Comfortable. Good breakfast and location.

Basic hotel with few amenities. Ok for price. Comfortable room with updated bathroom, but thin carpets need updating. Good breakfast. We didnt try dinner. Good location 2 blocks from the main street. Walkable to town, bird sanctuary, and shuttle bus to interesting glacier museum just West of town. Staff was helpful in arranging transportation to Perito Merino glacier (must see) and airport. Tour buses to Torres del Paine and El Chalten stop at the hotel.

Nice breakfast and location. Bad smell from the old carpet and not proper sound proof.

Bom hotel. Funcionários atenciosos e solícitos, sempre prontos a atender da melhor forma. Quartos de tamanho padrão e comodidades que atendem bem as necessidades. Roupas de cama e banho bem conservadas, limpas e higienizadas. O café da manhã é muito bom e farto e também possui um bom restaurante com serviços a la carte. Há um ponto de melhoria importante, que são os colchões. São de molas e apresentam deformidades e irregularidades que já não propiciam o conforto necessário para um bom descanso, indicando a necessidade de reposição.

Great location and installations!

Comfortable, convenient, great staff - needs love.

The location is great, the service is excellent, and there is nothing wrong with the hotel other than it needs renovation. It is clean, it is comfortable, but it is dated. Sound insulation is also a problem – you can hear your next-door neighbors more than you should be able to. With some cosmetic work, this could be an outstanding property.

Room is small, carpet is so old, wall is very thin, you can hear all the conversations. Breakfast is basic, not far from center.

Room was basic but clean, shower was great and front desk staff were nice. However our wifi was really bad. When we are travelling we rely on wifi for many things so this was a big disappointment

Excellent location, great service

Nice enough property in a good central location with friendly helpful staff let down by some attention to details in an otherwise comfort room. The room safe had no lock, the sink popper plug wouldn't stay closed and when we arrived the carpet to a radius of 50 cm all around the fridge was wet (from the staining on the carpet this appears to have happened before).

Staff was excellent. They looked after all our needs, gave good suggestions for places to go and to eat, and left a very nice surprise for our friend on her birthday.

Large room with plenty of space to put your belongings. Friendly staff with comfortable beds. Carpet clearly not been vacuumed for a while, badly needs to be replaced. Good breakfast starting at 6:00.

Functional hotel in a good location

The hotel is three streets back from the centre of town in a non-descript location. It is functional rather than comfortable. The rooms are small and very hot in summer. The beds are comfortable, wifi works well, there is ample parking. Breakfast is poor in comparison to other places we stayed. OK for a stop over.

The service here is beyond what I expected, everyone was always friendly and welling to help. It was a great stay, On warming days could be a great idea to have fans or something to get the room cold.

Would recommend.

Good and convenience location

The hotel is located near center of El Calafate. It’s very convenience to get everything. The room is clean but it’s old, need be refurnish.   Breakfast is good and varieties

Good lacation

Michelangelo is a cosy and quiet hotel in the central part of El Calafate, two blocks away from the busy tourist street with bars and restaurants and shops. The hotel has been in use for a while, you feel it when you open the door of the room, although it did not bother me much. The bathroom, however, needs a makeover. Breakfast was somewhat typical for Argentinian hotels - mostly cakes. Not sure how many European guests stay there, but I prefer more substantial food. There is a restaurant in the premises of the hotel, I had my Christmas dinner there. The food was excellent, the service was unprofessional. At the reception you can order a lunch box for the next day’s excursion, as well as book airport shuttle. You can also leave your luggage free of charge if you go away from El Calafate for a few days.

Serviceable but dated and well worn

The cleaning staff was good and diligent about cleanliness, but the hotel and furnishings were old and worn from the bed to the carpet to the bathroom, everything is about 5 years past due for a complete remodel.

The hotel condirion is better than expected. Check in front desk staff tried to sell us tour tickets instead of giving us the room key. Leftover desserts were served for breakfast.

Older hotel with basic amenities. It was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. While quaint, it was sufficient without any fluff.

Good location, friendly staff, good value. My only complaint is that the breakfast was below average. The scrambled eggs seemed like they came from a mix and there was no meat, such as sausage.

Property is very close to Main Street, very comfortable clean rooms. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Restaurant on site is fantastic serving good size reasonable meals, good continental breakfasts are also served in restaurants.

