- swimming pool was closed, it is not noted when you book. You only get a message about it after you have booked the hotel. - you are cheated for airport transport. An ubertaxi will be booked for 150QAR, which you can book yourself for 50QAR. And you can book/jump on a regular taxi yourself for 39-40QAR. - cleaning staff bad. You have to call cleaning and go down to reception so that they can understand and give towels etc. but you still don't get it all. - the tour team that comes to the hotel - huge scam. They also overcharge and cheat, plus they want a "tip" for the driver who drives the tourists back and forth, as if the huge scam price they charge for the safari isn't enough.

Average hotel with lovely staff

The staff helped to the best of their ability but rooms were untidy and cleaning seemed to be always delayed (though the managers did try and sort this)! Dates rooms - with uncomfortable bedding and pillows (maybe o am sensitive)?! Did not enjoy the foods at the restaurant- limited and felt recycled . Pleasant staff - can’t fault them - wouldn’t stay there again.

Nice hotel at a good price. The staff were lovely and very helpful. My original room had a shower over bath but they were happy to move me to a room with a separate shower on request which was greatly appreciated. Lots of nearby dining options and a short cab ride to any of the inner city’s main areas like Souq Waquif and Al Corniche. Rooms are large with great storage, comfy bed and pillows.

Best Hotel I’ve slept in

Everything was perfect aside from a stain on the floor that looked like a recent spill, and the faucet in the bathroom wasn't the cleanest. Other than that it was 5 stars

Safe and quiet, but food is very expensive

I want to highlight the efforts of the house keeping staff Mr. Joseph and Ms. Krishna as they went above & beyond to make my stay enjoyable.

It is probably the first hotel where cleaning is done properly. Staff are always ensuring that you are happy with everything and all your requests are dealt very fast.

It was quite and the house keepers are always cleaning and putting things right.

Everything was okay except that the tv kept going on and off when i was watching you tube but the normal tv channel was okay. Also the house keeping people were excellent. There was a lady called Krishna she did an amazing job when it came to cleaning my room during my stay. Lastly the doormen did an excellent job, the food was delicious and the reception service people at the front desk were excellent. I love it so i will come again for a longer stay in october of this year

Poor services

The hotel is ckean and quiet. Staff are helpful to the best to the best of their abilities. The dining options can be improve, breakfast options are very limited.

Good for business trip

Nice enough hotel. Breakfast was good; typical for the region. Pool is between two buildings so sunlight is hampered. Bar unattended. Beer not served. Room was sensibly equipped for a business trip.

Very mediocre - floor/room smelt like an ashtray, room was a little unclean in places. Room service had very limited options and was cold when it finally arrived. I was expecting an upgrade as promised in my VIP access but unfortunately this was not received

Disappointed

My stay at Millennium was disappointing. The good things are: Hotel location. Room size. The bad things are: Cleanliness of the room specifically that used items were still there in the room and not changed prior our stay (like an opened water bottle). The Hotel must give more attention and care. The Room AC was terrible, they come to fix it but still not that good. The room service was weak and they are too slow to serve your needs. Imagine I was forced during the check out to take down my luggage and also to the car. And the day-time security was so rude for not to open the door to us and even not smiling which is the minimum thing to do. I believe I will not repeat it.

Staff were lovely, as was room (I had booked an Executive / Club room) and I was travelling alone for work. Sadly, Executive / Club Lounge was dreadful. Perfectly nice space, but rarely saw a member of staff, food selection was poor and there was no "Cocktail Hour" as advertised online ... in fact no alcohol at all. Thankfully, with my room, I could use the main breakfast restaurant downstairs ... lounge offering was, again, very poor. Pool is small and uninspiring - went once for about 10 minutes. Looked a bit sad and in need of an upgrade. Location is not great if you're only in Doha for a couple of days. Spend more and stay in the West Bay area if you can. Again, all staff were lovely, but didn't make up for the hotel.

I have just spent a week at the wonderful Millennium Plaza Hotel. The room was very spacious and located on the 10th floor I had a great view of West Bay. Bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was excellent with both bath and shower. Plenty of wardrobe space for clothes, a mini-fridge, television, lovely sofa chair and foot rest along with a separate writing desk and chair. The gym (located on 3rd floor) was very well equipped and there is also a swimming pool with sun bathing area as well as spa facilities. All the staff were very friendly, professional, helpful (a particular “shukran” to Mr Ibrahim for looking after my cases and teaching me some basic Arabic which came in useful) and available to answer any questions. Doha is a great place and I will return and definitely stay here again – thank you to everyone for making it such a pleasant stay.

Overall, the hotel is alright. I found the location was inconvenient for me.the staff were not very helpful. However, they tried but not hard enough.

I booked This hotel through expedia and paid extra to buy the insurance in case I need to cancel it. I canceled the ticket right after 20 minute when I booked it and they returned the payment even though I had the insurance and Expedia never helped either or fight for it to pay me back. Please be careful

The hotel is very nice, but there were several small inconveniences that we’re irritating. Plus, I was not able to get any of the VIP provisions that I asked for.

the staff were really nice&friendly, we stayed for one night and they gave us upgrade to a beautiful suit . I travelled with my partner and we really enjoyed it.

