I was grateful I got a real best western. Good air, good pillow. Good sheets.

Needed a place for work and this property was perfect. Great staff and my room was remodeled recently.

I had a good experience while staying in the hotel. it was clean and overall good for the price. would recommend and would stay again.

It was very cozy and typical of SF. We loved it!

It was good, its an older or historic? Property I was fine with the place staff was great. A nice new bathroom, unfortunately, the whole neighborhood I noticed has a plumbing problem not horrible but the sewer smell comes up, especially in the morning. But for the price well you can't have it all. I was a little cold in the am but a hot shower gave me hope.

Good for the price. The room did feel a bit stuffy but can’t really complain given the price.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few days and had no complaints! The room has a TV, WiFi, a mini fridge, and a microwave. The staff is friendly and the hotel is not too far from Pier 39!

The property is very unique in style. My room was super clean. I did not have any expectations because of the area but was impressed with cleanliness. I would stay here again. There is a store conveniently located just outside the property and that really helped with dining. Carpets can use some upgrade.

Mithila Four Day Stay

Very old hotel, no ac, which I now know is common for San Fran. Room was small, but did the job for a solo traveler. Mini fridge and microwave worked well.

My overall rating of this place (given the price because you get what you pay for) is a 10/10. The front desk man was very nice and the check in process was very easy! The elevator that takes you up, makes you feel like you’re going back in time but it was cool. The cleanliness of the carpet/hallways was upkept. The room itself was small and quaint however it fit our needs. No complaints from me :) The area didnt seem very sketchy, downtown SF itself is a little eh and you have to keep an eye out but I had no issues. This place does not offer parking but there’s several garages nearby, we committed to using public transportation and it was an experience for sure! I’m coming back the next time I have a trip planned out for the city.

The room itself was clean, just older. Ceiling had capped electrical wires hanging from the ceiling. The windows had an abundance of mold on them which was worrisome as there was no air-conditioning so the only air was coming through the windows. The bed was clean but very firm. The bathroom was the tough part. There was an abundance of mold on the walls but mostly hidden behind the toilet. The oddest part was having a random maintenance man working on our room in the middle of the day with no warning. He insisted on being there even after staff requested he leave. We spent almost $1200 for two nights to stay in this place and I would have expected better. The public spaces are very old and grimy. The staff was nice.

Got checked in very quickly by friendly staff. Came in to a clean room with a TV (no Netflix or anything but has cable). Nice shower and bathroom with windows you can open for fresh air. You do get what you pay for, however I think this provides more value than what it costs. Only downside is the bay can be a little humid and without AC the room can get a little stuffy. Recommend to anyone traveling on a budget!

Good stay in San Fran! Walkable to some good areas and it felt safe.

You pay for what you get. The staff was excellent. The area around it was borderline tenderloin.

I'm glad I chose this hotel. It was convenient for the purpose of my travel. The hotel rate is reasonable. I liked that there was a store and a bunch of restaurants around and easy to walk. The hotel staff is very friendly. The beds were comfortable. I don't mind coming back.

Stay at the mithila was great. Staff treated us really good. The location was amazing, many places were within walking distance.

Hotel stay was really nice. Hard to up stairs with stroller but front office man came to help as soon as he seen me. Very pleasant stay. Room was very clean and lots of extra pillows and towels were provided.

Nice historic hotel. Not fancy, but clean. A market is located next door which was nice. The area is ok during the day, most of the city is full of homeless people. I didn't think it was a good idea to be outside after dark, but then what downtown area is? It served it's purpose. Thanks!

The neighborhood was very noisy, but the service and accommodations were perfect for a short stay.

Too expensive for what it is.

Wifi was unreliable and slow, room was cold, shower didn’t get hot, lighting was awkward, room was cramped, right next to a quite bad part of town. If this hotel were half the price, I might have felt a bit better about my stay. On the plus side, staff was friendly and had a great food recommendation.

Older property, but clean and employees/owners are very nice. They kept my bag safe until I could check-in.

Local who was looking for a budget room for a few days - apt being painted. I always book a single room night and if it’s worthy I book additionally, as I did for 5 more night. Older hotel - great cage elevator reminded me of NYC/Boston/London. Hallways were a little worn but my room was newly renovated. Parque floors, modern color paint, new bed and new TV. On the smallish side but booked solo for least expensive rate. Very affordable - my two other go-to hotels were very pricey -convention?- so took a chance on Milthila Hotel and super-glad I did. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I saw/heard a few older international guests… and then a few younger - back-packers- but pretty quiet the entire stay on the 4th floor in room not facing the street-Sutter. I will be back!

Great part of San Francisco easy to everything I need for my life style!

Mithila’s place was accurate in its description. The building is a bit old which is fine. The elevator is a but of a hassle if you have stuff/luggage with you as it is heavy and kinda old fashioned. We were able to check in early around 11am with a fine. Reception was really pleasant and our room with a twin and bunk bed works perfectly for me and my mom. The heater was a bit slow to work with tho. The hotel’s location was good as it is near convenience stores, coffee shops, and Papa John’s right across is open till 2:30am so midnight snacks were no problem. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would love to book with Mithila again for my next visit in SFO. Thank you guys!!

There is people without homes .There was a junky who wanted to rob me but he had second thoughts. I just watched him knowing he was about to pull out a knife but I continue walking fast. Didn’t bother to interact.

The radiator might not have been working properly but overall, it was a nice stay for a night's rest. Clean and tidy!

部屋の内装は殺風景でしたが、バスタブ、コーヒーメーカー、冷蔵庫全て揃っていて、満足でした。夜も静かでした。バスタブの栓が無くなっていたので、電話したら、すぐにゴム製の蓋を持って来てくださったので、いい対応でした。

I really like the hotel I definitely come back here next time!! Hotel staff are so nice and the hotel is very clean and comfy pretty cute
