Good place to stay. Beautiful view outside. Lambs walk outside of the room as well, just say hi to them, they are cute! There are only a little supermarket nearby, but you can cook at the place. They even have airfryer, so it even easier to cook haha

Cabin stay

Lovely cabin stay. Area was lovely and cabin was clean with a modern/rustic feel. Communication with the host was excellent. Visited various caves in the area and great access to Cradle Mountain National Park.

The cabins (at least on the outside) are a little tired. But they are very spacious, and very well equipped. Also very clean. There was 1 item we couldn't locate, but the owner was very quick to respond. The view across the valley to the tiers is wonderful. The bed was very comfortable. The parking is a little tight close to the cabins (plenty further away) but the 3 large vehicles managed ok, just need to be conscious to park as courteously as possible.

Danni who cleaned the room was a kindred spirit. Positive attitude. Assisting with any questions we asked about the tourist attractions, fuel and food requirements. Rooms were clean well equipped kitchen. The only problem with our cabin was the amount of stairs leading up to the cabin, but that was a personal problem not theirs. Great views.

Well maintained, beautifully appointed property with fully equipped kitchen, clean beds & bathroom. Clean sheets with headed mattress, clean towels, perfectly working TV, press, hair dryer, blow heater, air conditioner etc. Great view, quiet and beautiful property.

The Tassie sanctuary is right next door! Location is not far from some Tassie Tasting trail attractions. Most importantly it is an hour’s drive to Cradle Mt. The cabin is well equipped and very comfy.

Beautiful cosy little cottage. Close to the caves. Wonderful cooking utensils. Very warm cottage with heater turned on for our arrival. The ability to do our washing and drying for a very small cost. Beautiful hot shower and just over all a wonderful two nights was spent here.

Absolutely adored this property. So much so, we changed our plans and stayed another night. Fantastic location, great view, plenty to do nearby, the hosts were very friendly, everything was extremely keen and very very quiet. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely loved my 2 night stay here. It was comfortable and clean. Only two concerns I had were 1) the parking especially when people from the next door cabin blocked me in & I had to wait until they left to get out of my parking spot AND 2) I would have loved a wood fire to keep the chill at bay (this is just a personal preference - the place was great, but a log fire would have made it awesome!!) Would definitely stay here again. 5 stars guys.

Loved the country atmosphere, found plenty to do close by. Cabin was clean, had everything in it we needed. Only thing was the heating set on 20 was quite cool.

Such a great location with stunning rural views. Our cabin was spacious and clean and it had everything we needed for a two night stay. Great base to explore the next door animal sanctuary and local walking tracks ( a little over an hour to Cradle Mountain )

The unit was clean and has everything we needed. It had good views, games, Wifi, etc. I didn't like that the bins were a bit far from the Unit.

Our cabin was modern, clean and bright. Kitchen was well equipped for our needs. Loved the view from the kitchen window and front porch. Remesh was very quick to respond to our queries. Will definitely recommend to our friends travelling in that area.

The cabins are very cozy and warm. The view from the front is stunning and it's a great location as a base for Cradle Mountain. Rachel and Ramesh are great hosts and very helpful.

Very beautiful setting, it was great for the kids to have a separate bedroom and a small bath in the shower. Overall a comfortable stay and reasonably priced.

View was lovely, place was clean, shower was hot, and bed was comfy. Town is welcoming, too. Traffic noise did interrupt the serenity during the day, but stopped at night. The cabins were all full, and we could hear the people in their bed through the partition wall of our cabin. The only disappointment was the lack of breakfast (Air BN - B?). A bit of cereal or bread for toast isn’t too hard.

This was a beautiful farm house overlooking green pastures with cows that came to visit each evening. It was the serenity we needed at the end of a long trip through Tasmania. Extremely well appointed with a massive kitchen, lovely living area with fireplace and very comfortable bedrooms. The surrounding environment is beautifully landscaped with a herb garden & outdoor fire pit overlooking the paddocks. We hope to visit this beautiful property again.

View was great. Well equiped. Fire pit nuce touch. Not far from township. Exit onto main road heading west was a bit hairy!!

We stayed in farmhouse it was excellent with great amenities. Have no negatives and would highly recommend. So much to do in area.

We stayed two nights in a great cabin with all that we could need. Plenty of space, warm, comfortable and conveniently located to the caves, Trowunna sanctuary and other local attractions. Would recommend.

The property had everything we needed, cosy and comfortable. Loads of quality attractions and cafes nearby too. Hosts were great at communication. Fire was lit for us pre-arrival, a nice touch.

Mole Creek Cabins is a warm, cosy place to stay. We stayed in the Panoromic Mountain View Cabin. A chopping board would be useful in this cabin. A few minor repairs needed - the light switch near the DVDs did not work. Neither did the DVD player. Loose tiles in the bathroom. Restful location.