Hotel needs update

Great place, I felt like I was in home, recommend this hotel to my friends!

The hotel is very dated, it’s not clean either, found hair on my pillows and toilet bowl when I got in. There was a used towel under the heater too. Carpeted so there is a stale smell everywhere. The staff at front desk was extremely helpful, breakfast was decent. Location is great. The hotel is long overdue for refurbishment and the bad review is not for the service but the physical state of the hotel.

Worth every penny!

This hotel surprised us and how! It starts with a great location, stone's throw from the city's main street and good restuarants. As soon as we're checked in, we were welcomed with great service! All the receptionists were exceptionally helpful and went out of their way to answer questions and help organize the trip. We originally got a room in the old section of the hotel, which was okay - nothing to write home about but nothing to complain either. However, since the safe in our room didn't work we requested a different room and were moved to the new section. These rooms are immaculate, very well lit and tastefully decorated - all given its very low price was excellent value for money!! Overall we would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for budget accommodation with great service, clean rooms and perfect location!

Travelled to El Calafate to see the Perito Moreno glacier and stayed here. The staff were warm and welcoming and very helpful. Good breakfast laid on and good value for money I think. Would recommend.

The hotel is close to the city center. The staff speak good English. The breakfast has a rich selection of food, drink, and fruit. The hotel room is clean. You can also get hot water from the kitchen. We had a very good stay there.

Nice cozy place with good location

Feel very cozy and warm place. Very nice to have a shower with high pressured hot water after having a great Patagonia trip.

Tivemos uma ótima estadia. O hotel é muito bem localizado e a equipe do hotel foi bastante simpática e solícita. Nos permitiram realizar check in mais cedo, nos ajudaram a acertar passeios com uma agência e chamar um taxi para nos levar ao aeroporto. O quarto tem cama e lençois confortáveis e um radiador para aquecimento. Único ponto de melhoria seria em relação ao radiador, mesmo com ele ligado no máximo ainda sentimos um pouco de frio dentro do quarto. Recomendo o hotel.

Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einer guten Lage. Das Zimmer ist sauber allerdings etwas klein. Es gab sogar einen Kühlschrank. Das Personal war freundlich.

Malgré l allure désuète de l établissement, c est propre et tout ce dont un voyageur a besoin est présent. Très bien situé pour la ville animée.

Decepcionante

Na verdade, fomos trocados de hotel 1 semana antes do nosso check-in, para um hotel ( koi aiken) 3,6 km de distância do meu anterior, que era no centro. No hotel há escada, sem elevador, e nem funcionários para ajudar com a bagagem. As acomodações são limpas. E nao há telefone no quarto para falar com a recepção há a necessidade de deslocamento. Os funcionários nao são prestativos, mas isso acabamos contornando.Ficamos realmente decepcionados porque a distância para as atividades importa. E a troca tão perto do check-in nos deixou sem ação e a troca tornou-se compulsória.

El hotel tiene un diseño precioso, el personal fue de lo mas amable, nosotros salíamos muy temprano y abrieron el restaurante media hora antes para que pudiéramos tomar el desayuno, 10/10 con todo.

En general la estadía fue muy buena, la ubicación del hotel es muy buena, los servicios también y el personal es muy atento. Viaje con amigos y la habitación que les tocó a Ellos fue en una parte nueva del hotel, la cual era muy muy linda. A mí me asignaron una en la parte no renovada, pero de todas maneras la habitación era amplia, muy limpia y comoda. Quizás en poco tiempomas les sea necesario renovar el colchón y almohadas, Agradezco mucho al personal del hotel la atención brindada.

ROUBO é como classifico. PAGUEI toda a estadia para HOTÉIS.COM. Tentei contato com o hotel e disse que tinha de cancelar com a Hotéis.com, nela dizia q depois de 05.03 perderia todo o pagamento. Absurdo a ARGENTINA fechou todas as fronteiras. Não fui eu que fechou as portas. A Hotéis.com não atende telefone e nem disponibiliza um canal de comunicação. Jogo de empurra. O Hotel me mandou email dizendo q isentava taxas. Alguém roubou meu dinheiro. O mundo todo sabe é proibido sair de casa. Desculpa dizer que não tiveram tempo, póis não existe nenhuma operação turística no mundo todo. Exijo meu reembolso integral.
