The staff was extremely helpful. The hotel and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable.
Good hotel
The property is really nice. Breakfast roof top facility was excellent. Good selection and delicious food.
Perfectly situated! Amazing staff…friendly, helpful, accommodating, and professional. Front dest was always ready to assist. Rooftop bar was relaxing with perfect cocktails in the evening…Sheriton is top notch! I really lucked out choosing this hotel and would recommend it to anyone wanting a convenient, yet not too touristy, location.
This is a great hotel that is close to a lot of major attractions in Rome. Lots of restaurants around and excellent transportation options. Very attentive staff and excellent breakfast options
.
Excellent location, comfortable room and gorgeous rooftop bar
Nad
This property and staff exceeded expectations. Aside from the expected services: (clean room, safe environment, all the amenities that should be considered standard) we found that the staff went above in taking the time to assist in any capacity of making our time in Florence a wonderful experience. One of the best restaurants of our trip was next door. The location was amazing, and the room was cool to our satisfaction. Loved the stay!!
Great hotel
it was ok. nothing special ...good for bad. though the breakfast was pretty crappy. I swear the OJ was Sunny D
The communication prior to our arrival and after our departure was excellent. The hotel staff are professional and courteous. Our room was excellent. A/C was terrific. The rooftop bar and breakfast were wonderful too.
Awesome hotel.
Good location. Nice staff. Clean. But room was super small.
Very nice hotel. Front desk staff were very helpful. Great location. Close to the the train station and the colosseum.
Not sure how this hotel has the ratings it does, feel I can normally trust Expedia ratings as a silver status member. This place is very overpriced; and a bit run down/dirty. Room also smelled bad. Online pictures are deceiving and this is the only place I regret staying on my entire two week trip through Italy. The only decent area was the rooftop bar, however the drinks were $20 each, place is far from nice enough to justify. Also note the area is on the edge of a rougher side of town away from center tourist areas.
Great Hotel!!!
We had an awesome stay at the Monti Palace hotel...thisis our 5th time staying here. The Monti Palace is centrally located to many sites of interest, restaurants, and stores.
Clean hotel, nice staff - we choose here to be out of the ZTL for our car and close to the colosseum.
Very friendly staff. Let us check in early which was great after a long flight.
I enjoyed our stay at Monti Palace. It was our first time to Rome, and we only stayed here one night but it exceeded all expectations. Firstly it is located in a great spot. Super close to coliseum and Roman forums. Easily walkable to many of the other attractions in the city center. Many good food options close. Directly across from a metro station. Staff was very friendly and spoke multiple languages including English well and was very helpful. Our room was upgraded to a suite and the balcony was very nice with a beautiful view of the sunset over the city. The rooftop bar was very nice and served delicious drinks in the evening and a great breakfast. Overall was very pleased and would stay here again.
Good condition of the room, except a little dark. Breakfast is good
This was classified as a 4 star hotel, but it was a 3 star hotel at best. Definitely not worth the 300.00 a night I paid for it. Actually feel scammed. The bathroom was nice but the bedroom was old and dated. Room had old carpet, so pics of hotel are misleading. Also, no aircon due to “Italy regulations” (I had aircon in Florence), so room was tremendously hot. We had to switch rooms hoping for a room away from direct sun. They will provide a fan if you ask. Location was nice, if you can look past cost and room. Plenty to see with Coliseum only a few blocks away. Plenty of dining options as well. Overall, I would not stay here again. This was one of 3 stops for us, and the other rooms were at least 75.00 less and beautiful in contrast…so there are better out there.
Everything about the Monti Palace is Superb. Fantastic Hotel and Staff - Cannot recommend highly enough. Will definitely return!
We stayed for 7 nights and we enjoyed the room as it was spacious and in good condition with a view of the street below. The windows can be unsafe for small children so be aware of that. The window opens wide, on hinges making it unsafe for children for both windows, one is in the bathroom. We kept both windows open for the air. The A/C is not controllable from the room (not turned on yet) so it was stuffy and too warm to keep the windows closed at night but the room did cool off well. However it is a noisy street with loud cars through the night and young people on the street. The loudest night by far was Friday night. Location is a benefit as the Roman forum and Colosseum are about a 10 min walk. The Cavour metro station is across the street. There is a convenience store down the street but I didn't see any grocery stores, there may be some on Via Cavour as you go towards the Colosseum. There is one elevator that works well but can get busy at times. The breakfast is on the rooftop bar with a nice terrace to look out at the city. The food is just about enough with bread selection, cheese, yogurt, cold meat cuts, some fruit and vegetables and coffee. The scrambled eggs were usually cold and service was busy but not overly warm. They don't get conversational (ask about your day or morning) nor do the front desk staff. Probably a language barrier, hopefully. The highlight is the view, natural light from the windows and adequate breakfast.
