The location is walking distance away from the Old Town. It only takes a few minutes by foot.

All was good except I'd have like to have a cleaning of my room after 2 days. And there were noises my last night. Except that all was good as every time, I recommend for the quality price rate 🙂 near of everything and of course the old town and the Main street. 15-20min walk from the station gdansk glowny and 10min by scooter.

BEST quality/price rate, near the centrum and the Main street,staff friendly,there was no noise,I have been upgraded to a 3 beds room instead of 2 beds room what a pleasure! I didn't use the kitchen but there is one. The bathroom and toilet are clean. I will come back to this hostel if I come back to Gdansk.

Nice hostel. Be mindful, there is no 24hr reception. To get through the gates after hours you need a gate code. Also need another code to collect the key from the locker. You need to call the number provided. Overall safe and nice.

Everything was great

Needs new mattresses

The bed was awful. It was so soft with no support and you could feel the springs through it. I couldn't sleep on my side as I would start to roll of the bed due to the amount of wear it had. Seriously need some new mattresses. We were in room 14 and throughout the night would be woken up by the outside door loudly slamming shut. Again, need to fix the door. The cleanliness was just about ok. There was mold on the shower head and dust in the corners/edges. There was also a red stain on the bed. Kitchen was clean and practical. Didn't really interact with the staff. Self check in was good.

Follow the moon

The hostel is perfect for a few nights in gdansk! We had a private room with 3 bunk beds and a private bathroom, also used the communal shower room and was clean and tidy! There is a kitchen and a lounge/games room downstairs. The kitchen offers free cornflakes and coffee and tea and has space to store and cook food too!

Highly not recommended, terrible check in experience, it took me more than half hour to check in. The staffs basically is not speaking English at all. the bathroom loads of sxxx!

Very good choice overall!

The hostel is a very good choice overall. Very well positioned and good value for money. The rooms are basic but functional. The only thing one needs to pay attention is that the while hotels.com says "24-hour front desk", this is not the case. I arrived in the night and while the hotel was open there was no one at the reception. Yet there was an emergency number and the person that picked it up was very helpful and guided me over the phone to my room. I still suggest to communicate your arrival time to the hotel beforehand.

Great option for a bed and shower

Great bed and shower. No frills, but cheap and perfect as a place to get some sleep and take shower. Would recommend it for the price for people who do not plan on spending much time in the hotel annd just need somewhere to sleep!

Good hostel!

Perfect location in Old City. Single room enough for single occupation. Small shower cubicle. The worst thing was the people did a smoking room in front of room's window and you can only smell cigarretes.

The mattress was dirty but they put a clean sheet on top, the pillows were terrible you couldn't sleep on them and the pillow case had strains. They offer facilities as kitchen and luggage storage which is good

Location...location!

LOCATION WAS GREAT! Shared bathroom were only 2 per floor but we didnt have a lot of problems. Very noisey area. But overall was good for the money as location was good. Nice to have tea n water available was a nice touch.

Very good budget hotel / hostel. In a very good location and easy to walk to everything. Good value for money. If you are looking for a no-frills hotel to just sleep in, then this is an ideal choice.

Perfect for Short stay

We arrived in Gdansk at 2am so the 24 hour reception was very useful for us. The staff were friendly for the duration of our short 2 night stay. The hotel is located within a 2-3 minute walk of the main area. The only minor issue is the beds were very small but for 2 nights it wasn't a problem. If I ended up in Gdansk again with friends I think we would stay here.

booked this hostel as it was right on the edge of the old town . Arrived in the early hours 02-00 to gain entry you have to use a intercom type bell , the only problem was I dont know Polish and that what you got when reply came back {push gate }took me couple mins to understand . When got the front desk the young girl was helpful and very nice , showed me to my room and said good night . In the morning when I was more myself and checking out the room{private bathroom with shower} , was very pleased to say the least , for a hostel it was more like a travel inn room {without a kettle }. the room was clean and tidy . With being on the edge of the old town no shortage of place to and drink , food shop just about 200 yrd away to which was very handy . the wifi was funny after about 8/9 pm the wifi would come and go . I was reasonable quiet . For the price you pay cant complain in my view Well worth a try ,

Great budget stay

Ideal budget option in a great location. Hostel is very clean, rooms are spotless and very good service. Only problem is the lack of air con or a fan as the room was very warm even with the window open all the time.

Mediocre Hostel

My sister and I stayed at Moon Hostel. The staff was friendly and the check in went smoothly. The room was just ok. I did not like that it had carpeted floors, because that always feels gross at a hostel, since so many people stay there often. It is better to have hard floors of some type so that one can disinfect them after each person's stay. That way it is easier to maintain a clean and hygienic space for everyone. The bathrooms were not so clean, because there was no way to keep the water off of the floors after many people showered. But all of these things are still ok with me. The only real complaint I have is that the internet was very poor. It had a weak signal when we first arrived in the afternoon, and by night with so many people on the bandwidth, we were unable to connect at all. I asked for the router to be reset, but the staff said no.

Is nice place, quiet, clean, I almost didnt ask anything to the receptionist so i dont know how is her at explaining the city or recomendations. Installations are good, cleaning good, rooms and hostel are warm :)) you can drink some coffee and tea for free at the kitchen what helps Kitchen well equiped.

Ostello semplice ma pulito, economico e ottimo per passare la notte senza spendere troppo.

