The property looked good though we did not get to go out due to the chilly and rainy weather.

Marvelous hotel in a beautiful small city

Very relaxing place

This is more than just a hotel, this is a superbe alpine style resort with heart stunning decor and construction, it is the epitome of perfection, I would highly recommend you make a stop here and make it part of your Moroccan journey. it’s more than a stay, it’s an experience that will touch your senses and you’ll remember forever. The staff is the cream of the crop and attend to your every need before you even ask, the sauna is world class, the indoor heated pool is simply a joy. The rooms have a distinct home feel with a balcony overlooking a serene natural environment with birds flying overhead.

Horrible experience will never come here again. We had our wedding and came here straight after. We checked in at 1am with a large group of our friends. We all booked deluxe garden rooms. As the couple we checked in first and we asked for an upgrade. We wanted to PAY for this upgrade but they explained that they were completely booked. As in the hotel was full. We had 7 rooms booked all under the same amount and type but under different names. As it was a late night and we explained that we were the couple. They explained they were going to give us surprise they decorated the room with 4 red balloons and white flower petals. We were initially very happy and enjoyed the room. It’s a gorgeous hotel. The next day while we were enjoying our day with our friends. They showed us their garden deluxe rooms. They actually had been upgraded without asking into deluxe suites that have full living rooms 2 bathroom and a soaking tub. Two of our friends received these rooms. I was so upset because they checked in not even 10 min after us, they did not ask and they booked the same room type as us. Why would the staff lie and intentionally ruin our wedding night: we even compared hotel receipts we payed 300 dirhams more for a shittier room and 4 red balloons. I have never been more offended as a bride staying in a 5 star hotel. The lack of care to give two upgrades to our group and not us even when we asked. They knew we just had our freaking wedding and we’re choosing them.

Extremely high standard of accommodation, food, service and facilities.

Bad management

I booked garden view room and they gave me the worse room that having hotel entrance while my selected kig bed size was double beds fit next to each other making mid line between the two beds uncomfortable to sleep at all. When i asked them to change my room thay informed me that the hotel is fully booked. But when i check their web site there were many rooms available!!! Finally they told me that i got very cheap price online and if i want to change to better garden view room i should pay additional 1500 dirham!!! Totally unprofessional.

Great hotel

A very nice retreat from the hustle of fes. Spent a couple of days here with my partner. The hotel is fantastic, decor, amenities and the front desk was very helpful.

Great place… some hiccup when handling our luggage during checking out

We loved the garden and the farm area, the resort is splendid. One small disadvantage is the fact that it's isolated from the city center. Must drive about 10 to 15 minutes if you need anything the hotel doesn't have. Small price to pay in exchange of the tranquility. Highly recommend it. Will go back

I am surprised i forget my machin shaver.after few days i called hotel ask them about what i forget, they told me we will check and let you know, nobody answer me until now,any way they can’t use it because i have the charger.front disk or who answered me they don’t care about customers.

One of the best hotels in Morocco!

Not worth it

The hotel and grounds are tastefully decorated, clean, and well kept. Our room, however was entirely too small - particularly given the furniture and decor, it was made to feel even smaller. The bathroom was very cramped as well. Someone over 6 feet tall would not be able to comfortably take a shower. Restaurants are overpriced and choice of food is narrow and not acceptable for a 5-star hotel. Vegetarians beware. Staff are friendly and try to be helpful. We had subpar restaurant service one night of our stay but I’d like to think that was an exception. We opted for room service for the 2nd night of our stay in light of that experience and that was much better. Breakfast is ample and staff helpful, however. Pool area is nice, as is the spa although the latter is absurdly overpriced. Not much to do at the hotel, otherwise. We killed time in the omnisport complex, which we often had to ourselves for yoga, a workout, and a bit of basketball. Staff do seem to take feedback quite seriously - surveys are available after every service- so I’m hopeful that they take guest comments to heart and try to improve where possible.

One disaster after another. Very expensive mistake. We had trouble checking in and securing upgrades per our status. We booked an additional room and still received no upgrade in spite of the fact that the hotel was half empty. Construction noise. No rebates offered. In spite of the 5 star appearance, lack of response from management about giant roaches in the bathrooms and other concerns led to a very disappointing experience.

Lovely, modern alpine style hotel, great service and facilities

Average experience, somewhat deceived.

Weekend getaway with my wife. We stayed for a few days at the Michlifen, result is average for the price paid. Room was VERY small for a 200 euro per night room in a 5* hotel. Bathroom and bathtub are also ridiculously small and not comfortable. Bed was comfy but Again, not 5 star standards. Service is great and the people at the reception are welcoming. We had dinner at the french restaurant, food was great and so were the people attending us.

Family Stay

The stay was very nice and we will definitely come back soon. Unfortunately we visited this hotel several times but we never get to know they had a kids club, basketball area and a small farm. We had never been informed.

There were no activities to do. No variety of restaurants .

This is one of the most spectacular hotels I have ever stayed at. Truly magical experience from check in, to dining to check out. I can’t wait to go back!

