Service from staff excellent, always eager to help

Nos encantó quedarnos en este hotel. Las personas que trabajan ahí eran muy amables y el desayuno estaba delicioso. Nos trataron muy bien todos los empleados de ahí pero el que se portó muy increíble con nosotros fue Rodrigo. Nos ayudó mucho y nos puso mucha atención y fue muy agradable. Y siempre tenía una sonrisa en su cara. Cualquier cosa que necesitábamos él estaba ahí para ayudarnos. También nos gustó todo lo del hotel porque era muy tranquilo y cerca de todo. Mi mamá y yo recomendamos este hotel.

Visited number of occasions, staff very helpful and friendly, room cleaned daily, pool area kept very clean

I liked that the property was a short driving distance from the Palma ferry port and also had a bus stop near the front door if you plan to take public transit around. The view from either side of the hotel was very nice; Garden/Sea view or a Mountian view. The beds were a bit hard for my liking but the bathrooms have been updated nicely.

I was slightly worried about our stay due to previous reviews but I needed have worried! Myself and my young son had a lovely stay! Everything was clean that I saw, our room was small, not ultra modern but I feel this is reflected in the price! Comfy clean beds, outstanding staff! Especially the fabulous bar man that went out of his way every day for us including bringing cold water for my son when he was all hot and bothered waiting for a taxi! 10-15min walk with a little person to the beach or to the bus stop to take you into Palma. One big annoying thing… I didn’t find the big supermarket until the last day! It’s on the main road directly under the hotel hill under a gym. Frustratingly I spent all week buying things from the tiny shops on the way to the beach most of the week! I have one tiny complaint … travelling alone with a young son exhausted from swimming every night it would have been nice to have had a tiny table on the balcony to use for the odd picnic supper! , our room only had 2 uncomfortable plastic chairs on the balcony. Overall .. highly recommended for a cheap stay near a beach, with a pool , fantastic breakfast & breakfast staff and the best barman in the world!!, 25 euros from the airport with a 25mins journey, but with a taxi booked through the hotel the return airport taxi trip was nearly 35 euros. We had a wonderful trip

Disappointed 😞

Receptionist on check in wasn't friendly. Room service conditions were not explained. One of the restaurant staff was very rude to me. I was surprised diner did not come with drinks even tap water wasn't provided. I was told I have to buy water and I wasn't allowed to bring my own water. This is ridiculous. This was something they were supposed to highlight to me during the booking and on point of check in. Also not many meal options provided. Room did not have a fridge under the heatwave. However room cleanining was on point. This is the only service l was happy with in the hotel.

I liked everything, except the lack of shops and restaurants close by as the hotel was on top of a hill. This, however, resulted in amazing views :)

Brilliant hotel

Absolutely wonderful stay at MLL Blue Bay Hotel. Stayed fir 3 nights bed and breakfast. Spotlessly clean, great pool area (which was also extremely clean), and great breakfast choices, something for everyone. Staff also very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return!

Wouldn’t let me cancel due to ill health so I had to pay for the booking, awaiting a response from the CAB. No empathy here, avoid booking, go with a hotel more sympathetic and empathetic which isn’t all about the money

Great Hotel

It was a lovely hotel, very friendly, it was November and cold outside but the hotel was lovely nice and warm, very comfortable, with great breakfast actually the breakfast was outstanding.

Good value for money

Given the price point, I felt that the hotel was comfortable and represented good value for money. There was a lack of information about breakfast and the restaurant, with the room not spotless, but the staff were very friendly. There was though a pervasive smell of cigarette smoke across the heating units which was pumped into the rooms.

Mallorca Trip

Trouble free stay, bus stop outside hotel, reasonable cab fares and buses. Good eateries nearby. However the property could do with a cosmetic upgrade throughout.

A nice place to stay.

It was a very nice hotel and the staff were brilliant. I would suggest a room with a sea view as this is lovely. We went half board and the choice of food was very good and the quality was fine. Public buses take about 35 minutes to get to Palma. There is a bus stop outside the hotel and another route stop at the bottom of the hill. A single trip costs €1.50 so very good value

Present

Palma and Sun 🌞 Good spot, despite initial thoughts, the store and restaurants in easy walking distance. Doors were a little thin could hear other hotel guests coming and going. WiFi was rather slow Good breakfast.

