Great property! Expect to taxi into town, so consider around $50 round trip taxi fees, but hotel is very clean and quiet. We would stay here again.

It’s not too far from everything. It’s 18 minutes, but it doesn’t have a fan or air conditioner. The rooms are really small no microwave.

Hotel is in the middle of no where. You will need a Taxi to get in or out. The food quality in the restaurent is low compared to the prices you pay. Cleanliness was average. We were told our room is being upgraded. We booked a Superior room and ended up in classic room. Was this an upgrade?

This property is older but reasonably maintained. The lobby check-in seemed slow, but it can be challenging with international traveling. The value is very good considering those who are cost minded. The beds and pillows are firm, but I know this is individual preference. The air conditioning did not work in my room so be sure to check as soon as you get settled. My room had a connecting door that was unlock, be sure to check it. The breakfast venue is very good, fresh and reasonable. Overall, 3 stars and friendly staff.

This hotel was so disappointing. My room looked nothing like the pictures. The bathroom was old and not functional looked like black mold was growing from the grout. The bedroom was not upgraded. The bed just felt gross. The location was very far from the city about a 20 minute uber ride. We took a 10 minute uber ride to the nearest metro entrance. So if location is a big deal do not book this hotel.

Hotel was ok. Could hear all neighbours of adjoining rooms, so baby crying one side and someone snoring on the other. Room was ok cleanliness, but bathroom grouting and mould was bad. Didn’t provide anything in terms of amenities. Breakfast wasn’t very nice. Asked to use iron, were told we’d have to iron anything in reception.. around everyone there. Generally disappointed.

Hotel was in a decent spot of Rome. Staff was decently helpful but as a tourist did not feel welcomed. Breakfast was ok but overall would go back.

Really nice hotel. Really sad the pool was not open. Also could not find the gym. Cleaners did great job on our room every day. Lovely view over the swimming pool as requested. Super market, McDonald’s etc right outside. I would recommend this hotel.

the staff are very helpful and friendly. Asia assisted me in planning my trip to the city, giving me a map and suggesting how to plan my day. the staff in the restaurant are excellent too. Francesco gives suggestion of what food I should try. Paolini checks if I was enjoying my meals. They want to ensure that I enjoy my stay in the hotel.

I like the fact that my room had a balcony view of the front entrance of the hotel and sitting on a hill with good scenic views.

My stay was absolutely lovely. A great value for the price.

This place is dope! 10 mins from Rome and 10 mins from the airport. Train is across the street and your money stretches good in this neighborhood. Go to Joseph’s for lunch but get there right at 1230

All the staff were warm welcoming, helpful and friendly. Service was excellent. The first room we were in was on the 3rd floor on the poolside of the building, a nice room but the noise from the duel carriageway was relentless. We asked to change room and they obliged. However we were in a hurry to go out and didn't check the room properly. The room wasn't as clean as it should be, the wardrobe doors were hanging off, the fridge didn't work. Once again we asked to change rooms and again they obliged. We were moved to a room on the 6th floor which was again on the same side of the hotel as the carriageway. We went and bought earplugs so that we could get some proper sleep. The hotel grounds are not well maintained, walkways and steps are cracked and crumbling in a lot of places. The main things that let this hotel down is the housekeeping is not up to standard, if you have a room on the carriageway side its very noisy, maintenance is lacking.

So nice, clean, and friendly

Had to go downstairs to get them to sign me into Wi-Fi and even when I got signed in it was very weak service …always going in and out. Also, for those that use public transportation, be aware it is on a steep hill which you will have to walk up. But it is very clean and everyone was very kind.

The hotel has a lot of potential but not very accessible quite a long confusing journey into the center, the rooms could have better chairs to sit on also some balcony furniture, tea and coffee amenities in the room would be very good too. Thank you

The front desk employees were rude. As well as the restaurants' staff. Customers service at its worst. All the way to our check out time, we requested a wake call and did not receive one, we were told, "we get busy."

I wish my room was able to get a bit colder, but otherwise, the hotel and staff was a great experience. It is easy to see that customer satisfaction is the top priority of every staff member you come into contact with.

