Our family and friends had a wonderful time. Love this place. Very clean and convenient. Not far from the airport, a lot of attractions are closed by. Definitely recommended

Beautiful place

This was a second time we have stayed in Montownia. I love the exterior, interior and food court downstairs.

Christmas market visit

The hotel was immaculate and model with a ubique hostiry and architural design. The foor hall downstairs was modern and offered a rabge of diverse cuisines with friendly staff. The old town with access to the christmas market was an easy 10 walk from the hotwl. The only downside was that on night two we had a young family move in next door and because of the design of the rooms noise resonated loudly into our room and discturbed our sleep.

Great stay

Fabulous hotel in a beautifully done historical conversion close to museums and a short walk to cadets town centre. Very comfortable rooms and delightful staff. The food hall on the ground floor was always busy and didn't disturb at all.

Unique building and the rooms are furnished to a high standard. Only one clean for a weeks stay, which never happened and we weren’t told we had to ask, apart from that minor gripe, the place was fab… it’s definitely not a hotel, it’s just self catering small suites and rooms. The food court is very good and well priced. Surprisingly no noise from the entertainment at the weekend. Gdańsk is such a hub for food, the old town and museums, as well as Sopot and further afield. It also has significant historical interest.

Montownia

Montownia was a fantastic place to stay. Fairly central to the old town. The apartments were clean and spacious. Having the foodhall in the hotel was great too. I would recommend staying here.

The foodcourt at the hotell was just perfect!! The room just perfect, everything was good!!

Exceeded our expectations. Super spacious and clean. Staff are wonderful and friendly. The atmosphere is great. The breakfast at Green Egg was fantastic and fresh. Definitely make sure to include breakfast. Can highly recommend this property as one of the best we have stayed in.

Fantastic

What a gem of a find; this property is amazing. It's only a short walk out of the city centre, located on the docks and has retained many of it's historical features. Formerly a submarine factory, this accommodation now boosts brilliant features and has a vibrant food hall, with cuisines from around the world on the ground floor (note it shuts at 10pm, but worth checking if a band is playing). The rooms are well equipped and you can't hear anything from the food court. There's a supermarket opposite if you want to get some provisions too, so the kitchenette is very welcomed. The 10-15 min walk to the river bars/restaurants is lovely, full of little residential areas, parks, bridges and public art. It really is a gem which I would love to return to.

Highly recommend

Great stay in a fantastic hotel. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and super quiet considering the food hall is downstairs! The food hall is also amazing and a must try, multiple times because theres so much choice and its all lovely! Its well located so you can walk to all the attractions as well, WW2 museum is 10 minutes walk and old town only 15 minutes

we had a really good stay at Montownia, apartments are well located and the food hall and bars downstairs are great. Would definately return.

Fantastisk leilighetshotell med gode senger og alt er veldig nytt og fint. Genialt med en svær mathall i første etasje. Kommer definitivt igjen!!

Fantastiskt fint hotell

En upplevelse att bo här. Snygga rum, häftigt att ha 5 meters takhöjd. Kul att se hur man bevarat den gamla fabriksmiljön från förr så fint. Bekväma rum, tyst och väldigt sköna sängar. Hjälpsam personal och hotellet ligger på promenadavstånd från gamla stan. Mycket trevligt att kunna välja att äta från de olika restaurangerna i food hall på bottenplan. Ett tips är att inte boka frukost i förväg. Går utmärkt att bara gå ner till restaurangen som serverar frukost och köpa exakt det man vill ha istället för att välja flera rätter för att fylla upp till det man betalat för i förväg.

Amazing

Fantastiskt. Kändes som om det färdigställdes igår. Rummet var enormt med säkert 6 m takhöjd. är mer som en studio, vi hade t om diskmaskin. Mycket cool inredning med omsorg om detaljer. Frukosten intas på restaurang och du får välja vilka rätter eller smörgåsar du vill upp till en viss summa. Vi var jättenöjda med att slippa gå runt och plocka och istället få en vacker och välsmakande frukost av hög kvalitet. Food court i bottenvåningen har säkert 30 olika restauranger, men glastaket där gör att hotellet är helt tyst. 10 minuters promenad till Stora torget. Ett kvarter från station och knutpunkt för bussar och spårvagn. Jag vill rekommendera detta till alla.

Weekend i Gdansk

Trevligt hotell, bra läge ca 15 minuters promenad från gamla stan och julmarknad. Härligt med alla restauranger i närheten. Trevligt bemötande från personalen. Rent rum med allt man behöver.

Boende i en klass för sig..

Ett väldigt fint hotell med eget kök i varje rum. Trevlig o tillmötesgående personal, vi kom kl.11:00 o de var inga problem att checka in tidigare, när vi åkte hem fick vi ha kvar rummet tills de var dax att åka kl.18:00 för 100PLN. Det finns ca 25 restauranger på markplan så man behövde inte gå långt för att äta. De är ca 1km till Gamla stan och 1km till Julmarknaden.

Fantastisk hotell. Precis när vi kom för att checka in berättar personalen vid disken att de uppgraderat vårt rum utan någon kostnad. VILKET rum, aldrig varit på en lyxigare hotell. Vi är så nöjda med hotellet och kan verkligen rekommendera den.