We spent 4 nights at MLL Blue Bay. The hotel has a convenient location, close to Palma, however parking is a bit of a hassle on the narrow streets as hotel parking is limited. When I inquired about parking places before our visit, the phone customer service was awful, they hung up the phone as they did not speak/understand English. Hotel staff on site was excellent though. The view from our room was amazing, breakfast was very nice too. I think the walls were extremely thin as we could hear everything from the surrounding rooms and from the corridor.

The views are outstanding. The bar staff and waiting staff were excellent and made you feel comfortable. Reception staff weren't the most approachable. We requested a high floor (as I'm sure many do) but only got the 2nd floor out of 8 floors. Asked at reception to be moved t a higher floor but was told it was not possible, twice. I doubted that. The air/con is pre-set by the hotel for seasonal heat or cooling so didn't cool our room at night when we needed it. Apart from those 2 issues, the rest of the stay was excellent. Food was 4 star standard and very enjoyable. Special mention to Carmen, she was an absolute soldier for MLL Blue Bay. I would hire her for my company if I could. If we could have cooled the room and received a higher floor as requested 3 separate occasions, I would have given maximum rating. Great value.

I stayed at MLL Blue Bay from 1-5 April 2019. I had a room on the fourth floor with a balcony and stunning sea view. The room was nice, with comfortable twin beds and plenty of storage to pack your clothes away. There was a TV but you have to ask at the reception for the remote. The bathroom was small, but had a large mirror, hair dryer, plug point, bath, toilet, and plenty of towels, shampoo, body wash and soap. The hotel WiFi is a little weak in places but it worked fine most of the time in my room. The walls are quite thin so you can hear people in others rooms and the corridor. The hotel has two outdoor pools. Signs were up saying pool closed, but there were people swimming in it. There are lots of sun loungers round the pool which is nice for relaxing. I had half board food. The buffet food was often cold / lukewarm, but there was a good selection of dishes. Drinks are included in the price at breakfast but for dinner you have to pay separately and there is no free tap water. The location of the hotel is perfect. There are good bus routes into town and the airport. However it’s a steep walk to the hotel so not good for those with mobility problems. Overall the hotel is a great stay for the price and I would recommend staying here.

Lovely short break away

Excellent hotel with really friendly and professional reception staff. Would certainly go again. Just a little note for people who haven't stayed there before... it's up quite a steep hill, but the no 46 bus from Palma drops you close by

I had a lovely 4 days holiday break at the Blue Bay and I will definitely come back there next time I will visit the island. The staff is super friendly from reception to restaurant, bar and house keeping. Room was very clean and very comfortable to. Food was delicious and a big variety of meals was well presented. Every night some events was on in the bar. Thank very much to the whole staff who make my days very lovely even if it was a bit raining.

Nice hotel walking distance to beach and shops

Clean and tidy overall. Food was a good variety at breakfast and evening. Free WiFi in public areas only. Situated at the top of a steep hill so not great for people with walking or breathing issues. Great views of the sea. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, recommending some great local cuisine.

Cheap and cheerful.

Cheap deal for 3 nights. On second floor but lovely sea view. Staff really friendly and helpful. Good variety for breakfast, hot and cold food. Hotel top of steep hill, hence the good view, but manageable. Bus €1.50 to Palma. Taxi €30 or bus €5 to airport. Would go again.

Decent hotel

Decent hotel with not so good beds as they are two single beds instead of one double and hence difficult for a couple. A lot of stairs to get to the hotel. The breakfast is decent for the price and the dinner is average.