It's a beautiful 5 star hotel. It's very well maintain and clean. The location is fine, easily accessible by bus to go to city center. There is a grocery with restaurant just around the corner. Parking is free. Breakfast buffet is excellent for additional cost. Staff at the reception is very nice to upgrade us to a superior room. The room - very nice and clean. We love the king size bed, very comfy. Water is provided, but could be better if there is a kettle for coffee and tea.

The main problem with the hotel is WIFI or maybe because I was at 5th floor was very weak it was disconnected all the time.

In my own experience January 1 with fireworks infront of my balcony, its perfect. Spacious room with exciting breakfast. Something travellers should know this. Accross Midas has camping bus transport 5 euro to center back and fort just tell the schedule of your coming back to that place. Taxi to Vatican 15 euro and taxi to train station 32 euro i pay. Walking to the train station Aurelia is so scary walking alone.

The price for laundry service was a bit high.

Nice hotel, false advertising IMO

We liked the hotel, area was ok, etc. We were very disappointed though that we ended up paying quite a lot in taxi service. The website says that there’s a shuttle to the airport, but in fact they just order a taxi and you pay €50 for the service each way. In my opinion this is false advertising.

If you’d like to stay outside of the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place! A beautiful hotel. Very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Great breakfast! We stayed 4 nights with zero issues or complaints.

I would have given 5 stars, but a simple thing like coffee was a hassle. There was only 1 instant coffee it was never refilled, both coffee cups were removed by cleaning staff, and when i requested more nothing happened.

The hotel is great and close to Vatican and attractions. On the map seems far BUT its actually pretty close and convenient away from the crowd. Breakfast don't expect much.

No water in service bar

There are several problems with the breakfast. The way they run it. stuff running the breakfast are rude. time waiting to go in the breakfast area. there is every day stuff missing & you have to wait a lot of time to bring the missing food. The stuff they don't like you to ask them or complain about anything.

This hotel is wonderful in every way. The bed is so comfortable, the place is clean from top to bottom and the staff are professional, courteous, friendly and go the extra mile for you. Beautiful place to stay.

The front desk staff we're always friendly and accomodating. The bar tender Valeria was wonderful. The restaurant was great and so were the staff. We didn't understand why the maids didn't leave the instant coffee packets in room and why we had to ask for themvat reception.

The hotel was okay. Front desk staff was helpful, Bar and Restaurant should have been self serve for the lack of service provided.

The hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast had a great variety and was good We were celebrating our anniversary and they delivered us a bottle of water a cookie and a card. It was so sweet

Beds felt like sleeping on a wooden plank. Food options in the area are slim. Hotel food was mediocre and expensive. Service was poor as we didn’t get a 2nd pillow in the 5 night we stayed. Called for toilet paper and no one came for 3 hours. If you can’t stay in the city you are going to struggle with transportation

Property was clean, pool was nice with lounge chairs. Rooms had balconies but no chairs to sit on. No ice machine. Food was ok but ran out and had to wait to be replenished. Seemed disorganized. Didnt clean the room 1 day

A corporate conference hotel, NOT for tourists.

The property is clean and well kept. Has a very large pool with a great sitting area.

Hotel itself was very nice & clean. Upon arrival, there was an issue with our reservation. The staff stated they upgraded their system and they couldn’t find our Expedia reservation. They asked us for time to try and locate the reservation and they offered everyone in our group a free drink as a courtesy. After 30-40 min, they found our reservation and everything was good to go. They allowed us to stay past our check out time since our flight was later in the evening. Overall, a nice clean hotel.

We were there for only two days but it’s a great place to stay for a quick trip. The staff is very nice and met all of our needs. The pool was a bonus in the mid 90 degree weather.

