Great stay in Stockholm

We had a great stay overall. The room and bathroom was spacious, bed was larger than other hotels and bathroom as well, we also had a mini fridge in our room. You have access to a kitchen during your stay, kitchen is well equipped and has lots of storage for food. Breakfast was included as well which was a great bonus for us. The hotel is close to the metro and buses, supermarkets, bars, etc. Also the hotel is a short walk from Stockholm old town. Definitely recommend the hostel.

Great price, great service

A very nice hostel close to the city center, metro and services. Breakfast was good but rather compact. The room was clean, beds were comfortable for the price and the staff was nice and helpful.

Cheap and good!

I stayed for three nights in this hostel and had an overall good experience. The room was with two beds, TV, refrigerator and bathroom. It got what I needed. The bed was sunken in the middle which is bad for the back. That bed would need to be replaced.

This is the first time that I have stayed here and everything was great. I liked the free daily breakfast and my room was lovely. I paid extra to have my own bathroom. There is plenty of dining options near to the hotel and a supermarket just across the road which was handy seen as I had my own fridge in my room and also use of the communal kitchen. I found out that the hop off hop on sightseeing bus runs nearby so I paid for a 72 hour one which included the boat. I went to the Vasa Museum, the Abba Museum and Stockholm City Hall which went passed on the sightseeing bus. I would stay here again the next time I visit Stockholm.

Weekend stay in quadruple room

It's incredible, but i came back to the same place 16 years later. Maybe it was named differently, but it still has a good vibe and it's not onlybused by young students, but also elderly people who stay there for short weekend trips. Nothing super spectacular, but comfortable, cozy and very close to main street and tram station that can take you everywhere in Stockholm. Breakfast is basic but enough to last until lunch. Friendly staff. It's not for everyone because of shared bathroom and toilet, but worked fine for our group of friends. Would surely recommend and would like to come back sooner than in 15 years 😅

Rummet var inte jätte rent, det var väldigt dammigt och väldigt slitet. Fanns inte mycket glutenfritt till frukost.

Nöjda efter en helg där!

Bra läge på Södermalm, nära till allt. Trång parkering fick inte ut bilen själv då den stog parkerad bakom stolpe vilket gjorde att man inte kunde nyttja bilen under helgen. Fräscha rum, god frukost som ingick i priset. Fräscht badrum tips ta med tofflor att duscha i så gör de upplevelsen av delat badrum mindre skrämmande

Only bad thing was the heat in the room . No AC the could lower the temprature .

You can stay in a better place for less or the same price. No A/C as advertised. Breakfast is a challenge ( not enough tables to fit the guests). I didn’t even try to have breakfast. Mold in the restroom. Noisy and hot!

Room was clean. Beds were comfy. Free breakfast was nice and the coffee machine was good. Communal areas are nice. Noisy at night, thin walls. Only two toilets. A group of girls kept locking the communal bathroom sp on several occasions we couldn’t use the showers, toilets or sinks in the night and morning. There is only one shared bathroom for all the rooms so them locking the door whilst brushing their teeth meant no one could shower or use the seperate toilet cubicles

Great stay at Mosebacke hostel! The room was pretty small, with some tiny wear and tear and I had to change rooms after first night due to some problems with the shower room - but everything was taken care of really nicely and overall, my stay was super pleasant! The staff were nice and breakfast was filling - and the location is perfect close to two tunnelbana stations. Thank you so much, will surely return!

Easy check in and check out. Room was very comfy and had a nice mini fridge and desk fan. No shampoo though which caught me off guard. Would stay again for sure.

The location was great and the host of the hostel were very friendly! They let us do a late checkout with no issues. We appreciate them working with us.

Stökigt o bökigt inte tyst efter kl 22 dåligt luft på rummet halkade i dusch snor halt på golvet när det är blött fel kakel på golv ingen halkskydd dåligt med wc strömkabel hänger fritt i luften provisoriska lösningar i våtrum till tvättmaskin!! Mycket Dåligt!!

This is a very priceworthy, nice and clean place that I have stayed several times before and been perfectly happy with. But this time I got bitten by bed bugs and the itch is terrible so I have to give a bad review. Sorry!

Toppen för priset och otroligt bra läge, nära till tcentral och gamla stan. Bekväma och rena sänger, eget badrum som var rent. Inget fönster, men det visste vi om. Tyvärr väldig dålig luft på rummen, då det inte fins fönster eller ac.

