Great stay in Rotterdam

Great location in Rotterdam Close to Market Hall and lots of Amenities. Staff excellent and super helpful

Don't be fooled by the fact that it's a motel because it's MUCH better than a lot of the hotels I stayed in. This place has extremely friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, great location right in the city center within 5-10 minutes of walking to the main places in Rotterdam. We were offered a free checkout time extension as one of us caught cold and had to sleep in for a couple of hours past checkout.

Great hotel, excellent location

Simple, clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Couldn't believe how smart and well presented it was for the price, and the location is unbeatable. Would absolutely visit again.

really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, location was super ideal and close to all the bustle without the noise. really good sound proofed windows and air con/heat that was actually effective. staff in the bar was always lovely, and the hotel felt clean and safe.

Great about everything except parking. There is none. You cannot drive to the property. No streets go to it. We parked illegally after driving in circles for 30 minutes trying to find a street to hotel. We eventually found a parking garage about 2 blocks away and walked to hotel. But area and hotel are good. Just know about driving

Such a cool hotel, rooftop bar/breakfast area was a highlight, rooms are small but cosy and the hotel is in a great location!

Very conveniently located. Close to Markthal which has great dining options. Walking distance to Ratterdam Platt Intercity metro station. Breakfast is cery good. 5th floor lounge is very nice. Staff is excellent. Rooms was very modern, clean. Bed was great.

Location near touristic attractions. Room distribution awkward, toiled in opposite end of room than shower and sink.

A pleasant short stay in a modern hotel

I had a pleasant stay. Centrally located, modern, hotel with a rooftop bar, only serves drinks and breakfast. Staff weee lovely, I would suggest to get more staff to help take order of drinks in the bar as one person is not enough.

Room was exactly what we reserved, but it was EXTREMELY tight. Bed was comfortable!

Taxi on two occasions could not pick us up, we had to walk to the Taxi.

Very well located and good looking but really really small, so not even a kettle to make yourself a tea, and overall too expensive. If you have a car, the nearby parkings are also so pricey (with no discount from hotel) that you might want to consider an alternative a bit farther.

Rooms are small. The location is convenient and walkable however it is located next to a church with a ringing bell on the hour. There are other more affordable options near with better amenities but if you do book here the hotel is clean and safe.

Really pleasant stay at this property. Staff are awesome, room was decent, tight in space but bed and shower were amazing. Service was prompt and professional. Location is fab … easy to travel and loads around the area as well. Few downsides … No kettle / tea coffee facilities or even bottled water in room … understand they want to be green etc but think basics like this at the rate hotel charges is a must. Biggest let down was the bedding … king / double bed … but they use two single quilts … never seen this anywhere in world … requested for it to changed and all they did was give another single quilt … made do with it as rest of everything else was spot on but in all my years of staying at hotels … first time I’ve seen this and pretty much only thing that prevented 5 stars all round. Didn’t have brekkie as Markethall just next door … so that was my preference. P.S. the sweets in reception were amazing.

We love this hotel. It is in a great location that is walking distance to so many Rotterdam landmarks. The room was very clean, the people were incredibly friendly and Nulo who runs the restaurant on the 5th floor was great! He made a fantastic cappuccino and was very helpful.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Rooms are freshly decorated, clean and tidy. Good beds, shower, and air-conditioning. Breakfast is on the 5th floor roof top bar, with some outside space, nice to be looking over the city. I'll be coming back!

The whole experience from checking in to checking out was a breeze. The room was clean and a super comfy bed.

Great location, comfortable stay, breakfast was satisfactory but lacked hot food; I will stay again but without the breakfast. Market hall nearby offers plenty of food options. Staff provided excellent service thank you.

beware of currency conversion scam

The hotel itself is amazing with panoramic views of the cathedral, and the location is great. However, you need to have your wits about you when checking in as staff aggressively push the currency conversion scam by tricking you into paying in a different currency. What they don't tell you is that the fee for not paying in euros is 4.45%. I realised my mistake immediately, but the receptionist refused to cancel the transaction and take payment in euros. I asked again before leaving the hotel and they again refused claiming it was not possible, without offering any apology. There must be a process in place to refund guests or provide compensation for issues.

