Other than the parking everything was perfect

Really enjoyed staying here. The staff were lovely and the room was perfect.

The only thing we didn’t like was no parking at the property

This was an excellemt hotel, great amenities, room had everything we could need. Staff were wonderful. However, triple sheeting bedding technique made our sleep suboptimal and led to us coming into contact with nude doona... our room was also internally facing so had no natural light, this might be suitable for business travellers but was not ideal for us.

Apartment seemed brand new. Very clean. Well equipped kitchen. Laundry appliances in the apartment. Overall, a perfect experience. Would definitely book again.

There were no clear instructions on how to get Netflix working for the kids. We called down to staff for help, very little help it was assumed we knew how to get it working. In the end it did not work.

Always very easy experience with Meriton. Clean well thought out rooms and apartments, everything you need is there. Plenty of eateries nearby bottle shop around the corner a non pokie casino across the road. Great pool, sauna and gym . 10/10.

Spacious apartment

The rooms and beds are clean and comfortable. Spacious appartment with plenty of amenities. Close to everything in Canberra, easy parking. Will stay here when in Canberra again.

Great for a longer stay

Very well set up for a longer stay. Kitchenette, washer/drier, full fridge, two rooms with a door between. My wife and I were on an extended trip, and we work different schedules, so it was perfect for us.

A beautiful comfortable apartment, beds were fantastic and the bath was heaven!

I haven't used the parking as the onsite parking was full, advised by the receptionist. However, Meriton charged me for $61 under my deposit card. That was the only disappointment

Nice, clean, modern apartment

This property was lovely to stay at. Finding a parking spot to check in is difficult, but there is underground after you check in.

The front desk was good but as the three days I stayed there, the room was not cleaned properly.

Gem in Canberra

This is definitely one of the best hotels in Canberra! Facilities terrific and room were very large comfortable and with full kitchen. If you stay go up to 24th floor very large indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Sun deck just outside the pool room.

CLOSE CITY CENTRE Quiet

The room is of a good size. Large and spacious with kitchen and laundry facilities. Walking distances to shopping centres with lots of dining options nearby. Apartment is opposite the Casino and a Park. Nice to do an evening walk at the Park. The receptionists are all very friendly and helpful.

Location is great, we walked to Old Parliament House, Art Gallery, Canberra Mall etc. The room is a good size for two. No need to pay for parking there is free parking in the streets nearby, especially on weekends. Our first staff member was abrupt but after that all were good. We enjoyed the gym, sauna, spa and pool. We would stay again.

Good hotel. Tedious parking.

Hotel is good clean spacious quiet and comfortable. Parking arrangements are a nuisance; need to find a street park to check in before they’ll even try and allocate a space in the underground car park. Access is denied to the car park until you’re checked in. And even then the number plate recognition and back up QR access code provided failed to let me in. Parking much harder than it should be.

An Amazing apartment- central to all facilities within the CBD.

Modern, clean and central to shopping, entertainment etc. walking distance to many places.

The staff were very professional, accommodating and helpful. The amenities were great, clean and there was always an ease usung or navigating their website, making my booking, checking in and out. Very clean too. Thank you

Really good location.

Was definitely an experience! Great stay in a new area, super clean and quiet nightlife. The facilities are clean and they weren't packed so we got to enjoy these areas to ourselves.

Very clean and luxury suite. Added bonus is kitchenette and laundry. Staff were friendly and easy check in. Pool and spa sauna is superb.Good dining and shopping spots around walking distance.Parking is only an issue but an offsite parking was provided on a 2min walk with $15 fee. Overall a great place to stay. Highly recommend 👌.

great place to stay in Canberra

There was construction work right outside the apartment, that started at 6am. There was no mention of the issue on the description page or until we were in the room.

Fantastic room and facilities. Just parking was an issue Book ahead as I had to find street park.

Changed parking booking procedure so arrived and was not able to park. Staff not helpful

Second time staying here and just as good. Parking is a bit of an issue during peak times, but other than that is a great place to stay. Staff are friendly and helpful and rooms are clean and spaceous

Was told I had been given a room upgrade, although was disappointed that there was no view from balcony other than scaffolding merely meters away. Ear plugs were supplied with a note to say ‘our neighbours are noisy’. I guess noisy construction work is not Meritons’ fault, but to me an upgrade would mean a quieter room or room with a view for my first time visiting the city.

Pros: Hotel wasnvery clean and modern. Great customer service at front desk. City location. Cons: Had to pay extra for parking and crib. Limited parking spots.

Well maintained, modern property. Good value. Checkin clerk took extra effort to ensure 2 separate booking svc reservations were combined so room change was not necessary.

Whole package. Staff went out of their way to help.

