This is a wonderful hotel for rest and relaxation. But have your own transportation is important for getting around.

Very nice hotel on the river

Lovely hotel with nice view of the river and Gifu castle high up on the hill. It is in a good location for our out of town side trips. We would stay here again.

Gifu is a beautiful town and this is the perfect hotel to base out of.

This hotel is nice, convenient and all around very comfortable and accommodating. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Elegant hotel with large rooms. Wonderful pool, jacuzzi, outdoor tent saunas and indoor sauna and baths. Rooms that face the stadium while a sporting event is on going at night will find it very noisy and blinding outdoor lights. The breakfast buffet was ok, but the dinner buffet was very disappointing and way overpriced. Parking was convenient. It is a bit out of the way so going by car is recommended.

It was spacious and the views were amazing. Highly recommend the river view.

The person at the front desk did not seem to know that she was doing as well as the front desk taking a picture of my passport, which I didn’t have a problem with, but when we returned to check in they took another copy of my passport. Which I thought was unnecessary.

Clean and tidy room with a beautiful view of Nagara river and Gifu castle.

The hotel is great. My room, the pool, jacuzzi, hot bath and saunas were all awesome. Fitness room is okay. The hotel is a bit isolated from many things, so a car made the visit more enjoyable. The hotel has several dining options by way overpriced.

We came here specifically to see the cormorant fishing. Btw don’t bother. It’s very contrived. It doesn’t finish until 8. There’s nowhere to eat in the area and by the time you return to the hotel the dining has closed. Hungry night. Big flash hotel, but seriously lacking in essentials.

hotel is nice but no restaurant and convenience store near about the eat all you can dinner and breakfast they will not replace the food some of the food was empty .. the price is too expensive .. the hotel price iis not affordable will honestly will not comeback

Splendid views

Already the 3rd time staying at this hotel in Gifu. Service is friendly and professional. Some rooms provide a splendid view on Kinkazan (the landmark of Gifu city) The area is not downtown and there are no shopping areas but there are at least 3 good restaurants within 10 minutes of walking distance to the hotel. Spa, Gym and Pool cost extra but considering the overall moderate pricing that's very okay.

Used the hotel as a staging area for day trips to Sekigahara. Great hotel, great service. Wish the sky bar had a little better food menu, but overall a great visit

Excellent location. Right across the river from the castle, walkable to the Family Mart. Parking is easy and only $10. Great experience.

Staff was very helpful with my needs, I had a good rest

All things about the hotel were excellent apart from the following. Having specifically booked a Premium Floor room (with complementary access to the fitness suite and pool) for the whole of my stay, I was then informed that the pool and fitness suite would in fact be closed for the final two days of my stay for planned works, which they had known about far in advance. This meant I had paid extra for services I could not use. I wasn't informed of this by hotels.com or the hotel till I tried to use the pool. The staff didn't seem to see this as an issue till I complained and then was informed that they would reduce the cost of my room by around 2000 yen to compensate. This did bring the room rate down a little but it was still bad communication

This was my second stay at Miyako. I came back because I was impressed the first time. I brought my boss and three colleagues with me this time, and they loved it. I'll be back for sure.

An Excellent and very comfortable hotel; Nice river view!

I can't wait to return. Walking around the trails on the river. There is an azalia garden too. The buffet restaurant has all you can eat steak, and the beds are big and comfortable. The staff is friendly.

View of the river valley is excellent

The river view room plan I chose provided an excellent view over the Nagara river valley and also Gifu castle, which is perched on the mountain top and lit up at night. I would say it was well worth it. The room was of quite a high standard, I only had a one night stay, however it was clean and the details were competently executed.

Great Hotel and value

Great hotel but My opinion was bed a little too hard. Could be fine for those who like firm mattresses. Otherwise great staff and beautiful hotel and rooms.

At the riverside.

The Hotel is situated at the riverside with a nice view on Gifu castle. If you like to go jogging there is a nice jogging path along the river. It's ab it far away from the city center but close to a historical part of Gifu just across the bridge. Rooms are neat and clean. Staff is helpful and very friendly. Good atmosphere.