Had a great view from the balcony and a decent shower. While the kitchen had a microwave and a convection plate so you could self cater the pans need an upgrade (old and everything stuck). You can also hear the people in the next door cabin (luckily they woke and slept at similar times to us). Close to some great walks. Easy check in using a lock box.

Wonderful and clean cabin with all the kitchen supplies you need. Down the road is a convenient store. Love the fact you can see sheep and hear them over the window. The mountain view is amazing. Perfect way to rewind after long day in cradle mountain. Highly recommend to anyone who comes to Mole creek!

The cabin served our purpose exceptionally well. The view was great, the place quiet, and so many great walks close by. Ramesh was always available if we had any issues, was a joy to talk with. The only problem we had, initially, was wifi access - and that was resolved by moving the wifi extender to a better location. Deloraine, where there are great little shops, a large grocery, a vibrant art scene, and an excellent information centre, was a short drive away, We happily recommend Mole Creek Cabins to anyone thinking of visiting the area, including the Marakoopa Caves, Sheffield, Trowunna Devil Centre, Cradle Mountain, or any of the bushwalkers nearby.

Nice cabins simple but had all you need, nice new bathroom, lovely view lots of local wildlife.

Mole Creek Cabins are a beautiful place. We arrived on a rainy evening and woke up to lots of nature around us, the sound of sheep, goats and chickens. We also saw kangaroos visiting the place in the evening. The unit itself was cozy and beautiful. The kitchen was ok, the bed was comfortable and everything as in the advertisement. Happy to come back anytime!

The property is located in a nature friendly environment adjacent to a wildlife park and within striking distance of the Cradle Mountain National Park and magnificent 450 m year old limestone caves in Mole Creek. The property looks over a serene landscape and is the perfect circuit breaker for people who ordinarily reside in the city. The owner Ramesh visited in person to ensure that we were comfortable.

Really beautiful, quaint cabins to stay in. Beds were very firm which I find uncomfortable (in saying that my husband loved them). We had sheen outside our window and access to laundry facilities which was great. Would stay in again, but I would bring my own pillow topper.

The cabins were quiet, cosy and clean. The host was quick to sort any queries we had in a prompt manner. The beds are quite firm but warm with lots of pillows. The kitchen was well equipped and clean. It's also close to many other towns such as Sheffield, Deloraine and Cradle Mountain. Would highly recommend.

The cabins were clean, tidy and comfortable and the hosts very welcoming. The views from the cabins was delightful, however the outward appearance was disappointing. The cabins looked old and jaded and the gardens were poorly maintained and car parking was less than ideal. As an older couple we found access via narrow stone steps difficult. Cooking facilities were basic and old and although there was supposed to be BBQ facilities available there were none.

Our 2 bedroom cabin was lovely. Had everything we needed. Very clean & tidy.

Was a nice place to stay with a excellent outlook over the country side. Was so quiet and peaceful except for the rooster waking us at 4am!

Overall disappointing. Tiny cabin for 4 people without any place to store luggage. Dishes, pots and pans were not clean. Location was nothing special, 20 min drive to the next store or to get coffee. Wake-up by rooster at 4:15am both mornings.

The panoramic view from the family room is fantastic. Room & Bed linens are clean. Can hear the morning wake up call from roosters, birds and sheeps. It is situated next to Trowunna wildlife santuary, and only 16minutes drive to Marakoopa cave. Manager and staff are friendly. Wonderful place to stay.

Clean cabins with stunning views

The cabin had everything we needed and the view was stunning! A great location near Launceston and not far from the Cradle Mountain. We would definitely stay here again.

The cabins are clean, updated, and very comfortable. The location of the property is beautiful and perfect for that country farmland feel. The owners are lovely and happy to help in any way.

Non-existent WiFi

There is no one easily available to answer questions or help with travel suggestions, The ad said they have WiFi and they claim it is just slow BUT the network doesn’t even come up as a selection and if it did, I couldn’t connect. A booster would help. They do have a gas grill but it’s at their house instead of right by the cabins. The walls are pretty thin as we heard our neighbors TV at midnight.

Loved it

We were only staying one night but felt instantly comfortable and decided to stay two nights. The location was great, the view was fabulous and the cabin was quiet and comfortable. Thank you for your hospitality. We visited the Mole Creek Caves and had a great morning there.

We were not impressed with the foliage around the cabin, ideal for snakes as we seen two red belly black within 1km of cabin.

Our Mole Creek cottage was in a great location for Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary. A clean and comfotrtable two bedroom cottage ideal for our stay with our teenage granddaughter, offering bedroom privacy for us all.

A hidden gem

A hidden gem. Extremely clean unit with small but wonderfully equipped kitchen. Lots to do in the area. Goats and sheep on property. WiFi slow, but adequate for our needs. Had great book with local attractions, a few books, and DVDs. I’d definitely return here. Only comment is that you need to buy groceries in a major city, local stores have nothing.
