Very Friendly Host

Very nice place. Great views.

Laurie was the most gracious host! We so enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this b and b! Breakfast was delicious and Laurie went out of her way to Make certain all of our needs were met!!

What a wonderful place to stay. Lori made me feel right at home and really went above and beyond to welcome me to Campbell River. You could not ask for a better experience as a traveler. If you need a place to stay in the area, look no further.

The owner, Lorrie Murphy, makes you feel at home the minute you arrive! Makes you feel like family! Very helpful, friendly, and is never too busy for us! I strongly recommend this B & B!

LOVELY STAY!

We loved our stay and look forward to returning again. Lori our hostess was very accomodating and friendly. Room was well appointed. Comfy bed. Ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was good as well.

Was a great one night stay before we departed for a kayak trip. Comfortable and cozy, the towels were super fluffy and huge which was amazing. Lorrie welcomed us but also gave us space. She gave us a great breakfast in the morning and we enjoyed talking about traveling. Was a bit warm in the room though the fan really helped (and it was July during a particularly hot period so only so much you can do!). Thanks again!

Lovely host, very welcoming. Quiet comfortable room. Good central location. We would certainly return.

Close walking into town. Great food and service from the hosts. You can also chill on the back porch and watch sunset.

Great and helpful hosts

awesome host...just two small things...1. there was no a/c and it was hot. 2.the hosts partner sat amongst us rather than having privacy within our group

Best B&B ever! AMAZING!

Money Pennies is the epitome of a 5-Star B & B. Our hosts were beyond gracious, even from before we even got there & let them know we were going to be a tad bit late for check-in.. just from that phone call interaction, I knew we would be arriving for a pleasant & joyous experience. When we arrived, Lorrie showed us around, gave us everything we needed, & was very informative in her approach with how we could expect our stay to go. She asked us what we wanted for breakfast, specifically asked if there was any allergies, & made sure she was set up for any special request regarding what we ate in the morning. Oh ya, her & Wendy also have little dogs who are amazing, entertaining, & friendly, & they also added to our experience in such a positive manner. The place was in immaculate condition, our room was beautiful, had an ocean view & all the necessities, & the place is located in a accessible part of town. Of course, our breakfast was delicious. We had everything we needed there, truly. On top of all that, what I really liked the most: It was the camaraderie we had with Lorrie & Wendy. As a small business owner myself, I understand the importance of building a relationship with your customers & clients, and they were genuine, very friendly & accommodating - we felt very welcome & comfortable there. People like them make things in life so much better - I can't say enough. We stayed there 2 months ago & I regret not leaving this review earlier. THANK YOU so much! A must stay!

What a fantastic experience. A beautiful home, great room and good food. But the hosts were what really made this place. We had such a great time and can't wait to find an excuse to go back.

Excellent stay we were sorry we had only booked one night instead of two

Had a great stay. Very accommodating to whatever we needed. Would definitely rate it as a great place to stay. We will add it to our list if “return to’s”. 😀

Showed up at 0230hrs on the 13th & left very early in the morning. Have to bring earplugs next time as it was far too loud too early in the morning..

Just a one night stop over having arrived on the BC Ferry it was great a spacious room very comfortable we had a lovely peaceful nights sleep. Bathroom toiletries good and thoroughly enjoyed a lovely soak in the bath in the morning. Great views from the balcony. We didn’t try the restaurant but the menu looked extensive

A really comfortable night with friendly and very helpful hostesses. Such a delight to be welcomed into their home. Breakfast was excellent - freshly cooked and plentiful. Highly recommended.

Lovely hosts, spacious room, delicious breakfast

Delicious freshly cooked breakfast, lovely hosts, spacious room with ensuite bathroom. Everything was nice & clean. We were glad of the tea & coffee-making facilities and the (quiet) fridge. Lots of restaurants down the hill. Campbell River is a nice area with lots of great wildlife watching options.

It was incredibly clean and comfortable and Michelle and Laurie were so nice.

Simply wonderful. Run by two super nice ladies who work hard to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. They picked us up, dropped us off at 5am and all with a smile. Room is amazingly kept, clean as a farmacy and well equipped. I’ll come back next time I’m in town.

Well maintained B&B

My husband and I enjoyed staying in this well maintained B&B. Our hosts were very friendly, provided us with information and scrumptious breakfasts. They went out of their way to accommodate my special dietary needs. Easy to recommend.

A perfect place! Beautiful accommodations and the friendliest people. Breakfast was the icing on the cake. I will be back.

Hospitable hosts!

The women who run this spot are great fun. They have a couple of friendly dogs. The rooms have an amazing view of the harbor. We were able to walk downtown in about 10 minutes. Breakfast was a big spread. We had a great time and would stay here again without hesitation!

Great B&B

Great couple run this place and were very welcoming after a ling drive. The breakfast of pancake with blueberries was great (along with the fresh fruit). Thoroughly recommended.

Icing on the Cake

The B&B was part of what made our vacation memorable - delicious food and friendly hostess a bonus. Appreciated the use of the deck outside to end the day with a beautiful sunset.

B&B Campbell River

Great location -- close to downtown Campbell River and amenities such as restaurants, stores, etc. Really enjoyed the hospitality of our hosts. They were very helpful in terms of providing suggestions of places to visit. The room was comfortable but was a bit of a squeeze with three people (2 adults and one child) -- best for two.Nice and hearty breakfast.

It was great! That's all I can say. Just great. The dogs were delightful

Homely atmosphere

Very friendly owners who have a lot of local knowledge. One of the other guests wanted to go fishing and was lent a rod etc. They used to run a bistro so there is a cooked breakfast and they even cure their own bacon. There is a conservatory available for guests and they are keen on everyone getting together at the end of the day. There are only two guest rooms. Both are upstairs which might be an issue for some but they are neither steep nor very long. Their is no air conditioning but there was a room fan which was adequate while we were there. The location was easy to find and is not far from the centre by car. An enjoyable stay.

Uphill walk from bus to get to this lovely place. Found out later that owner would have picked us up if we requested it. Nice place nice owners
