet paper and not enough pillows. Overall the view was better than the room itself.
I like the location but they really need to renovate the premises. Breakfast was stale, (same bagels. Bananas and eggs all week) cleaning missing and the whole place needs remodeling. . The site is beautiful but the hotel needs to be entirely remodelled.

Nasty
Sheets on bed dirty , mold in shower , nothing for breakfast except honey buns