Hotel was a good hotel, well located. Buffet breakfast needs more variety in terms of fruit and meat. Only thing that I didn't like was the room carpet had 2 nasty stains from previous guest(s). Overall, good clean hotel.

Good location. Very friendly staff. Clean hotel and lovely restaurant called 'Slice' that serves and very generous breakfast for a very reasonable price. The bathroom could do with a bit of redecorating in parts, e.g. sealant on the shower base, but this did not detract from a wonderful stay.

Great hotel in a good location, Al Sadd has far more to do than West Bay.

I have no complaints with the property and the staff from the lobby are very uncomfortable, friendly with a warm welcome. The restaurant in the second floor staff are very disappointing, due to different culture, they have no respect with women, the steak I ordered for room service went back 3/4 times to have it corrected they way I wanted. Very ungrateful staff from the second floor restaurant.

Nice place

The hotel is a bit dated but clean. The room was a decent size and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner buffet is extremely limited. Of course you can order a la carte. The staff were very nice and very helpful.

I spent only the New Year's Eve at the Millennium Plaza Doha and it was a great experience. Very attentive staff, nicely organised party. The room itself was amazing, could not ask for more. Highly recommend this place.

Millennium Plaza is a very good hotel the reception staff is very nice but the service was not very good for example we were out of toilet paper most of the time although they know that were 3 people in the room. I was not very happy this time although I love the hotel and it's location and cleanliness.

Positive: location, staff are very helpful and kind. Negative: I booked a triple room as advertised on your website but when I get there the room was a twin with a roller bed which was really uncomfortable to sleep on, it was so hard I couldn’t sleep on it. I spoke to the manager he said we do not have triple room in our hotel , I asked him to come to the room and try to sleep on this bed,he offered to add an extra mattress, they brought extra mattress same quality, he offered extra blanket to cover the mattress , it wasn’t comfortable at all ☹️ I asked for a same quality mattress of the twin bed and told him I sleep on the floor, the manager told me he can’t do this, after a long discussions he arranged a same quality mattress and bedding. Another thing was I asked room service for a plate and Knife in the room they asked me to pay 25 ryal for it 😳

Check-in & Check-out was quick and smooth. I’ll like to mention the lady who checked me in at around 5pm- (Darling) who was absolutely brilliant, having had horrible experience from another hotel in another country; this hotel was like a breathe of fresh air. Very professional staff and always willing to help. I’m so happy I booked this hotel and I’ll recommend this place to friends and family.

front reception staff not friendly at all. didn't let us check in early. one of the front desk staff, her name was DARLIN told us nothing is free in life, which I found quite rude, saying it to guests, when we asked for early check in.

Helpful staff, clean environment, convenient location

I have stayed at the property before but this time the experience was very disappointing. They gave me a room with a huge wall instead of the City View. I told them that I need to have a room where I can get sunshine as the current room is mostly closed and this is not what I wanted. They told me that there are some rooms with this design and some rooms with the wall and that they don’t have a room with a glass window. They instead offered me a delux room but asked me to pay extra for it. Otherwise they had no way they can help. I asked for smoking room and they said they don’t have a smoking room available and they can only give me non-smoking. Their first answer to every request was no. The service this time was really bad by all of the staff.

Excellent and affordable Hotel in Doha

I had a transit visit of Doha and chose to stay with Millennium Hotel because it is very comfortable and at a very reasonable price. The staff is always friendly and helpful, so it is the most important thing to have in my opinion.

I was satisfied with everything. The collective is friendly. The meal is delicious. Not in the center but the view is beautiful.

A terrible experience. When i'm arrived,in 6:00 am, the room is not ready and i'm waiting too long timbe before i go into the room. The breakfast is not included during my travel. a hotel room was not busy, because one of our colleagues failed to leave. I had to pay 200 euros more to have breakfast and the room right away.

Excellent hotel with extremely courteous reception staff and great breakfast deal at 45/- at the coffee shop. Peaceful stay without the noise associated with hotels having bars and night clubs. High quality rooms, furniture, bath fittings and design.

Very nice hotel and service not to far from city center

Unfortunately the pool area had no service had to go in and speak to the lovely ladies at the spa if I required anything. However their services were exceptional 24/7. Very friendly, professional and lovely staff.

Short two day stay

Unfortunately swimming pool was closed. All restaurants in the hotel were closed during the day only room service was available due to Ramadan so I am unable to comment on a lot of the services. No alcohol was available even in the hotel room with a meal.

Delay and bad housekeeping

I booked three night to relax on this hotel unfortunately I had bad service , first delay to bring Thoth paste to my room I called them two time and they said it on the way until it came to me after waiting long time. Second was housekeeping the first day they didn’t clean my room and when I return from my work they wake up to clean the room , the second day I push the button to clean the room even though the didn’t clean I complain to them and they told me the reception maybe you push don’t disturb !!? And while I’m sleeping somebody push the door and try to get in which I wake up unconsciously to told to housekeeping I’m trying to get rest here!! Finally I check out from the hotel , even i still have one night to stay . Really only good on this hotel is just the location. Bad service bad hotel I will not stay here anymore.Im coming to relax but was really disappointed to stay here