Bedroom had bad ventilation

Stayed in a windowless room. The air flow in the room was terrible. There was a small fan in the room which made it a bit more acceptable though

Shower was in stalls where there was no door to lock to the rest of the hostel, unless you wanted to lock the door to the entire bathroom area. Rooms didn't block any sounds at all, woke up several times thinking there were people walking in my room. They didn't block any smell either and since my room was bathroom adjacent this was very icky.

Vi har bott på Mosebacke hostel flera gånger och tycker att det är bra.Personalen är trevlig och prisena på rummen är bra. Bor gärna där när vi är på besök i Stockholm

Inget mysigt ställe att bo på. Frukosten var av den sämre slaget, blågröna ägg o torrt bröd. Gott kaffe. Väljer ett annat ställe nästa gång

Comfortable beds

Comfortable beds! Very dark room since without windows. And that was nice. Good enough breakfast, all what you need and it was nice with the two gentlemen’s that was around all time and overview it so nothing went missing. Nor scramble eggs and bacon of course but that works for me!

Okej vistelse men gått ner sig mycket sedan 2018 då jag var där senast. + Nära till mycket + Trevlig personal - Fanns hår i duschen och var inte bra städat på rummet. - frukosten hade inte mycket alternativ och inget för de som behöver laktosfritt eller glutenfritt.

My light near my bed didn’t work, so when I wanted to read in bed I had to use the main light and then get up out of bed to turn the light off

Reasonable cheap hotel

An overall basic experience. I was on a business trip, so no more was necessary. The room was decent enough, and the breakfast as well. Overall fine for the price.

Smack in center affordable stay

Very priceworthy stay. Rooms are small and no windows, but a fan was supplied and worked well. It’s simple/basic but location is anazing and breakfast was quite good! Double rooms with bathroom or triple rooms without (in hallway). Very comfortable beds and pillows! If you are not fussy, and want a good price, this is for you! (Cleaning could have bern a little better in room, only comment..)

Mosebacke Hostel is a fine place for a short solo stay in Stockholm. Room was fairly clean and breakfast was an added plus.

Cozy and great location

I had a small room (about 8x8) with a bathrooms and shower. The ceiling is quite high (above 10ft). It was clean and cozy, exactly what I expected. I could however hear my neighbors (TV, talking, etc.) A light sleeper would not appreciate. In the evening, I would have to run the hot water for a good 5 mins before getting hot water. The sheets, toilet and floors were clean. The ceiling could be dusted. The breakfast was great! Good and fresh selection. The kitchen and sitting area are amazing. The lady at the front desk is super nice!!! The wifi was quite good, better than the one at my home that's for sure. But the best is the location. Near subway (slussen) in the heart of Sodermalm (restaurants, stores, coffee shops etc).

Budget hostel

A very basic hostel with friendly staff. The room had no window (indicated in booking process). The private bathroom was spacious as it also aided for the use of disabled person. The bed sheets looked clean. The pillows were not so comfortable.The choice for breakfast was limited, no change on the three consecutive days.

The staff was very helpful. They even got my elderly father a cane!

It was good for low budjet hostel but very small without windows so ...if you pay 20-25€ it's reasonable price to quality

One night at Mosebacke

We got to the Hostel to check in and the reception couldnt find our booking so he had to look around for about 10 minutes and i think he allocated us to a room, probably not the actual booked one. We got to check in early without charge which was suprisingly good! The room itself was very small but doable for what it is and the price. Location at Mosebacke is very good and central to walk to wherever you need to go! I am a Stockholmer but live in UK so was home visiting with my partner so we stayed here the last night of the trip. I know myself around and Stockholm on 5 fingers but for others who doesnt this is great located! The room was very noicy, you can hear anything that moves outside and above. At one moment in the middle of the night we thought there is someone inside the room, very spooky and surreal! Might be haunted, room 25 basement level. Breakfast was alright, sandwiches, juice, coffee, cheeses and different hams, also yoghurt and cerials. There was a few pastries as desert but they went quickly without anyone filling it up! Overall it was worth the price and quite comfy bed!