The hotel staff is the best ever. Claudia (I am probably not spelling it correctly) was absolutely amazing. She was so helpful to us. She helped us navigate ourselves around the city and made sure that we left in enough time to get to all of our tours. I had a small issue with the lights staying on in my room and she quickly had maintenance up to correct it. My room was very nice and always clean. The day we arrived, service in the restaurant wasn't that good. We were left sitting while they served everyone around us. And after we finally had or order taken, about 30 minutes later, we were told that they forgot to put our order in. When we finally received our food, we were told that we needed to cash out, essentially rushing us out. I didn't like that at all. But the next time we ate in the restaurant, it was great. Great service and great service at the bar. Even with the incident at the restaurant, I would still highly recommend this hotel. The staff is great, grounds are beautiful, and the pool is an awesome bonus. Oh, and I wanted to comment on some of the things I had read about the hotel before I came. First, you are able to control the air from your room. It didn't appear to go lower than a certain point, but you were able to control it yourself. The doors to the balcony does open and you are able to sit out there and enjoy the view or fresh air. So the reviews that made the statements about the air and balcony are not accurate. It may have been room specific.

We stayed 3 nights at Midas and the hotel was clean and rooms very comfortable...breakfast was great and the pool was perfect to cool off after sightseeing..metro trains were not working so we used buses instead whuch took a lot longer to get to everything...we enjoyed our stay and eould definitely come back again.

At one time, this hotel must have been excellent, but now the accommodation part of the hotel is outdated. It just needs one more facelift. The swimming pool, bar, and dining area have been updated and are now modern in appearance. Urgent attention is needed for the path to visit local shops, bus stops, and restaurants as the steps have cracks and are dangerous. Additionally, a portion of the path lacks any lighting at all. The area is also isolated, making it unsafe for anyone returning to the hotel in the evening. I'm done with the negative aspects of the hotel. The good thing is that the hotel is not far from central Rome, with good bus service, and the price and location are good. Sorry for another negative. The website states that the hotel has a regular shuttle service to the Vatican, and we were disappointed that they no longer provide this service despite it still being listed on hotel.com and other websites. (This was one of the reasons we chose this hotel)

Breakfast could be a little bit better, more variety of food, but good food. Easy access, bus stop to Rome Centre. Drive about 20 minutes by car. Nice polite staff, clean rooms, bar and restaurant at lower floor, nice swimming pool. Recommend *****

Very clean and service was impeccable!

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and the staff were very polite and friendly. Nothing was any trouble. We stayed in the august heat so the swimming pool was wonderful in addition to the air conditioning. Breakfast was very nice and there was a good selection of food and drinks. We were very relaxed and very impressed with the friendly staff all round. We were able to ask receptionist to call us a taxi at short notice. This service was excellent. We wish to thank you all who made our stay so comfortable.

I did not like that there is not walkable streets, roads without sidewalk.

Poor experience

Poor service from the Ladies at the reception.No smiles, no hello’s when you walk pass the reception or in and out of the hotel. The staff in the restaurant (the men) are nice and say hello and goodmorning. But the food at the breakfastrestaurant is poor. The iron doesnt work. There is Nescafé at the room, when you arrive, but after two cups its over, and neither the cleaningladies, the reception or the restaurant want to give you more for the rest of the stay. The pool area is good - but else it was a vers disappointing experience at this hotel.

It was a good stay the breakfast was good an our rooms was perfekt Accept the icecreme machine did not give back money We said 6 times to the frontdisk and they did nothing about it at all It was only 8 euro but it was my kids money It cut have been handlet much better than it did

Overall a good hotel for the money. It is 20-30 minutes from the center normally which may be negative. It was clean and good size room for my family of 4 with 2 bathrooms. I do not think A/C was working properly so it was a hotter than expected night. Tye bar, restaurant area is nice, we did not use the pool though.

There is no wifi in the room. No Air condition, toilet seat broken. Complete mess.

Excellent facility with great staff and service. Nice breakfast and ample parking. A quick cab / taxi ride to all the tourist spots - use local taxi instead of Uber. Nice restaurants along Via Aurelia for lunch or dinner.

Nice front desks and very helpful. But hotel needs renovation. Our room had molds and it was very dusty, which made it very uncomfortable. It took a while for our requests to be completed as well, like extra towels. I had an incident as well when a staff just suddenly opened the door without knocking while I was changing. Needs a lot of improvement.