Nice place quiet and near activities

First thing, the hotel is a middle to budget hotel at best. We got the room for a great price and got exactly what we expected. The staff seemed to be preoccupied with other things. The rooms were very nice but a little bit small. The beds were the worst part. Very very hard and flat pillows. TV gets only Spanish channels but that was ok. The grounds and pool were Hey well kept up and cleaned daily. Restaurant would be a pass. Cheap food and not very well served. Overall it was a good hotel but understand that it's a budget hotel and it's a good value for a budget

Nice hotel and pool, staff we great helpful and cheerful, we had half board, food was OK noting to rave about and as we found so many nice restaurants nearby and in Palmer town which is a 15min bus ride that we only had the breakfast most days, the hotel is up a hill so bit of a trip climbing the stairs but still only a few minutes to the main road , put this hotel and staff near the main road and id give it 9/10 ( maybe a new chef too although no one complained about the food) the clearers were lovely and the room was spotless. id give the 10/10. thanks for a nice relaxing week

Very good if you're able bodied

This hotel is not suitable for all. It stands on a steep slope and there are lots of steps to get to the swimming pool etc. There is a bus which comes up the hill which is good. We, however, are a moderately fit couple and enjoyed the walk to and from Palma city (about 4 miles each way). Getting to and from the hotel from the airport is cheap and easy (no's 1+3 buses). There are plenty of restaurants nearby if you want to eat out, however the food in the hotel was very good although the dining room was a little small for the number of guests. The rooms were good and the view of the harbour was great. We think the decor had been refreshed for this season but very tastefully. Overall a very comfortable and pleasant 4 days

Ok hotel

Ok hotel but service could have been a little better, there was very little information available about getting around the area using public transport etc, needs a bar by the pool!

The hotel staff where great ,they where very helpful.a bus stops just outside the hotel .which has a ramp for wheelchairs.we went in winter so we had no need to use the pool .which I would not of been able to do .due to the stairs .i had everything I needed for my stay and did not find any problems with anything .

Not as excpected

Overall room was clean & reasonable size for 3 star. beds comfortable, storage not bad, recommend own hangers taken. also travel kettle none in room. Food was awfull worst I have ever had. swat up on your spanish apart from reception staff the rest had no english. they were all very friendly & helpfull though.

Value for Money

Last stayed at this hotel a little over two years ago and my comments are much the same as last time. Solo traveller and given single room but with double bed which made room a little cramped. Room was a little more tired than last time and could do with a little TLC. All inclusive stay and food was satisfactory but would not have wanted perhaps to have stayed for two weeks! No real queues at either the lounge bar or pool bar but would have been nicer if beer was served in larger glasses (approx 250 ml glasses used). Pool area quite nice and never failed to get a sunbed. Hotel is up quite a steep hill (which means great sea views) and also many steps down to pool and perhaps therefore not suitable for for guests with reduced mobility.

Arrived late at night, put in a twin box room at back of hotel despite paying for double sea view. Staff said no sea view rooms available for first two nights. Paid for half board and food terrible, ended up eating away from hotel all the time. Pool and location good. Cleanliness of hotel landings, stairs, lifts very poor. Very dated hotel, would not recommend.

Palma de Mallorca

The room view was great , for the rest It wasn't so bad , first world problems ie: super small room with tiny not comfy beds. But Palma de Mallorca was great to visit.

Budget hotel

Hotel was clean and tidy, staff were helpful. Room was the size of a box and beds/pillows were like sleeping on lumpy wood. Hotel is located at the top of a hill which means to get to and from the town/beach you have to climb around 12 flights of stairs. During the day the run a shuttle bus service to and from the beach and specified times which is free. Pool was very nice, clean and tidy, great pool toilets however More stairs to get to and from it. We chose this hotel, room only, as it was very cheap and we were only here two nights- they apparently offer all inclusive stays as well

Nice hotel. Only stayed 2 nights. Upgraded to AI for 20 euros per day. Evening meal not as nice as breakfast so depends if you will drink that much alcohol. Worth the money

Hotel quite old fashioned but has everything that you might need. Views are lovely! Reception staff not the most polite. Restaurant staff fantastic just like buffet breakfast that they have. Overall ok. A bit too old fashioned for my liking tho.

Blue bay

I stayed there for five days they didn't change the sheets for five days they didn't replace the towels in the bathroom also we had ants around the shower tub.