Did not like arriving to discover room was opposite noisy building site. We should have been advised at time of booking and given option of a room elsewhere

Meriton is always a great place to stay - fully kitted kitchen is very convenient for a business trip, super clean and a great location in the center on Canberra.

A great modern suite with absolutely every thing in the room. Lovely balcony, dishwasher , micro oven, washing machine, clothes dryer and the list goes on and on. Great and helpful staff and good under cover car parking. I highly recomend this hotel.

Shower corners need to be cleaned properly as well. Consistently great stay thx

Great Staff Great location Clean property I booked this for a conference and it was a great location just around the corner from the convention centre Only issue was it doesn’t have a restaurant and the dining options in the immediate area cater for workers durning the day Having said that it was a short walk to the cbd restaurant strip

Easy, great space and gym/pool

Stay was great. Basically like having your own apartment instead of a hotel room. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Nice big balcony on my room.

Overnight family stay

Very convenient location. Excellent property. Very clean and rooms immaculately presented. Pool, spa, sauna and gym made our stay even more enjoyable. Paid parking onsite. Lifts are fast and secure. Will definitely come back again next time.

Great location!

Great location but not luxury

Unfortunately there was a construction site right outside our room so woken up very early at 6 am with very noisy workers. We were never told of this when booking which is unusual of you hotels .com. They were not consistent with the description of the room of partial water view. There was no view except Of a building and a crane and a bit of the city, no lake to be seen. We did get a lovely high floor though. The housekeeping was inconsistent no teabags, no face washers, no extra garbage bags had to ring down to reception twice for sundries. No body wash, no ghd hair straightener as promised. Couldn’t work out the Netflix. No pull up area for check in and no parking on site had to beg to get a space in the building as I’m disabled. All in all the location was great close to shops and floriade. But Meriton a little disappointed

Staying at the Meriton made our trip! Being walking distance to Floriade allowed us to avoid the traffic and not worry about finding parking. It’s also just around the corner from Canberra Mall and many local restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the range of books available to be borrowed from the foyer. It was a very homely touch!

Coffee machine didnt’t work, didn’t really matter to me because I drink pod coffee

My room is on the second level and has a building under construction on one side which blocks all of the views and daylight. Really depressing space without any exterior light. Also the construction noise started at 7am.

would prefer sheets and pillow cases be cleaned with more natural detergents as i found it difficult to sleep with their aroma.

Great place to be!

Loved my stay, room was nice and large, pool and spa amenities were amazing (indoor but big glass windows make for a great view!), and only a short walk to shopping and food. Will absolutely be staying here again.

Brand new hotel, highly recommended

A must stay when in Canberra. We had the mini suite and the rooms were huge. The pool spa and sauna were my other favourite thing. Brand new building too. Parking was easy and 30 bucks overnight directly in the basement.

Enjoyed our stay

The location is great. 2 Bedroom Suites are perfect for families. My only complaint is the thermostats are set to turn off automatically after 3 hours max. It was a pain to get up and turn on in the middle of winter as the kids room got really cold.

Canberra Trip July 2024

I have stayed with Meriton Suites Canberra on several occasions when I have travelled to Canberra for work. The recent terrible experience that I had with the Duty Manager has been the only reason for me to be hesitant to return to Meriton, however Thomas - Guest Services Manager - called me directly to discuss the incident and personally apologised for what happened. Not only did he attend to fixing my previous issue, but he also ensured that I was looked after on my most recent and future stay. Thank you Thomas! I really appreciate the gesture; my trust has been restored and I will continue TO patronise your hotel. Keep it up.

I am happy that I made the right choice.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The check-in was smooth. The staff was friendly. Meriton Suites is close to all the good restaurants and a shopping mall. I would suggest staying at Meriton Suites.

Great place to stay.

The property was lovely, however, there were issues with the showers and lack of hot water which was rather annoying. The air conditioning barely worked either. Neither of those things are great during Canberras winter

Canberra Stay

View from the room is amazing. The property is pretty new so all the unit and facilities around the hotel is really good. One improvement I suggest is the Duty Manager I spoke to last Saturday, 25 May is quiet hierarchical which makes me feel she is above me and no sense of reality that she is dealing with a guest. She put words in my mouth and make it an advantage for her rather listen and understand properly the discussion that we have. She hang up on me as well whilst talking to her. Overall a nice stay, the reception team are very friendly and approachable except for the Duty Manager which she thinks she is above me.

A great location for walking up to shops and restaurants nearby. Apartment was clean and had a good kitchen to self cater with a good size fridge. Laundry to wash clothes for longer stays. Pool on roof was relaxing. Has car parking at extra cost. Would definitely stay there again if in Canberra. Would be great to have an onsite cafe or bar.

It was quiet & comfortable for a last minute stay in Canberra owing to bad weather in the Blue Mountains..