I would definitely stay here again for my next trip to Rome. The hotel room was clean, the room right size for 3 ppl, and breakfast was good. Bathroom was large. The hotel is centrally located to all the sites to walk to. There are plenty of delicious restaurants near by.
Property was clean, receptionist was helpful l! The location was amazing, tons of small shops and restaurants. Would stay here again.
Excellent room with big bathroom and to the front at couvur metro station. Nice breakfast. Faltó únicamente frutas.
Close to the tourist attractions, quiet room and good breakfast
Definitely not a 4 star hotel . Bath tub was unsafe and clogged while taking a shower . Tub walls are high, need to be careful when stepping out .same breakfast every day . Close to main attractions in Rome .
Fantastic staff and great property.
Customer service was excellent. The location of this hotel makes it easy to find good food and bars at any time of the day.
Not cheap but high quality hotel
Very nice hotel, close to the colloseum, lovely roof terrace, paid a lot but was really good for the price
Breakfast in the morning was very good, rooms were very clean but smaller than most single bed rooms I had elsewhere. Rooftop bar was nice but patio was not very large but has decent view of Piazza Venezia and forum in the distance. Before you take a shower be sure to take notice that the show foot towel is in shower and may not be easy to see before you turn on water.
We stayed here one night. The breakfast options were great. They had plenty of variety. The beds were comfortable. It was walking distance to almost anything, restaurants, shopping, tour buses, attractions. The only down side was the wifi didnt work well in certain areas of our room. We stayed on the 4th floor. The front desk was very friendly and accomodating.
Convenient location near Roma Termini, Collosseum, and restaurants. Comfortable rooms, great breakfast and helpful staff.
Very Nice Hotel. Located at really near of Coliseum and surrounded by plenty of restaurants. The staff was really helpfull. I was able to schedule a pick up from the a airport with them and also they took us to the cruise ship terminal. Alexandro at the front desk was very helpfull.
No problem with the hotel, but be careful with the pick pockets in the area of Rome
Loction was excellent, 10 min walk to the Colesium. Hotel was located in a safe area. I would reccomend that the hotel serves coffee and drinks in their lounge area. It's nice to have the option to grab a coffee or a drink in the downstairs area. Roof top bar area is beautiful, however need to reserve time to enjoy and the prices are expensive. Would also reccomend that the hotel provides more than 2 English speaking chanels in the bedrooms, or provides an option to log into Netflix etc.
This property was well appointed. We particularly enjoyed the daily breakfast that was available and the rooftop bar happy hour. The hotel met our needs in every way and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend.
The staff were very kind and helpful
Great hotel and location with friendly staff and amenities, very close to Cavour metro station. Only thing that lets it down is attention to the small things like the kettle lid was broken and the filter on the spa bath kept coming off and was dirty inside. All minor things otherwise very good hotel.
Such a beautiful lobby at check in. Room is gorgeous- wood floor in room is spectacular. Bathroom is amazing and views from the room are wonderful.
Good location and surrounded by restaurants.
Great hotel with a great location.
This property is very close to the Coliseum and walkable to many other sites as well. No complaints about anything...we're happy we chose to stay here.
Cool spot. Very close to subway station. Staff was super friendly, cool room. Nice bed. Good breakfast.
Loved the location so close to colosseum and in easy walking distance of so many sights. The area behind the hotel held lots of lovely small restaurants and bars. Although we didn’t use the metro that was just a very short walk. Check in was excellent and very helpful. No complaints very happy!
Everyone at the place was helpful and friendly!
Average at best-
The room was lovely the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Staff was helpful and walking distance to Collisum
The hotel is in the middle of major tourist spots in Rome. Very accessible, close to a subway station. My room is fully furnished and modern looking. Rooftop bar is great.
Loved Monti Palace! Very close to a metro station. Friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast buffet (especially because it is complementary) with a coffee machine that made lattes and cappuccinos. It is on a Main Street so if you are sensitive to noise I recommend bringing earplugs or something but the location price staff our way that small problem.
The staff was very helpful. The rooms were very confortable.