It was ok

This place was ok. It's not your typical hostel that has free guided tours, pub crawls, etc. And that's perfectly fine. But for me, out just didn't have that cool hostel vibe. It was comfortable. Breakfast was really nice, and staff were friendly. I personally wouldn't stay here again, but that's just me. It's actually a nice, safe place that's clean and tidy. There are bars, cafes and restaurants all within walking distance, and a a metro station that can take you to the city in a couple of minutes.

Decent location- but run down. Wouldn't stay there again.

Good Location! Perfect!!

Hotel location is PERFECT! It's easy to go anywhere on foot. If you like drinking coffee, you can find STARBUCK and TULLY CAFE in the corner. There is a lot of restaurants near by the hotel. I am so safe to stay in this hotel. Especially, I was travelling alone. Please stay in this hotel when you visit STOCKHOLM

Perfect for what we needed

Convenient and affordable

Well positioned near transit and central Sodermalm. I was able to check in early and quickly. My room was exactly as advertised with a double bed and ensuite restroom. Everything was very clean. Windows would have been nice, but that's to be expected with a more budget hostel experience.

Good hostel in Stockholm

Great hostel! Quiet street with a beautiful church close by and the shopping streets 3 blocks away. 2 stops away from main central station and easy enough to get to. Very helpful and friendly staff. Quiet rooms with common bathrooms. Good breakfast that was included. Tea/coffee available later in the day with no extra charge. Would definitely stay here again! Good value for Stockholm

Great location in upcoming new area, close walk to everything. Room was basic but fine, breakfast was also good each day. Shared bathrooms were below average. Showers were open, no doors or curtains in male bathroom.

Not what we paid for.

Arrived to drop bags off so we could walk around Stockholm, they threw them in a cupboard that was not locked, bearing in mind we were camping and had very expensive equipment as well as expensive camera equipment on us. Was not welcoming at all. Came back to be shown our room, lady was not talkative and very abrupt. Room was clean, but had two huge holes in the ceiling from Building work, and a huge pipe running through the room. The shower tool 5 minutes to heat up, then scolded me after being in it no longer than 2 minutes. It flooded the bathroom floor, and soaked everything as the shower head was blocked, then when turning off the shower head fell out and smashed my boyfriend in the head. When we eventually were fed up, we went to talk to the lady, she was not understanding at all and just put us in a different room, nothing else was done or said. The hotel was clean, and the breakfast was nice, but definitely not what we paid for.

Basic hostel, not terrible, but some issues

The Mosebacke hostel was OK. The price was reasonable for Stockholm, and it's in a nice area with good shopping and restaurants. The hostel itself had some good points. The breakfast was good. The wifi worked reasonably well. The rooms were rather small, but that is to be expected. We had to use the shared bath, again as expected. The bathroom was not as clean as it might have been, and my husband complained that the men's room had a sewage smell to it. A big problem was that the hostel was rather noisy. We shared a double room that was under the stairway to the upstairs. Whenever anybody walked up or down the stairs, or in the hallway outside our room, we could hear their footsteps. If we hadn’t been so tired from our transatlantic flight, it would have made it very hard to sleep. Also, although there were two of us, they only had one key to the room, so we had to coordinate schedules more than we would have liked to.

Happy times in Stockholm

We had a good time, the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was ample . Most of the rooms don't have windows which at first seemed a little uncomfortable but we got used to it , the mens bathroom was a bit cold too.

Prettiest hostel!

It was the prettiest hostel I´ve ever been to. Beautiful deco. Very nice and helpfull staff. Only minus was that the rooms downstairs didn´t have windowns so by night it got pitch black. Also the wifi didn´t work downstairs. The are "södermalm" was full of nice restaurants, cafees and shops. Only 20 minute walk to the centre or just a few minutes with the tube.

Good location, but I wouldn't go back

This popular hostel in a lively neighbourhood in Stockholm seems a good choice at first sight. However, after staying here for three nights we found that the rooms are very noisy, the breakfast is too expensive for what you'll get, the staff is inexperienced and the bathrooms are designed very clumsy (about twelve showers...and only two sinks ?!) I wouldn't recommend this hostel to fellow travellers.

Väldigt skön säng med varmt täcke och bra kudde. God och innehållsrik frukost. Så oerhört prisvärt. Litet minus för enbart takdusch, jobbigt att stå på händer för att skölja intima kroppsdelar.

Godtagbart budgethotell på Söder, nära stan.