Danzig Aufenthalt in aussergewöhnlicher Location

Die Location ist außergewöhnlich ( ehemalige U-Boothalle),das Loft ebenso ! Die integrierte großzügige Food Hall mit reichhaltigem Angebot spektakulär! Sehr zentral zur City! Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Man muss wissen dass eine Zwischenreinigung nur auf Anfrage stattfindet und kostenpflichtig ist, Handtücher/ WC Papier werden auf Wunsch gewechselt/ aufgefüllt. Des Weiteren fehlte im Vorfeld die Information dass das Frühstück in der Food Hall bei einem Schnellrestaurant stattfindet. Das typisch polnische Frühstück ( ca. 15 Menüs) muss man mögen, sehr fett/ süß/ eierlastig…. Es hatte eher einen Mensakarakter, teilweise lange Wartezeit bei der Bestellung und sehr laut. Fazit… das Loft jederzeit wieder, Frühstück eher im Zimmer da Kitchenette vorhanden

Super spændende og dejlige lejligheder m street Food i underetagen- og udeområder . Tæt på seværdigheder og i gå afstand til centrum .

Allt perfekt!

Otroligt helt nytt hotell och stor lägenhet med kök (som jag dock inte använde). Relativt nära centralstationen dit bussen från flygplatsen anländer och avgår. Sedan en promenad på ca 15 min till hotellet. Trevligt och nytt område som hotellet ligger i och ca 15 min till gamla stan. Kommer bo här igen om det blir ytterligare en resa till Gdansk för mig.

Es war alles einwandfrei, ausser das Personal an der Rezeption war leider ziemlich unwissend und desinteressiert. Die Lage und die Lofts sind TOP!

Lovely stay in Gdansk

Two friends and I stayed in this hotel some days in June this year. It is a lovely hotel in a calm and quiet part of the city. The food hall on the first floor was a delightful experience! The breakfast at the Green Egg was delicious and we also had dinner at the Ukrainian restaurant in the food hall. It was a pleasant stay from check-in to check-out.

I was at the hotel 6 hours prior to check-in just to check the place out and got to check in really early. The room/apartment was really cosy and tidy. The staff are really friendly and helpful but there were some confusion regarding the breakfast initially that got sorted out after asking a few times. The breakfast is served in a restaurant in the food hall downstairs until 3 pm(!). There is a buffet but you can also choose to order from a breakfast menu for 70 zloty per adult or 50 zloty per child. I recommend doing this, the breakfast was outstanding. All in all, the place has a great location with walking distance to Old Town etc. The atmosphere is lovely with the food hall downstairs. If ever in Gdansk again i will stay here!

Great place to stay with family or with group of friends. Everything walking distance

Highly recommended when in Gdansk!

Amazing hotel with big spacious rooms with high ceilings. You almost feel you are in New York! Very good A la carte Breakfast in the Food Hall in the first floor of the building. Which also is worth staying at the hotel for. This Food Hall have everything you need with good quality! Very close walking distance to the center also.

Et gjennomgående flott hotel/leilighet med høy standard, fantastiske detaljer. Rolig strøk, enkelt og greit å ta seg inn til byen og severdigheter. Kult med mathall vegg i vegg. Anbefales!

Great apartment near old town

Wonderful apartments, stylish in industrial design. We loved the apartment and it was only a short walk from the old town. The bottom floor houses a cool foodcourt with a good bar and some great food!

Unikt sted oplevelses- og historiemæssigt

Unikt sted. Ombygget ubåds værftsbygning fra 2. Verdenskrig, som er lavet til store moderne hotellejligheder. Stueetagen er lavet til streetfood og der er lydisolerende glastag mellem spise/ Streetfood og de øvrige højere liggende lejlighedsetager. Dvs. man se fra gangarealet ud for lejlighederne ned til streetfood og den leben der er uden at blive generet af støj mv. ligger virkelig godt i forhold til centrum og museer mv.

Fantastisk leilighetshotell

Det er 2. året på rad vi overnatter her. Beliggenheten til overnattingsstedet og standarden på leilighetene er veldig bra. Unik atmosfære. Personalet er veldig hyggelige. I år var mathallen, med mange ulike og gode mattilbud, tilgjengelig. Kort og godt et fantastisk sted. Vi skal booke opphold neste år også. Leilighetshotellet anbefales på det sterkeste 😊

Very nice lofts. Downstairs with lots of restaurants is just priceless.

Very nice hotel, just one year old when we visited. Nice and helpful staff and gorgeous rooms. It's located very close to Gdansk city and we are so pleased with our four night stay. We could check in early, end also they extended our last day so that we could keep the room an extra hour to time out cab ride to the airport. Would definitely visit again!

Fin leilighet for vår familie med 2 voksne og 3 barn. Enkelt kjøkken med det mest nødvendige. Fint å kunne spise frokost på rommet, da frokosten i restauranten var i dyreste laget.

Very nice and clean room. Good internet and everything works in general. Food court with big selection of foods and great atmosphere in the same building. Excellent service from Wiktoria in the reception, she's very service minded, helpful and efficient. I highly recommend Montownia.