Good value

This hotel was fine. It was clean enough and had a friendly staff. However, the front desk did not have hair conditioner or toothpaste, so if you stay here, make sure to not forget any of your toiletries. The rooms are extremely small as well, so a standard-sized suitcase will take up all of your floor space. The water that comes out of the faucet is discolored brown shade, so I wouldn't recommend drinking it. The water in our hotel room was very cold when we first arrived, so we had to leave the shower running for over 15 minutes for it to heat up. The water pressure in the shower also isn't very good and the shower heads are placed very low on the wall, so be prepared to be uncomfortable if you are tall. There is no wifi in the rooms. The walls are paper-thin. The breakfast and dinner buffets were great. However, if you do purchase an option that includes dinner, they will charge you for all drinks, including water. Also, I selected (and paid for) a sea-view room, but was given a room without a view.

Hotel does a basic job. Staff are friendly enough. Rooms are clean enough. Buffet is basic but adequate. WiFi is only in the lobby area. Toiletries (shampoo and shower gel) are only supplied for the first night, after that you have to get your own!

Two things I was not comfortable with there was only one electrical socket in the bathroom and secondly they could at least one English TV channel I.e bbc so we never missed our home soaps apart from that the hotel was superb and would revisit. D campbell

Good 3 star hotel with great sea view

This hotel is good for its 3 star rating. Rooms with great sea view overlooking Palma Bay. Room was small and basic, but kept very clean with good housekeeping staff. Not much variety of meals, but food was plentiful and well presented. Friendly waitresses kept very busy.

Loved the food. Our package included breakfast but we stayed for dinner a few evenings too. Great selection and very tasty. Only drawback is that lift is very small and only fits 3 people comfortably at a time. Lovely views from our balcony.The hotel is up a steep hill but we valued the challenge to keep us fit everyday to walk up from the main street.

We had a beautiful room with an amazing seaview balcon, the staff was very kindly, helpfully! The food was great and you can chhoose from any any meals, fruits! The beach of this city side is near the hotel ( pelican beach) and the bus is to center of Palma is easy, the bus station is very close to the entry of hotel! We had a wonderful holiday in Blue Bay! Nice hotel near town centre of calor major !!!!!!

The hotel is set in a elevated position the whole resort in a elevated position so if you have problems with walking this is not for you. There is a bus stop directly opposit the hotel the bus number 46 will take you to the centre of Palma in about 15 min the busses run every 10min and there is a flat fare of 1.50 euro each. Food in the hotel was good you could eat as much as you like a good selection on offer

The personal was very friendly and lovely. Hotelroom was cleaned every day! Breakfast was really great,everything from the porridge to fried eggs,different cheeses and fresh fruit,smoothies and croissats and cappuccinos. Just loved it. Beautyful swimmingpool area and garden,poolbar with snacks. Bustops are very close 100-200m,easy yo get to Palma by bus,2€. The beautyful beach to swim 500m to walk. Loved this place.

Fantastisk personal och en god vecka

Personalen var underbar. De var glada och serviceinriktade. Alltid vänliga och mötte oss med ett gott leende, vänliga ord som gav del lilla extra. Hade vi problem med något så löste personalen det. Frukosten var god och varierande. Det fanns alltid något nytt varje dag. En del lokala specialiteer och sådant som man äter hemma. Under bar kok och frukostvärd. Hotellet behöver en del finishreperationer och är lite lyhört. Klart rekomendabelt och ligger bra till i ett lugnt område

Le calme et le personnel très hospitalier et professionnels

Utmärkt 3-stjärningt hotell ca 6 km fr Gamla stan

Det var ett bra 3-stjärnigt hotell, där halvpension ingick, frukost och middag. Frukosten var mycket bra, middagen mer medioker, fast gott utbud i buffén. Jag hade balkong med fantastisk utsikt över havet och åt bägge sidor av bukten.Utmärkt städning. Poolen var bra, med en bar som serverade smörgåsar, dricka, och glass. Hotellet belägen uppför en tuff backe ca 200 m. Nedanför finns affärer och restauranger och småbåtshamn. Ytterligare 3-400 m finns en fri badstrand. Jag hyrde elcykel, tog ca 15 minuter in till gamla staden, 5-6 km.