The hotel appears very small from the outside and because of the graphiti in the area, appears to be in a bad area. That is. it the truth. It is a very nice, clean and quiet hotel. We loved how it was centrally located!
Great staff! The roof top bar is excellent. The rooms are updated and clean and quiet.
Had a lovely time here. Stayed just one night because of travel plans but would have stayed longer!
Great staff. Nice place. However to have breakfast only from 7.30am is too late…
The front desk was more than helpful. The hotel is another story. The drain was broken in the shower, the electric socket by the bed was coming out of the wall, the refrigerator was broken. Free breakfast was ok.
Great location!
Italy for 10 year wedding anniversary
We had a wonderful upgrade and staff were helpful. We also enjoyed the rooftop terrace.
Great hotel in general. Great location, staff was extremely accommodating. Very clean place. Love it
Monti Hotel is near the Roma Termini (13 mins walking) and the arquelogical area and Colosseum. Also, the Cavour metro station. Staff very nice, especially the staff of the restaurant (terraza). Restaurants and shopping area around hotel. It is safe, clean, and my room was satisfactory for my 4 nights. I can return again in the future.
Very nice and comfortable rooms. Excellent location, very close to many attractions and lots of great food and drink.
Staff are great and helpful
Quasi bene...
Struttura un po' datata e con camere piccole. Personale di servizio molto gentile, ma non c'e servizio di ristorazione.
Nice clean area. Some ice restaurants near by.
Not a 4 star hotel.
The room and te bed was really dirty.
Great location, excellent service, comfortable bed and nice linens. Covid protocol was excellent. Only complaint is the coffee. They need a real Italian espresso machine!
A great find! Staff is great, walking distance to everything you want to see, and very close to the restaurants on Via Urbana. I like the shower so much I will really miss it when I go home!
Location was perfect for our needs. Room and bath were lovely and marble. Bath lacked counter space which was annoying. Breakfast was fantastic and service excellent. Front desk helpful. Bellman service not great. 6 (?) stairs at entrance not appreciated by this older lady.
Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. My only suggestion is to keep the terrace open during the day. Maybe build a closed cabinet for the liquor area so the terrace cam be open unattended. There are not many places where to relax in the hotel except your room, this will add a big plus to an already good hotel
Location and comfort.....
Friendly staff, clean and huge room
Convinient location
The hotel is centrally located and easy quick walk to train station or sightleeing (Colosseum, Forums, etc.). The only gripe i have is soynd isolation - couls not sleep the entire night as neighboring room people were packing, moving furniture around, etc. Was Very hearable!!
No internet working, had to pay in cash, it never worked while we stayed
Excellent Location
Our 5 day stay at Monti Palace was perfect.
One of the reasons we chose the Monti Palace was for the rooftop terrace and it did not disappoint. It was a quaint atmosphere and the views were enjoyable. Our room was comfortable with an exceptionally spacious and modern bathroom. Every staff member we had contact with was helpful and gracious. In fact, we arrived at the hotel earlier than expected and asked to take advantage of their luggage storage but they offered to let us check in early instead. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
Staff was great. Location was great. Clean. Great rooftop bar. A/C did not get cool enough.
The breakfast was good. We were checked in 1 hour early. Very friendly staff(especially Max). Rooftop terrace was particularly nice.
Unhappy with air conditioner in room- sweaty sleep
For the amount of money I paid for 8 days - I hope I can get a discount/refund for some of it. It was really hot & the air conditioner NEVER worked properly. We contacted the front desk & someone came over and it still NEVER worked properly. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary so we decided to not be in the room as much due to the heat, unfortunately we missed out on breakfast most days since the heat of the room woke us up at night.
Really good
Supernice. Super professional staff @ lobby. Good breakfast and routines during covid times. Beds are good. We had really good stay. Walking distance to all places
the service was very nice. When checking they did an excellent job of showing us a map and the things we could see and do. Made site seeing very simple and easy
Beautiful room, very spacious. Clean sizable bathroom as well. We were given a free room upgrade and it did not disappoint. Windows looked right over the street yet it was very quiet when they were closed. Breakfast on the rooftop was delicious. Staff was lovely. Will definitely come back!
The hotel is well situated with a laundry and a few restaurant really close. The colosseum is really close too. The room was ok, a bit dark. We were on on the second floor and we could feel / hear the subway but not to a point that it was an issue. The staff was friendly, the breakfast selection was good, it on the rooftop but the heat was so high that we all heat inside rather than the terrace so I can't comment on the view.
