Solid hotel!

Friendly staff, simple to get around.

Great hotel for our trip to Munich. Its a bit out of town but the staff were super helpful with showing us ways to use the local transport network which made getting into Munich really easy and cheap. We drove and there is a large, easy to park in underground garage

It was way too expensive for a bedroom this size. Anyway, the building has two parts. I suppose if you book via online travel agency, you’ll get a worse room in the smaller part like ours - with a view to the construction site. It would probably be better to book directly. The room and the bathroom were pretty clean overall, but there were some nasty spots with unclear origin on our furniture. The staff was friendly and the roof top bar is nice though. Still not worth the high price in my honest opinion.

Good business hotel, conveniently located for Parkstadt. Room is small but has everything I needed. A kettle in the room would be good.

We enjoyed the helpful staff! They are so nice and responded to every of the questions we had about the city. The hotel is beautiful and clean!

Mediocre rooms, over crowded, definitely overpriced.

The hotel is located in a business area. There is not much to do in that area. Room was clean, staff super friendly!! The bar on the top floor is great. We found some free parking in the streets nearby. Would stay here or at other Motel Ones again!

Tiny rooms zero space for anything

Absolutely tiny room. Not enough space to walk around, unpack, open luggage. No space beside bed to put a CPAP or a phone charger or glass of water. I'm on a 15 day business trip I need to iron something. There isn't any space to put an iron or board Tiny half shelf. Downstairs in the main hotel it was spacious and tastefully decorated but I moved hotels today because of the room. Thankfully my last minute next hotel allowed me to check in early so I can get organised for my meeting tonight.

Good location for business overnight stay. More or less Office area so Sunday choice of restaurants is very limited. Close to highway. Nice and clean. Good breakfast

Good location clean rooms no fridge or kettle reception very hot and dimly lit air conditioning not seem to be working so so Hotel. Paid to keep my room for a few more hours, ten euros per hour.

Excellent service. Very clean, and fresh. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Perfect if you have a car

Perfect if you have a car and need a cheapish place for a one night "no frills" stay. Bed was "ok" comfortable for one night which is vastly superior to most hotels these days with horrid hard beds everywhere - these were medium to firm and "ok". Rooms are basic but modern and have everything you need. The car parking was only 14 euros so cheaper than any other hotels nearby that we could find. It's the right side of the city for the airport if you're dropping a hire car the next day - the traffic in Munich can be awful so this is a real plus. It's right by the metro which is 10 mins easy walk and that takes you in 5-10 minutes right to the centre of the aldstadt or 5mins to the English Garden area with its great beer garden in the middle and the cocktail bars to the West of the park. A day ticket is €12.80 for a 2-5 person ticket so a bargain if you're a family and useful if you want to cover a number of sites in one day. If you're staying out late an uber home is very cheap and if you plan it right you could do the English Garden/Cocktail bars last so you're on the way to the hotel. I'd highly recommend and would stay here again in a similar situation.

Bathroom cup was paper cup, which I do not like since Germany is pretty environment conscious country.

Very nice staff, rooms are of moderate size, bathroom very nice. A/C in our room sort of worked but not really. Great ammenities throughout, wish it was a bit closer to the centre but a metro station is only about 10 minutes away.

Staff were patient, friendly and so helpful.Nice breakfast as well.

Very comfortable beds, shower was good, food very limited and rooms are small but that is ok if you are just going to sleep and don't have alot of luggage. it's a minimalists type of hotel. Close to Allianz stadium and can take the train. Farther from city center but still can use the train system. Parking was a plus, have their own self park. We would gladly stay here again.

Modern hotel with rooftop bar and friendly staff

The hotel only recently opened in 2017 and has a nice lobby, a large breakfast room with long tables and smaller seating areas, and a rooftop bar with a nice view. All very cosy. The modern rooms are small but clean with all you need such as a comfortable bed, shower, flatscreen TV, and fast Wifi. Dogs are also allowed (EUR 5/day). The staff is very friendly and professional. For instance, we were offered a free breakfast when our room was mistakenly not cleaned, with no questions asked. Excellent! Marcel makes great cocktails (e.g. Alabama Slammer). The hotel is in walking distance (~900 mn) to an underground station that goes directly downtown. There are sufficient parking spaces. We will definitely return next time we are in Munich. Servus!

Nice Hotel near to Transport, Great Breakfast

We had a great stay in Motel One Munchen-Parkstadt Schwabing - modern, clean and friendly staff.

Hotel location was about a ten minute walk to the train station. Location was easy to get to and amenities were good. Friendly staff too!

Fine for a short stay

Stayed in the Motel One for two nights. Checkin was efficient, with good English spoken. The room was small with very little room to move around or unpack, just an open hanging area and a couple of shelves. We had a room overlooking the inner courtyard which was quiet. Breakfast had a good variety of cold food. We stayed on a busy weekend in Munich, and the breakfast area was totally full when we ate, around 9:30am. The hotel does note that 9pm onwards on weekends is busy, but we struggled to get a table in the main area, the second day we sat on the very comfortable sofas in the bar area and ate. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant for eating in the evenings. The first night we went to a nearby pizza restaurant (Goloseo Grande) which was good value. However, being on a business estate, it was closed over the weekend, as was everything else in the area. However, the tram stop into town is a few minutes walk away. The hotel charges for parking, but we had no problem finding free on street parking throughout our stay. Overall, Motel One is fine for an overnight stop, but a little isolated and basic for a longer stay.