I have stayed at the Miyako at Gifu a number of times and have always found the service excellent. Free wifi was helpful. I wasn't able to manage room service though.

Room is big and spacious. Everything is clean and had a good view of Gifu castle from the window. 7-eleven nearby to get what you easily.

This was one of the nicest hotels I have visited. I would definitely stay there again.

Big room in the suburb

Very comfortable and spacey room. Excellent breakfast.

Even 15-min drive from Gifu station, the area is quiet and nice for jogs.

Great view of the river

Every part of the stay was excellent with the exception of the two twin beds in our room. It would have been much nicer with a bed large enough to accommodate two people. The staff was incredible and we very much enjoyed the in room massages!

Lovely, grand hotel. Perfect for cormorant fishing

Lovely hotel, very grand, rooms were spacious and we had a view of the river (which we paid extra for but worth it). Only criticism would be that the buffet breakfast was pretty standard. We stayed there to see the cormorant fishing and it is the perfect spot for that. The fishing takes place on the river near the hotel, the fishing spot is a 10 minute stroll down the river bank. Also walking distance away is the cormorant fishing museum which is worth a visit and a bit further you can take a cable car to the castle at the top of the hill. The castle is ok and you get great views.

Outstanding hotel with wonderful views

We went to Gifu to see the cormorant fishing on the river. This was within easy walking distance.The view from our room over the river and the mountains was spectacularly beautiful. The romm was very large and beautifully furnished and fresh looking. The loop bus from the station stops a few metres from the door. The breakfast was complimentary as was the use of the bicycles.

Fancy high end hotel for a great value

My wife and I decided to stay at this hotel because it was close to Gifu Castle. It had a grand entrance, with water features inside the hotel lobby. The staff was kind, somewhat understand English. The room was very nice with great views of the Gifu Castle and the river. The only problem I had was an issue with connecting to the internet, and when I called down to customer service, they hung up on me. The breakfast is probably the best I have had in Japan. The staff had no issues with leaving luggage at hotel after check out. It was a fun stay!

施設は古い感じでしたが、リノベーションがされていて、清潔感はありました。お部屋が広々としていて、バスルームも広かったです。部屋にソファもあり、くつろげました。

眺め良く、部屋も広く、とりわけ化粧室の湯ぶねは快適でした。 室料もリーズナブル。1Fの朝食ビュッフェ用スペースも綺麗。

ツインタイプの部屋3人で利用のためソファベッドを利用させていただき寝心地を心配しましたが、ソファベッドと思えない寝心地でソファベッドの取り合いになりました笑 スタッフのみなさんも親切にしていただき 良い旅になりました ありがとうございました

ロビーも部屋も広々としていてとても快適でした。 夜は人の声は気にならなかったが、ドアの開閉音や物音がたまに鳴ってビクッとした

宿泊した部屋は、9階の川側で、金華山山頂の岐阜城と麓の城下町と長良川が、とてもマッチしていて最高でした。 また、夜の夜景も最高でした。

広くてとてもきれいでした 部屋のまどから、長良川や岐阜城が観えて、素晴らしいビジュアルでした。

清潔感のあるプールがとても素敵でした♡

友人の紹介で利用させて頂きました。プールの水が綺麗でとても満足でした。8時からフィットネスクラブが利用出来てチェックアウトが12時というのも凄く良かったです♡ 部屋も清潔感があり気持ち良く過ごす事が出来ました。

朝ごはんの時も低い位置に子供が自分で取れるコーナーがあったりしてとても良い工夫だと思いました。 夕食もホテルのカフェでいただきましたがとてもリーズナブルでした。

駐車場が地下にあって、暑い夏には助かりました。　部屋は広くてゆったりと過ごせました。　ただ、バスルームのトイレットペーパーの位置が便器から遠くて、少し使いづらかったです。　スタッフの皆さんはとても親切に声がけをして下さいました。