The rooftop terrace was beautiful and the room was very nice
Location Loved, Size Loved. This was one of our favorites all week besides Villa Laura in Positano. The staff was excellent, helpful holding luggage, Gym that my son used, Location easy to get to Colosseum area in 5 min, the size of the room 1 bd and 2 twins worked out awesome for the teens and rooftop deck was fun but very expensive $25 for a manhattan. The breakfast takes a bit since it's not buffet.
This was a really great hotel. Very clean and the staff were very friendly. It's very conveniently located near Termini, Colloseum and a Metro station. There is a supermarket just opposite the hotel which is very convenient as well. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant except just for breakfast at the rooftop, but that's ok since it's so centrally located there are so many things around it.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
We liked the breakfast. Service was very quick and friendly. My husband was a little disappointed with the coffee. We liked how the family room was laid out, twin beds on either side of our king sized bed. My kids don’t like sharing a bed or pull out couch. For European standards we thought it was a good sized room and bathroom. There was a mini fridge too I could hear/feel the metro run under us, but I was the only one in our family that was bothered by this. We were on the first floor. It might not have been as bad on higher floors. I didn’t notice it at all on the rooftop bar where breakfast was served. The location was great, although not a beautiful view. Metro, grocery, laundry very close. Coliseum and Termini only 10min or 15min walk. Plenty of restaurants nearby too. Vintage shopping around the corner, if you are into that. We thought it was an excellent hotel for the price.
Love this hotel. Great location close to everything with lots of dining options in walking distance. Wonderful staff. Very nice breakfast was included with our stay. The rooftop bar was a great place to start our evenings in Rome. We stayed there twice during out trip in two different room types and both rooms were beautifully appointed, clean and comfortable, and private.
Thank you the upgrade to the Presidential Suite, we loved it! We are coming back after our stay in Positano. Grazie mille! Also. The rooftop bar is incredible!
Our room was upgraded to a wonderful room with a patio. They have a gym which was easily booked to get a workout in between all the pizza and pasta eaten during the trip. Additionally, the rooftop breakfast was a fantastic and easy option during our stay.
Perfect location- Walkable to most must see places
We stayed 5 nights in a triple room on the 4th-floor end of June 2021. The room is of a decent size, beds and pillows very comfortable- and the bathroom was also a good size and spotlessly clean. We liked the blackout curtain, silent AC, and of course above all the perfect location. Walkable to most must-see tourist spots and accessible by metro at almost the door-front. Plenty of cafes and restaurants by going down the stairs leading to the metro station. The only slight drawback was the limited choices for breakfast - due to Covid - we had to fill in a form selecting among a limited number of items and as we stayed 5 nights it became too repetitive. Very helpful staff at the reception but except from booking a taxi, we did not need much help as quite central and easy to go around. Very easy to go to the Main train station either on foot or by Metro (1stop) but we took a taxi which costed 10 Euros (3 people and 3 pieces of luggage). All in all highly recommend
Good stay, rooms are very clean
Very convenient for both work and leisure. Excellent restaurants in the neighborhood, recommended by the concierge. Breakfast on the terrace simple but adequate and a marvelous view over Rome’s roofs. Drinks before dinner likewise.
Overall, this was a very pleasant hotel at which I spent 3 nights in August 2020. Very new and conveniently located, the staff were incredibly welcoming, pleasant and professional. I stayed in a single room. It was quite small but very comfortable and spotlessly clean! The location was brilliant. Minutes from Termini and close to many of Rome's most important sights. One small yet preventable downside for me was the breakfast. This is not entirely the fault of the hotel since they need to abide by new regulations which mean table service. The breakfast location, whilst a beautiful room, was very small to deal with the traffic. The weekday times of 7 to 9 are too short in my view and this further caused congestion. Some customers skipped the waiting area and the staff were so busy that they didn't get to notice nor control this. I waited for almost 30 minutes on my second morning and like the morning before, there were some items missing from my breakfast (as selected). The absence of any warm options like scrambled eggs was a bit unfortunate. Given my experience on the first two mornings, I skipped breakfast on my final day. The above seems like I was quite disappointed but overall, this is not the case. There are a couple of things that can be improved at breakfast time but overall this hotel was a pleasure to stay in. I would return and recommend it to others too.
Great hotel. Recommended.
Great hotel. Fantastic location for sight-seeing.
It was an excellent hotel very clean, friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast available in the morning was excellent too a wide range of choice and all freshly made.

Nice place