+ Bra läge, nära till stan. God frukost och smidig incheckning även efter stängning. - Litet rum, otrevlig odör i badrummet (rum 36 - sannolikt på problem med vattenlåset). Tämligen obegripligt att man bara kunde förvara sitt bagage fram till kl. 17 på utcheckningsdagen trots att receptionen var öppen till 21. Sumla summarum: Ok hotell med en del förbättringsområden, dock med bra läge och vettiga priser.

Mer som hotell

Hosteln var mer som ett hotell. Lagom stort, mycket trevlig personal, frukosten hade det som man äter hemma och lite till, rummet var inte stort och utan fönster men helt ok. Ventilationen låter men inte för mycket.

Helt ok rum, trots utan fönster och slitet. Rent och TV vilket var bra. Det gemensamma badrummet/toalett skulle kunna ses över flera ggr under dagen. Stopp i toalett och handfat. Kanske behöver renoveras. Fö bra service och trevlig personal. Bra frukost.

Helt ok sängar, rum, frukost och renlighet för priset men ljudnivån på ventilationen var väldigt hög. Ta med öronproppar om ni vill sova.

Extremt lyhört

Extremt lyhört. Då trägolven i korridoren ovanför både dunsar och knarrar och det var spring i dem halva natten (toaletterna ligger längst ner i korridoren) var det omöjligt att sova. Kanske bättre på högre våningarna, men på nedersta plan var det rent löjligt.

駅、観光地、スーパーマーケットにも歩いて行け、便利な立地でした。設備も清潔でした。洗濯機、乾燥機が一つしかなく、使うことができませんでした。 朝食は種類も豊富で大満足でした。

Bra enkelt boende, bra frukost. På det hela prisvärt!

Vanligt hostel, trevligt och i centrum. Men någon kompressor som går igång varje timme så omöjligt att sova bra. Mitt rum var även utanför duscharna och lät otroligt mycket. Så be om ett annat rum om du får rum 34. Outhärdligt!

Helt okej, men mycket oväsen

Rummen var dåligt ljudisolerade, värst var de ovan för mig hade party/ommöblering mitt i natten. Fick dessutom ett rum med stort avloppsrör i så lätt en del när spolades vatten på övervåningarna. Kylskåpet väsnades en del med.

Inte världens bästa start vid incheckning. Jag fick nyckel och rumsnummer. När jag gick in såg jag att det redan bodde en gäst där. Stängde direkt och gick tillbaka till receptionen. Oj hoppsan, bara, och så fick jag en annan nyckel och ett annat rum. Kändes inte seriöst. Väldigt nedgånget och slitet, högljudd ventilation på rummet (som ju iofs därmed var välventilertat), tv:n funkade inte. Var inställd på att det skulle vara enkel standard pga lågt pris, men ändå...en spegel, kanske ett litet bord, nånstans att hänga kläderna...? Delad toalett och dusch funkade ok men skulle också behöva fräschas upp och städas oftare. Frukosten var enkel men fullt tillräcklig. Bra läge med bara en kort promenad från tunnelbanestation Slussen.

Good price for 1 night (included breakfast 👍). Close to Medborgarplatsen.

You get a place to sleep -thats it!

Dirty rooms (cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and nasty stains on the wall) Paperthin walls -you can hear everything from the room next door -even follow conversation. Very noisy ventilation -constant noise also at night. Questional standard of hygiene in the kitchen. Eat the breakfast at your own risk!!! Will not return and do not recommend

Fint ophold. Super beliggenhed i byen. God morgenmad og service og mulighed for selv at lave mad.Men der er for få toiletter og håndvaske på hostel, til så mange mennesker.

Var ett billigt hostel med perfekt läge på Söder. Bra frukost fullt tillräcklig, stund att inte bullarna var nya var morgon. Minus var att hotellet var väldigt lyhört, allting hördes, svårt att sova s på natten

Allt var bra utom ett jättehögt fläktljud i rummet som störde sömnen.

En Torsdagsnatt

Ofräscha toaletter och handfat! För många som ska dela i samma korridor. Det var aldrig tyst på hela natten. Folk pratade högt i korridoren precis hela natten. Detta var en vardags att, men det var värre liv än på en party kryssning med Cinderella båten. -Frukosten var mysig och fräsch!

Rent rum, skön säng. Delad toalett och badrum, men alltid tomt och väldigt rent och fint. God frukost inkluderad.