網路幾乎收不到訊號，不過這點應該可以很容易有所改善。 另外住宿的學生旅客不太懂青旅禮節，吵到很晚，摔門又超大聲。但這跟旅舍沒關係，單純教養問題。 免費的咖啡和牛奶麥片，打掃很用心，廚房也很乾淨。這個價格可以住到獨立雅房還有窗戶真的很棒!

Tolle Lage, einfaches gutes Zimmer

Die Lage des Hostels ist spitze. Der Eingang ist hintenrum und muss ein bisschen gesucht werden. Unser Zimmer war im EG, für den Hund super. Es war recht hellhörig und einige Gäste kamen erst in den frühen Morgenstunden zurück. Der Türöffner mit Code funktionierte nicht gut, sodass die Gäste die raus wollten, den Gästen, die reinwollten halfen.

Cheap but very good stay

To this pricepoint, this hostel excited my expection. Everythibg was in order. Ofc not a 5 star hotel, but i didnt pay for that. Clean beddings, clean bathroom, tv in the room. The other guests respected the curfew, so it was a good night sleep both nights. Would recomend.

Solide Unterkunft m. fairem Preis in der Stadt

Bis auf ein paar kleine Makel bei Sauberkeit der Bäder und Komfort der Betten insgesamt eine gute Unterkunft mitten in der Stadt mit kurzen Wegen zu Restaurants, Bars, Clubs und weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Personal vor Ort war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Parken war für polnische Verhältnisse etwas teuer - wer also auch mit dem eigenen Auto aus Danzig raus möchte, soll dies mit einplanen.

You get what you pay for

The mattress was terrible, hardly anyting left in the middle, and the sheet was not big enough so about 20cm of the mattress was not covered (disgusting). Not very clean in the shared bathroom, but the room was ok. The check in was not pleasant, the girl was not helpful or told us anything, I had to go back twice for towels. But the location was just terrific, so close to everything. And the price was very low, so I guess we got what we paid for.

The receptive structure is old and poorly maintained. The cleanliness leaves muchr to be desidered (for example the carpet has many worrisome spots). The reception staff doesn't even provide essential information (such as that regarding the gate opening code). Excellent price, excellent location, but the management policy of this hostel needs to be totally revised.

The bed was soft, way too soft, like extra too soft. So if you have back issues… Location is excellent. Staff was helpfull. Unfortunatly smoking place was just outside entrance. So of course all the smoke came to corridors and rooms. Still, 2023: people smoke just outside the house. Weather was warm so also room was warm. But keeping the window open helped. Overall, good location, nice staff, good price.

Nice place to have your stay in Gdanzk… affordable and clean, nice staff on the desk… We choose a room with a private bathroom.

Behagligt krypin

Fastnade för priset. Lyhörd och trevlig personal, tillmötesgående vid en kraftigt försenad incheckning. Stabil golvmonterad toalett (stort plus!) och en fullkomligt fenomenal säng. Det var mycket svårt att ta sig ut sängen på morgonen, det är ett som är säkert. Läget är perfekt med behagligt promenadavstånd till allt.

Kurzaufenthalt

Für einen kurzen Besuch in der Stadt ausreichend. Die Lage ist sehr gut, Parkplatz war kurzfristig noch vorhanden. Abstriche muss beim Schlafkomfort machen. Eventuell bei der Nachtruhe, falls laute Heranwachsende im Flur den abendlichen Abstecher in die Stadt planen. Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach, spart einem aber Zeit, falls man nicht auswärts frühstücken möchte. Möglichkeiten dafür gibt es aber genug.

Extremt prisvärt Hostel för kompisgäng.

En otroligt prisvärd vistelse! Vi var ett kompisgäng på 6 personer och betalade 100kr var per natt. Rummet var rymligt och sängarna var över förväntan. Det ända jag kan klaga på är att det var väldigt lyhört, men ingen störde sig på att det var festlig stämning dygnet runt, då de flesta andra även festade på det! Gillar du att parta och vill bo billigt så passar detta Hostel perfekt!

Провели одну ночь. Сняли номер на 4 человека с общим санузлом. Соответствие цены и качества. Из плюсов - расположен в Старом городе, до ЖД вокзала 20 минут пешком. Номер на мансарде, чистый, свободный, мебель не потрёпанная. Рядом большой супермаркет, аптеки. Чистое белье. Широкие и удобные кровати. Есть кухня с чаем, кофе и сахаром и бытовой техникой. Из минусов - хостел заблокировал деньги на карте, а потом ещё и списал оплату. Хотя я администратору показывала в телефоне списанную сумму. Банк сказал, блокировка снимется автоматом через месяц. Нет звукоизоляции, для 1 ночи нормально, а вот дальше не знаю. Приехали в 12 ночи, заранее об этом писала, администратора ждали 30 минут.

Rapport qualité prix très bien Très bien situé en centre ville

Жили в двухместном номере с ванной на первом этаже (№11), окна выходят во внутренний двор. Комнатка маленькая, достаточно чистая. Дверь в ванную комнату не закрывается на замок. В ванной нет вытяжки. На рецепции спрашивают нужны ли полотенца и выдают бесплатно по 1 шт на чел. Потолки в номере высоченные, следовательно и окна тоже, но открывается на проветривание только одна часть окна и, условно говоря, до половины. Кондиционера нет. Ночью под окнами курили и болтали жители хостела, что не очень способствовало сну :) тут просто не повезло... Расположение отличное, в шаговой доступности центр старого города.