Good price to value ratio. Extremely clean hotel with a modern design. Rooms are small, but manageable for two without a lot of luggage. Possible to find free parking on the street, but underground parking garage is large and very affordable at €11 per night. Easy 2.5 km bike ride to the center of the English Garden. Bike friendly with free storage room in the parking garage. We will stay again next time we are in Munich.

Brand new hotel - in a business district - room clean and modern , location not so good for public transportation

We paid much more than the room was worth because our visit was during Oktoberfest. Very small room for two people. 10 minute walk from U6, which goes directly into the city center. Difficult to cool the room down, and windows are sealed shut (they don't open). Nice bathroom, and breakfast was good, but at an extra cost.

Work stay

Called the front desk in middle of night. Rang for more than 5 minutes before someone picked up. Close to airport with shuttle.

Super Hotel in guter Lage. Zimmer sehr klein.

Das Parkhaus ist wirklich sehr eng und die auf und Abfahrt sehr steil. Nichts für ungeübte oder ängstliche Fahrer.

Das Hotel entspricht dem ausgezeichneten Standard einer Motel One Kette, weil es stilvoll und sauber ist. Das Frühstück ist ergiebig und das Gebäude beeindruckt mit einer weitblickenden Skybar. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Umgebung ist sehr gut mit dem ÖPNV angebunden. Es gibt keinen Lärm.

Schöne Zimmer, Sehr gutes Frühstück

Der Aufenthalt war gut und das Frühstück war wirklich lecker. Beim Check-In musste ich allerdings Informationen über das Frühstück selbst erfragen und generell wurde ich dort recht schnell abgefertigt ohne groß Infos. Die Betten sind bequem, allerdings war es sehr warm im Zimmer und die Klimaanlage warwohl schon abgeschalten und es kam nur noch warme Luft. Das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war sehr gut.

Geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Hotel in der Nähe des Englischen Gartens und der Allianz Arena mit einer super Rooftop-Bar. Das Frühstücksbuffet hätte grösser sein können.

Der Check in hat ganze 2 std Wartezeit in Anspruch genommen aufgrund von Konzerten .

Zimmer etwas klein aber für einen Kurztripp vollkommen ausreichend. Wir waren zum Adele Konzert da und sind mit dem Auto innerhalb von 10-15 Minuten überall hingekommen. Die Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Modernes Hotel mit allem, was man für eine Übernachtung benötigt. Sauber und ruhig. Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Frühstück zu stressig

Frühstücksbuffet ist nicht für die Masse ausgerichtet. Eine Theke und lange Schlangen. Ständen alles vergriffen und zu wenig Plätze. Auch fehlen Parkplätze. Ich bin generell oft und gerne bei Motel One. So eine Situation hatte ich noch nie.

Sehr sauber, praktisch und komfortabel eingerichtet, freundlich, effizient. Tolle Dachterrasse mit Bar! Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel leider etwas umständlich zu erreichen.

Wie immer gut! Nur die Zimmerpreise waren zu dieser Zeit höher als normal.

Check in problemlos. Zubuchung der Tiefgarage kein Problem, aber wenn diese schon voll ist und für dein Auto kein Platz mehr ist schon unverschämt. Man musste wie in Einkaufszentrum hoffen, dass irgendwann vielleicht jemand rausfährt. Im Hotel kann das aber dauern. Schlechte Organisation. Sehr enttäuschend die Sauberkeit im Zimmer Bad, insbesondere Toilette schmutzig. Dusche lief Wasser nicht ab. Zimmer total verstaubt und umgeputzt. Kennen wir so nicht. Schade!!

Zimmer war zu stark beheizt. Es gab keine Möglichkeit die Temperatur zu regeln, auch das Personal konnte nicht weiterhelfen.

Moderne og flott

Moderne og flott hotell svært sentralt om man reiser i jobb og skal besøke et av firmaene som ligger nært inntil. Mangler arbeidspult på rommet, det trekker litt ned. Flotte og romslige felles oppholdsområder som gjør det fint å sitte der og jobbe. Begrenset utvalg i barmenyen dersom man ønsker seg lunsj - det er langt til nærmeste restaurant.

Typisch Motel One, klappt alles. Natürlich kleine Zimmer, aber dies weiß man ja auch vorher schon. Sehr netter Service, egal, ob am Empfang oder beim Frühstück. Weiter so.

Die Dachterrasse war sehr schön. Beim Frühstück haben mir warme Speisen gefehlt und regionale Produkte wie z.b. Weißwurst . Ansonsten gutes Frühstück.

Super hjælpsom reception også med spørgsmål om hvad man kunne finde i nær området. Hotellet ligger godt for BMW Welt og museum og OL Anlæg. Morgenmad er god og alsidig. Værelset vi havde var lille, udfordrende med to kuffert.