ゆったりしたスペースがあり、クリーンでサービスもよかった。プールで泳ぐことができ、リラックスできました。

いつも、利用されていただいておりますが、素晴らしい。

冷蔵庫がスタイリッシュで最初見つけられず。けど、普通にありました。 空調がとても快適でベッドも気持ちよくとてもいい睡眠がとれました。チェックアウトが12時だったので疲れがとれてよかったです。

ホテルの感想

大人２人と１２歳の息子１人で滞在しました。 子供は添い寝で申し込みしました。 アメニティが２人分しかなく、添い寝の場合はアメニティ無いのかな？と思い、バスタオルなどは２つを３人で使いましたが、歯ブラシは持参もしてなかったので、フロントに貰いに行きました。 バスタオルは大判で吸収性もよく、気持ちよく使えました。 シャンプーなどもすごくいい香りでよかったです。地下の駐車場から建物に入ったエレベーター前の空間がすごくいい香りでした。 次の日の朝、あまり香らなかったので、ホテルの計らいかどうかは分かりませんが好きな香りでした。 ドライヤーが今流行りのリファでテンション上がりました！

大人向け

スタッフの方々は皆、穏やかな雰囲気で親切でした。掃除も行き届いています。 残念なのは、プールが18才以上しか利用出来なかったこと。hotels.comでプール付きを探したとき、宿泊者は無料で利用できると書いてあったけれど、18才以上というのは目に留まりませんでした。隅々までしっかり確認すべきでした。大浴場も無く、残念でした。もっとしっかり書いてほしいです。 それでも、受付の方が物腰柔らかく、家族で楽しめる近くの温水プールを教えてくださいました。旅行客向けというより地域の方に愛されるプール施設ですが、予定外の卓球もでき、子どもは大満足でした。 家族連れで楽しむのではなく、大人が優雅に過ごすにはぴったりのホテルだと思います。

長良川の川沿いにあり、景色が綺麗なホテルです。

お盆でしたが値段と全体的な雰囲気や過ごしやすさに満足でした。

ホテルは最高でした！！朝のブュッフェもとても充実した数と料理もとても美味しかったです！ 夜、外で食べようとしたところ、やっている店が 少なかったので、星を一つへらしました！ ホテルで食事をすればよかったと思いました。

いつ宿泊しても清潔で綺麗なロビーや部屋でくつろぐことができて最高です。

周辺の環境がよかった。

施設とサービスはレベルが高いですが宿としての駐車場が確保されていませんでした

家族で長良川の鵜飼と金華山トレッキング旅行のため宿泊しました。当日の予約にも関わらずスムーズに対応いただき、部屋もグレードアップしていただき流石の施設のグレード感も含めサービスだなと感じました。 しかし、翌日金華山のトレッキングをしシャワーで汗を流してチェックアウトしようとしたところ、ホテルの地下駐車場がまったく空いておらず部屋に戻ることすらできず妻に荷物だけまとめてきてもらいチェックアウトとなりました。 おそらく甲子園の観客だと思いますが、地下の駐車場が国際会議場と共有であり、外部の人間が停めることに対して対応がてきていないようでした。真夏は特に外部の人間が止め放題でその際には、宿泊客が止めるスペースがなくなるようですので、車でチェックアウト日の午前中に出かける方は注意された方がいいかと思います。

直前の予約でしたが大変気持ち良く素晴らしいおもてなしをいただきました。フロントの鈴木さんの丁寧なご対応が印象に残りました。

岐阜城がのぞめる長良川沿いのホテル

岐阜城がのぞめる長良川沿いのホテルです。スペーシャスなホテルで快適でした。ただし、岐阜駅からバスで15分かかります。

使いやすかったです。

ホテルのすぐ前が長良川なのに、長良川河川敷への散策ルートが確保されておらず残念でした。ホテル自体は素晴らしいと思います。

호텔 방 크기는 일본 치고는 컸습니다. 하지만 식당 퀄리티가 낮고 주변에 볼거리 먹을거리가 너무 부족합니다. 특히 식당에서 식사 권장하지 않습니다.

川の側でとても風情があります。