Vraiment vraiment top

L'hotel était très bien, le personnel accueillant. Les services proposés étaient parfait. L'hotel etait très propre ! Petit bémol pour le lit double qui etait en fait deux lits simple collés. Le petit déjeuné etait bon et très varié. La vue de l'hotel est vraiment top. La piscine rien a redire. Au moment de partir on a demandé au réceptionniste d'appeler un taxi, 1 minute 30 après il etait la.

Hôtel surplombant la mer. Jolie vue depuis le balcon. Possibilité de bus reliant Palma de Mallorca pour 2 € le trajet. Piscine agréable mais un peu fraiche en ce début mai.

Vi har boet på Blue Bay flere gange. Det er et hotel, hvor man straks føler sig hjemme.Vi har på vore ferier haft et værelse med udsigt ude over haven, med Middelhavet i horisonten. Personalet er søde og venlige Vi var der denne gang i 12 dage og havde et dejligt ophold.Hotellet ligger i et roligt område i gåafstand til Calar Mayor (dog ikke for svagt gående). Bussen ind til Palma holder lige udenfor døren og køre hver halve time.

Det som var bra: - God mat till frukost med mycket att välja mellan - Trevlig personal - Väldigt fin pool där man kan sola och bada - Ligger inte så långt ifrån centrala Palma (ca. 30 minuter med buss) Det dåliga: - Rummet var inte rent - Sängarna var obekväma - Rummet var litet och möblerna var inte i bra skick - Otroligt tunna väggar. Man kunde höra varenda litet oväsen från grannarna. Detta gjorde det nästan omöjligt att sova där - Luftkonditioneringen fungerade inte, vilket ledde till att rummet blev omvandlad till en ugn

Good service and a clean room everyday. Breakfast was not really my cup of tea, missed a larger soap/shower gel in the shower. Due to COVID they had one time use stuff in the bathroom. The hotel is good if you just want something for a good price and if you’re out rest of the day.

Bra hotell med helt okej standard, trevlig personal och väldigt noga med att följa Corona restriktioner. Nackdelen är att hotellet ligger uppe på en backe och det är jobbigt att gå i värmen upp för trappor osv, sen är hissen väldigt väldigt seg då det endast finns 2 st på hela hotellet. Men får ändå godkänt.

Das Hotel war geschlossen!!! Hätte ich nicht eine Stunde vor Reisebeginn noch einmal dort angerufen, hätte ich vor verschlossenen Türen gestanden! Ja, ich wurde in ein anderes Hotel umgebucht, aber man sollte dem Kunden DAS vielleicht auch mitteilen!!! 6 setzen!!!

Nedslitt. Manglet kjøling på rommet- kom bare varme ut av aircondition, måtte derfor sove med døra åpen om natta. Ingen vannkoker, kjøleskap på rommet og alt måtte leases til en unaturlig høy pris. Vannkoker ble leaset. Hadde 2 flasker Prosecco med som jeg fikk resepsjonen til å kjøle for oss i barområdet.. de ble stjålet, og manangeren mente helt bestemt at det var jeg selv som hadde tatt de.... så dette stedet er ikke greit for deres gjester å besøke, for du vet ikke hva som kan skje. Blir ikke noen ny reise til Mallorca

Die Sicht aus dem Balkon ist ein Traum! Hotel ist in Großen und Ganzen super. Nur die Putzfrauen putzen nicht so wie es sein soll, füllen Duschgel & Shampoo nicht immer nach. Im Restaurant sind die Teller oft nicht richtig gespült.

O hotel é antigo, o mobiliário do quarto é velho, o colchão da cama é muito desconfortável. Pequeno almoço não é mau para um hotel de 3 estrelas. Não é um hotel aconselhável para pessoas idosas pois o acesso á praia é feita através de uma descida e subida íngreme. No geral aconselho este hotel para uma estadia curta.