There was no chair and no table per se

Another great stay at this hotel, our number one choice for overnight stays, close to the station, shops etc. Would like to see the rooms equipped with the option of making a hot drink and have a bottle of water left as complimentary, albeit cups were left in order that water could be drank from the sink

Large hotel in a quiet location but walkable distance to the shops, eateries, museums and transport links. Has a nice roof area for drinks and breakfast. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. If I'm in Rotterdam again I wouldn't hesitate staying here.

Excellent hotel, excellent staff

A quirky hotel in a great location near the Markthall. Check in was easy and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was excellent, if a little small. The rooftop bar, eclectically furnished, was an added attraction, good value and with a huge selection (30-plus gins, for example) on offer. Breakfast was also served in the bar area; the food was quite nice but the furnishings - all low tables with odd chairs or high tables with stools - aren’t so conducive to eating a meal.

The location was great and the hotel was fabulous.

Excellent location

Hotel is perfectly located but the room was very compact although it was clean and of a good standard we had checked online beforehand and it states the bar is open until 2am on Friday and Saturdays it closed at 1am and unfortunately we had a delay at the airport and arrived at 1am we had arranged to meet my son who lives in Rotterdam and he had to leave as the bar was closed there were paper cups in the bathroom but one of them was split so we couldn’t even have a drink of water we had to go to reception and wait for the night porter to bring us new ones. The bar a reception areas were nicely decorated and location was good but work outside made access a little difficult.

Overall very good experience and the staff were helpful. Great location and easy to travel. The room is a bit small but quiet at night. The room cleaning services can certainly be improved; they also automatically remind you of the check-out time by knocking on the door 30 mins earlier and then 5 mins earlier before the official check-out time?!

It is as a nice area of town. Convent to the train station (walkable if you want to and take your luggage). Lots of places to eat and shop. Only spent one evening, but it had a nice bar on the top floor.

A good hotel, quite basic but a great base for a long weekend. Comfy beds, a fantastic rooftop bar with great views in every direction. Polite staff and the best location in the city centre, close to absolutely everything!!

Nice hotel in a great location.

Overall, a good stay at Motel One. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the train station, and conveniently located to the Markthal, waterfront, and dowtown shopping areas. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that my door handle kept jammning and wouldn't lock at times.

MotelOne är ett mycket bra mellanklasshotel. Dock är enkelrummen i minsta laget så värt att uppgradera till dubbelrum.

Very good hotel. They close down the AC at 22:30 so perfectly quiet sleep.

Literie impeccable, calme, une très bonnenuit. Le One Lounge est un endroit superbe, très belle vue et ambiance.

In the middle of the shopping zone

Motel One is in the middle of the shopping district, very close to Markhallen with superb food options.

Top Lage direkt in der Fußgängerzone, aber dadurch keine eigenen Parkplätze vorhanden. Achtung: Google Maps führt einen nur in eine angrenzende Nebenstraße (Sackgasse). Nächste Parkmöglichkeit in der Markthallen Tiefgarage, gleich um die Ecke. Sehr schöne Dachterrasse mit Ausblick auf die Markthalle. Reichhaltiges Frühstücks Buffet im Dachgeschoss mit Ausblick auf die Innenstadt.

Excelente ubicación

I discovered the Hotel One in Netherlands, I love the concept, small room, affordable and good breakfast. This one could benefit from bette seating for breakfast, most of the table are outside, and inside it's mostly a lounge bar seating.

Un mirador al futuro

El hotel tiene una ubicación ideal para descubrir las sorpresas que Rotterdam tiene preparadas para el viajero que no espera mucho de esta sorprendente ciudad. Su diseño es funcional i nos gustó mucho la quinta planta, donde te puedes tomar algo a precios razonables y disfrutar de preciosas vistas a los edificios futuristas alrededor. Muy amables

This hotel is in a good location, near to restaurants, train & metro stations, room is average size, but ver small space for hanging cloths or store; the breakfast is good for one day but boring for a longer stay; (only boiled eggs)

Fijne locatie, winkels en horeca op enkele stappen verwijderd. Bianca van de frontdesk was ontzettend vriendelijk en positief!
