The hotel is in bad condition and if I had another option I would have left. No Wifi, refrigerator and many other features listed in hotels.com. I changed rooms 2 times, first for a rusted out bathroom, then later the nightclub 6 floors down sounded like it was in my room. The new room was still noisy but not quite as loud. The staff was really amazing and kind.
TravellerFirst of all, I want to stress that all hotel staff (reception and restaurant) was friendly and very helpful! My poor evaluation is exclusively due to the conditions of the building which is extremely run down. Seems that since construcion no maintenance at all. That's a pity since it seems that when new it has been a nice place. Only reason to stay there: You have to be at Ubungo bus stand at 6 in the morning a need to buy the ticket the day before.
