Wonderful hotel! Select room type carefully

Service was amazing, and the small portion of the hotel we saw, was very nice and clean. Room was very spacious and had some nice little added touches. It was also extremely clean, which was wonderful! Just be aware of what type of room you book, because our window faced a wall that was only a few feet away. You could not see the sky or anything other than the wall. So if a view is important to you, make sure you book a room that offers that.

Happy Anniversary

Fantastic. We got to check in early, had a spa experience and even though we have stayed here before everyone is friendly and accommodating. We were here celebrating both our anniversary and Valentines Day and we highly recommend this hotel.

The moment we arrived at our hotel for our stay the front desk and velvet every single person that works there was very friendly. The rooms were very clean and cozy would definitely come back and recommend to others. We had a relaxing birthday getaway

Spa was nice

Another wonderful stay at the Mokara! The hotel is gorgeous, the staff are wonderful, and the amenities are amazing. I love the views from the rooftop pool and the peace and quiet of the spa whirlpool and sauna. Fantastic room service food, too. The only issue with this visit was getting conflicting info from the spa staff about the different services' features and costs. Other than that, it was a perfect visit. We hope to come back soon!

This is one of our favorite hotels anywhere! At Christmas the river view is awesome with the festive lights hung by the city making it wonderful Service is impeccable-it seems anyone you meet working there is proud to be a part of the Mokara family.

The hotel staff members were very welcoming, and professional. Our room was very clean, and nice.

Great location and amazing service

Great stay, do wish they would of explained the spa a bit more letting us know we could use anytime. We only utilized after we booked massage. Amazing massage highly recommend! Made it all about us as we had couple massage. Tuned into each of our needs . Pricey. Expected. Were snubbed at the restaurant. Felt like did not belong on more than one occasion. Beautiful building very well kept. Front desk were all very helpful. Although did not receive welcome gifts as promised at check in. The spa did send up champagne for our anniversary,after reminding a complimentary glass came with our package purchased. Rooms were small, but very clean, beds comfortable. Bathroom needed uplift, showing age, peeling wallpaper . Bath salts and wonderful extras for whirlpool tub jets were perfect and was very clean . Overall beautiful hotel attentive staff .

Was by far the best hotel on the Riverwalk. The cleanliness, the view, and everything was in walking distance. Will probably come back next month. It was awesome.

While waiting on our room, valet staff Ezlie was very engaging in conversation, maki g sure we were taken care of. Our breakfast waitress, Vanessa at the Ostra Restaurant made great accommodations with our breakfast, she was great. We did a couples massage, June and Frazah did an awesome job. So excellent that June put my husband to sleep, he thought 50 minutes was too long beforehand. Upon checkout, valet staff Edward was great with assistanting with our bags and making sure we had everything for our trip home. Loved the hotel

One of the nicest hotels we have stayed at. Staff was incredible and the stay was perfect from the moment you walk in.

Fantastic place with extra special service and staff. It’s noticeable when the entire staff is professionally friendly and seems proud of their work and the hotel.

Amazing staff. They made the stay so special for my grandchildren.

It was really great. Got in from driving, checked (very easy), got up to the room relaxed for a bit, then went to the spa and got massages. Wonderful visit!!!

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is the best.

Chris at the front desk was so kind and helpful. I got to check in earlier than expected, which really eased my mind since I could relax before heading out to my concert show (which I flew into San Antonio for). The room and tub are amazing! I would 100 percent stay here again and recommend to all.

This is definitely the best hotel on the Riverwalk downtown. Once you stay here you won’t go anywhere else. Front desk was very accommodating.

It was probably the best hotel i have ever stayed in. Every sense covid hotels have been subpar. It was our 8 year anniversary and they went above and beyond

I loved absolutely EVERYTHING about this property. The only thing is I wish they would occasionally skim the bugs out of the pool and jacuzzi.

Absolutely amazing hotel and super friendly staff. Beautiful hotel with great amenities to offer. Very nice gym and pool! First time in San Antonio and I’m so glad I’m chose Mokara hotel. My wife and I loved it and we can’t wait come back for another weekend getaway trip!

I would give this hotel 6 stars if I could. The rooms were absolutely fantastic, clean and spacious. The decor was classy and tasteful and I did not encounter a single staff member (including the Valets) who were anything less than pleasant, friendly and very helpful. Room service was prompt, curtious and the food was spectacular. If you like steak, order the ‘Hangar Steak’, you won’t be disappointed. Anytime I come back to San Antonio, it’s a no brainer as to where I will stay, it will be the Mokara!👍🙏

Top hotel!

Loved this hotel! Only stayed for one night for a business trip. Rooms are nice, beds comfortable, quiet, great bathroom and spa tub! Only had room service but it came in less than 25 minutes. Staff is lovely. Recently stayed at a Ritz Carlton and this was a way better experience!

Mokara is a custom and unique property. Staff is service driven and kind.

The service was awesome Chris greeted me at the door, the valets were great, and whenever we called they knew me by name

Staff, services, food, the room we were in was fantastic. My wife and i loved the tub in the room and we took advantage of the spa facilities and rooftop pool. Over all we had an awesome experience here and will definitely be back for another staycation.

We enjoyed the hotel and will be back. We loved its proximity to the riverwalk. We felt safe through, love their safety measures and precautions. Staff and service were exemplary. We were well cared for. Food was ok, but lots of restaurant options around. The wall paper was peeling a bit but all in all hotel felt cozy, warm and safe.

Exquisite service, perfect location, sumptuous spa. I couldn't be happier that I chose to stay here during my vacation.

Completely overpriced, will not be staying or recommending this hotel. No ice machines, have to request it and the restaurant gets annoyed when you call for ice. House keeping is a bit unreasonable, toilet paper was never stocked. I always had to request fresh glasses even though clearly there are dirty ones in my room that never got cleaned up. One drink for room service is gonna run you 20 buck ls with an automatic service fee plus a tip. Rooms are humid and the AC isn’t the best. Also they are “pet friendly” but there’s no area for dogs to go outside unless you want to take a mile walk on the river walk. Valet parking is 55 a night on top of what you are paying for an over priced room. Basically this hotel is not worth what they charge for it. I would recommend not staying here for a vacation in San Antonio unless you’re a millionaire

Great location on what I think is the best part of the Riverwalk

The property was amazing. The staff was excellent, especially Dan the valet. He was always smiling, attentive and had a great recommendations. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing stay with all of the amenities, best part was they read my requests prior to arriving and had my room ready when I arrived, plus had a proper tea delivered to my room before bed and in the morning people to departing.

This is the best hotel on the Riverwalk, hands down. We will be back!

Beautiful, if we come to visit San Antonio again we are staying here.

Beautiful little jewel right in the heart of the Riverwalk. It was an Oasis in the Texas heat. The staff were welcoming and the rooms were lush. The beds were super comfy and the turn down service was great. They left a plate of fruit. Minibar was stocked with Class A wines and liquor. This is going to be my go to when staying in San Antonio.

The Mokara is our top pick for hotels when we stay in San Antonio. The accommodations, staff and location never disappoint, and always have us looking forward to our next stay. The icing on the cake is the LARGE tub that fits two people and is always the perfect way to end or begin a day!