Stylish hotel great SPA, but small rooms & ok food

Chalet style hotel with beautiful decor. Great services throughout the hotel. Amazing SPA, especially the indoor warm pool. However the standard room we got was too small for us and with malfunctioning amenities. They are more room type for a single person. Not for couples and definitely not with a baby. Not worth the price. Better pay more and get one of their suites that are more spacious. In the restaurants the food is very average. What is written in the menu is not what you get in your plate. Breakfast is fine, food is better at the country club by the golf. The lounge is nice with good cocktails.

I checked in late and there was a bit of confusion about my booking, however, the staff resolved it quickly and I spent one lovely night staying at this fantastic hotel! The views from the balcony were breathtaking and swimming in the indoor pool with an open fire burning was simply bliss. The room was comfortable and luxurious, although it took quite a while to figure out the lights as there are lots of buttons and it seems impossible to switch them all off at once! I unplugged them in the end and it was fine after that. Breakfast is very expensive!

Wonderful mountain experience in Morocco

This is truly a wonderful and luxurious hotel with a laid back vibe. The room is really an apartment !! So comfortable and relaxing. The terrace is also a great place to be. Try the hammam

Ghost Hotel

Disappointed. Brochures look fantastic, town looks like a piece of Europe imported but it isn't.. The room are fine other than the most ridiculous electrical switches - over 20 in one room - really. Food is good, prices are very high, most staff other than reception are very helpful. The problem is that this very big and very expensive hotel was near empty in early April - more staff than guests.. The town of Ifran was no different - 3 cafes, no alcohol which is expected but buildings in disrepair around the town square. Not recommended

Best Hotel

This hotel is more than a 5 star hotel. Service was exceptional, lots of choices for food and a great beautiful spa. Huge gym, indoor and outdoor pool.

It was great. The people are really nice, the heated pool was wonderful.

Hotel is beautiful

The hotel itself is gorgeous, and the bed is super comfortable. The room was very clean, and all of the facilities worked. The spa and pool area are amazing. We overall loved our stay. Only complaints are that the light switches are difficult to figure out,there are a panel of buttons above the bedside tables that control various lights.The second is being stopped and questioned every time you go off the property and back in. They need a better system for that instead of making guests feel like trespassers.

Beautiful hotel in an alpine setting.

Everything was perfect and the hotel is immaculate. Friendly staff, gorgeous infinity pool as well as an inside pool. Amazing spa facilities and work out rooms. We took the offered bikes and rode around the village. The only complaint was the hotel was empty of guests and we had booked two standard rooms. We were not offered an upgrade which I thought was strange since our rooms looked out over the parking lot and not the mountains. Other than that it was a perfect stay with cakes upon arrival and chocolates at turn down.

excellent hotel

it is the only 5 star hotel in the city,, it is wonderful. i liked almost everything except the wifi connection which was bad and the lunch buffet which was also bad and the bed. the dinner restaurant, the lobby, the room, the motorcycle ride, the view, the pool are all excellent.

Beautiful resort, attentive start, 5 star, great bar, tons of activities, incredible city. Highly recommend!!! Must see Azrou and the sweet but wild monkeys who live in the trees and eat out of your hands!

Spactacular views, perfect service

I stayed at the Michlifen while visiting a program at Al Akhawayn university - right next door, down a spectacular outdoor stairway from the huge pool. It was Ramadan and therefore almost empty, and staff were especially friendly. The service is extraordinary - turn down with tiny elegant patisseries, nothing is too much trouble. Stunning room, great free wifi. I travel a lot, and thesis one of the absolute best hotels I have ever stayed in.

Fabulous choice of in the Atlas Mountains

After a long day of travel by train and tax from Casablanca we were warmly greeted with Moroccan tea and our currency was able to be exchanged immediately. The hotel is beyond imagination beautiful nestled in a picturesque mountain town. The "hammam" (or Turkish bath a some refer to it) spa treatment is a must if you stay here. The hamamm is an out of this world experience in the most tranquil of settings possible which will leave you relaxed to your core. Food in both the main dining room and breakfast were superb. The grounds contain crops that are used at the hotel. The extra touches by the staff make the hotel experience a 5 star rating. Every day upon arrival at the hotel in our room a staff person arrives with a bottle of water and two chocolates in a bowl. Every evening they bring more bottled water, deserts and put our your slippers.

Beautiful nicest hotel in Morocco Amazing service

Ifrane is beautiful. This hotel made all the different. Fluffy pillowtop mattress. Exceptional service. Amazing food. There is an indoor heated pool so even though it was cool outside we went swimming enclosed in a beautiful all glass building with glass roof. I could just imagine in winter swimming there with snow outside would be amazing. We were here in April and it was 25 celcius so definitely not snowing.

Pricey for meals but this is a splurge. Everyone nice and attentive.

Great Moroccan getaway

It's a wonderful, if somewhat pricey, getaway from the hustle of the other Moroccan cities. Superb location and world-class service, except for little incidents with obtaining beverages at pool-side and on the terrace. Ifrane is like a little corner of Switzerland, clean and orderly, which stands in great contrast to the other cities.

Bonjour Trés bel établissement bien équipé, bon repas. Par contre le service Kids Club n'est pas très animés. Les enfants se sont ennuyés vu qu'il pleuvait et faisait froid. Il n'y avait pas d'animation dans le kids club pour les enfants. Prévoir des jeux de sociétés et des jeux de groupe. Les animatrices étaient gentils mais n'avaient pas d'expérience.
